Newsea Long Love Letter F2M in Poppet V2

I saw this hair while cruising Krabby's hair database and thought it would be cute on Willow(Pascal) I'm always looking for more hair for her! I also notice it has not been made in Poppet V2 textures yet!

This is Hallowsims Storm, a hair converted for TS2 by @davinaojeda. The included mesh file is the version that @simborg shared here with CU & TF fixes and FtM conversion, which I further edited a little for smoother bone assignment. It's for CU-EU, in my Pooklet-Digi-Io palette and in 2 different textures: dreads & twists (see pictures under the cut). I used these recolors by @dark-side-laegrinna as base. Polycount: 8.5k.

I never actually publicly released the edit or the F2M version, but here’s a new set for both! Comes in pooklet’s dynamite, depth charge, incendiary, pyrotechnic and mailbomb for elders. A volatile base is included for recolouring. Enjoy~

A hair for PU-EU, Newsea Miles Away J094f. I see it as a hair-down counterpart to Newsea Rachel. The F mesh is by Newsea, the FtM conversion is by Viquey with a very small edit by me on TM (see under the cut). Polycount: 15k.

I used textures by @evannamari as base, recolored in 12 Pooklet-Digi-Io colors (see palette). There's 2 sets of recolors: regular solid ones for toddlers to elders + recolors with subtle grey strands for young adults to elders.

FtM conversion by Viquey, I just moved a few vertices on the TM mesh to fix the baby hair sinking into the forehead:

Also yeah, as for Newsea Rachel, the grey strands on the "With Grey Strands" recolors become invisible at a distance. They look nice on up-close screenshorts though.

A small thing I forgot to ask could we get a description of the characters?

Of course (sorry this took me so long, I need to wait until I could on sims to visualize them)

Virgil is about 5′9″, He’s relatively tan, but still on the paler side, with dark brown hair. He has heterochromia, and has one brown dark brown eye, and one grey eye.

Dee is 4′10″, he’s tanner then Virgil but not by much, he has the same dark brown hair as Virgil, but his eyes are a lighter shade of brown. He also has burn marks on the right side of his face.

Emile at the moment, is the average height for a 6-year-old (I have no clue what that is as I was far below that height), but when he finishes growing he is 5′4″. He looks nothing like his brothers, he has bright blonde hair, hazel/green eyes, with freckles covering his face. He is about as tan as dee though

Patton is 5′5″, with reddish brown hair (its more red than brown). Patton is slightly paler than Virgil and has a lot of freckles all over, Patton is also Genderfluid

Thomas is at the moment probably the same height as Patton, but will eventually be 5′10″ and looks like Thomas in real life, except his hair is redder than normal, it’s still brown though.

Logan is 5′10″, and has dark skin and short curly and very kinky hair, he also has dark to light brown eyes depending on the light, although Roman likes to saw they are almost honey colored in sunlight

Roman is 5′0″, and is quite tan, He has chocolate brown hair and green eyes. He’s the most muscular of the group at the moment, that will change over the years though.

Remus is 5′2″, and looks exactly like roman, except he is lankier, slightly paler, and he’s the streak of white in his hair

Remy is FTM Trans, and at the moment is around 4′10″, but when he’s done growing he will be 5′4. While the twins look like their mom, he looks like their father much to his utter disdain, so he has sandy blondish brown hair, and blue eyes. He also has a smattering of freckles all over his face

Toby at the moment is the same height as Emile, but will be about 5′7″ when he’s done growing he will be about 5′7″ He’s tanner then roman with rusty brown hair and brown eyes.

I’ve decided to write about my identity journey and thoughts because it’ll make it easier to talk to my therapist I guess. I’ve been thinking for the past couple of months, trying figure out why I never seemed happy with either identity for one reason or another and why they’re tied together and the realizations I’ve made along the way that have finally tied together. I never seen so,embody else go through with it so it maybe this will comfort somebody else who’s been through something like it.

When I was growing up, I loved dolls, Bratz, Monster High, little doll houses, and other typical girly things. I always felt different, like, just knew I was and was typically treated different than my family. When I finally hit that point that I realized I could dress myself, as my mom and grandma dressed me as cute as possible, I wanted to dress like a typical boy, I was a girl for sure, but I just, wanted to to express myself in a way that felt like me. Looking back on it, I’m sure my family knew I was ✨different✨ like that, because they continued to dress me how they wanted, ignored what I wanted and did everything for me. I didn’t get to pick out my actual outfit because I needed to look nice for the other kids to tell their parents how good my mom is. I didn’t get to pick my hair, I didn’t get to pick clothes, yet I needed to be able to handle emotionally being on my own. My little brother got to though. This starting manifesting the “I wish I was a boy” stuff even more, as I thought I’d have to be a boy to dress the way I wanted to as was, seeing my brother, so much younger than me, having more autonomy then I did just sat wrong with me, and still does all this time later because of how my family treats it when I bring it up.

