I offer anyone who wants to, to add proper vertex paint to the lamp item. My vertex paintbrush in Blender doesn't work the way it is supposed to, no matter what I try. If anyone wants to add the vertex paint I will update the file with the fixed version & credit to the person who added it. Without this paint on the mesh, the whole item illuminates strangely when turned on, so turning the brightness down can remedy that issue until it is fixed. I am also working on figuring out why I'm having this issue in Blender.

Garden At Home By Max20 4t2 Conversion

A conversion of a gorgeous, absolutely stunning set by Max20, Garden At Home.

Includes all items + 2 terrain paints. Everything is quarter tile placeable, smooth and non shiny - my usual routine.

All the seasonal plants (stay blooming in spring and summer because too pretty!):

Terrain paints (do not appear in the collection because adding them is not possible):

Planters require Honeywell's garden plot or its edited version by @lamare-sims (if you use our Planting Overhaul Mod) if you want to be able to plant harvestables in them:

Small planter can go on surfaces:

Wood shed is a functional composter (works with Planting Overhaul Mod), sims go through to use it though:

Repotting table is a functional flower arranging table:

Don't let the look of the bench deceive you - it's a normal functioning loveset, and if you align 4 pieces together (no cheats needed for that), everything becomes seamless and fits right under a nice looking tree (I got some for you right here ;):

Bird bath is a ladybug house, it spawns pretty butterflies and birds high up in the sky (cloned from this object by @hugelunatic):

Big greenhouse is an actual lamp (though its light is very subtle). It also intersects with objects and sims (meaning you can put furniture inside and sims will be able to go through it to use these objects):

And to crown it all, the trellis is a functional wedding arch:

MY WEDDING TRAUMA: A SURELY-SIMS x ICE-CREAMFORBREAKFAST COLLABORATION, CONVERTED TO THE SIMS 2 [download - 👰🏽🤵🏽]

are you tired of brides in white dresses and toddlers with perfect pink flower baskets? is cereal packet gameplay just not doing it for you anymore? maybe you'd like your weddings to put the 'strange' in strangetown? search no more, the ingredients for the strangest wedding in sim nation are finally here!

so, since i caught that one virus, i've been playing around a bit more with ts2 cc creation and finally had the time to work on converting a big set again. but then... what to convert? the answer came to me in the links section of a random lookbook... in a sort of fever dream. a set that captures the recent theme on my blog, families, and yet completely destroys it at the same time: my wedding trauma.

everything here is remarkably versatile. i mean, i know for a fact that people aren't just going to use that jumpsuit for a wedding, elvis needs more freedom than that! there are 9 cas items and 6 buy items for a total of 17 items in this set!

the original ts4 collaboration is complete perfection; it has just the sort of trashy, nonsensical vibes that the ts2 wedding department is sorely lacking. my conversion of this isn't perfect, i'm still learning how to do clothing and there are some minor issues mentioned below the cut, but overall i think that it came out pretty good and i hope it invokes some chaos in your game. 💥

*Remember to run the DX11 batch fix if you are using DX11. I do not use DX11 with my game, when I looked up what would happen if I ran the batch fix even though I don't have this turned on, the consensus was not to do this if you are not using the DX11 option. For those that have never done it, do not fear for it is very simple and will update any CC in your mods folder that needed it to work with DX11. I know the new DX11 API causes issues having something to do with the wall items, or other image texture-related things- that I know of. If you do not have Sims 4 Studio, here is a link about how to install it from their official website. And of course, if you need help please send me a message.

IT'S TIME

Time to finally put to use that wedding area I made in the Gojo house!!

(also there's a wedding video at the end of the post!)

To start off, Tsumiki was the flower girl and Megumi was the ring bearer, of course. Poor Megumi looked embarassed lol

And here comes the bride (◡‿◡✿)

and MY GOD it was so hard wrangling all the guests to just sit the f down to actually get this wedding done JFC the sims 4 y are u like this

Anyway, Satoru's dad was the officiant of the wedding. He cried.

aaaaand they're husband and wife now! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Throw the rice at them, hurray! (when will main fic SatoYura tho!! - asks me, the writer)

Look at how much Yura loves him ༼ಢ_ಢ༽

They also had their first dance together (´⌣`ʃƪ) (but for some reason, they went outside the house to dance??? idek the sims)

Here's a video recap of their wedding! feat. me not realizing that there was a difference in which sim stood at which side of the wedding arch, a head bonk, cutting the cake together, and their first dance! (sorry about the video's choppiness, my computer didn't want to cooperate lol)

Anyway, they're married now!! And I never want to do another wedding in The Sims 4 ever again!!

Reverted back to using phong shader instead of counter shader because I found inconsistency in rendering transparency.

A little side note: I believe these items have been converted before by ladesire. This is my version that I made purely from the beginning with recolor options that I wanted.
