All the benefits and nice stuff would only happen under 2 circumstances.
1) It's been years since Damian was discovered/taken in by Bruce. He mellowed out after Dick and Bruce taught him that killing wasn't necessary and it wasn't allowed. (But all bets are off with the clown comes into the picture. Both Jason and Damian are ready to spill blood)
2) When Tim returns with Bruce after the whole time shenanigans, Damian is more interested in one upping Tim than killing him, since that doesn't get him any favors.
Because, let's be honest, the League of Assassins, like many old families, have a big sibling rivalry thing. The eldest gets the highest position: being the true heir, while the ones after are potential replacements or extras.
So Damian would probably be gunning for Tim even more than before, really. Especially if Bruce suddenly feels like doting on Tim more just to make up for lost time. It was Janet and Jack's responsibility before, but he was actually the father and was right there, it should've been his responsibility. He should've known. Why is Janet so sneaky-
It's a whole thing. But yeah, Damian would only really be like that if he mellowed out a bit by then.
Funnily enough, Tim might've been able to hide it. He would've told Bruce and Alfred his blood type, they'd have no need to check. I don't know if Tim's dealt with clone issues, but if not, there's no need for that identification. Tim mightve already put in his DNA match in some contingency files and Bruce only briefly glanced at it, but it's not the relavent compared to the other cases he has to look into. Alfred could take care of the medical requirements, which is what DNA falls into... probably.
DNA tests are different from blood tests, so thats my main reasoning.
Alfred definitely knows at some point. He's Alfred. He probably knew from the first meeting.
Maybe Barbara, though I doubt it for 1 reason: she's not actively looking into Tim's DNA files. I could see her being next to know.
But I could also see Cass or Steph being the ones to find out. Those fun DNA tests online? I bet Steph would've taken everyone's sample to see how it goes or just convinced Tim somehow. It's just a game right?
Cass would've had suspicions from the start. Never spoke up and it wasn't like it really mattered by then. He wasn't going to get away from the family alive, and with all the magic and supernatural stuff that goes on, he wouldn't be able to in death either. The Lazarus pits were already used on like- half of the family at that point. What's one more?
dick, who just got black mailed by 12 year old stalker tim: scary, that tim kid has a spot on bat-glare despite not spending anytime with you whatsoever, i mean the resemblance is uncanny
bruce trying to figure out if he ever slept with janet drake: very scary…

✨ShadowPeach Bio Parents Bio AU Q&A! 21/11✨
Tumblr media
Welcome to the Q&A! A space where I can answer related or similar question about the Shadowpeach Bio Parents AU! If you submitted your ask anonimously, then you’ll have to check the whole post if it’s answered here, if it’s not, worry not! Your asks might have been used for a future comic or just in the queue~
Anonimo ha chiesto: Hi! Would Macaque kidnap Wukong again? I read your comic, the last page, where Macaque is the kidnapping expert. And I'm very curious about it. Anyway, I love your comics! You are awesome.
Haha I don't think they really need it unless they want to do a "traditional wedding courtnapping" but it would be pretty odd since they kind of already live togehter.
Anonimo ha chiesto: I know this is definitely a LONG ways away, but, imagine: Wukong and Macaque playing the newlyweds game. What questions? What answers? Who’s asking the questions? Who’s getting the most right?
I wont list all the lesson but I think Macaque would get most of them right just because Wukong never really changed a lot during the years, while Macaque went through different stages of his life, and and he has new hobbies and tastes.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Will mk have a nightmare about LBD? If yes Then we will have some angst with fluffy monkeys family moments!!!
Oh he has. He has many. Most of them he has while he is at pigsy's.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Can you please shows up a flashback backstory on how MK/Wukong discovered/found out/came out as trans?? 🙏🙏🙏 Banana sundae with chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles, THREE cherries, and a super-deluxe one-and-only Monkie King™️ collectible spoon???
Anonimo ha chiesto: will we see any past Shadowpeach?? I’m interested to see how you frame their dynamic back 5en.
Hahah maybe in the future, I'll see
Anonimo ha chiesto: Can we get Wukong telling dad jokes? Please, I’m begging i want to see MK laughing and Macaque just being so disappointed with Wukong yet so smitten. I want to see more Monkey family domestic blissss. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I don't have my dad jokes book here but man give Macaque an award for the patience he has with these two children
@goofybearclown ha chiesto: Hi :3 Just wanted to say I love your shadowpeach and cotl AU!!! I didn't notice you made both at first but when I did I was like "waow :0". Tbh your works are in my top 3 series on Tumblr! @fenikzia ha chiesto: I love your LMK comic so much, I look forward to reading the new additions to it when they come out every other day,and reading your comic just makes my day better. Even if it hasn't updated a particular day, I make sure to go back and reread the newest part.Keep doing what you're doing and make sure to take breaks! @skye-minecraftyt-blog ha chiesto: You! I like you! Your Bio parents Lmk au always makes me extremely happy and I regularly reread it. ((o(^∇^)o)) Just wanted to say it @blazeandsilver ha chiesto: Hello, I just wanted to say your artwork is absolutely stunning, it makes my day whenever I see that you posted something new to the BioParents comic. Please keep up the good work and be sure to take some time for yourself, you’re important too.
AWWWWWW THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVE!!
Anonimo ha chiesto: Hihi shadowpeach au question: You mentioned in the latest comic that Mac is more lean and skinny than Wukong. Will we ever see the full extent of that?? ALSO I ADORE YOUR ART OMG ❤️❤️
A fully naked Macaque you say? Maybe.... who knows....
Anonimo ha chiesto: I come to defend Wukong acting like a man looking at a victorian lady ankles, he hasn’t seen his (ex) husband’s fur in centuries. And he probably hasn’t socialize in years either besides MK and the gang. Romantically he is stunned right? I doubt he has even looked at anyone besides Macaque anyways…
Honestly I like to think that Macaque was the only being in all the universe that was eer able to make him flustered
@mochalikesdrawing ha chiesto: So I got a question, will we ever get to see kaiju MK again?
I have a scene post AU I would like to draw. Maybe.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Ignoring all the angst because it is crushing my soul /pos, I'm lowkey convinced that Macaque knows Wukong feels some kind of way about him because he can hear his heartbeat go crazy at certain moments and isn't dumb, but just isn't calling Wukong on it because he's still trying to sort his own feelings first. BUT ONCE HE DOES OH BOY-
Hahah Macaque knows perfectly well Wukong is down for him. In the meantime Wukong is alwasy afraid he's just imagining things bc he's dense af.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Do you think Wukong and macaque would be cuddling and macaque would be watching something scary and Wukong would be trying to not pay attention to it because he hates scary stuff or would it be the other way around?
yess
@ep2nd ha chiesto: In your shadowpeach bio parents au, if MK and Wukong were created by Nuwa, with Nuwa using Macaque and Wukong as a base, has anyone wondered who created Macaque? And does Macaque himself knows?
Wait Nuwa created Wukong? If that's so I think then all the 5 monkeys were made by her, for some reason.
@boonalina ha chiesto: Sooo what exactly is the courtnapping process like? Is it just a simple "I'm gonna pick you up and carry you away" or is it an entire ceremony? Does someone have to lure the person into place? For example, Mei bringing Redson over to a secluded spot so that Mk can "courtnap" him? (Side note: I've been in this fandom for around two years now, and this comic is what made me find out about courtnapping lol)
I "think" anything that can be counted as like a sneak attack that takes them out of guard and brings them to the designated courtnapped room can be considered as courtnapping technically.
Anonimo ha chiesto: ... Hey so your shadow peach bio parent AU is better way better than season five. WOAH, WHO SAID THAT!! (no but seriously it is like a sitcom I tune on ever so often. Much love 🫶)
Haha thank you! That's a HUGE statement!
Anonimo ha chiesto: I wonder if MK has any unique attributes/abilities as a living mass of celestial material?
He's such a cocktail ofdifferent energies I wouldn't be surprised he is able to glow in the dark.
@cjtuy ha chiesto: I do have a question it's mainly about pigsy and tang when and how long have they been together as a couple and did both of them find mk are they married ?
They have been together for almost a year, but I don't think they are married, but maybe that could happen in the future??? But yeah MK found out a little after season 5 that they are together, that was also the same time he started calling Tang "Papa"
Anonimo ha chiesto: Has macaque added any personal items to the house? Like is he moved in? Have Wukong and macaque improved or changed anything else besides making the bed bigger?
Yes he did! Half of his belongins are in FFM, althought he's a little more minimalistic than Wukong. He also have been bothering Wukong to death so that he can finally organize his stuff (and they were roomates
Anonimo ha chiesto: I feel like if they were to play Minecraft or something macaque would be the base mom. He would be the only one to remember to farm food to not starve. The others would probably forget all the time that hunger is a thing in game. Wukong or Mk: oh dang does anyone have food I'm starving Macaque: (always brings extra for this reason) "sighs" yes
AH!
Anonimo ha chiesto: Remember the Minor Scale episode, from season 2? Where MK learn how to shrink himself? And there’s also the final episode of that season where MK just grow very big to try to fight LBD. I just love that part of his power and I have seen very little people showing it. Like, sometimes that power can show up when the poor boy is experiencing overwhelming emotions that can’t be contained anymore, or pure exhaustion. For example, Having many responsibility can lead to a lot of stress and exhaustion and at some point MK just can’t do more and just become tiny, not able to do more. On the opposite, maybe he experience trauma again through a nightmare (like about azure for example) and the emotional burden is to much and he just becomes big because of that. You see my vision? I love sizeshifting base on emotions :)
Aww and i love emotion-based powers, they are just so easy to play around.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Tbh the show should let macaque have a motorcycle. Wukong gets to be passenger princess
Yesss
Anonimo ha chiesto: as we get into the colder months i like to imagine MK’s first winter coat and he’s all super fluffy and warm
Cool for the monkey parents, bad for pigsy and all the hair in the restaurant from sheeding.
Anonimo ha chiesto: I think it would be so funny if MKs rock hadn't been cracked and he'd been raised on FFM by wukong. If the same thing happens in the show macaque planning to take mks powers thinking he's just Wukongs student but then while macaque and MK are training. Since macaque is so close he notices his ears. (Being raised by a monkey he gets his form sooner) suddenly putting everything on hold busting into FFM and is like WUKONG WTF
There's a fic on AO3 about it it's A Son of Two Dads
@cheese-hommo ha chiesto: Hii, fiesta I want to say I love how you draw and everything, it just looks so cool and beautiful. Now, with the last chapter of Monkey parents Au and so, with the acknowledgement of the demon etiquette and else, DBK and Wukong really misunderstand the comfort scene for a confession? Or something more? It was just so funny seeing the two of them getting so embarrassed at the end 🙂‍↕️
Ah, 2 young demons in their true forms so close to each other, blushing? Scandalous.
Anonimo ha chiesto: I've seen Mk is his Lego merch- he gots a tooth gap- so does this MK have one or did he get it filled?
Wait that was a tooth gap??? I though it was like, a detail of the smile
Anonimo ha chiesto: 🎤 what is your official (if any) opinion on Ink MK? (as a character, plot device, literary parallel, what have you)
It's ok. I personally believe "shadow" version of one character with their own fears and doubts is a clique a little bit too much used. But they give a lot of angst.
Anonimo ha chiesto: Thoughts on Macaque knowing either Japanese or Korean due to him liking anime.
I'll give you one better. Macaque always traveled to Japan pretty frequently during the centuries. Then became a weeb
Anonimo ha chiesto: Maybe it's just me but Wukong looks a bit thicker each time, is it because his fur's thickening or is he getting chubbier ??????? Anyway luv ur art
Both.

