THE ART DECO BANDEAU
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE ART DECO BANDEAU
The Art Deco Bandeau was amongst the jewels gifted to Princess Lara, Countess of Boykins by her father, the late King George I, on her wedding day. It was made by Hammond & Co in 2021 of diamond black onyx, coral, and pearls, to an open bandeau design with the open band of cluster motifs boasting a natural pearl border mounted in platinum.
Her Royal Highness first wore the tiara to the 2023 South Marvanian State Banquet, and loaned it to her cousin, the Countess of St Peters, for her 2024 official portrait.

CORONATION PART 2: THE PROCESSION
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "At 10:00 AM the gates of Buckingsim Palace opened signaling the monarch is ready to depart. The balusters will be lowered just before the royal guard approaches. The Procession is about to begin and will follow a direct route to the Abbey."
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: "Live at Westsimster Abbey, Hallie Howell is awaiting the arrival of the Royal family."
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "Hallie, how is it?"
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: Hi, Shon and Cameron! It's glorious here! There is such a feeling of newness in the air. It's palpable.
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "We can feel it!"
Shon Gableton [SNN]: "The balusters were just lowered at the palace, and the Queen's procession is in view. Let's head back there."
- - - - - ROYAL PROCESSION - - - - -
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Royal Guards lead the King's State Coach, carrying Queen Katherine I and Rainier, Prince consort. The coach is being pulled by 4 white Stallions.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: The King's State Coach was first used at the coronation of King Albert I in 1784 and has since been used to transport every monarch to their coronation. The coach has taken the longer route from Buckingsim Palace, down The Mall, since the coronation of King Edward I in 1888.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Rounding The Lara-Leigh Memorial, the Queen and Prince consort wave to the adoring crowd.
Shon Gableton [SNN]: This is our first glimpse of Her Majesty wearing the State Diamond Diadem, made in 1784 for King Albert I. Since King Albert I, the Diadem has only been worn by Windenburg queens, whether they reigned or were consorts. It was first worn by Queen Isabella, consort to Albert I, when she ruled as Regent from 1828-1832, after the Kings death.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Just behind The Queen's coach, in The Rolls Royce State Limousine, is The Queen Mother, The Prince of Brindleton Bay, and The Princess Grace. The little prince was expected to be amongst Royal Pages but insiders say The Queen preferred Maids of Honor.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: 136 years later, history is made as Queen Katherine I travels down The Mall preparing to be crowned this nations first Queen!
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Let's head to Westsimster Abbey as the royal family arrives. Hallie?
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: Yes, Cameron. The Royal Family has just arrived! The crowd erupted in a loud roar upon seeing four black Rolls Royce's, bearing the royal flag, approaching carrying senior members of the royal family.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Guards stood at attention while the Queen and Prince consort's procession passed.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The tomb of the unknown soldier sits underneath Memorial Arch, and is the central location for Remembrance Day observations to honor armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: Back at the Abbey, the Duke and Duchess of Kent are the first to arrive, showing their roles as the most senior members of the royal family. Their Royal Highnesses also arrive in formal robes. The Duke wearing his Order of the Garter robe while the Duchess wears the Royal Edwardian Order mantle, reflecting her status as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order.
Shon Gableton [SNN]: "King George I named her a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order, the highest possible rank, in 2007."
Hallie Howell [SNN]: He did, indeed!
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: The Earl and Countess of St Peters followed. Prince Leo, heir to the dukedom of Kent, donned not only his Queen Katherine I Coronation medal but his Royal Edwardian Order, which were bestowed upon His Royal Highness last month. The Countess, wearing a green @sentate dress, wore the Royal Family Order of George I.
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: Third to arrive is the younger sister of Queen Katherine, Princess Lara, Countess of Boykins and her husband Anthony, Earl of Boykins. The Princess is wearing a traditional coronation gown and tiara, along with the Windsor sash and the Royal Family Order of George I.
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: The Duke and Duchess of Hastings arrive also in formal robes; equal to that of The Duke and Duchess of Kent. The Duke was invested as a Knight of the Garter in 2020 while the Duchess was invested as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order in 2022.
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "You can see the slight difference in their robes."
Tumblr media
Hallie Howell [SNN]: Yes, the robes of the Edwardian Order features a red stripe along the border. In a statement just released from the palace:
"At the request of the Queen and Prince consort, Dukes and Duchesses both are wearing formal robes and mantels for the [historic] occasion."
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: So, now we know attires have been well coordinated for the senior royals. Just like the royal guardsmen in the Queen's gorgeous procession, having just passed Memorial Arch.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Yes! Her Majesty's procession is making its way down Parliament Square Street.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Crowds cheer as Queen Katherine and Prince Rainier pass.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: At the west door of the Abbey, Officers of the Order of Knighthood descend from upstairs to begin the Coronation Procession. It will be a procession composed of elements of both the Church and State, the Spiritual and Temporal life of our land.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Representatives of The Knights of the most noble Order of the Garter make their way down the naive first, in their blue robes. They are followed by representatives of the most honorable Order of the Protea, in robes of green.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The rich blue carpet spreads down the aisle of the sanctuary, which hides the black and white checkered floor of the choir of the Abbey. The beautiful contrast of colors inside the abbey is on full display.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Once again the color changes and there comes the most ancient Order of the Iwé, in scarlet robes.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: After a brief gap, the Prime Minister of Brindleton Bay along with the Prime Minister of Sulani follow. Behind them, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Rt. Hon. Sir Linwood Keller, Knight of the Garter.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Immediately behind the Prime Minister is the Dean of Westsimster. He leads the next procession through the screen under the orchestra and the organ and out into the brilliance of the choir. We see them now, high above the alter, as the Cross of Westsimster is born by the Rev. Hilliard.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: Following the dean are Representatives from the churches of Windenburg and Brindleton Bay, showing the processions transition from State to Church.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Church of Winenburg representatives include the Lord Bishops who end the first part of the coronation procession.
Tumblr media
Cameron Dorly [SNN]: After a brief pause, we see a glimpse of the Heralds in their full splendor. Four Windenburg heralds followed by one Brindleton Bay herald stand as trumpets play announcing The Queen.
Tumblr media
Shon Gableton [SNN]: With the sound of the trumpets anthem, The Queen and Prince consort's arrival at the Abbey has been announced.

