🎮 You happily handed him a list of some ideas for your wedding, to which he just sighed and set his headphones down to read over. Ever since College ended, he had been working more and more with S.T.Y.X., so whenever he got some free time, he'd either play games or rest with you

🎮 More than not, he would just sleep with you right beside him. The guy's tried, give him a break

🎮 But, when he proposed, he did not expect such a long list of things you guys needed to decide on for your wedding. He figured that you'd have it all laid out and not worry about it like a character in a show/movie

The way you link in technology in when you speak, the way you furrow your eyebrows when speaking, to the way your eyes shimmer when you find like or do something successfully, it's all enchanting to me. And I never want to let that enchantment go. And I never plan on it. I love you so much, Idia, forever and always."

🎮 He smiled at you as the Minister called for the rings, making Ortho come up and hand you both your wedding wings. Yours to Idia's being black with dark-blue colored edges, while Idia's to you was also black-ringed with a shining blue, heart-shaped gemstone on the top

🎮 You looked into his eyes once more as you placed the jewelry on his ring-finger while he did the exact same afterwards. All of his anxiety was now gone, nobody else was there besides you and him in his mind. You two were the only things that mattered

"You may kiss the bride." The Minister announced, stepping back for you both.

🎮 Idia lifted your veil before grabbing your waist and holding one side of your cheek with his hand and laying his forehead on yours, slowly moving to close the gap between your lips

summary: you were extremely cool, being able to fix his uncle's car's issue in a flash while also being super cute in his eyes–man, you make him forget all the lessons his uncle gave him about impressing girls, you make him feel so... foolish and in love. word count: 511

miles was sitting down on a chair by the mechanic's garage, waiting for the repair person to get there. his uncle aaron had been complaining about his car's condition for quite some time now, and just recently did he start lightening up about it, after he found out about a mechanic nearby that didn't charge too much.

not long after, a girl in the mechanic's uniform came in with tools and dirty gloves and a pair of goggles on her head. she immediately got to work on uncle aaron's car. "tio, this girl's the mechanic you found?" he asked his uncle and looked at him quizzically, to which the latter responded with a nod. "a natural, ain't she?" he asked miles with a grin as miles nodded back. "i mean, she's getting the job of two people done way faster." he pointed out as the girl came out from underneath the car in an instant.

uncle aaron and miles went over to her as she explained what issues she saw with the car and what might need to be fixed next time. miles caught himself staring at her and only realized he was when he thought to himself how familiar this girl seemed, but she also didn't seem like an acquaintance of his. he had to admit, though, she was a real cutie–a smart, talented, quick to work cutie.

his uncle aaron glanced at miles and nudged at his arm. "y'know her? your eyes are saying so." he teased miles as he shook his head and shrugged. "i know i've seen her before at school, never talked to her though." he said briefly as his uncle called her over. miles' eyes widened as she turned around and made eye contact with the two. "this is my nephew, miles, miles morales. he attends brooklyn visions academy, too–your boss said you're from there, yeah?" he asked her as she nodded and got a good look at miles.

"yeah, i know you." she said briefly with a crooked smile which miles reciprocated with his own widening one. he tried to play it cool though, as his uncle aaron always taught him, but it was so hard to do when miles was face to face with such a cool and cute girl. "i'll be right back, gotta talk to your boss real quick. miles, keep her company for a little bit." his uncle said as he walked off, with miles stuttering and stammering a reply his uncle couldn't hear as he left.

you took off your goggles to get a better look at him, which made miles a little more flustered because your eyes underneath just looked so adorable. you introduced yourself to him, and miles blurted out, "ah, yeah, i remember your name." "you do?" you asked with a hint of curiosity as miles' eyes widened and he tried to calm down again. Half fic, half hc. A normal reader comes across DG

DG came across you on one of his lonelier nights.

He knows he shouldn't be reading articles and posts trashing him, but curiosity killed the cat.

His ego is feeling uncharacteristically bruised until he comes across your comment.

You're sweet, supportive and understanding of how hard it can be in the public eye. It cheers him up that some fans still see him as human.

He takes note of your social media name but doesn't take it any further.

Fate brings you together at a fan event (actually no, your meet and greet tickets did) but the first thing that draws DG to you is your eye contact.

He's met many fans and almost all of them avoided looking at him and were giggly and shy. It's to be expected. You are the first one that looked at him squarely head on.

