Meet our new legacy founder for The Beginner's Drama Challenge by @cosmoosims.

Trinity is a 20-year-old scorpio with a proclivity for rebellion. She has recently moved into a run-down fixer-upper out in the suburbs of Del Sol Valley, leaving her hometown of Tomarang in the dust.

Her given name is actually Pham Trinh, but for totally legal and completely unsuspicious reasons has been going by the alias Trinity since making the move.

She loves death metal, The Matrix, wasabi snacks, and rottweilers.

hmm, random thoughts about the FXMQ... a silly headcanon: Feng Xin has very much been hoisted by his own petard by heckling Mu Qing! That is to say, he'll harass Mu Qing relentlessly about something stupid only to be confronted with a similar situation and realise that there's absolutely NO way he can act in anyway similar to Mu Qing or he'll never hear the end of it.

(For example, he has tolerated some truly atrocious divine statues in the past because he's heckled Mu Qing so much about how picky he is with his divine statues that there's no WAY he can say ANYTHING without seeing that smug bastard's face in his head so he just has to bite his tongue and tolerate some unspeakably ugly statues.)

Mu Qing doesn't generally suffer from similar overthinking (he'll just prepare to kick FX's ass if he dares to say anything about it) except for things more directly related to himself. I think he genuinely finds sewing/embroidery/etc rather relaxing work but he'd rather die than have anyone ever see him do it because he's made such a big deal about not doing that sort of "servant" work anymore.

(He actually really enjoyed stitching Ruoye back together because it gave him the perfect excuse -- he's returning a favour!! and Xie Lian is hopeless!! of course he had to!! -- and he secretly considered using white thread to embroider some invisible little designs just because he doesn't quite want to stop... only he knew he'd get caught if he messed with Xie Lian's spiritual device like that and gave up the idea)

Pulling over to the side, Rooney nearly falls off their bike, scrambling to the guard rail of the bridge. Sliding down into sitting position, they catch a glimpse of the setting sun, a burning orange against the dark fading sky. They sigh deeply, head in their hands as they sit alone on the sidewalk. They’re just so exhausted. How much longer can they keep doing this? Keep moving along as the end goal is dragged further away? When will they be allowed to simply rest? Not haunted by nightmares? Closing their eyes only for a brief second, the Chimera appears again, dragging them towards the hole, down into hell with it.

They gasp, jumping slightly as their eyes open. Rooney’s breath comes in panicked bursts, a sense of adrenaline coming over them, followed by the realization that it’s all in their head. Rooney lets out a tired laugh, feeling the bone-aching weariness once again. Tears burn in the corner of their eyes, just wishing fate would cut them a break. Their cell rings, and Rooney knows what they need to do. Pick themself up; move through the pain and tiredness. He needs them, and Rooney isn’t about to let him down. Wiping their tears away, Rooney swallows, composing themself before answering. “What’s the situation?” "Shepard, I couldn’t reach-,” He stops, mid-sentence, a brief flicker of concern on his face, “What happened? Tell me.” “Nothing. What do you need me to do?” They push themself to their feet, ignoring the radiating pain and protest from their body. Rooney needs to keep moving forward. There is no rest for them; there never is.

I just found this program that converts MTG cards into D&D monster stat blocks and at first I was like "how would that even work?" And I figured that it probably looked at power/toughness, cost, color, types, and keyword abilities to set some basic stats and powers, but still, how do you give a monster attacks based on a magic card? Probably just generic attacks based off its power that the user is supposed to rewrite into something fitting. Looking at the examples they give, there's no way it could possibly generate abilities like that. These are obviously edited afterward to add cool fitting and flavorful abilities. So I plugged in Skeleton Archer and

It's not AI. It's all painstakingly handwritten, looking for specific common strings of text and mapping them to custom abilities. Combining the abilities with colors and types to make even more detailed abilities like Cursed Arrow. This program is a work of art.

Due to how heavily related "Father Time" is to PSISLY, I might move this in the side stories collection in Memoria instead of the new separate short stories I'm planning to write.

i chuckled when i saw the original ask because i realised that unlike in the vanitas no carte fandom (the fandom i was most active in from 2019 to late 2021) where EVERYONE knew i was the secret piss writer, people in the newer DL fandom probably don't know that i'm also the one who wrote all the old DL omorashi fics.

but, yeah, i_write_hurt_not_comfort (home to all the DL drug angst fics) and trash_with_impurities (home to all the DL piss fics from waaaaay back) are both me :)