another thing i love, but this one is controversial, is the portrayal of the inquisitor. NOT their tiny insignificant role in the game until the 11th hour while they send us weirdly formal and deeply out of character letters but the actual dialogue from my lavellan and the way she carries herself in the scenes we do see of her (though there should have been more, without a doubt) is actually my favorite part of the game probably. i know this is maybe a very solavellan inquisitor exclusive experience and also just dumb luck that the way they wrote her in this game fits my lavellan but holy shit im so obsessed with it. its not even how i imagined how she would behave but its even better? the way they managed to convey her growth and maturity after 10 years literally floored me, and yet she still maintains this wistfulness that feels so incredibly right. the way she speaks with such confidence and conviction in her conversation with rook about her relationship with solas and then suddenly dissolves into pauses and stutters and “i don’t know”s when confronted with the possibility that there might actually be a future for them is INSANE. “or maybe I’m the prideful one, imagining his broken heart so that I don’t have to face my folly. that i loved someone who made such grave mistakes. that I might love him still” IS THE BEST LINE IN THE ENTIRE GAME. TO ME. IM SO SERIOUS. i watched that scene over and over and over and over again. the way she sits rook down and demands they tell her what solas did at the ritual with such authority but also the faintest glimmer of naive, foolish hope in her eyes that he might be salvageable is so sickening, and the way she turns it around on rook in the end to playfully ask about their love life. it’s like watching The Inquisitor switch turn off mid conversation. and there she is!!! that’s her!!!! of course she would ask rook about their lover of course she would she fell in love during the end of the world too!!! the several knowing looks shared between her and morrigan (“speaking from the heart, inquisitor?”) that imply a much deeper friendship has blossomed since we last saw them. her one little line with dorian - “something like that”. even the way she quietly sneaks into the throne room at the end, completely alone, as if she snuck away from the rest holed up below the archons palace. “even if those you have wronged asked you to stop?” the pained look on her face. the way she gets on her knees to look him in the eye. the way she speaks in elvhen, the implication that she has been studying it over the past 10 years. the fact that she does not touch him until after he takes her hands. literally every second of it is so good. it feels so so so right to me. it’s honestly as if, because my inquisitor has grown older than me by almost a decade, it was hard for me to imagine what she’d be like in her mid-30s, after so many hard years of grief and loneliness and the burdens of leadership. and the writers were just like “it’s okay, here, this is what she would be like after all this time”, AND THEY WERE RIGHT!? and it’s so subtle but it’s literally spot-on. it feels like the most natural progression of who she was. a little bit more sad, a bit more quiet, her words are more measured, no more snarky one liners (and maybe that’s why I love it so much- it’s such a refreshing change from listening to rook talk like they’re on Disney channel), there is a weight to her words and her presence that conveys her age and experience so clearly to me. veilguard made me love my inquisitor so much more. it has made me understand her so much more. it has clarified who she was in inquisition in the context of who she becomes later. im so obsessed with it im SO OBSESSED WITH HER!!!

BoyAge Vol.25 ft. Chinen Hidekazu (other pages and translation below)
Publication: November 11, 2024
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chinen Hidekazu-kun, who currently plays the role of Shouma in "Kamen Rider Gavv," makes his first appearance in BoyAge! During the interview, Chinen-kun's genuine kindness and personality was overflowing. Make sure to also check out his mature styling in the beautiful gravure!
Miraculous Encounters
"We'd like to hear about these "miraculous encounters" of yours."
Chinen: I believe I'm here now because of many miracles. First, becoming a Kamen Rider was the greatest miracle. I hadn't done any entertainment activities, but I came to Tokyo from Okinawa saying, "I want to become a Kamen Rider!," and not even a year later, I participated in my first Kamen Rider audition. I think it was an amazing miracle that that's where I was chosen, and I even shocked myself. Then there's the bonds I've made with people. Ever since I was a child, I've been blessed with the teachers and friends that surrounded me at school. Along with everyone affiliated with my agency, all the Rider staff, including the Directors and Producers, understand my traits and are trying to help me grow. I've been blessed by so many people, that I'm confident in saying that I'm a "miracle man."
"Do you ever feel afraid because these miracles are progressing without a hitch?"
Chinen: "Afraid" is certainly one way to describe it, but…..Maybe it's because of all the things I've done up until now? I was told from an early age to "practice good in secret," so perhaps luck is on my side.
"Is that like good deeds that are done without anyone knowing?"
Chinen: Right. That's why it's not something I tell people, but as an example, if flowers on the road were drooping, I'd stop to straighten them up, even if I was in the middle of a run. When I throw away worn out products like a toothbrush, I say "thank you" to it out loud. Because it's such a rare thing, people ask me, "You're still doing that at your age?" (laughs), but it's become a normal thing for me. Sometimes people think it's strange that I talk to flowers, but I think that's also part of my identity. I'm not embarrassed about it, as I do it with confidence.
"Is that something your parents taught you?"
Chinen: Yes! My parents were incredibly strict, as they only allowed me to eat sweets on weekends. The first time I went to a fast food restaurant was when I was in middle school. I haven't walked down any of the "paths" that everyone around me has taken. Shouma, the character I'm currently playing in Kamen Rider Gavv, also came to the human world from another world, so I can relate to his fresh approach to everything.
"You weren't unhappy as a child?"
Chinen: No, that's just how things normally were, but in exchange, I was allowed to do whatever I liked. I was also doing five extracurricular activities at the same time. They didn't buy me gaming consoles or a smartphone, but I now think that it was a good thing. I was able to become interested in alot of things because of that, and in this era of information overload, everything is convenient, but sometimes that makes me feel lonely because of the distance between me and others. And of all the activities I took on, I'm especially grateful for karate, as I'm using it in the action scenes in Kamen Rider.
"How long did you practice karate?"
Chinen: I did it for 4 years, from my third to sixth year in elementary school. I was doing full contact karate, where you can seriously strike your opponent, but I was so small at the time, that I was weak enough to be beaten by girls (laughs). However, there were also advancement tests, and I could actually feel that the more I did them, the better I got, so it was worth doing. Then one day I decided, "I want to play badminton," and so I quit and became devoted to badminton starting from middle school.
"You had so many things you wanted to do (laughs)."
Chinen: That's right (laughs). It's one of my weak points, but I'm interested in alot of things, so I move quickly. Acting was just something I was curious about at first, and I thought, "Ah, I want to do that," so I quit badminton, which I had been playing until my second year of high school, and during Summer vacation, I thought, "Alright, I'll go for an audition." The audition I had during that Summer vacation was the audition for my current agency.
"The gap between your enthusiasm when you start and the honesty when you stop is amazing, don't you think?"
Chinen: Yes (laughs). I was so passionate about badminton, that I thought I'd have to burn myself out before I'd stop. I was able to compete in the Inter High Championships with my seniors, who were one year above me at the time, and since I felt satisfied with things, I was able to switch directions quickly and easily.
"So once you're satisfied, it's onto the next thing, huh?"
Chinen: When I focus on one thing, I can't think of anything else. In the future, I'd like to make use of that in my acting career.
"What will you do if you feel satisfied as an actor?"
Chinen: Don't worry! Acting is something you study your whole life. It's a world with no limits, where you develop until you die, and that's what makes it so appealing, so I think I can continue to be enthusiastic about it. In addition, I can experience various occupations through my roles, so I was able to find the perfect job for myself.
"Yeah, that's good (laughs). Now then, who's the person Chinen-kun wants to meet the most right now?"
Chinen: There's a ton, but I'd like to meet my middle school teachers. Ever since I was in elementary school, I've been closer to my teachers than my friends. I'd go to the staff room or music room to talk with them during breaks. There, I'd always say, "I want to be an actor," and they'd give me encouragement by saying, "If it's Chinen, you can make it." The reason why I was attracted to this world in the first place was because if I appeared on TV, tons of people would be able to watch me through the airwaves, even if they're far away. I hope they're happy that their student is now making appearances. I think it's thanks to my teachers that I was able to enjoy a fulfilling youth. I want them to see me after all these years and see how much I've grown.
"We're sure they'd be overjoyed. Now that you're currently appearing in Gavv, and it's been half a year since filming started, do you feel more relaxed?"
Chinen: I don't have the time to say, "I'm totally OK now!," but I think I've developed alittle bit of enjoyment in my heart. At first, I had no experience, so I was the one receiving advice, but now I can ask by myself, "Can I try doing this?" Other than that, I've also expanded my interests by watching films I wouldn't normally watch as references. I'm having the most fun right now. I've found what I want to create, and I feel that I've finally reached the point where I can enjoy it. I was hesitant at first to talk to the other cast members and guest cast, but now I'm trying to talk to them myself.
"Did you feel any pressure in the beginning?"
Chinen: Yes, it's not completely gone now, but I'm still concerned about the reaction of the viewers every time a broadcast airs, and when we were filming on location in town, the neighborhood children would cheer me on and say, "Go for it, Shouma!" I'm conscious of the fact that I'm participating in a production that's supported by tons of people, so I make sure to never forget that. I'd like to create this show while keeping a certain level of tension.
"Filming a tokusatsu program is hard, isn't it?"
Chinen: I think so. Nevertheless, I spend my time thinking that everything is a positive thing for me, and that I'm living in the best environment possible. It's all been a learning experience, and I appreciate all of it, so when we reach the end, I want to be sent off with pride in my chest. I entered this world on my own because I admired it, so it doesn't bother me at all.
"How do you raise your spirits on days when things aren't going your way?"
Chinen: I think it's important to be properly let down. It'd be a waste of time if I thought, "Oh, alright," and then forgot about it a week later because I was too busy with filming. I think you'll grow faster if you really think about each and every thing and think, "I'll make sure that doesn't happen next time." So, I try to cherish the time I have alone to properly sulk. I love music, and before I started working on Rider, I was the kind of person who always had to have background music playing in my life. However, one of my seniors told me, "It's also important to take time to create silence and listen to your heart," and I thought that was a really good method to follow. I may get really depressed on a certain day, but I can reset myself after a good night's sleep, so I try not to drag it over into the next day!
"Self suggestion is also an option, huh? (laughs). Have your impressions of Shouma changed since playing him?"
Chinen: Shouma's abit different since he's from another world. In the beginning, I was conscious of making the viewers immediately think, "Huh? There's something off about this kid." Things like how only the vibes around Shouma are different. Still, as the episodes progressed, I began to think that I wanted to see Shouma as a human being and began to play him as such. I think that as the second half of the show unfolds, we'll see his humanity, and the parts of him that'll seem to be no different from everyone else's. The Director also changes every two episodes, and their approach to portraying Shouma is different from each other. There's alot of action and highlights in every episode, so I think that's one of the things that'll keep you coming back to the show.
"You mentioned earlier that "the neighborhood children would be cheering you on," but how has the response been since the broadcast started?"
Chinen: It's trending every week, so I'm beyond happy that tons of people are watching and caring about it. It seems that even the little monster toys known as Gochizou are hard to acquire. I'm really happy that there are people who watch the show, find it appealing, and want to "own it." They're so popular, that even we can't buy them (laughs).
"It's a Kamen Rider with a sweets motif. Every time we finish watching an episode, we want to eat something sweet."
Chinen: That makes me happy. I also heard that girls are watching the show because of the sweets. The visuals are also colorful and pleasing to the eyes, but there's a part of the show's story that's abit "bitter." Since the broadcast started, the atmosphere on set has changed again. We got off to a good start, so everyone's even more enthusiastic. I hope you'll continue to support us as you've been doing, and to see this through to the ending.

And as much as they don't want their partner to cry, they feel really appreciated. Just loads of fluff! Thank you!<3🩵
P.s. ofc feel free to change or add anything you fell like. Appreciate it!

The smell of freshly brewed coffee wafts through the air, warm and inviting. It greets you before you even open your eyes, a little luxury of the life you’ve built together. Your sleepy mind pieces together the familiar sounds of Steve moving around the kitchen—the soft clink of the coffee pot returning to its base, the gentle scrape of a plate across the counter.
He’s making breakfast.
The thought alone tugs at your heart. After seven years together, Steve Rogers still finds a way to make every morning feel special, no matter how ordinary. You pull the blanket tighter around you and close your eyes for a moment, letting the sound of his hums blend with the noise of the city beyond the window. It’s moments like these, the quiet ones, that remind you just how deeply you’re loved.
By the time you shuffle into the kitchen, still rubbing the sleep from your eyes, he’s plating up pancakes. He’s not wearing a shirt, just his gray sweatpants sitting low on his hips, and his blond hair is damp and tousled like he’s already gone for a run. It’s infuriating how good he looks, even at this hour.
“Morning, sweetheart,” he says, flashing you that boyish smile, the one that makes your stomach flip even now.
You give him a sleepy grin in return, padding toward him on bare feet. His hand automatically finds the small of your back as you lean into him, your cheek pressing against his chest. For a moment, there’s no one else in the world but the two of you.
“You didn’t have to get up so early,” you mumble against his skin, your voice still thick with sleep.
“You were out like a light,” he says, his hand running gently up and down your spine. “Figured I’d let you sleep in a little.” His voice is low, affectionate, and entirely too effective at making your heart melt.
When you pull back, he tips your chin up with one finger, his blue eyes scanning your face like it’s the first time he’s seen you. “Coffee?” he asks, already stepping away to grab your favorite mug from the counter.
You watch him pour the coffee, a soft smile playing on your lips. He’s careful, deliberate, like he’s handling something precious. And you suppose, in his eyes, he is.