You didn't go crazy or ask for a lock of his hair (like some of the other more wild fans), but thanked him for what he doing in the industry.

You're articulate even as pink dusts your cheeks.

And then you kept talking and you repeat what he read that night.

He files away that info for later.

When DG finally has his moment of peace, he quickly taps in that username in the hopes that it's you.

It is.

The same person in the profile pic that posted the kind comment is also who he met mere hours ago.

It brings a little smile to his face.

Another lonely night, without any practice schedules, PTJ Entertainment issues or James Lee loose ends meant DG had time on his hands.

He could feel your hesitation across the screen. Usually so full of life and excitement and emotion, this simple one worded response isn't like you.

He backtracks but you're now the one insisting.

A date and location is set.

In a quiet coffee shop, set away from the main street but popular enough to not be too secluded, DG finally meets you in person again.

Did he truly think you were normal the first time he met you? How odd.

Because now he finds you radiant, beaming, glittering. Like sunshine, like moonlight.

Anything but normal.

He calls you over, and your eyes light up as you go to meet him.

You greet him by his username, but freeze when he pulls his mask down. That face would be recognised by all of Seoul.

"DG?!"

This meet up doesn't last long.

You flee in embarassment, having spilled all your secrets to one of the most famous man in South Korea as he kept his identity and life hidden away from you.

DG understands how you must how felt, the mortification. And the deception as he hid the biggest secret from you most of all.

He sits with his head in his hands.

DG doesn't hear from you for a few days, and the distance and silence feels cavernous.

It hits him like a truck that over time, you became his confidant, his best friend. Someone he could talk to and feel like a person.

He is the first one to reach out and he apologises.

He says what he can about his life, his current life. Hoping that this makes it up to you somehow.

That he promises to be truthful to you, where he can, but there are still some things he's not ready to say.

That he understands you feeling betrayed he kept his identity secret, especially during all those times you unknowingly gushed about how much you liked him.

That even though it was fair to keep his identity a secret, he should have told you as soon as it was appropriate. A lot sooner than at the cafe.

That this was something he started because of his ego, but continued because he likes you.

That he's never felt this closeness with anyone else.

That he's not sure if anyone has ever seen him properly as a person. Until you.

That he would like a second chance. Please.

Hope against hope, you eventually respond.

You ask to meet again in the same place.

All the brothers serve vital purposes for the Resistance.

(I'm including Raph cause I don't exactly remember them mentioning when he died and I'm a Simp so good luck trying to take me alive.)

So obviously they would also be like Leo and also be in a position of power that makes it hard to say no too. Donatello can be like the electric company and say "No (y/n)? No power for you!

Mikey? Probably use some of his ✨magic hands✨and literally abuse his power and brainwash his s/o or somethin'. If the dude can send a fifteen year old back in time, he can do mind control. I mean he already has a pretty good idea of the emotional workings of the mind.

Future Raph? Again I don't remember them actually mentioning when he died so I'm basically improvising. In my opinion what would end up happening would be Raph being the emotionally sensitive type of person would cling to whatever type of support he could get. Maybe it's something about your nature? Or possibly something you do that catches the hurt boi's attention/affections. Buuut now it's Savage Raph time if he doesn't have his emotional support s/o.

okay let me finally show you my updated f/o list!! I am also planning to add some s/i info but tbh i still havent gotten to it cause im procrastinating it while trying to relax doing other stuff klsdksj here it is!! now if you'd let me, Imma talk a bit about the changes just because

I wanted to get a bit more specific mentioning platonic f/os so even if I like many characters in sources like Obey Me, you can now see which characters I think my s/i would be the closest with :D!! I also played a bit with labels ig but I read this fic where Mammon said there was no need "to be anything" as long as we were in peace with each other and I felt that on a spiritual lvl so instead of overthinking how to label f/os sometimes I just put him as unlabeled lol I just love self inserting in his world being really close to him and he's my fav character of the game and all but ig it becomes hard sometimes to try to fit that into something so I said whatever, it's my little self insert world and they can do whatever they want that brings me comfort XD yknow, sometimes partnering concepts just feel off but at the same time I enjoy saying I am a Mammon simp cause I love the character so it's a bit of a mess in my brain sometimes, trying to make both my experience as a player and my s/i's fit for my best comfort

