In fact, it was so high that, once they got home, I just had her nap outside and howl a couple of times so it would boil over and send her on a rampage. Then had her scavenge briefly before having her promptly regain control and head to bed. XD Sometimes, you just gotta let things take their course, you know?

-->As for her housemates/nesting partners, Victor got some food in him and got a bit of sleep, while Smiler got logic level 8 from some more chess, upgraded the kitchen sink, and -- once Victor had enough energy to take the hit and get back to bed -- had a drink from Victor. Because fresh plasma is always better than packaged. :p

And that’s it for now! Next time -- well, I’m still working on it (been having trouble finding the time to actually PLAY Sims), but I can at least show you a few house renovations! We’ve made some adjustments to accommodate the gang’s new business and their power needs. . .see you then!

Today I'm offering you a small edit to @simsco's 4t2 Martha Sofa and Loveseat.

I repositoried the love seat to the sofa, mainly so that I could use @linacheries wonderful recolors on the loveseat :) I also had to remap the loveseat, so existing recolors of the loveseat will no longer work.

I did not change the file names, but the sofa is the master. Please note these are only the edited meshes, you'll need to grab the recolors at the links above.

And Gift 3! Sorry for the delay - I lost my preview and it was too late to make a new one 😂 As I mentioned in a few posts, I have been dabbling with object defaults and I am really excited to share some of my results with you! So!

Trottco 27" Multivid IV Television replaced with @veranka Amovitamsim 3t2 conversion of Tabular TV edit (the middle sized one)

There are a few more like-for-like defaults for this TV set but as non-flat screen TVs are hard to come by these days, this is a more useful replacement in my game and I figured some others might feel the same.

Unfortunately, there are a few caveats to this replacement. As the original TV sits on the floor, this replacement does the same and I couldn't work out how to place it on surfaces. If you're using the shiftable everything mod however, you can wall mount it, or position it above a table (which I did for this preview). If anyone knows how to make it placeable on surfaces though and wants to tinker with it, I'd be super appreciative! The other thing is sims can't work out with this TV and for the life of me I can't work out why... Apart from that, all other interactions work great 😊 Price unchanged as I always felt Veranka's pricing of $137 or whatever was way too cheap and sims have far too much money anyway lol. I used the Free Time version of this TV so this might not be base game compatible.

Compact Stereo by Lo-Fi Audio replaced with @simsco Charging Stations as Stereos (version 2)

This is one of my favourite stereos to use in teen bedrooms and felt really fitting! So I decided to default this as well. This, from my testing, seems to have no issues (huzzah 😌). Again I kept the price point the same as my 4 minutes of googling seemed to suggest that's how much charging docks like this seem to cost.

I didn't change the in-game descriptions because they are super funny so it felt a shame to get rid of them when their replacements didn't have witty alternatives. i did however add the name of the replacement, the original creator and my name just so you can trace where it was from if you have any issues.

I'd like to thank @themediocresulk for their awesome tutorial. Thank you @veranka and @simsco for the conversions. I hope you guys enjoy this and thank you for the 2500+ milestone again! x

I also added Smiler’s new poster, and one of their old ones, to the party barn (I thought they looked good in here); put the new Emily snowglobe on the suitcase shelves on the second floor (they’re not being used for anything else at the moment!); and set up Smiler’s new computer (look at that cool big wraparound screen -- fancy)! GeekCon swag officially sorted! Smiler took the opportunity to give their computer a quick test run while they had power, before heading to the kitchen to do some dishes and sing some songs. Alice, for her part, went wolf and did some painting and some hunting, while Victor of course spent a good chunk of the evening in his greenhouse --

And then went and tested out the family’s new bulk food processor! Yes, because there was one more addition to the barn that I didn’t mention before -- Simsonian Library’s Simsco Canning Factory Mod! I picked this up because this object allows you to make bulk processed food out of your produce -- canned vegetables, boxes of various sauce and preserve jars, bagged bread, jars of dried herbs, and so on! It’s very cool, and perfect for a family that has a thriving greenhouse and just bought their own grocery store. I had Victor give it a test run while the power was working and make some vegetarian MREs with some of his spinach. Looks like it works just fine to me! :D

And so this update ends with Alice doing some wolfy painting; Smiler reading a book (A World Without Magic); Victor upstairs sleeping; and the pets playing together on the back porch. :) Seems like a nice way to end the day to me! And next time, the gang is back out and about again, this time to REALLY start focusing on their new store. . .see you then!