As he hands you the mug, his fingers brush yours, sending a spark of warmth through you. The gesture is small but thoughtful, the way so many of his gestures are. Seven years, and he still makes you feel like you’re worth all the time and effort in the world.
The first sip of coffee is heavenly, and you sigh contentedly as you sink into one of the kitchen chairs. Steve sits across from you, his long legs stretching out under the table, and slides a plate of pancakes in your direction. “Banana chocolate chip,” he says. “Thought you might want something sweet today.”
Your eyes go wide. “You made these just for me?”
His laugh is soft and teasing. “Who else would I make them for?”
Your chest tightens at the sincerity in his voice, and before you can stop it, tears start to blur your vision.
Steve freezes mid-bite, his fork hovering in the air. “Hey,” he says gently, already moving his chair closer to yours. “What’s wrong?” His hand lands lightly on your knee, his thumb stroking small circles there.
You shake your head, letting out a watery laugh. “Nothing’s wrong. I just…” You glance down at the pancakes, overwhelmed by the sudden rush of emotions. “You made me pancakes.”
“Yeah,” he says slowly, clearly not understanding why that’s enough to turn you into a mess. “And?”
“And you made them the way I like them,” you sniff, wiping at your eyes. “With the chocolate chips on top, not mixed in, because you know I like the crunch.” Your voice cracks slightly, and you look up at him, feeling ridiculous for crying over pancakes. “You’re too good to me.”
His expression softens instantly, a mix of affection and bemusement. He moves his chair even closer, until his knees bump yours. “Sweetheart,” he says, cupping your face in his hands, his thumbs catching the stray tears. “It’s just pancakes.”
“No, it’s not,” you insist, your voice a little shaky. “It’s… it’s that you always think of these little things. You always go out of your way to make me happy.” You gesture toward the plate, then to him. “Even after all this time, you still do stuff like this.”
For a moment, he just looks at you, his expression unreadable. Then he smiles, leaning in to press his lips softly against your forehead. “I hope you know I don’t do any of this because I feel like I have to,” he murmurs. “I do it because I want to. Because seeing you happy is worth it. Every single time.”
His words are a balm, soothing the tight ache in your chest, and you let out a shaky laugh. “Well, congratulations,” you say, trying for levity. “You made me cry before breakfast again.”
“Again?” he echoes, chuckling softly. “I’m starting to think it’s my superpower.”
You can’t help but laugh at that, even as you swipe at your damp cheeks. “You’d give Tony a run for his money.”
“I’ll let him know,” Steve says with a wink, sliding the plate closer to you. “Now eat your pancakes before they get cold.”
You roll your eyes, but the teasing warmth in his tone makes you reach for your fork. The first bite is everything you expected—soft, sweet, and rich with the perfect balance of flavors. You moan appreciatively, and Steve grins at the sound, looking entirely too pleased with himself.
“Good?” he asks, resting his chin on one hand as he watches you.
“Good,” you say around a mouthful of pancake, the tension in your chest easing with every bite.
For a while, the two of you eat in companionable silence, the kind that only comes from years of knowing and loving each other. Steve tells you about his run—how Sam gave him grief for being late to their meeting spot, how the park was unusually crowded this morning—and you listen with a soft smile, chiming in occasionally with little jokes or questions.
But even as the conversation flows, you can see the way Steve keeps glancing at you out of the corner of his eye, like he’s still trying to puzzle you out. He’s always been like this, endlessly patient, endlessly curious about the way your mind works.
Finally, he sets his fork down and leans back in his chair, studying you. “You know,” he says thoughtfully, “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to how sensitive you are.”
You pause mid-bite, your fork hovering just shy of your lips. “Is that a bad thing?” you ask, suddenly self-conscious.
“Not at all,” he says quickly, his expression earnest. “I mean it in the best way. You feel everything so deeply, and… I don’t know. It amazes me, I guess. How you can look at something as simple as pancakes and see all the love behind it.”
Your cheeks warm at his words, and you glance down at your plate. “I don’t mean to make a big deal out of things,” you mumble. “I just… I can’t help it. When you do something sweet, it gets to me.”
He reaches across the table, his hand covering yours. “I don’t want you to help it,” he says, his voice soft but firm. “I love that about you. I love that you cry over movies and surprise gifts and little things like pancakes. It reminds me to slow down and appreciate those things too.”
You blink at him, your throat tightening all over again. “You mean that?”
“Every word,” he says, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. “So, if you feel like crying over pancakes or anything else, go ahead. I’ll be here to catch the tears.”
It’s too much—his words, his presence, the unshakable love in his eyes. Before you can stop yourself, you’re crying again, this time out of sheer gratitude. Steve just laughs softly and moves to your side, pulling you into his arms like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
“I love you,” you whisper against his chest, your voice trembling.
“I love you too,” he murmurs, his lips brushing the top of your head. “More than anything.”
Friday nights at the Tower are sacred—a time to unwind, laugh, and for Tony Stark to force his eclectic taste in movies on the rest of the Avengers. Tonight, the team has assembled in the massive home theater, complete with a state-of-the-art sound system, plush recliners, and enough snacks to sustain a small army.
You’re curled up next to Steve on one of the oversized couches, your legs tucked beneath you and your head leaning on his shoulder. His arm is draped casually around you, and he’s absently playing with the ends of your hair as Tony prowls the front of the room, remote in hand, his enthusiasm palpable.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” Tony announces, dramatically pointing the remote like it’s a scepter, “tonight’s feature presentation is the cinematic masterpiece, Titanic.”
Groans ripple through the group.
“Tony, again?” Natasha asks, leaning back in her seat with a smirk. “You have a billion-dollar movie collection, and you keep picking this one.”
“It’s called having taste, Romanoff,” Tony retorts, tossing her a packet of Red Vines. “Some of us recognize greatness when we see it. This movie has it all: romance, drama, social commentary, and the single greatest piece of floating debris in cinematic history.”
“It’s a door,” Clint says flatly.
“It’s art,” Tony snaps back, dramatically clutching his chest like he’s been wounded.
Steve chuckles under his breath, squeezing your shoulder gently. “You okay with this one?” he asks, his voice low and warm. “We can always sneak out and watch something else.”
You shake your head, giving him a small, teary smile. “No, it’s fine. I just… I’m probably going to cry.”
“I know,” he says softly, brushing a kiss to your temple. “It’s okay.”
The others are still bickering as the lights dim and the iconic opening notes of James Horner’s score fill the room. You take a deep breath, already bracing yourself. You’ve seen Titanic before—enough times to know that you’re in for an emotional ride—but somehow, the anticipation makes it worse.
It doesn’t take long. By the time Rose boards the ship and gazes out at the ocean, your eyes are already brimming with tears. The sheer scale of the doomed ship, the haunting foreshadowing—it all hits you at once.
“Uh, are you okay?” Bruce whispers from the seat next to you, looking genuinely concerned.
“Yeah,” you manage, your voice thick. “I just… I know what’s going to happen.”
Steve, unfazed, reaches into the bowl of popcorn and pops a kernel into his mouth. “This is normal,” he explains casually to Bruce, his tone as calm as if he were describing the weather. “She gets emotional during movies. It’s just how she is.”
Bruce nods slowly, his brow furrowing like he’s trying to understand. “But… it’s barely started.”
“She’s a big feeler,” Steve says with a shrug, pulling you a little closer as your sniffles grow louder.
“Is someone crying already?” Tony hisses from the front row, twisting around to squint into the dim light. When his eyes land on you, he raises an eyebrow. “We haven’t even hit the iceberg. You know that, right?”
“She knows,” Steve replies evenly, not even looking up from the screen. He grabs a tissue from the box he always keeps nearby during movie nights—specifically for you—and hands it to you without missing a beat.
Tony’s jaw drops. “You brought tissues specifically for this?”
“Of course,” Steve says, as though it’s obvious. “It happens every time.”
The group exchanges looks, equal parts bewildered and amused, but Steve just leans down to kiss the top of your head. “You’re okay,” he murmurs, his voice soothing. “Just let it out.”
“Wow,” Clint says, his tone dripping with mock admiration. “You’re a braver man than I am, Rogers.”
The movie marches on, each scene tugging at your heartstrings with surgical precision. Jack and Rose meet. They fall in love. They dance in third class and spit off the back of the ship. By the time they’re standing on the prow, their arms spread wide as the wind rushes around them, you’re openly sobbing into Steve’s chest.
“Am I supposed to do something?” Bruce whispers, looking helplessly at Steve.
“Nope,” Steve replies, rubbing slow circles on your back. “Just let her cry. She’ll feel better afterward.”
“I’m not sure that’s how crying works,” Bruce mutters, but he stays quiet, occasionally passing you another tissue.
Tony, meanwhile, is watching you with thinly veiled amusement. “I’ve gotta ask,” he says during a quieter moment, “do you cry at every movie, or is this one just special?”
“Not every movie,” Steve says, his lips twitching into a small smile. “But most of them. Especially the ones with tragic endings.”
“That’s an understatement,” Natasha says dryly. “Remember Finding Nemo?”
Clint snorts. “Oh, that was legendary. We weren’t even five minutes in, and she was already bawling over the mom dying.”
Tony looks scandalized. “Finding Nemo? That’s a kids’ movie!”
“And yet…” Clint gestures toward you, now hiccupping softly as Jack and Rose sneak into the cargo hold for their iconic steamy scene.
“She just feels things deeply,” Steve says, his voice laced with affection. “It’s one of the things I love about her.”
Tony groans dramatically, throwing a handful of popcorn in Steve’s direction. “You’re making the rest of us look bad, Rogers. Stop being so disgustingly wholesome.”
“Not my fault you guys don’t bring tissues for your girlfriends,” Steve shoots back, his smirk widening.
By the time the ship hits the iceberg, the mood in the room has shifted. Even Tony has gone quiet, though he’s clearly trying to maintain his composure. You, on the other hand, are a wreck. The sight of the passengers scrambling for lifeboats, the haunting wails of the violinists playing “Nearer My God to Thee”—it’s too much.
Your sobs reach a crescendo as Jack and Rose cling to each other in the freezing water, their breaths ragged and visible in the frigid air. Steve adjusts his hold on you, tucking your head under his chin and murmuring soft reassurances.
“I’ll never let go, Jack!” Rose cries, her voice breaking.
You lose it completely, clutching at Steve’s shirt as though your own heart is breaking. Steve strokes your hair, his voice calm and steady. “It’s okay, sweetheart. I’m here.”
Tony, meanwhile, is blinking rapidly, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. “What?” he says defensively when Clint raises an eyebrow at him. “It’s allergies. Big-screen projectors always make my eyes water.”
Natasha snickers. “Sure they do.”
As the credits roll, you’re still hiccupping softly, your face buried in Steve’s chest. He doesn’t seem to mind, his hand moving in a soothing rhythm along your back.
“Okay, that was… intense,” Bruce says, looking around the room like he’s not sure what just happened.
“I’m pretty sure I lost three pounds in tears,” Clint adds, tossing an empty box of tissues onto the table. “Do we have a hydration station somewhere?”
Tony sniffs loudly and stands, stretching his arms overhead. “Well, folks, that’s how you do cinema. Epic. Heartbreaking. Unforgettable.”
“Admit it, you cried,” Natasha says, smirking at him.
“I did no such thing,” Tony replies, looking deeply offended. “Unlike some people…” He gestures dramatically toward you, still snuggled against Steve.
“Hey,” Steve says with a shrug, his tone as casual as ever. “She’s passionate. It’s one of the reasons I love her.”
“You’re an actual saint,” Clint mutters, shaking his head.
You finally lift your head, your cheeks streaked with tears but your eyes shining with gratitude. “Thanks for letting me cry all over you,” you say softly to Steve, your voice still wobbly.
“Anytime,” he replies, his smile warm and unwavering. “You know I’ve got you.”
Tony groans loudly, throwing his hands in the air. “And this,” he says, gesturing wildly at the two of you, “is why I’m never inviting you to movie night again. You two are too cute, and it’s ruining the vibe.”
“Tony, you’re just mad because you cried,” Natasha quips.
“I did not cry!” Tony protests, his voice rising an octave.
Bruce chuckles, leaning back in his seat. “Whatever you say, Tony.”
As the group dissolves into laughter, Steve leans down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “You okay now?” he asks, his voice just for you.
You nod, your heart swelling with love for the man who always makes space for your emotions, no matter how messy they are. “I am,” you whisper. “Thanks to you.”
