Alright no more putting it off! I have a few of those requests started but lack of time has made me drag my feet. No more! Though I'll be closing them now and powering through as many of these as I can just cause I really do want to give you lovely people some lovely art!!!!!

I'll try and power through one a day. And eventually I'll be through the ones I can do! Again, I won't be able to do everyone's and I'm sorry for that. But I do wanna get a good chunk of them done!!!!

The Banan' Meme Has Lore??? (2/11)

The year? 2002.

It was kind of unexpected. This sudden success wasn't instant, either - he had remained fairly hidden from the public for nearly a year; now being dragged into a flash animation and set to do his usual dance while a song about peanut butter, jelly, and baseball bats played. And the more people played the flash animation, the more the internet became familiar with his silly dance.

Not long after, even TV shows would make references to him with this same dance. And online videos of humans dressed in banana suits singing and dancing to the same tune.

At first, he wasn't even aware of the attention. Not until he made himself more visible to the public that the humans began cheering him on any time they see his dance.

And for the first time ever.... he began to feel.... well. He didn't know how to describe it.

He may be already smiling before, but this time this was different. Like, getting all this... positive attention? The joy? The happiness of making people laugh and dance along?

...You know what. This is fine. As long as the world wide web's happy, he's happy.

And he'll continue to dance if it means it'll stay that way.
