MY NEW HOBBY! For Christmas, Nick bought me a sewing machine. So far I have made 3 teddy bears 🧸 , a table runner and now 2 pairs of tinker bell shorts for Millie this summer ☀️using fat quarters from @aldiuk . I’m super proud of myself because these literally took me the whole weekend, a hell of a lot of frustration and a bucket load of confusion. The pair on the left are my second pair (and the better ones), not bad for my first attempt at garment construction. Dirty mirrors kill me... Ms Rs going to be cleaning this one... gross.... ok, a few adjustments to this before finishing it up. Take up in shoulders another 3/8", under arms to waist w/grading into 1 1/2" each side taken in 3" total. I went ahead and bought more of this fabric.l from @hawthornethreads today. Just in case for a second one, this has some issues and isn't wearable in public, lol. So, I want to make it from scratch one more time.