“Good,” he murmurs, pulling you close. “Because we’re definitely sneaking out before Tony picks another three-hour tearjerker.”
You laugh through the last of your sniffles, feeling safe and loved in his arms. As far as you’re concerned, there’s no better way to end a movie night.
After the emotional rollercoaster of Titanic, the Avengers agree on one thing: no more movies that could make you cry. Steve, ever the supportive boyfriend, gently suggests a comedy for the next round, earning nods from everyone in the room. Even Tony, slightly miffed from being accused (rightfully) of shedding a tear during Rose’s tearful farewell to Jack, throws in his agreement.
“Alright, team,” Tony announces, striding to the movie library with a flourish. “Since apparently, I’ve been overly ambitious in my cinematic choices, I’ll keep it light. Comedy. Laughs. Penguins falling over or something. Nobody cries at penguins, right?”
“Right,” you say with an encouraging smile, though your earlier sob session has left your voice hoarse.
Steve wraps an arm around your shoulder, his lips brushing your temple. “You sure you’re up for another movie?”
You nod enthusiastically. “I’m good. Something funny sounds perfect.”
The new movie is a slapstick comedy involving ridiculous pratfalls, a few over-the-top explosions (Tony’s insistence), and a hilarious subplot about a cat that keeps stealing its owner’s Wi-Fi password. It’s everything you need to decompress from the earlier emotional onslaught, and soon the room is filled with the sound of laughter.
Even Steve, who isn’t always in sync with modern humor, is chuckling at the absurd antics on screen. You’re curled up next to him, giggling into his shoulder as a character accidentally sets his kitchen on fire trying to make toast. Across the room, Tony and Clint are reenacting a particularly ridiculous dance scene, complete with exaggerated hip thrusts.
“See?” Tony says triumphantly, pouring himself another glass of whiskey. “This is how you do a movie night. Fun! Light! No tears.”
Natasha arches an eyebrow at him, clearly unimpressed by his theatrics. “Give it time, Stark. We’re not done yet.”
Hours later, after the comedy has ended and a few rounds of drinks have been poured, Tony somehow stumbles upon a nature documentary titled The Journey of Life. The cover features an adorable penguin waddling across a snowy landscape, and Tony declares it “perfect background noise.”
“This,” he slurs slightly, pointing at the screen, “is what we need. Penguins. Cute, waddling, ice-sliding penguins. No emotions. Just vibes.”
“Are we sure this is a good idea?” Bruce asks cautiously, but Tony is already pressing play, plopping down on the couch with a fresh drink in hand.
Steve looks at you, his eyebrow raised in question. “You okay with this?”
“It’s just penguins,” you reply with a shrug, snuggling into his side. “What’s the worst that could happen?”
At first, it’s exactly what Tony promised. The documentary opens with breathtaking shots of snowy mountains and vast, icy plains. The narrator’s soothing British accent describes the challenges of survival in the harsh Antarctic environment as a colony of emperor penguins waddles across the frozen landscape.
“Oh my god, look at them!” you exclaim, your eyes lighting up. “They’re so cute!”
“They’re ridiculous,” Tony says with a chuckle. “Like tiny, overdressed toddlers. I love them.”
Everyone relaxes, lulled by the majestic scenery and the gentle cadence of the narrator’s voice. Even Steve seems to be enjoying himself, his hand absentmindedly stroking your back as you watch the penguins slide on their bellies and huddle together for warmth.
It starts with a single penguin chick—fluffy, wide-eyed, and impossibly adorable. It stumbles away from the group, its tiny feet slipping on the ice as it struggles to keep up with its parents. The narrator explains, in heartbreakingly calm tones, that not every chick survives the journey to the feeding grounds.
“No,” you whisper, your hand flying to your mouth as the camera zooms in on the chick’s desperate waddling. “No, no, no. Someone help him!”
“It’s nature,” Clint says uncomfortably, shifting in his seat. “It happens.”
“Doesn’t mean we have to watch it!” Tony snaps, his earlier bravado evaporating. His face is red, and he’s gripping his whiskey glass a little too tightly.
Steve sighs, pulling you closer as your sniffles begin. “It’s just a documentary, sweetheart. It’s the circle of life.”
“Circle of life my ass,” Tony grumbles, his voice thick. “That chick deserves better.”
As the chick stumbles farther away, your tears begin in earnest. “He’s lost! He’s so little! Steve, he’s not going to make it, is he?”
Steve pats your back, his voice soft but resigned. “Probably not, sweetheart.”
“Why are we watching this?” Tony demands, pointing an accusatory finger at Bruce. “You should’ve stopped me! You’re the smart one!”
“I didn’t know it was going to get sad!” Bruce protests, throwing up his hands. “It’s a documentary about penguins!”
By the time the chick’s fate is sealed (you can’t even bring yourself to look as the narrator solemnly declares that it’s “a tragic but essential part of the ecosystem”), you and Tony are both a mess. You’re clutching Steve’s shirt, sobbing into his chest, while Tony sniffles loudly into his empty glass.
“It’s not fair,” you cry, your voice muffled. “He was just a baby!”
“I know,” Tony says, his voice cracking. “He didn’t even get a chance! He deserved a chance!” He gestures wildly at the screen. “Why didn’t they save him? Someone could’ve—”
“It’s a documentary,” Natasha interrupts dryly, though even she looks mildly uncomfortable. “No one’s interfering.”
“That’s barbaric,” Tony declares, wiping at his eyes. “I’m calling PETA.”
Steve kisses the top of your head, his hand running soothingly along your back. “You want to stop watching?” he offers quietly.
“No,” you hiccup, though you’re clearly still devastated. “I need to see if the others are okay.”
The documentary continues, alternating between moments of lighthearted penguin antics and devastating tragedies. Each time something sad happens, you and Tony are reduced to tears, much to the bemusement of the rest of the team.
By the end of the film, when the surviving penguins finally reach their feeding grounds and triumphantly slide into the water, you and Tony are clinging to each other like war survivors.
“That was horrific,” Tony declares, dabbing at his eyes with a napkin. “Whoever made that documentary is a monster. I need a drink.”
“You’ve had several drinks,” Natasha points out, rolling her eyes.
“Not enough to erase that from my memory,” Tony replies dramatically. He glances at you, his expression softening slightly. “You okay, cry queen?”
You manage a shaky smile. “I think so. That was just… a lot.”
Steve, ever your rock, kisses your temple and pulls you close. “I don’t think we’ll be watching documentaries again anytime soon,” he murmurs.
“Seconded,” Tony says, raising his glass. “To no more emotional devastation disguised as education. Who’s with me?”
“Agreed,” Clint says, shaking his head. “No more penguins. Ever.”
As the team dissolves into laughter and lighthearted teasing, you snuggle deeper into Steve’s arms, feeling safe despite the emotional rollercoaster. No matter how many tears you shed — or how often Tony joins you — you know you’ll always have the world’s most patient boyfriend by your side.
The tower is unusually quiet after the emotional whirlwind of the movie night. The penguins have long since waddled off the screen, the room cleaned up from the chaos of snack wrappers and spilled drinks. You’re asleep now, curled up on the couch with your head resting in Steve’s lap, the faint remnants of tears drying on your cheeks.
The others linger, nursing drinks or settling into the comfortable post-movie quiet. Steve’s hand moves gently over your hair, his touch instinctive and protective as he listens to the idle conversation around him.
“Poor thing,” Natasha says softly, nodding toward you. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone cry so much over a documentary.”
“Speak for yourself,” Clint retorts, jerking a thumb at Tony. “He went through an entire roll of tissues.”
Tony, leaning back in his chair with his drink in hand, glares. “It’s called empathy, Barton. You wouldn’t understand.”
“Empathy,” Natasha repeats dryly, raising an eyebrow. “Or maybe whiskey?”
“A little of column A, a little of column B,” Tony mutters, waving her off. His gaze flicks toward you, then back to Steve. “You’ve got the patience of a saint, Rogers. How do you do it?”
Steve chuckles softly, looking down at you with a fondness so deep it’s almost tangible. “I love her,” he says simply, his voice quiet but steady. “She feels everything so deeply, and yeah, that means a lot of tears, but it’s also what makes her so special. She’s got the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met.”
“Aww,” Clint says, his tone mocking but not unkind. “Cap’s going all gooey on us.”
Steve shakes his head with a smile, but there’s something thoughtful in his expression, something weighing on him. He glances at the team, then back at you, as if debating whether to say more. Finally, after a moment’s hesitation, he clears his throat.
“There’s actually something I’ve been meaning to talk to you all about,” he begins, his voice low. “I want to ask her to marry me.”
The room goes still. Natasha blinks, her eyebrows lifting slightly. Bruce, who’s been quietly sipping his tea, looks up with a small, surprised smile. Tony leans forward, suddenly all ears.
“Well, that’s not shocking,” Clint says, breaking the silence. “You’ve been together, what, seven years? We were wondering when you were going to pop the question.”
Steve nods, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Yeah, it’s been a while. I’ve known for a long time that she’s the one. But…” He hesitates, his eyes dropping to your sleeping form. His hand brushes a stray strand of hair from your face, his touch featherlight. “I’m scared.”
“Scared of what?” Bruce asks gently.
Steve lets out a soft sigh, his brow furrowing. “Her reaction. She’s so sensitive, and she gets overwhelmed easily. What if I ask and she has a panic attack? Or starts crying so much she can’t even answer me? I just… I don’t want to put her through that.”
Tony snorts. “You’re worried she’s going to cry? Newsflash, Rogers: she cries when you bring her coffee in bed. This is a proposal, man. Of course she’s going to cry.”
“Tony,” Natasha says, shooting him a warning look. “He’s being serious.”
“I am serious,” Tony retorts. “Look, she’s emotional, yeah, but she’s not fragile. She loves you, Rogers. That’s the whole point. She’s not going to freak out because you ask her to marry her—well, not in a bad way, at least.”
Steve looks unconvinced. “I know she loves me,” he says quietly. “But I also know how overwhelming things can be for her. I don’t want to put her in a position where she feels pressured or out of control.”
Natasha tilts her head, studying him with that sharp, analytical gaze of hers. “So don’t make it overwhelming,” she says simply. “You don’t have to plan some elaborate proposal. Just talk to her. Make it quiet, intimate. Something that feels safe.”
“Yeah,” Bruce adds, his tone thoughtful. “She’s not the kind of person who needs a big show, is she? She’d probably appreciate something small, just the two of you.”
Steve nods slowly, his mind working through their words. “You’re right. She doesn’t like big gestures. She always says the little things matter more to her.”
“Exactly,” Natasha says. “So make it one of those little things. Something simple but meaningful.”
Tony, who’s been uncharacteristically quiet for the past minute, suddenly speaks up. “And if she does cry,” he says, his voice unusually soft, “it’s not because she’s scared or upset. It’s because she loves you so much she doesn’t know how else to show it.”
The room falls silent at that, the weight of Tony’s words settling over them. Steve looks around at his teammates—his family—and lets out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding.
“Thanks,” he says softly. “I needed to hear that.”
“Anytime,” Natasha replies, a rare smile tugging at her lips.
The apartment is quiet, the kind of warm, serene quiet that feels like a cocoon against the bustling world outside. It’s just the two of you tonight, the city’s hum dimmed by the thick curtains and the steady rhythm of the life you’ve built together. Dinner was simple but perfect—Steve made your favorite meal, and you couldn’t stop laughing when he got flour on his nose halfway through baking the dessert. Now, the dishes are done, the candles still flicker softly on the dining table, and the scent of warm vanilla lingers in the air.
Steve’s been acting a little off all evening. Not in a bad way, but in that telltale way that you’ve come to recognize over the years. He’s quieter than usual, thoughtful, his blue eyes darting to you and away as though he’s trying to solve a puzzle in his head. You’ve asked him twice if everything’s okay, and both times he’s smiled at you and said, “Of course,” before steering the conversation somewhere else.
You’re curled up on the couch now, a blanket draped over your lap as you sip the last of your wine. Steve sits beside you, his arm stretched along the back of the couch, his fingers occasionally brushing your shoulder. His gaze lingers on you, soft and reverent, like you’re the only thing in the world worth looking at.
“Steve,” you say, turning to him with a playful smile. “You’re staring.”
“Am I?” he replies, though he doesn’t look away. His lips curve into that small, lopsided grin you adore, and your heart does its familiar flip-flop in your chest.
“Yes, you are,” you tease, nudging his leg with your foot. “What’s on your mind?”
For a moment, he doesn’t answer. His hand moves to brush a strand of hair from your face, his touch gentle and deliberate, as though he’s memorizing the shape of you. Then he leans back slightly, his hand slipping into his pocket.
