Useful TS3 shortcuts you might not know about - quickly copy and recolor! (GIF)

• Hold Shift while dragging a palette to recolor the entire floor or wall

• Ever get frustrated copying objects with an eyedropper? Hold Shift and place the selected object to copy it without loading it! Works in both Build or Buy modes, can copy Debug objects with no codes ;)

• Hold Shift and drag fence or wall tool to create a room; hold Ctrl to remove the wall or fence

These shortcuts have saved me lots of time! I rarely use both sledgehammer and eyedropper :) By the way, the support team has said that my tumblr is finally unbanned! Whew, let's see!

This video was made after I asked here on my blog what kind of videos would anyone like to see me put on my YouTube channel.

I don't update everyday or all that often, but I thought to ask and I had a couple of responses. If anyone has any suggestions or things they'd like to ask me that they'd like to visually see, you can send me a message or an ask or leave a comment here. :)

Thank you @riribbysims for asking me if I had any build tips/tricks and what my favorite builds are. I didn't want the video to run on too long so I kept my favorite builds out of this video, but I tried to come up with build tips that I think may be useful for anyone that either already builds or someone who might want to start building.

I do build more community lots than houses, but it's a little mixture of both.

Anyway, thanks to everyone else that has time to stop by and check out this really short Build Tips video I put together.

Guys I'm having a crisis. I'm building the living room from the San Franscisco apartment from IwtV and I dont know which Sims4 kitchen cabinets best match this reference.

Huge shout out to @jessicapieyt who had this amazing tip on her most recent video. The 'Regular 'Ol Night Light' from Parenthood has what looks like sockets on the back. If you use TOOL by @twistedmexi to turn it around you have sockets!!

genuine question

i have a really strong urge to make a save file, but the thing is i suck at building. like, so bad. no matter what i do, everything ends up looking so boxy and i don't know how to fix it. so, i have 3 questions.

if i make a save file, am i allowed to use other simmers' builds in it? i'd credit them all, but i wasn't sure if that was like an unspoken rule or not

how does one make their builds less box-like??

💡A quick layout idea for a small townhome basement.

I ran out of space for ulitities and laundry and came up with this. 🤔For some reason I always forget about basements so if you struggle with space in your townhomes like I did, try them out!

TIL that you can use exterior trim to clean up the edges of indoor floor cut outs and my life has truly changed for the better. It looks so much cleaner!

41 BUILD STYLES

Hey simmers, today I share with you my list of build styles I use. So most of these styles I have never built before. I put this list in a wheel spinner, you can copy and paste it in, then let the wheel spin and see what build style it lands on.

I usually search the build style on pinterest and then pick a design from there for my Sims 4 build. You can decide after the wheel has selected a style if it should be removed from the list or remain for a possible second build. Also you can save the wheel spin list in the top right corner of the website there is options then you do not have to keep putting the list in.

If you have a high enough relationship score, you can make Coquitos at your friends house and they won't even care that you're drinking all of their Jooze.

just a little tip for those who dont use cc objects in game here is a nice way to get neon lights in game if you have all packs like Late Night  use this light as shown below to just hold shift and click on the light as normal to get the color you like ;)