This would start my major depression in 5th grade when I was 11, as I started puberty, and was given the list I was suppose to follow since I was becoming a woman “dressed nicely so you won’t get picked on, makeup, especially shaving every inch of you except your head,” and all the other stuff women and AFAB’s know. And I was so disconnected from it, I didn’t want to do any of that, I mean I wanted to dress nice, but I wanted to do my way…. Which was emo at the time lmao. Now before my major depression has started at 11, I remember doing art all the time, I had a lot of straight ships from cartoons cause I didn’t realize you could like the same sex, then I started playing scribblenauts, and the goth girl and female student npcs you could create? Hardcore lesbians, made for each other. I drew them for months. I think I had some of my dolls like that, and I remember the sims 2 lesbian videos of the late 2000s. It laid dormant for a long time. I never had crushes before, I wasn’t against romance as a kid, I just didn’t care for them or imagined myself really in them from anytime I can remember.

Then came 12, and my first real crush, which ofc, was a girl, and I remember, it just, clicked for me. I felt great, granted it was first crush stuff to so I mean, go figure. My family ignored it, though were upset I didn’t tell them. I then came across the one picture of ftm and mtf and how ftm was uncomfortable with female presentation. And for the fact I was a tomboy who wanted the autonomy to express that, I thought it made sense, and didn’t think of it til I was 13 on Christmas. Getting tmnt stuff, so it was boy clothes for once, I remember dressing in that and hiding all my long hair in its beanie and feeling for the first time I got to be me, which I hadn’t be able to before. That was met with black lash but that’s what started the phase in mg life I dealt with til now.

It never stayed consistently. My family had made remarks of me being open about my attraction to women, brushing or blowing it off til they’d tell me to knock it off because I was too young unless it was a boy. I only liked girls cause of my depression and the fact I was overweight, I just needed a makeover so I’d quit perverting my friendships with girls like they’d remark it. It kinda buried with me “only boys like girls, you like dressing like a boy, so it equals you = boy you’re made for this”, but I only liked indulging in lesbian media. My family insisted I needed to be open minded and thst I’d find a boy, which in turn kinda made it like I needed to be open because they know me better than I do they say, and they were happy I came out as bisexual, because then that clearly means it’ll be a phase, despite the fact I don’t think people who are attracted to men literally have to pick somebody to crush on, which never worked anyway. I stayed in a constant kind of “I’m a bisexual ftm, just a higher preference of girls, then it being considered straight ftm, then back to lesbian, then me guilting myself into having to be bisexual. Can I even be bisexual when I don’t have a crush on a man or even find them that attractive?” Heaven forbid I couldn’t be friends with a boy without it being romantic. I loved Arthur Morgan for what’s really his personality, sure he’s attractive, but honestly I wouldn’t date him, but most fan fictions are romantic tied so I guess it showed up like that again. He’s a great man, we have a similar personality, but it is what it is.

I liked butch presentation, I did for a long time. I clung to masculine and butch presentation cause I fought so long for it, cause if I wasn’t angry or only dressed in boys clothing/pajamas, I didn’t get treated like a person anymore, just a “built in best friend, nanny or therapist”, it’s a mess of emotions and thoughts. I didn’t want to go through T deep down, I wanted a smaller chest sure but, I didn’t feel like I was me in male spaces, never liked or got use to male pronouns, can’t relate with men really, and since accepting it out loud, I feel better. I knew some other mental health issues could cause symptoms like gender dysphoria, and clearly it seems I was one of them. I’m still going through accepting I am a lesbian, just like before, because I’m finally removing men appeal completely from me like I wanted, from forcing male crushes to moving on from butchhood. I’m trying to explore my femininity with pride, and not let my brain or family trap me in one or the other.

This identity has never left, it’s where I started, always went back to, and have always been there. I’m not hiding or trying to fix or anything about it anymore because it’s me. It is wasn’t, I wouldn’t always be drawn back to it or feel happy with that title everytime. For anybody else who has a hard time with identity, especially thanks to a emotionally abusive insecure family, I would write down the terms and things that make me happy, and that’s helped me a lot. It seems stupid, but when you really think into it, it is it. If you’re drawn to one title, sexuality or gender identity the most, then it’d true.

Having family putting no faith in myself, no sense of autonomy or thought, ruined any sense of identity. Now that it’s finally starting to form I don’t want them to take that from me again, when I’ve worked through 8 years of torture for what was always there. Sorry to the followers who I know don’t care for it, but I tried burying the lesbianism pride for years.

Yes I know there’s a few back when I made this blog in February, but it went, mentally, more like support than for myself in those along with loving Disney femslash, but now it’s going to be more of for me then anything else cause no more living in the past,

A hair for PU-EU, Newsea Sakura J120f. AF mesh by Newsea (I made an edit, see under the cut), other ages & FtM conversion by Trapping. Polycount: 9.3k.

For best optimization, choose only one version. Download for F sims only: SFS / Mega Download for M sims only: SFS / Mega Download for F&M: SFS / Mega

They come in 12 Pooklet-Digi-Io colors (see palette), based on these textures by Kotangens + parts of the io textures I gave to Newsea Yesenia there. There's 2 sets of recolors: regular solid ones for PU-EU + recolors with grey strands for YAU-EU.

All recolors are binned and familied except for Naberius which will be in the custom bin. I use Grenade both as a blond for toddlers-adults and as a grey for elders - if you don't want Grenade for elders, just delete the file that ends with "_grenade_EUgrey".