“There’s something I’ve been wanting to talk to you about,” he says, his voice calm but carrying a weight that makes your stomach flutter.
Your brows knit together as you sit up straighter. “Is everything okay?”
“It’s more than okay,” he says softly, and there’s a flicker of nervousness in his eyes now, a vulnerability that catches you off guard. He shifts, moving from the couch to kneel in front of you, his hands resting lightly on your knees.
Your heart skips. “Steve—”
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small, velvet box. The sight of it steals the breath from your lungs, and you clasp a hand over your mouth as tears instantly pool in your eyes.
“I know how you’re feeling right now,” Steve says gently, his voice steady despite the faint blush creeping up his neck. “And I need you to take a deep breath for me, okay?”
You try—really, you do—but the tears are already spilling over, and a choked laugh escapes you as you press your fingers to your lips. Steve smiles, his thumb brushing over your knee.
“That’s my girl,” he murmurs, his voice soft and full of affection. He opens the box, revealing a stunningly simple yet beautiful ring—a delicate gold band with a single, glittering diamond. It’s understated and timeless, just like him, and it’s so perfect you can barely breathe.
“Y/N,” he begins, his eyes never leaving yours. “I’ve loved you for seven years. From the first moment we met, I knew there was something about you, something I couldn’t let go of. You’ve taught me what it means to live in the present, to love with my whole heart, and to find joy in the little things.”
Your tears are flowing freely now, and you’re shaking your head as though you can’t believe what’s happening. Steve chuckles softly, his own eyes glistening.
“You’ve stood by me through everything,” he continues. “Through battles, through doubts, through all the times I’ve struggled to figure out where I fit in this world. You’ve always been my home, my safe place. And I can’t imagine spending another day without you by my side.”
He pauses, his voice catching slightly, and for a moment, you see a flicker of vulnerability in his expression. “I know how deeply you feel things, and I know this might be overwhelming for you. But I promise, sweetheart, you don’t have to say anything right away. I just need you to know how much I love you.”
He takes a deep breath, his gaze unwavering. “So, Y/N,” he says, his voice trembling just the tiniest bit. “Will you marry me?”
The question lands like a thunderclap in your chest. You’re crying so hard now that you can barely see him through the blur of your tears. You try to speak, to form words, but they come out in a jumble of half-sobs and gasps.
“Steve—oh my god—I—” You press your hands to your cheeks, overwhelmed by the flood of emotions coursing through you. “I—I don’t—”
Steve waits patiently, his hands still steady on your knees, his expression soft and understanding. “Take your time, sweetheart,” he says quietly.
“I love you,” you finally manage to choke out, your voice trembling. “So much. You don’t even know—I just—”
Steve smiles, the kind of smile that feels like sunlight breaking through clouds. “I think I have an idea,” he says softly.
You laugh through your tears, shaking your head as you try to pull yourself together. “Yes,” you finally gasp, your voice breaking on the word. “Yes, Steve. Of course, yes.”
His breath leaves him in a rush, and his smile widens into something radiant as he slips the ring from the box and gently slides it onto your finger. It fits perfectly, and you stare at it through your tears, your heart bursting with so much love you think you might actually explode.
“I love you,” Steve says, his voice thick with emotion as he pulls you into his arms. You cling to him, your face buried in his shoulder as you sob into his shirt. He holds you tightly, one hand cradling the back of your head, the other wrapped securely around your waist.
“I love you too,” you whisper against his neck, your voice muffled and shaky. “So much. I can’t believe this is real.”
“It’s real,” he murmurs, his lips brushing against your temple. “You’re mine, and I’m yours. Always.”
You pull back just enough to look at him, your tears still streaming but your smile brighter than the stars. “You’re too good to me,” you say, your voice trembling. “I don’t deserve you.”
Steve shakes his head, his thumb brushing away a stray tear from your cheek. “You deserve the world, Y/N,” he says simply. “And I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to give it to you.”
You laugh again, a soft, breathless sound, and Steve leans in to kiss you, his lips gentle but full of promise. It’s the kind of kiss that makes the world fall away, leaving only the two of you, wrapped in the kind of love that feels eternal.
When you finally pull apart, you rest your forehead against his, your hands cupping his face as you whisper, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Steve’s smile is soft, his eyes shining with unspoken emotion. “Me neither,” he says quietly. “Me neither.”
The morning sun streams through the windows, bathing the room in a golden light that feels impossibly warm and perfect. You stir under the rumpled sheets, the fabric soft against your bare skin, and the memories of the night before come rushing back. It had started tender, Steve’s hands moving over you with a reverence that left you breathless. But the sweetness had given way to something deeper, more passionate—an expression of love so consuming that it had left you both utterly undone.
Beside you, Steve shifts, his arm tightening around your waist as he presses a kiss to your shoulder. “Good morning, my beautiful bride-to-be,” he murmurs, his voice rough with sleep and full of affection.
Your heart clenches immediately, and before you can stop yourself, tears well up in your eyes. You press your hands to your face, a choked laugh escaping as you try—and fail—to keep it together.
“Oh no,” Steve says with a chuckle, propping himself up on one elbow. “I didn’t even say anything that emotional this time.”
“You called me your bride-to-be,” you manage to say through your tears, your voice trembling with joy. “How am I supposed to handle that, Steve?”
He laughs softly, his hand brushing over your hair as he pulls you closer. “Sweetheart, if this is how you’re going to react every time I call you that, I’m in trouble. Because I plan on saying it a lot.”
You let out a watery laugh, burying your face in his chest. His skin is warm and familiar, and his steady heartbeat beneath your cheek feels like home. “I’m sorry,” you mumble. “I don’t mean to cry so much. I’m just… so happy.”
“I know,” he says gently, his fingers trailing soothingly down your back. “And I love you for it.”
After a while, your tears subside, and you lift your head to meet his gaze. His blue eyes are soft and full of love, and the way he’s looking at you makes your breath catch. “Good morning,” you say softly, a shy smile tugging at your lips. “My handsome fiancé.”
His grin widens at your words, and he leans in to kiss you, slow and sweet. “I like the sound of that,” he says against your lips. “Fiancé. And soon, husband.”
You feel your cheeks heat, your heart fluttering in your chest. “I can’t believe this is real,” you say quietly, tracing a finger along his jaw. “I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and it’ll all be a dream.”
“It’s real,” Steve assures you, his tone steady and full of certainty. “You’re mine, and I’m yours. Nothing’s ever going to change that.”
The moment stretches between you, filled with a quiet, glowing warmth that feels too perfect to be real. But it is real, and as you lie there in his arms, you can’t imagine anything more perfect.
Eventually, Steve glances at the clock and sighs. “We should probably get up,” he says reluctantly. “The others are going to want to know.”
You groan, burying your face in the pillow. “Do we have to tell them today? Can’t we just stay here a little longer?”
Steve laughs, pulling the blanket off of you just enough to expose your shoulder. “As much as I’d love to keep you all to myself, they’re going to find out eventually. Might as well tell them now before Tony starts making bets.”
You sigh dramatically but can’t help smiling as you roll over to look at him. “Fine,” you say, your tone mock-annoyed. “But if I start crying again, it’s your fault.”
“I’ll take full responsibility,” he promises, leaning down to kiss your forehead.
An hour later, you’re dressed and ready, though your face is still a little puffy from all the happy tears. Steve holds your hand as you step into the elevator, his thumb brushing soothing circles over your skin. You feel nervous for some reason, though you know the team will be thrilled. It’s just that sharing something so personal, so precious, feels a little daunting.
“Hey,” Steve says softly, squeezing your hand. “It’s going to be fine. They love you.”
You nod, taking a deep breath as the elevator doors slide open to reveal the common room. The Avengers are scattered around the space, Tony sprawled on the couch with a cup of coffee, Natasha and Clint engaged in what looks like a very serious game of chess, and Bruce flipping through a book at the kitchen counter. Thor is munching on a Pop-Tart, his expression as cheerful as ever, while Sam lounges in a nearby chair, scrolling through his phone.
Tony is the first to notice you. “Well, well,” he says, setting his coffee down and smirking. “If it isn’t our golden couple. What’s with the glowing faces? Did Rogers finally tell you about his collection of antique baseball cards?”
“Tony,” Natasha says without looking up from the chessboard, her tone a mix of exasperation and amusement. “Let them talk.”
Steve clears his throat, his hand still firmly holding yours. “Actually,” he begins, glancing at you with a small, encouraging smile. “We have some news.”
At that, everyone looks up, their interest piqued. Clint leans back in his chair, raising an eyebrow. “This should be good.”
You feel your cheeks heat under their collective gaze, but Steve’s presence beside you keeps you grounded. “We’re engaged,” you blurt out, unable to keep the words in any longer. “Steve proposed last night.”
The room erupts. Natasha and Bruce smile warmly, their congratulations genuine and heartfelt. Thor lets out a booming laugh and claps Steve on the back so hard he nearly stumbles. Sam grins, shaking his head as he mutters, “About time.” Clint whistles, looking impressed, while Tony raises his coffee mug in a mock toast.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” Tony says, his smirk softening into something almost genuine. “Congrats, lovebirds. I guess this means I need to start planning the bachelor party.”
Steve groans, and you laugh despite yourself, leaning into his side as the team continues to shower you with affection and teasing remarks. It’s chaotic and overwhelming, but it’s also full of love, and as you look around the room, you realize just how lucky you are to have this family.
Later, when things have settled down, Steve pulls you aside, his hand resting lightly on your waist. “See?” he says softly, his blue eyes twinkling. “That wasn’t so bad, was it?”
You smile up at him, your heart full to bursting. “No,” you admit. “It wasn’t bad at all.”
He leans down to kiss you, his lips brushing against yours with a tenderness that makes your knees weak. “I love you, future Mrs. Rogers,” he murmurs, and once again, you find yourself wiping away happy tears.
The day has arrived. Months of planning, fittings, tastings, and a thousand little decisions have all led to this moment, and yet, standing in the bridal suite of the church, you feel like you might burst into tears before you even set foot down the aisle.
You’re wearing the dress you spent weeks obsessing over. It fits like a dream, a shimmering vision of white and lace that flows around you like a fairytale. Natasha, your bridesmaid—and perhaps the most patient person you’ve ever met—stands beside you, hands on your shoulders, trying to keep you from falling apart.
“Y/N,” she says firmly, her green eyes meeting yours in the mirror. “You’ve got to hold it together. You’re going to ruin your makeup if you start crying now.”
“I know, I know,” you say, fanning your face with trembling hands as you try to will away the tears. “It’s just… everything’s so perfect, and I’m so happy, and—oh my god, Nat, what if I trip?”
“You’re not going to trip,” she says, her voice calm but decisive. “You’ve practiced this. You’re wearing sensible heels. You’ve got Tony holding onto you like a lifeline. You’ll be fine.”
At the mention of Tony, you glance toward the door, where he’s pacing just outside. Your “man of honor” had insisted on walking you down the aisle, and though he’d tried to play it cool, you could see the emotion brimming behind his bravado. He’d barely been able to get through the rehearsal without tearing up, and now you’re both in danger of becoming sobbing messes before the ceremony even begins.
“I saw him wiping his eyes earlier,” you say with a sniffle, a hint of a laugh breaking through. “If he cries, I’m done for. I’ll start sobbing right there in the aisle.”
“Then don’t look at him,” Natasha advises, picking up a tissue and dabbing at the corners of your eyes. “Keep your eyes on Steve. That’s the goal, remember? Just make it to him without crying.”
At the mention of Steve, your chest tightens with a rush of love so overwhelming it’s almost too much to bear. You picture him standing at the end of the aisle, waiting for you, his blue eyes soft and full of adoration. The thought is enough to make you inhale sharply, and Natasha quickly steps in, snapping her fingers in front of your face.
“Focus,” she says sternly. “Breathe. You’ve got this.”
You nod, taking a deep, shaky breath as you try to calm yourself. “Okay. Okay, I can do this.”
Natasha gives you a small, approving smile. “That’s my girl.”
The door opens slightly, and Tony pokes his head in, his face immediately softening when he sees you. “Wow,” he says, his voice unusually quiet. “You look… wow.”
“Thanks, Tony,” you say, your voice wavering. “You’re going to make me cry.”
“Don’t you dare,” Natasha warns, pointing a finger at him. “I just got her under control.”
Tony steps into the room, straightening his tie as he tries to compose himself. “Okay, okay, no crying. But seriously, Y/N, you look… breathtaking. Steve’s going to lose it when he sees you.”
