Did you know you can mute Sims 2 TVs?!

Entering the cheat menu ctrl+c , type floatProp tvVolume [decimal value] and get that bish lowered if you need to! The TVs are set to 0.5 automatically, so I put in floatProp tvVolume 0.0 to have it totally off. But you could also lower in increments of .1 of you just want it lower.....or I suppose put it really high if you are sadistic 😅 (sims working out with the tv and a raging "FLAMBAJAMBA" starts playing lmao)

I've been playing ts2 for 20 years and I'm ngl, I think I am at my limit with hearing every gat dang channel/movie on loop for all eternity.

I don't know why/how I didn't know there was a cheat to lower the volume (or mute completely!) the TVs!

Keep in mind, if your Sim is in the middle of watching TV *when you enter the cheat code*, you will need to turn it off and back on in order for the volume to change. I think I had to do this for each household I play, and/or each time I boot up the game.

Once the grogginess wore off (and it soon did; Meda’s news made sure of that), Jeremy’s feelings could only be described as totally pumped.

Jeremy: “We’re really having another baby? Oh my Watcher, Meda, that’s— that’s— Oh my Watcher! Come here. . . . I'm going to be here from the very beginning this time. I'm not going to miss a second.”

Jeremy was torturing me with this Have a Baby want. I didn't feel like he and Meda really needed any more children—they have two teens and they're both somewhere in their forties the way I figure sim ages. I chalked the want up to him feeling a little sad to be seeing the girls growing up so quickly; his desire for a baby was more about wishing he could turn back the clock than about actually wanting another child. But he not only kept rolling this want; it kept not re-rolling. It stuck around for days.

It finally got to the point where I told myself that if the want stuck around for one more day, I would let them try for another baby . . . and then, almost at that very moment, Meda got pregnant via a risky ACR woohoo.

Pregnant via risky woohoo in her forties! Sometimes even as the Watcher you have to acknowledge a higher Sim power at work.

So yep, another little Coulson is on their way. Wish Meda and Jeremy luck. ;)