THE LARA-LEIGH DIAMOND BANDEAU
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE LARA-LEIGH DIAMOND BANDEAU
The Diamond Bandeau has its roots in Queen Lara-Leigh’s wedding gift collection. Princess Lara-Leigh of Niregia, as she was then, received a spectacular group of jewels as wedding presents when she married Prince Edward, Duke of Kent in July 1881. The couple became King Edward I and Queen Lara-Leigh in 1888, after Edwards older brother, William I, abdicated.
One of the glittering wedding presents offered to Lara-Leigh was a petite diamond cluster brooch. The jewel was a gift from the people of Lincolnshire. On July 2, 1885, the day before the royal wedding, Lord and Lady LoPresti traveled to Buckingsim Palace to present the county’s gift to Princess Lara-Leigh. The Simmy Times wrote that the couple presented “on behalf of the county of Lincolnshire, the county wedding gift, consisting of a large diamond, surrounded by other fine diamonds.
In 1931, she commissioned Hammond to make a new diamond and platinum bandeau-style tiara, using the County of Lincolnshire Brooch as its centerpiece. The tiara was frequently worn throughout the 40s and 50s, and left to the royal vault upon her death in 1962.
Tumblr media
It remained in the royal vault for a remarkable 27 years. But on May 13, 1989, it was seen once again on a member of the royal family. The new Duchess of Kent wore the tiara for her royal wedding at St. Leo’s Chapel, Windsor. Although owned by the current queen, it has become one of the Duchesses favorite tiaras.

THE GINSBURG EMERALD KOKOSHNIK TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE GINSBURG EMERALD KOKOSHNIK TIARA
The Ginsburg Tiara, which emerged from the royal vaults after a hibernation of more than half a century, has quickly become a favorite of royal jewelry lovers around the sims world.
It was made by Boucheron for Dame Margaret Ginsburg, who famously bequeathed her jewelry to Queen Lara-Leigh (the Queen Mother) in 1946. Historian Vincent Meklan, who published a book on Boucheron’s archives in 2011, wrote that the tiara was made for Mrs. Ginsburg in 1921.
The Queen Mother owned the tiara from 1946 until her death in 1962. Although she wore other emerald jewels from the Ginsburg bequest, she was only photographed wearing the kokoshnik once; to the October 1962 Premiere of the film version of the comic opera, "Tales of Hoffsim" at The Carlton. She was escorted by Lord Carmichael, her son-in-law; her daughter's husband. This was Her Majesty's last public appearance before her death two months later.
When she died in 1962, the tiara was left to the jewels of the crown inherited by her son, Edward II.
Tumblr media
The tiara appeared again 53 years later when Queen Zarah (consort to Edward II), loaned it to their granddaughter, Princess Anna of Kent, for her wedding to Lord Marsh Grimaldi in May 2015.

