I love watching other people play through Sims legacy challenges, but I’ve yet to find one that I’d be interested in playing for myself. So I made one, and decided to post the rules here so anyone else who’s interested could play as well.

Keep in mind that it is always an option to modify the challenge if you do not have a required pack, however, some packs are more instrumental than others. These packs are listed in bold.

The Sims 4:

Tim Burton Legacy Challenge

Generation 1: Beetlejuice

Number of kids: Two

Required trait: Gloomy

Required career: Paranormal Investigator

Required Packs:

•Paranormal

•Spa Day

•City Living

Rules:

•Play as Lydia

•Complete the Inner Peace Aspiration

•Max Photography skill

•Live in a house with the lot trait Spooky OR a Haunted House Residential lot

•Marry a ghost

•Bring ghost spouse back to life without the use of cheats

Generation 2: Wednesday

Number of kids: Any

Required trait: Loner

Required career: Detective

Required Packs:

•Get to Work

•Werewolves

•Island Living

Rules:

•Play as Wednesday

•Complete the Successful Lineage aspiration

•Max Mischief skill

•Live in Moonwood Mill

Rules:

•Play as Sally

•Become a Spellcaster and complete the Purveyor of Potions aspiration

•Max Herbalism skill

•Live in Forgotten Hollow

•Spouse must be in the Politician career

•Sneak out while still a teen

Generation 5: The Corpse Bride

Number of kids: None or Any

Required trait: Jealous

Required career: The same as your current partner (If you’re single, you’re unemployed)

Required Packs:

City Living

Rules:

•Play as Emily

•Start out with the Soulmate aspiration

•Max Piano skill

•Live in a house with the lot trait Cursed

•For your first love, get engaged but do not end up getting married

From there, you can choose to either find happiness without a partner or continue the legacy by finding a spouse.

If you choose to find a partner:

•Spouse cannot be the same sim as your first love, and must already be in a relationship and be convinced to leave their partner before you can get married

•Complete the Soulmate aspiration

•Have as many children as you wish

If you choose not to find a partner:

•Join the career of your choosing

•Complete the Friend of the World aspiration

•Never get married and have no children

And that’s the challenge! Have fun and happy simming!