The lump in your throat grows, and you press a hand to your mouth, willing yourself not to cry. Tony steps closer, taking your hand in his and squeezing gently. “Hey,” he says softly. “You’re going to be amazing. And if you cry, who cares? It’s your wedding day. You get a free pass.”
You laugh through the tears threatening to spill, nodding as you squeeze his hand back. “Thanks, Tony.”
He grins, his usual bravado creeping back in. “Besides, if anyone’s going to cry, it’s me. I’m already a wreck. You’ll have to carry me down the aisle at this rate.”
Natasha rolls her eyes, but her smile is fond. “You two are a mess,” she says, shaking her head. “Come on, it’s time.”
Tony offers his arm, and you take it, your fingers trembling slightly as you hold on. The doors to the bridal suite swing open, and you catch a glimpse of the decorated aisle, lined with flowers and softly glowing candles. The music starts, and your heart pounds in your chest as you take your first step forward.
The church is full of familiar faces, but you barely register them. Your eyes are fixed on the man standing at the end of the aisle, his gaze locked onto yours. Steve looks devastatingly handsome in his tuxedo, his expression a mixture of awe and love that makes your knees weak.
As you and Tony make your way down the aisle, you hear him sniffle beside you. “Damn it,” he mutters, dabbing at his eyes with a handkerchief. “I said I wasn’t going to cry.”
You can’t help but laugh softly, your own tears threatening to spill again. But Natasha’s words echo in your mind, and you keep your focus on Steve, drawing strength from the love shining in his eyes.
Finally, you reach the altar, and Tony steps back, giving your hand to Steve with a small, emotional smile. Steve’s hands are warm as they take yours, and his voice is steady as he whispers, “You’re beautiful.”
And that’s it. The tears spill over, and you laugh through them, shaking your head as Steve gently brushes them away with his thumbs. “I’m sorry,” you whisper. “I told myself I wasn’t going to cry.”
“I don’t mind,” he says softly, his voice full of affection. “I love that you feel so much. It’s one of the things I love most about you.”
The ceremony begins, and though the tears continue to flow, they’re tears of joy, shared by more than just you and Tony. By the time you say “I do,” the entire room feels wrapped in the warmth of the love you and Steve share, a love that shines brighter than any tears.

Mona x Tina Toxic Yuri Headcanons because I’m a bad person 🫀🌸🔪🧁
Ya’ll can blame @dollsleeper for giving me the toxic yuri bug. I am officially a Tona shipper thanks to them XD
TW: references to sexual assault, stockholm syndrome, stalking and abuse
Tumblr media
☠️ Mona didn’t think much of Tina when she first laid eyes on her, she was just another piece of meat to be used in her art, what really made her fall in love with Tina was when she heard her scream. She heard so many screams before her and always took twisted pleasure in hearing the screams of her victims but Tina’s screams just hit different, it was like a beautiful song to her and she wanted to hear it forever. Ironically, Tina’s screaming was what saved her life because it made Mona do what she never did with any of her victims… she hesitated in killing her. Mona would have many lesbian thoughts about Tina since that fateful day, she often wondered how soft her hair must be and how much she yearned to smell the perfume on her body again.
☠️ Mona became completely obsessed with Tina after hearing that beautiful scream of her’s and would end up stalking her for the next two years, memorizing her schedule, occasionally stealing her belongings but she didn’t make a move on her until after watching her interview. Mona took Tina’s “once’ve you’ve been to hell, you don’t come back” quote as a sign that Tina wanted to come back to her, like a piece of her was still with Mona since that day and she was beckoning Mona to take her back… It was the most romantic thing Mona ever heard in her life.
☠️ Mona actually tries to make sure Tina is as comfortable as possible. She took her beautiful, bloodstained lace bedsheets with her to put over the dirty mattress she has Tina placed on, she actually cooks her food even if they don’t turn out right most of the time, she’ll cuddle up with her if she looks like she’s cold, she’ll check to see if the pretty pink collar she picked out for her isn’t too tight, she even bathes her semi-frequently.
☠️ Tina is constantly trying to fight off the warm, fuzzy feelings that Mona gives her. She doesn’t want to admit how much she melts when Mona touches her thigh, she hates how good she feels when Mona says things like “you inspire me so much” and “you’re so pretty when you cry”, she finds herself actually blushing when Mona compliments her. Every day is an inner war to stop herself from falling in love with the woman who killed everyone around her, dismembered her and now keeps her hostage in what looks and smells like a lived in sewer.
☠️ Tina hates herself for finding Mona so pretty, she’s a monster, one who killed her sister, her boyfriend and her mother, mutilated her, keeping her alive just to treat her like some kind of toy or pet… and yet she thinks her long, black hair is so pretty, her eyes so beautifully haunting, the expressions she makes when she paints those horrible portraits are strangely charming, that course yet oddly soothing voice that makes her feel a strange combo of fear and comfort. She just can’t keep Mona out of her head and she hates it.
☠️ Mona loves to doll up Tina, dressing her up in pretty outfits and doing her makeup, trying out different hairstyles, she would even do her nails if she still had hands. Tina hates this but she’s learned not to fight back, having come to fear making Mona angry and besides, every day, against her better judgement she likes Mona’s games of dress up a tiny bit more. Mona knows this too, remembering the time when Tina blushed after Mona said she had good fashion sense.
☠️ Mona and Tina surprisingly have a lot of common. They both have a major sweet tooth, they both have a love for nature even though Tina is a deer girl and flower enjoyer while Mona is a rat and bug lady who collects molds, spores and fungus, they both have artistic talent and an interest in the arts (Tina being a knitter and sewer) and they even have a shared quirk in a tendency to play around with their hair when bored or anxious.
☠️ Tina is bisexual but she’s kept her sexuality a secret from her mother since she’s a conservative christian type and she feared she wouldn’t accept her if she found out, Jack and Flora both knew however. It can be surmised that Mona is pan since she has a very “a hole is a hole” mentality when it comes to sex but she wouldn’t identify as pansexual since she doesn’t really care for labels.
☠️ Shockingly, Mona hasn’t gone too far in forcing herself upon Tina. She could easily subject her to her darkest, sexual fantasies like she has done to so many others and you better believe she’s had some real devious thoughts and yet the worst she’s done to her is groping/squeezing her breasts and thighs on a regular basis or licking her face. Tina of course is horrified and disgusted by these acts and yet… why does her face and nethers feel so warm when she does it? And why does she whimper and mew the way she does when Mona bites her neck and shoulders even when she draws blood? And why does she always kind of look forward to when Mona cuddles up to her even when she’s soaking in blood?…
☠️ Bill is VERY jealous of all the attention Tina gets from Mona and is always thinking about murdering and getting rid of her so that he can be Mona’s “favorite” again but has enough smarts left to know that he would be severely punished, maybe even killed if he did so he has no choice but to grit and bare it. His patience will always be tested when Mona talks about her while they’re out murdering like when Mona finds some kind of accessory or article of clothing and will ask Bill “do you think Tina would like this?”. Bill will scare the shit out of Tina when Mona isn’t around in a vain attempt at revenge against her.

Oliver Aiku x fem reader
Word count: around 5,000
Notes: female reader, implied to be shorter than him, swearing, sexual innuendos, mean comments, protective Oliver
Author notes: Heyyyyy two posts in one day? You know it. But anyways I have been so down bad for this guy since I've read the manga. Now that he's being animated only makes it worse haha. Also sorry I didn't really describe the game, I played hockey for 10 years and don't actually know much about soccer. Anyways I hope you enjoy. Feel free to like, comment, and follow!! Also enjoy this pic of him.
Tumblr media
A soft light comes in through the blinds which causes you to wake up from your slumber. You blink a couple times to get use to the newfound light in the room then turn your head to see what time it is. Your alarm clock says it is 6:45 which makes you peer down to see a mix of blue and green fluffy hair laying on your chest.
Today is your first time that you will be going to Oliver’s game as his girlfriend. It still blows your mind that you are dating THE Oliver Aiku, lying in HIS bed cuddling with him, in HIS apartment. You are a little nervous though because you know how crazy his fanbase is and how obsessed they are with him. You get it because he is a great soccer player, very funny, and very handsome. But you’ve seen the stuff they say about him and how many women try to get with him.
But enough thinking about that, it is a big day. Oliver has not stopped talking about it since he got his game schedule for the season. You look at the alarm clock again to see it say 6:50. You two set the alarm for 7, so he still has some more time to get sleep.
You decide to run your hands through his hair to pass the time. It is unfair though how soft his hair is. He takes about a 7-minute max shower unless you’re in there with him but still how does he get it so soft? You check the clock one more time to see that it is about to start going off with the alarm, so you untangle your hands from his hair to turn it off.
You twist a little bit to get out of Oliver’s hold so you can turn the alarm off, but you hear a groan, and two strong arms wrap you up again and pull you back. He goes to cuddle in-between your neck and shoulder planting light kisses on your neck. You giggle because his stubble and light kisses are making you ticklish.
“Oliver baby, you gotta get up.” You say between giggles trying to push him off of you.
“Don’t wanna. Don’t wanna stop cuddling.” He rasps out, holding you even tighter.
“Oliver. You have a game today and I am going. Remember?” He shoots up to hover above you and stares at you a second before jumping up out of bed and yelling, “THE GAME IS TODAY!!! COME ON GET UP!! LET’S GET READY.”  As he is pulling your arm to get you out of bed.
“Hey, I was the one that told you to get up first.” You grumbled as you get out of bed thanks to Oliver pulling you out of it. You both walk into the bathroom to get ready. You both brush your teeth then Oliver quickly walks out of the bathroom not saying a thing. You brush it off to him doing a pregame routine you didn’t know about. You and Oliver didn’t get together until right after his season ended and you went to his games but again you weren’t together, so you didn’t know if he had a routine.
Just as you were about to start getting your hair ready Oliver came back into the bathroom with his jersey from last season in his hand. He came up to set the jersey by you and told you to wear it then gave you a kiss on the cheek then walked out of the bathroom again.
You stood there shocked but ultimately happy. You didn’t know what you were going to wear but he solved your problem, which you are very thankful for. You decide to get dressed before continuing getting ready. You walk back out to see Oliver dressed up super nicely. He is wearing a white button up with the first couple buttons unbuttoned then a pair of black dress pants.
He turns to you giving a smile, “I’ll make us some breakfast. Take your time getting ready.” Then he walks out of his room to the kitchen. You walk to the closet then start digging for your black skirt. Once you found it you get dressed. You tuck the jersey a bit into the skirt because his jersey is so big on you.
You walk into the bathroom to finish getting ready. You decide to keep your hair simple so you can still see his last name. You then start putting on your makeup, just as you’re finishing up putting your mascara on you hear Oliver calling for you. You put all your makeup away then head to the kitchen.
He kept it simple with some yogurt bowls filled with your guys’ favorite toppings. You two sit down and eat while you ask questions about the game. He answers all your questions, explaining everything simply so you can understand. Once you guys finish you grab the dishes and go to wash them. Oliver walks back into his room saying he needs to grab something.
You finish up the dishes then go put on your pair of converse. You end up looking at yourself in the hallway mirror Oliver has close to his front door. You hear Oliver’s loud footsteps coming towards you indicating he put on his dress shoes. You’re exciting to see him all dressed up because he barely ever dresses up. But whenever he does, he looks incredibly handsome.
He comes up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist and makes eye contact with you in the mirror. “You look better in that jersey than I do. But I have something to make your look even better.” Oliver release one of his arms from around your waist to reach into his pocket to grab a necklace case and holds it out to you. “Go ahead love, open it.”
You grab the necklace case and open it up to see an expensive silver necklace with a number 2 charm on it. You look up to meet his eyes in the mirror and start to freak out, “Oh my god, Oliver this is beautiful. This looks so expensive though, are you sure- “
Oliver quickly cuts you off, “Don’t you start with that. I got it for you to show you my appreciation. We may have only been dating for a couple months but even when we were friends you have supported me so much. Now that you’re my girlfriend I want to show you off.” He goes to grab the necklace from the case then throws the case on the ground so he can put the necklace on you.
You move your hair out of the way so he can easily put it on. Oliver tells you he’s all done and you let go of your hair so you can look at the necklace. You turn around and wrap your arms around his neck and he quickly wraps his arms around your waist, “Thank you for the necklace, Oliver, it’s truly beautiful.” You then pull him down so you can give him a kiss, he eagerly returns it while tightening his grip on your waist.
You pull away and he follows your lips. “Sorry baby we gotta go so we can pick up Sendou and Aoi. But hey Oliver, we should take a photo. In honor of your first game of us being a couple.”