THE NIREGIAN PEARL TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE NIREGIAN PEARL TIARA
The Niregian Pearl Tiara and corsage ornament belonged to Queen Lara-Leigh. Both jewels were made around 1880 by Kochertu, the firm that served as court jeweler to the Niregian Imperial Family. The tiara, sometimes called the "Princess Tiara", is set with around 25 carats’ worth of diamonds and 15 pearls, some of them baroque. The large brooch is set with six more pearls and more old-cut diamonds.
Gifted to Princess Lara-Leigh by her parents (Niregian royals) on the day of her wedding to Prince Edward (later Edward I), the tiara and brooch were often worn during her time as Duchess of Kent.
Tumblr media
On loan from her father, the late King George I, the tiara was last seen worn by The Countess of Boykins on her 2022 wedding day.
Queen Lara-Leigh left the tiara and brooch to the jewels of the crown, and are now owned by the current queen, Katherine I, who has loaned the tiara to her sister, the Countess of Boykins, on three occasions since.

THE ZARAH EMERALD TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE ZARAH EMERALD TIARA
The Zarah Emerald Tiara, featuring cushion-shaped diamonds, step-cut emeralds and 19 inverted pear-shaped emeralds, was designed by Prince Edward II, along with the emerald bracelets, earrings and brooch. It was commissioned by jeweler Joseph Hammond for §114,170 before being presented to then Princess Zarah for her birthday in 1945, who wrote of a “lovely Diadem of diamonds and emeralds designed by my beloved Edward” and praised her husband’s “wonderful taste” in her journal.
Still owned by The Queen Dowager, the tiara is one of Her Majesty's favorites.

THE BRINDLETON SAPPHIRE TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE BRINDLETON SAPPHIRE TIARA
The Brindleton Sapphire Tiara was designed by King George I, and commissioned by a Sulani firm, Maison van der Simschell for §213,000 before being presented to Queen Rowena in 1991, when the royal couple were still The Prince and Princess of Brindleton Bay.
The tiara was cut from the same Windsor Sapphire stone used to make Queen Lara-Leigh's engagement ring in 1886, currently worn by Queen Rowena. Interestingly, the Sulani artisans who made the tiara had reportedly been inspired by another piece of royal jewelry: the diamond and sapphire brooch given to Lara-Leigh by Prince Edward, to match her engagement ring, on the night before their wedding in 1886. Queen Rowena wore the tiara and brooch for her 2016 Official Portrait (above), and the tiara alone for the 2023 South Marvanian State Banquet.
The Windsor Sapphire stone was gifted to Albert II by Sulani Emperor Kaleo Boulle in 1840. It has been passed down to every Windenburg monarch, having only been cut three times.

THE LARA-LEIGH HALO TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE LARA-LEIGH CARTIER HALO TIARA
The Lara-Leigh Halo Tiara, which features large scroll elements arranged across a geometric band of diamonds (which is why it’s sometimes called the “Scroll Tiara”), was made by Cartier in the summer of 1886, it was purchased by King Edward I (then still Duke of Kent) for his young wife, Lara-Leigh (who we all know better as the Queen Lara-Leigh).
The young couple is pictured above at a charity ball at Claridge’s in Easton to benefit the South Easton Hospital for Women. It was their first gala outing since the official ending of the lengthy court mourning period for the late King Albert II, and two years before Edwards older brother abdicated.
In the end, though, it never became one of her most frequently worn tiaras.
Tumblr media
Queen Lara-Leigh gave the Halo Tiara to her daughter, Amelia, Princess Royal, as an 18th birthday gift. Most of the bejeweled gifts that the young Princess received were hand-me-down pieces. Shortly before the birthday celebrations, Queen Lara-Leigh wrote in her diary noting, “I am giving Amelia a small diamond tiara of my own for her 18th birthday, & Eddie [Edward I] is giving her a little bracelet to wear now."
The Princess Royal never wore her birthday tiara in public. Instead, Her Royal Highnesses first appearance in the piece was for her 40th birthday portraits. Upon her death, the tiara was left to the jewels of the crown and is now owned by Queen Katherine I.

THE FLÊCE FRINGE TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE FLÊCE FRINGE TIARA
The Flêce Fringe Tiara, a wedding present to Catherine, Princess Royal from her second betrothal, the 2nd Earl of Flêce in 1836. It was made of diamonds set in gold and silver by E. Wolff and Co. for Garrard. The second child and only daughter of King Albert I and Queen Isabella, the Princess Royal had many royal suitors and was often lavished with gifts, many of which she refused. After her death in 1891, the tiara was left to the jewels of the crown.
This tiara is often misidentified as the “Windsorian Fringe.” But don’t let the internet (and even some books) fool you — it’s not the same tiara! The so-called Albert II or Windsorian Fringe was a fringe necklace that belonged to Queen Adaline, the wife of Albert II. The "Windsorian Fringe," was made by Collingwood that Queen Isabella gave to Adaline as a wedding gift. It was worn in various ways (including as a tiara) and it is now the property of the current queen. But it’s a totally different piece. The Windsorian fringe is now set as a necklace (and cannot be easily converted to be worn as a tiara).
Tumblr media
Princess Catherine’s fringe, on the other hand, is a new, smaller, neater and more modern-looking tiara. You can see a comparison of the two in the portrait of Queen Lara-Leigh above; The Windsorian Fringe is worn as a necklace, and Princess Catherine’s Flêce Fringe remains a tiara.
Diamond fringe tiaras were incredibly popular after they became fashionable at the imperial court of the Marvanians, and the current Windsor collections reflect that popularity.

