I follow a number of simblrs here and I know one or two are mutuals that don't mind my reblogs clogging up their timelines. So, I have a question. I am starting my uberhood again and I'm on the fence about "scripted events" and locked wants. On the one hand, it does continue the stories set up in these subhoods. On the other, some are going to be a pain in the ass. Also note that my uberhood is not like others: I have a 30-subhood neighborhood, so rotations are gonna take a MINUTE. And I have a tendency to restart a lot, and I know that this is one of the decisions that may cause me to start over again if I'm not happy with it. And my OCD makes me crazy indecisive. So.

If I go with scripted events, I'll start playing from Don Lothario. If I say fuck it, I'll start with the sim bin college kids.

"you did great, hee," you say softly before leaning in to kiss him. he relaxes instantly, his arms wrapping around you. "thanks, angel," he whispers against your lips, a shy smile forming. "i needed that."

"what's the worse that can happen?" he whispers, his voice shaky. you smile, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. "nothing, so it'll be fine," you murmur, leading him inside. during dinner, jay sits beside you, his hand finding yours under the table, fingers entwining tightly. he engages in polite conversation, answering your parents' questions with a mix of charm and nerves. you can feel the tension in his grip. afterward, as you walk him to the door, you turn to face him, cupping his cheek. "you were perfect, jay," you whisper, leaning in to kiss him softly. he sighs in relief, resting his forehead against yours. "thanks, love," he whispers, a small smile appearing. 

𝐒𝐈𝐌 𝐉𝐀𝐄𝐘𝐔𝐍 jake stands at your doorstep, his usual bright smile in place even though you know he's nervous. "ready?" you ask, and he nods confidently. as you introduce him to your parents, his charm instantly wins them over. he answers their questions with ease, laughing at their jokes and sharing stories. by the end of dinner, it feels like your parents have adopted him; they're already planning family outings with him included. later, as you both step outside, you turn to him with a grin. "they love you," you whisper, wrapping your arms around his neck. jake leans in, kissing you softly, "thanks, sweetheart,"

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐍 sunghoon stands confidently beside you, charming your parents effortlessly with his polite manners and genuine smiles. after a few minutes of conversation, he leans in and whispers in your ear, "great, now your parents like me." you feel his lips brush your ear, sending a shiver down your spine. "time for you to get my last name, mrs. park," he teases, a mischievous glint in his eyes. you blush furiously, but before you can respond, he kisses you softly on the cheek, his hand gently cupping your face. "i'm serious, baby," he adds, his voice low and filled with affection.

𝐊𝐈𝐌 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐎 sunoo holds your hand tightly as you both walk up to your parents' house, his usual bright smile a bit nervous. "it's gonna be fine," he whispers, leaning in to kiss your forehead softly. as the door opens, he beams, his charm instantly winning them over. during dinner, he keeps sneaking glances at you, squeezing your hand under the table. when your parents leave the room, he pulls you close, pressing a quick kiss to your lips. "i told you it would be fine, my love," he murmurs, his eyes sparkling. later, as he helps clear the table, your mom pulls you aside and whispers, "he's a keeper." you can't help but smile, knowing she's right.

𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐖𝐎𝐍 jungwon squeezes your hand as you approach your parents' house, a confident smile on his face. "don't worry, i basically make every parent be in love with me," he whispers, making you giggle. the evening goes smoothly, jungwon charming your parents effortlessly with his respectful manners. as the night ends and you both step outside, he pulls you close, his eyes sparkling under the porch light. "see? told you, baby," he murmurs, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. you laugh softly, feeling warmth spread through you, and whisper back, "yeah, you're pretty amazing, my love." he grins, kissing you again.

𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀 𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐈 you were so nervous for the day, hoping that riki wouldn't mess up. surprisingly, riki seemed nervous for the first time, holding up two ties and asking, "this tie or this one?" finally deciding, he transformed during dinner, completely cool and charming, showing a side of him you never saw. your parents were impressed, laughing at his jokes and enjoying his company. as you got into the car afterward, he leaned over and kissed your cheek, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "piece of cake, babe. now you owe me that $50 you bet," he teased, making you roll your eyes and laugh, feeling relieved and proud of him.

You sit on your balcony, the night breeze hitting your face as you feel a chill yet soft sensation on your face. The night sky is clear, the stars and moon illuminating their light at the fullest. Stargazing was your favorite thing, it made you feel contented yet vulnerable, as if the stars and moon knew all the hidden secrets the hearts hold, as if they had always been watching. You keep looking at the sky mesmerized and lost when you feel a presence next to you. Your boyfriend, Sim Jaeyun quietly takes a seat next to you, looking at the sky as well. You both enjoy each other's peaceful silence. Both of your silence speaking more than words did. He was the only one who really knew the real you, he was someone you had in your highest and lowest, he was more than a lover. He was your bestfriend, your other half, your companion, your one and only. 