Oliver quickly agrees and says you should do a mirror selfie. He pulls out his phone from his other pocket then spins you around and wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you towards him. You wrap an arm around his back then place one on his chest and kick your leg up. You smile at the mirror as he puts up his to take the photo. He takes a couple then lowers his hand to your butt and grabs it. You look up at him and he leans down to kiss you while getting a couple photos of you while in that position.
You guys separate and decide it is time to head out to pick up Sendou and his girlfriend. Oliver goes to grab his keys, and you go to grab your purse. Oliver then leads you to the parking garage where his car is parked. Oliver opens your door to let you get in, once you’re in he closes the door and walks around to his side to hop in. Once he’s buckled his put the car in reverse and puts one hand behind your seat sending you a wink and continues to back out of his spot.
Once you guys are on your way to Sendou’s apartment you start getting a little more nervous. You and Oliver haven’t made your relationship public because of his fangirls and the press. Also, you don’t know how people would even react to the news that the womanizer captain of the U-20 Japan National team in a relationship with a nobody. You start to bounce your leg due to nerves, Oliver seems to notice and put his hand on your thigh.
“Now what’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
You quickly dismiss him, “It’s nothing don’t worry.” Oliver pulls up to Sendou’s apartment and parks. He sends him a quick text then turns his full attention to you. He grabs your chin to have you face him. “You’re nervous. Is it about this being your first game as my girlfriend? Because if it is don’t worry. I don’t care if people find out. I will defend and protect you against everyone. Just enjoy yourself today, okay?”
Oliver really knows how to comfort you he really made you calm down. You give him a smile and say, “Okay, I promise I’ll enjoy the game today. I am really excited though.” He leans in to give you a quick kiss and smile, “I am even more excited, trust me.”
You then hear the back door of the car open and see Sendou and his girlfriend slide in. You turn to them, “Hi Sendou, hi Aoi. How are you guys?” Oliver drives away once they are buckled then Aoi responds. “Hey! We are good. Excited for another season of watching these guys. Now since Oliver finally made you his girlfriend, I can watch the games with my bestie in the close people private box.”
Oliver quickly responds, “Just so you know I invited her to watch the games in the private box but since her bestie said everyone brings their girlfriends there, she got nervous so always declined.”
Aoi gasps your name, “Is this true?!?!”
“Oliver, you jerk.” He smirks at you and gives you a wink before focusing on the road again. “But yeah, didn’t want Oliver to get dragged into random shit with press. He doesn’t need that. Let’s leave that in the past now, I’ll be there now and hopefully for a long time.”  Sendou finally pitches into the conversation, “I don’t think he will break up with you ever. Dude is down bad for you. If he does break up with you, he is a dick, and I’ll kick his ass.”
Oliver glares at him through the rearview mirror but then quickly looks at you, “Yeah, you’ll be there till I am done playing soccer. Never going to break up with you baby. Plus, Sendou I’d kick your ass no matter the fight.”
Sendou goes to refute the claim, but Aoi puts an arm on him and shakes her head, “Don’t even try. We all know he’d beat you. I love you but Oliver is much stronger than you and can literally fight.” Everyone breaks up into laugher besides Sendou who is now pouting with his arms crossed staring out the window.
After a couple more minutes of light conversation Oliver pulls up to the stadium. Once he’s parked everyone gets out of the car and heads to the entrance. Oliver and Sendou have to go a different way to get to the locker room, so you have to part ways outside. Sendou drags Aoi away to say goodbye.
Oliver just turns to face you and pulls you into a tight hug. Being this close to him you can smell his rich cologne which makes you cuddle deeper into him. He holds you a bit longer until loosens his grip a bit to be able to look at you. He leans down to connect your foreheads and stares deep into your eyes. You decide to talk first, “Good luck Oliver, you’ll do great I know it. I can’t wait to watch you.”
Oliver smiles, “Thank you my love.” You guys stare at each other a little longer until you two hear Sendou calling for Oliver. Oliver sighs and closes the gap and gives you a deep kiss. He pulls back a bit to look at you again, “I’ll see you later. I’ll come and get you from the box after the game so stay there.”
You nod, “Got it, I’ll see you later. I love you.”  “I love you more.” He gives you a quick forehead kiss then jogs over to Sendou to walk in. Aoi then walks up to you asking if you’re ready to head in. You shake your head and follow her. As you guys are walking you two can tell Oliver and Sendou got to the press and fans because you can hear all the cheers of their names.
You didn’t realize how long the walk was until you get to the box. Aoi turns to you and asks, “Are you nervous?”
You shake your head and look away, “Yeah. They pan the camera to the box often, so I don’t know how people are going to react. I just don’t want to get made fun of or have Oliver get hate. But Oliver already told me he would protect me from anything that happens, and I know he will. Just can’t fully shake the nerves you know?”
Aoi looks at you with an understanding expression, “I completely get it. Oliver’s whole womanizer personality doesn’t help. But people should be happy he’s settling down. If they judge that’s their problem and they are just jealous. Just so you know all the guys and the girlfriends you’ll meet today will stand by you two. So don’t worry and just enjoy the game!”
“I will!!” More of Oliver’s teammates girlfriends are coming into the private box. Aoi takes the time to introduce you to all of them to make you feel more comfortable. You all get into conversations then you start to hear everyone cheering indicating that the teams are walking out to the field. You and all the girls walk to sit down to start watching the game.
You see the U-20 team start to walk out seeing Oliver lead them. Your heart swells full of pride because you are so happy for him. He is so dedicated to this sport and team. Seeing him lead them is such an incredible thing for you. You pull out your phone to take some pictures.
They do the anthem then go to midfield to talk to the refs. You snap more pictures because this is just so exciting. Your phone is going to be filled with many pictures of the game. You hear the whistle which then indicates the game is beginning.
The game is intense and a close match up. Both teams are playing well but national team is getting more chances to score. The first half is really keeping everyone one on the edge of their seats. Oliver has been playing great! He has been stopping a lot of plays and have even stopped a couple of goals. You are so proud of him. The whistle blows indicating its half time. You see the teams walk back off the field to their respective locker rooms.
You turn to Aoi and decide to get some food that has been provided to the box. As you guys eat you two talk about the game and start to say how you two are curious on how the second half is going to play out. The game is tied right now, whoever scores first is going to set the pace for the rest of the game.
You and Aoi try more foods that are offered then once again hear the cheers of the crowd indicating that they are coming back to the field. Both teams get set up again, then the whistle goes off. Hopefully they score in the second half.
Japan had multiple chances to score but couldn’t get the ball in the net. There is only a minute left and the other team’s offense breaks most of the defensive line leaving just Oliver and the goalkeeper. Oliver recognizes the play the ball carrier is going to make and runs to intercept the pass. Once Oliver stops it everyone cheers loudly. There is only a minute left so Oliver sends the ball up field to Sendou to handle the rest.
Sendou receives the pass from Oliver, then lets off a hard shot which ends up going in. The crowd roars while the whistle goes off indicating the end of the game. You and Aoi turn to each other cheering and give each other a big hug to celebrate. You both turn your attention to the field.
That’s where you see Oliver and Sendou running to each other to celebrate the win. After their hug and pats they turn to the box and wave to you two. You and Aoi wave back. You decide to blow Oliver a kiss which he catches and holds close to his heart. You are so in love with this man.
The teams shake hands then walk off the field. You and Aoi stay in the box while the other girlfriends leave. Aoi tells you how her parents are picking her and Sendou up so they can go out to dinner together. They are going to a new restaurant you have been wanting to try so you tell her to let you know how it is.
You then feel something placing itself on your head and then you hear a deep voice “Let you know what?”
You turn to see Oliver smiling down at you and you launch yourself at him. He catches you easily while letting out a deep laugh. “Oliver, you did great!! That last play was INCREDIBLE!! I am so proud of you.”
He holds you tighter, “Thank you baby. I am glad you were here watching.”
Sendou walks in and tells Aoi that they should leave so they don’t keep her parents waiting. You all say bye to each other then you turn your attention back to Oliver, who is already looking at you. “Finally, they are gone so I can do this.”
He grabs the back of your head and pulls you into a deep bruising kiss. Oliver pushes his tongue past your lips to connect with yours. You follow his lead letting your tongues dance together. You guys keep going but before it gets heavier, you sadly have to breathe so you two separate.  Oliver connects your foreheads again while you two take heavy breathes, “Man I have been waiting to do that since you blew me that kiss.”
You giggle and give him a little peck and quickly pull away. You reach your hands up to hold his face, “Well you definitely deserved that kiss as a reward after the game you played.”
“Do I get another reward?” Oliver asks as he reached down to squeeze your butt with both of his hands.
“I’ll give you one later tonight.” He cheers as you give you a forehead kiss. Oliver takes your hand to lead you back to the car. He takes a different way than Aoi took you so maybe this is a quicker way.
He leads you down this long hallway, he opens the door at the end of it. You hear him curse under his breath and you try to peek around him to see what is going on, but he tries to keep you behind him. He turns his head slightly, “Baby hold tight onto my hand and don’t let go. Keep your head down till we get to the car, okay? I don’t want the press to overwhelm you.”  You nod and hold onto his hand tighter. Oliver pulls you past the door and starts walking fast. It is hard to keep up with him because he is so tall, so one of his steps are equal to four of yours.
The press is getting in his face asking him questions like, “Is this your girlfriend?” “Is this the person you were waving to?” “What does she do for a living?”
Then you hear his fangirls say, “Oliver she is so ugly, why are you dating her?” “Oliver break up with her and date me!” “Why would you date a nobody?”
Those comments hurt, Oliver is getting mad, and you can tell because his grip is getting tighter. You are trying so hard not to cry and focus on keeping up with Oliver, but it is getting harder. He is walking too fast and you’re too stuck in your head due to the comments everyone is saying.
The press ends up getting in between you too and cutting off your grip. You get pushed back by the press separating you and Oliver more. You can’t see him because all the cameras and press are too tall and bulky to see through. So, you try to call out to him.
Oliver is looking for you, but he can’t see you because you are so much shorter than the damn press. He hears you call out to him, so he looks in the direction he heard you. He sees the press shove you out of the way making you almost fall and tell you to shut up and that made him see red.
Oliver loudly yells “Get the fuck out of my face and way.” He pushes through the press to get to you. He sees you almost in tears and it breaks his heart. Once he gets to you, he grabs your hand again and starts walking to the car again. He pushes the press out of the way. One of the press decided to really push his buttons, “Oliver there is no reason to push us, we just want some answers.”
Oliver snaps his neck to look at the guy who had the audacity to tell him that, “Yes there is. You fucking pushed my girlfriend, told her to shut up, say all these mean things about her, and shove shit in her face. I am not going to answer your questions or be nice to you guys if you cannot respect me and my privacy. All I want is to go home with my girlfriend to relax after a very tough game. So, I am going to say this once. Get out of our way right now.”
You have never seen Oliver so mad, but it warms your heart that he is so protective over you. You two start to walk again until that press guy decides to open his mouth again, “We just want to know if the womanizer Oliver has settled down or this is just a random fling.” Oh, that guy definitely made the wrong move.
You are shocked Oliver did not snap his neck with how quick he looked at the press again. “What the fuck did I just say? I am not answering your guys’ questions.”
“Oh, so she is a fling?”
“She is not a fling. She is my girlfriend that I love with all my heart and I have plans to be with her the rest of my life. I want all my fans to respect that and if you don’t then I don’t consider you my fan or want you as my fan. Now that you have your answer get the hell out of our way!”
You two finally get pass the press and into his car, he quickly reverses and drives away. The car ride is dead silent on the way back. Your phone goes off and you see Aoi texted you.
Are you okay? We saw the news.
Yeah, I am okay. Oliver isn’t getting in trouble or hated on, right? No. Everyone is on his side, what they did to you two was unacceptable. I am so sorry that happened.
It’s okay, I am just glad he was there.
Me too. How is he now?
He still is really mad. We haven’t spoken the entire car ride, but I get it. I want him to calm down. He also went through a lot especially after a game.
Makes sense. I’ll talk to you later. I am glad you are okay.
Once you send her a talk to you later text you Oliver pulled into the parking garage of his apartment. He parked and got out of the car and walked over to your side. He opened the door and held out his hand. You give him your hand and helped you out of the car. His grip on your hand is much lighter now compared to how he was holding it during the whole situation.
The walk back to his apartment is still quiet. You two walk into his apartment, drop off the keys, your purse then go to take off your shoes. Oliver then takes your hand and leads you to his bedroom. He sits on the edge of the bed and brings you to stand between his knees.