THE QUEEN LUCILLE TIARA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE QUEEN LUCILLE TIARA
The Queen Lucille Tiara, is one of the oldest amongst the crown jewels.
Known for her impressive collection of jewels, the tiara was an anniversary gift to Queen Lucille from King Lester between 1772 and 1776. Emeralds were Queen Lucille's favorite stone so King Lester had the tiara made, by the court jeweler Brundols, with a mechanism to make it possible to switch from emeralds to pearls easily.
The Lucille tiara was smuggled out of Brindleton Bay following the deaths of King Lester, and the royal family, during the flood of 1802. A Windenburg antiques and art dealer was able to retrieve 104 jewels from Queen Lucille’s safe at Beaverdam Castle, taking them with him back to Windenburg. The Lucille tiara was amongst his haul.
Albert I purchased it in 1804, along with many of his mother's other jewels. Queen Isabella was not fond of the tiara, and Queen Adaline was never photographed wearing this piece. Any portrait of Queen Lucille wearing the tiara was lost in the flood. The tiara was first seen in portrait by Queen Lara-Leigh, consort of Edward I, at Sumpterson Estate in 1898. It was most recently worn by its current owner, Queen Katherine I, to the 2023 Beacon Gala.

THE DIAMOND DIADEM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE DIAMOND DIADEM
Although the diamond diadem is today worn exclusively by Windenburg Queens, it was actually made for a Windenburg King, Albert I, who ordered the crown from Simsdell, Bridge, and Simsdell in 1784. The jeweler finished the diadem that May, constructing it out of silver, gold, diamonds, and pearls. The diadem was charged to a special account set up for costs related to Albert’s coronation, which took place the following year.
Tumblr media
The diadem was gifted to his wife, Queen Isabella, only a decade after it was made. Her Majesty wore the crown when she reigned as Regent from 1828-1832. After her death, the diadem was left to the jewel collection of every Windenburg Queen and consort: Adaline, Lara-Leigh, Zarah, Rowena, and Katherine I. The diadem has been altered slightly two different times over the past two centuries: for the coronations of Adaline (1832), and Lara-Leigh (1888).

EASTON, Windenburg (SNN) - - Queen Katherine attended the Beacon Gala last night, an event not originally on Her Majesty's calendar. The gala is thrown annually by the Royal Arts Foundation and ends with a highly-anticipated auction.
The Queen not only attended but met some new Windenburg "royalty", and introduced the gala's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Juliana Jackson.
Tumblr media
Queen Katherine and Jackson have been friends for many years and upon hearing of Jackson as the honoree, accepted an invitation. The pair, along with the Prince consort, entered the gala together and were seen mingling with guests.
Her Majesty wore the Queen of Silk gown by @mssims and paired it with the Lucille tiara and diamond choker. Choosing to wear only the Royal Orders of George I and the Order of the Garter, Her Majesty wanted to highlight the gown. Tumblr media
She is an eco-friendly fashion designer, model, and classical vocal instructor based in Easton, and is a voice for African-Americans, opening the door for more diversity and representation in the Arts society.
Tumblr media
Miss Universe chatted with the Prince consort, discussing collective initiatives. As patron of the Royal Arts Foundation, Prince Rainier will be working closely with the new Miss Windenburg.
Tumblr media
Queen Katherine spoke to the gala attendees and introduced Juliana Jackson, before partaking in the gala's final festivities.

THE ZARAH SAPPHIRE CORONET
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Royal House of Windsor: A Royal Tiara Collection
THE SAPPHIRE CORONET
The Sapphire Coronet, one of Zarah's most treasured jewels, was designed for her by Prince Edward II in 1940 – the royal couple's wedding year – and made by Joseph Kirchen, partner at Kirchen and Azul.
Zarah wore the newly completed coronet in the royal couples famous engagement portrait by Franklin Zair Walton, in Mar 1940. Over fifty years later, Zarah wore the coronet in 1995 when she felt able to join her son, George I, to open Parliament for the first time since Edward's death in 1992.
Tumblr media
The coronet was more recently worn in 2023 by her granddaughter, Queen Katherine I (then Duchess of Brindleton Bay). The tiara was left to the jewels of the crown after her death, in Sept 2024.