"You know. ." you say quietly as jake hums at you, still keeping his eyes on the sky. "it feels unreal." you remark as you look at him. The moonlight falling on his face, enhancing his features, his side profile the most ethereal view you ever saw. He was gorgeous, so so gorgeous, he made you want to cry. God really took his time with him, you think to yourself. "having you by my side, you and me, us, it feels like a dream ━ a dream that i would never want to wake up from." you continue, your voice raw, filled with emotions, your words holding a deep meaning. 

Jake looks at you, his gaze soft, "so do i" he whispers as he stares right into your eyes, making you feel all sorts of jittery feelings. You break the eye contact as you gaze at the sky again, continuing softly, your emotions taking the best of you. "i used to sit here every night looking at the sky, the stars, the moon, i ━ i used to wish upon them." You glance at him, already staring at you, your stomach doing flips as butterflies erupt. You were down bad for him and you knew it. You look back at the sky, not being able to hold the eye contact with him. "i used to wish that i wanted someone who would actually love me for who i was. I wanted someone who could be the light to my dark, someone. .who would actually glow in my dark, like ━ like a supernova that glows in the dark." you say, look at him, as you intertwine your fingers with his. 

He gazes at you softly, understanding the deep meaning of your words, feeling heart warmed and touched. "then you came. ." you pronounce, "i ━ i saw you and i knew you were it. You are my supernova, the one that would light up my dark, the one who would show me the real love i needed." You state softly, your voice soft, vulnerable and desperate. He keeps staring at you, his eyes filled with love and adoration. You look away as your voice breaks " A ━ and i would never want to loose you, you are too precious to me, i can't imagine living without you, i ━ i would absolutely destroy the whole damn ━ "

Jake leans in towards your cheeks without you noticing as you keep talking when suddenly, you feel a pair of soft lips on your cheeks. Your eyes widen as you feel stunned and speechless. Did he just interrupt you talking with a kiss on the cheek ? oh god, you loved this man so much, so . so . much u think to yourself. Your ears turn red, feeling the heat rising on your cheeks. You turn your head towards him, and, your breath hitches. His face was close, so so close to yours. 

You keep your gaze down, unable to move or to look at him when he brings his face closer to yours as his hands reach up to your nap holding it. "i love you." he suddenly whispers making you look at him. His face was so close to yours, you were actually about to explode. This man never failed to make you miserable, but, you still loved it. You loved how his words that came out of his mouth were only meant for you and you only. 

"i fucking love you." jake repeats, saying out loud and clear as he leans in, and in a swift move, he smashes his lips on yours and like always, you find yourself splitting among the seams, his lips so soft like two pillows. The kiss speaking more than his words and at the moment you were sure he was as down bad for you as you were for him.

I honestly don't know what to say, I'm so tired. I've been getting hate asks continuously for the past week, everytime I open blr I keep seeing these asks despite me blocking them (asks were anonymous). And as much as i would like to ignore them, it's just talking a toll on my mental health.

I seriously can't comprehend why people are so sensitive, I don't want to take asks is that so hard to understand? I deleted them, blocked them but yet they keep sending me these asks. My motivation to write is the lowest it has ever been, I have zero ideas in my head.

Due to all of this, I'm taking a break. This is a hiatus announcement. I'm sorry to everyone that we're looking forward to my new posts, but i just cant take it anymore.

I will return in full swing soon, I promise. But for now I'm done. I will come by once in a while, do send me asks if you want to talk!

Hi! My intro's a little late, but... I'm Himi (hee-mee) or Max and I'm a storyteller and a builder. The pic above is my OC Quela (kay-la, or more precisely, as you would pronounce the words in Spanish); they're one of the central characters in my Keystone universe.

I was in my 20s when The Sims came out. My mother thought I would love it. Can't say that I ever received a more perfect gift. I skipped 2* and 3 because LIFE, but I lived vicariously through my BFF who I got hooked. I came back in 2019 to 4 and promptly made a simblr then, but I had no idea what to post, so it died a silent death.

These days I'm adapting one of my fanfics into a simscomic as a sort of trial to get a feel for how I want to go about bringing my original works to life. So I'm here to share tales from my fanfic and Keystone universe storyboards.

I don't do a whole lot of organic gameplay and unless I get inspired by a theme, like my Tiny Home World Tour, my builds are generally for storytelling purposes. There isn't much to see here yet, but you can check out some of my recent builds on my main @greighish (gray-ish).

So, if you're inclined, stop by, say hi to me or Quela (they're not particularly friendly, but they're kind, helpful, and, for better or worse, are driven by a need to fix things).