He looks up to you with such a sad look in his eyes and it breaks your heart you start to cry not being able to look at him, “Oliver, I am so sorry. I didn’t know they would separate us; I am sorry I let go of your hand.”
“Baby look at me.” He puts his hand on your cheek to have you look at him, “This is not your fault at all. They pushed you and separated us. They also said mean things to you and about you, that is not your fault at all. They were rude for no reason, and I am sorry you had to go through that. I promise you won’t have to go through something like that.”
“Oliver, it’s not your fault. You did not expect that and like you said they are the ones that were rude. You stood up for me and I cannot be more thankful for that. You have such a good heart, and I am so lucky that I can call you my boyfriend. Plus, Aoi told me everyone is defending you and dragging those people through the dirt.”
“Well, I am relieved to hear people aren’t dragging me through the dirt for that. But it is me who is lucky that you are my girlfriend.” He wraps his arms tightly around you and pulls you back to lay on top of him on his bed. “I love you so much.” “I love you so much too Oliver. Also, I have plans to be with you the rest of my life as well.” You feel him smile against you and kiss your forehead. You two stay like that a little bit still calming down from the situation. You start to feel sleepy, but you have an idea to cheer you and Oliver up. You push yourself off of him and head to the bathroom.
Oliver looks distressed, “Where are you going? We were in the middle of cuddling.”
You look back at him, “Oh so you don’t want your other prize? Well, I guess you don’t have to join me in the shower.”
Oliver pops up off the bed, “No no, I’m coming.” He then pushes you into the bathroom, “Let me show you how much I love you.” If there is one thing you realized today; Oliver ALWAYS stick to his word.

I've Finally Figured Out Why Curly's Skin-Thing Frustrates Me
I was talking to someone earlier about how people sometimes refer to Curly as "corpse-like" and why that might be offensive to burn victims, and I was trying to explain why some people might think that way. I think after that conversation, I was finally able to articulate what frustrated me about Curly's burn situation. He doesn't look like he actually has burn scars.
Here are some real life 3rd degree burn scars (sorry if some of them have a before and after photo, they were the best I could get):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's also a diagram of burn severity just as extra stuff:
Tumblr media
They appear very different from Curly's scars. They are more...wrinkly doesn't seem like the right word? They do not seem to have straight lines that flow in a specific pattern, and are more vein-like than anything. A lot of them also have a more regular skin tone. Whether pink or not, they are not the shade of deep crimson red that Curly's are. They overall look completely different in many ways. One might argue that different types of burns and different degrees cause different scarring, and I agree with that. In fact, having looked into burn scarring a bit more, I believe that Curly's scars may be 4th degree or higher, as it went past the skin.
Let's look at a few:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have found an example of a real world burn survivor with some similarities to Curly:
youtube
(Honestly really liked this video, especially since it taught me a bit more about burn survivors when I first watched it a few years ago)
He, like Curly, had a disfigured mouth and eyes and whatnot. It shows that some of Curly's injuries are realistic, such as his mouth and probably his eyelid. However, his burns still look very different. All of them look much more similar to each other than they do to Curly.
In general, I have not yet found an example of burn scarring that looks similar to IRL scarring. I believe that's one aspect of this, but there is a second, bigger part. The big issue here isn't just that Curly doesn't look like he has burn scars, but that he does look similar to one of those medical textbook muscle diagrams.
Tumblr media
His burns are a lot more fleshy and have a certain pattern to them that regular burns (even the most severe ones) don't. They follow lines across the body and take on a certain shape, whereas usually burn scars aren't quite like that. In face, the look a lot like the actual muscle structure:
Tumblr media
(The bandages looking a bit like bones certainly doesn't help with that)
On top of it all (and this has always drove me insane), he is specifically described as having no skin. Even the most severe burn survivors have something. They have skin, or at least some sort of layer between the muscles and the outside.
According to all my research (and trust me, I tried), it is physically impossible to live without skin. You will die.
To me, Curly doesn't appear to have actual burn scars or even look like he was burned. Hell, before I knew anything about the game, I never would have guessed he had been burned. Instead, he looks more like his skin was peeled off, not burnt off.
A metaphor I used while talking to the other person is that Curly is like seeing a character who supposedly broke their spine, but then you learn that their entire spine actually disintegrated into nothing and they have literally no spinal cord. And you're like "wtf how is this bitch still alive" because you can live with a damaged spine but you cannot live with zero spine at all.
People don't think of him as a burn victim because there are no burn scars. In fact, I often forget he's a burn victim because he doesn't appear to have any actual burn wounds. Like, all his wounds don't look like burns of any kind. They look more like those medical textbooks. Thus, people see him as "corpse-like" because no living person with burn scars looks like him (at least, not that I can find). Because he literally looks more like a diagram of muscle structure than he does a burn victim. His design is unrealistic in a way that make people horrified.
He literally, in every possible way has no skin.
And that is why so many people are freaked out by him.

W101's Advanced Combat 102: School Identity and The Roshambo
Over the past few years, Wizard101 has been trying to add more variety to gameplay by introducing Advanced Combat, which focuses less on raw damage and more on hanging effects, the additional ‘things’ that can be present in battle.
In a previous post, I went over each hanging effect and their symbol, as an intro to reading spells. This post will dive further into the inner workings of Advanced Combat's logic. It's somewhat of a tangent from the topic of learning how to read the spells, but I believe it's a necessary one. Simply reading spells is one thing; understanding why they work the way they do is another, and far more important in my opinion.
School Identity
In Advanced Combat, each school is represented by a hanging effect, except for Balance, because Balance is All Things. As such, when we talk about schools interacting with other schools (via synergy or countering), what's really happening is that the spells are interacting with the hanging effects associated with other schools.
Tumblr media
This graphic is provided in-game by the prequest, and it is a higher-res and less comprehensive version of the post I made earlier.
Each school's representative hanging effect is based partly on its previous identities, the ways each school worked before.
Fire's hanging effect is Damage over Times, as it's always been since the game first came out with its iconic DoT spells like Fire Elf, Heck Hound, Fire Dragon, and Rain of Fire.
Ice's hanging effect is Positive Wards, derived from Ice always being characterized as the tank school and getting more defensive utility than any other school (Tower Shield, Legion Shield, Frozen Armor).
Storm's hanging effect is Positive Charms, easily remembered by the most infamous wizard101 player archetype Wolf Stormblade.
Life's hanging effect is Heal over Times, because Life has always been the healer school. Think back to the 1-pip Sprite spell.
Myth's hanging effect is Negative Wards, and it's certainly the most changed from how it used to play, partly because Myth has had So many different gimmicks over the years that aren't hanging effects.
Death's hanging effect is Negative Charms, since its old-school primary mechanic of draining HP isn't a hanging effect. An easy way to remember Death as the Weakness school is to remember its utility spells of Plague, Virulent Plague, Infection, and Bad Juju.
Roshambo
Rather than having pairs of schools that are both super-effective against each other (Fire/Ice, Storm/Myth, Life/Death), each of the two Triads (i.e., Element and Spirit) has a rock-paper-scissors dynamic going on now. This system was first introduced in Beastmoon, and introduces an updated version of the School Wheel:
Tumblr media
However, while this graphic is good enough for Beastmoon, I believe it can't be used to explain Advanced Combat's system unless you're already familiar with Roshambo. So I will be making my own graphics to introduce and break down the Advanced Combat Roshambos.
First, we have the Elemental Triad of Fire, Ice, and Storm.
Tumblr media
Storm douses Fire, and Storm's immediate and hard-hitting attacks overpower Fire's slower overtime method.
Fire melts Ice, and one turn of a DoT activating can remove the shields Ice puts up and leave the Ice user vulnerable to the remainder of the DoT's damage.
Ice freezes Storm, and a Shield can block most of the damage from an otherwise buffed-up Storm hit.
Then we have the Spirit triad.
Tumblr media
Death ends Life, and Death's many Negative Charms can hinder Life's ability to heal or attack.
Life surpasses Myth, and Life is able to heal back the extra damage that Myth would do with its traps.
Myth conquers Death, and Myth's traps can make up the lost damage that Death's weaknesses give.
And when we put the two triads together, we see relationships between Element and Spirit schools form:
Tumblr media
Death withers Storm, and Death's Negative Charms overpower Storm's Positive Charms.
Storm washes away Life, and Storm's immediate damage can knock out a target before they can try to heal it back.
Life survives Fire, and Life is able to heal back the gradual damage that Fire gives.
Fire burns Myth (think the Library of Alexandria), and Fire's overtimes can whittle away at Myth's traps the same way they plow through Ice's shields.
Myth shatters Ice, and Myth's infamous double-hits of old and trap spam of new can overpower Ice's defenses. (Think also of the old spell Shatter, which can remove multiple shields from a person)
Ice survives Death (think of prehistoric animals being preserved in glaciers), and Ice's defenses can keep Death from draining enough health to keep themselves alive.
Each school is able to counter two other schools, but can also be countered by two other schools. Except of course for Balance, which sits in the center of the wheel and has no arrows pointing to it. It doesn't directly counter any one school, but can't be fully countered by any one school.
A Note About Astrals
Auras (both positive and negative) aren't as immediately representative of any of the main seven schools. However, they are closer to some schools than others.
Tumblr media
Star is situated inside the triad of Storm, Life, and Death. Following this, the developers have begun to add Auras as supplementary parts of Life and Death's identities, with Life getting Positive and Death getting Negative.
We can see this new association with Spellweaving. If you weave into Life or Death, your exclusive weaving buff is an Aura that increases the damage of your main school and Life/Death damage.

Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.
Kamala 2024!
If you weren't going to vote Democratic in this election before Biden dropped out you're a dorkass loser who does not care about any of the issues you're yammering about here and also a fundamentally bad person, and I hope you get run over by a bus.
But you got one thing right in all of this gibberish, Kamala 2024.
#personal#answered#anonymous#i mean let's be clear here no president is gonna attempt to be progressive ever again within my lifetime#because joe biden tried to do like 25% of that and got ZERO fucking credit#he did so much on healthcare on reform on loans on so many social issues and for all his litany of failings on i/p#he has been distinctly harsher on netanyahu than a good chunk of dems and certainly the entire republican party#for the first time since i was four we are not involved in any wars as americans and that is thanks to joe biden#but the thing is that he gets no credit for any of it!#him pulling out of afghanistan caused his approvals to tank in a way that never recovered#and leftists gave him FUCK ALL for it#they gave him nothing they just continued whining that even tho he cancelled a bajillion in student loans#he didn't actually cancel a QUADRILLION dollars so both parties are the same and voting is the most arduous task known to man#no democrat who is running is going to forget that catering to leftist/progressive policies gets them zero leeway with those supporters#that it not only tanks numbers but you still get constant haranguing about it anyway#so they're not gonna do it#we are gonna get fuckall for at least a good fifty years#and anything we get will be utterly in SPITE of people like you anon it will happen in spite of everything you've done#mostly because of people like me and mine who understand that voting is the bare minimum#and that for the democratic process to work the way you want it to you need to participate and not pitch a fucking fit#like a four year old who was told they can't go to disney this weekend#like i know you ratfuckers are happy this played out because this is all a game to you and you don't actually care#but that's why i've got zero faith in you people and why i'm glad it's my kind of folks#actual die hard democrats who have always been hardliners for supporting democrats in every possible election#who are picking up the slack and donating to harris and supporting her agenda#which is the exact same as biden's because she's his vice president and they share they same platform#because that's what they were both running on! twice!#anyway fuck you please feel free to find a necktie and test how tall your doorframe is

I thought i escaped sims 4 but it's dragged my dumbass back again.
I hate this game. I need so many mods just to be able to just to fix it so i can play without being frustrated. but no matter how frustrated i get, i keep coming back : /
Anyways! Like my new little me? (i forgot what they're called. Avatar? *Shrug*) I'll put some more stuff (and doodles) about them under the cut
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're a candle! The body and oversize hoodie are all the wax and the undercut ponytail is the little flame (like Ember from Danny Phantom lol). Her feet are kinda goopy and her hands never show b/c the sleeves of the hoodie drip over them (sometimes driping off completely.)
i got kinda bored with my old one (drawing me but purple) so they got a little upgrade for my silly little personal doodles.
That is all : )

it is genuinely amazing to me that after YEARS of it being a common thing that there are people who quite literally refuse to comprehend the existence of roleplay, characters, and storylines in mcyt. some of whom who will even argue that you're the one incorrect about this.