talking about labels, I've decided to put all the Golden Deer as platonic soulmates :D! I think it suits us all and all the unique bonds they form with each other, and I thought that the whole thing of my s/i probably having this huge feeling of admiration and loyalty towards Claude felt better like this somehow, like it's a part of my s/i lore and not so much about what their relationship can be or not? I dont know if this makes sense worded like this but it seems to work out in my head XD I still plan to someday develop my s/i's story a lot so who knows

anyway, FRIENDS AND FAMILY!! I feel like it's pretty obvious that I've started to play Honkai Star Rail because suddenly I got a friend, a brother and a father from there- listen everytime I see the Astral Express Family written in the groupchat I emotionally cry happy tears (also I wouldnt be surprised if i ended up also f/oing Himeko in the future lmao, I love found families can you tell)

💍🎮 You walked around the campus with your headphones blaring the playlist that Yuu had made you the day prior. It was very energetic, which you appreciated

💍🎮 The announcement of a Ghost Bride coming by was shown to everyone in the vicinity, but you believed you would be far from her taste. You were far from the average person, from a young age you got intro trouble, which became to much for your body to handle

💍🎮 You had run through the nearby forest when you were young and ended up getting your body extremely injured during your little 'quest'. Thankfully, a passerby found you and brought you to the hospital where they had to give you multiple surgeries to amputate the right arm, both legs, and left eye of yours replaced or enhanced

💍🎮 Because of the enhancements made, you had a full tech-based pair of legs, single arm, and parts of it inside of your eye. Growing up was hard after that, as you grew fearful of the outside world and became a recluse, but you were growing out of your shell since you met Yuu and they began helping you talk to others again

💍🎮 You adored the magic-less human, while many found him annoying and a waste of space at the school, you thought they fit in perfectly. After all, what human of no value could handle things like overblots multiple times without dying?

💍🎮 As your mind raced with the thoughts of your human companion and his cat, Grim, you failed to hear the sounds of movement behind you. Only when you felt something rush past you that you took your headphones off and readied your magic wand, veins starting to glow as your magical energy charged for a spell

"In your dressing room, Lord/Lady L/N." He answered, adding a tiny brooch on the lapel of the suit jacket.

💍🎮 The ghost then floated to the door and nodded at two ghost knights, causing them to come inside and begin dragging you out of the room and down the halls. You yelled, trying to get out of their grasp, but you kept failing. Despite being dead, they were extremely strong with their grip

"Let me go, you sick assholes!"

"I recommend you stay silent unless you wish to disrespect your future wife."

"My future what?!"

🎮 Ortho rushed through the halls at full-speed. Ignihyde dorm members were all balled up in their rooms while he dashed by, they all knew that it was the little robot who was going by, but they could care less about the entire issue at the moment

🎮 As he approached his brother's room, he checked the Night Raven College's camera footage and his eyes widened even more as he saw you being practically dragged down the aisle to where that ghost bride stood, awaiting your presence across from her

"Big brother! Y/N needs help!" He yelled.

🎮 Idia jumped and screamed, clinging onto a nearby blanket as his heart pounded quickly in fear. He then stood up with a small shake as he asked what was going on with Ortho

"Y/N needs help, Idia!"

"What do you mean? Did their arms or something start glitching? They've fixed it before..."

"No, big brother... you remember the announcement about the Ghost Bride?"

"...yeah?"

"She has Y/N! They're all dressed up and everything so the bride can marry them!"

"WHAT?!" He yelled, hair going from a calm, almost ocean-like blue, to a vibrant orange and red, matching the fire it looked like.

🎮 Ortho nodded and began to recant everything he heard from the other first years. As the third-year listened to the boys telling him everything that happened, from being kicked out for trying to save you from your dressing room to making their plan to get back inside to get you back safe

"Idia, you need to help save them."

"Do I need too?"

"YES."

"...fine."

💍 Eliza smiled as you were walked down the aisle to where you would stand across from her. She always wanted this, the perfect spouse. She always believed she was to marry a prince that fit her description down to the dot, but now she wanted you, not that old dream instilled in her

💍 You kept struggling against the guards as the other NRC students watched with slight fear and guilt for you being in this situation. Everyone knew you had some issues with being forced in things, but this was a whole other level

"My future spouse, you look amazing." Eliza said as you stood across from her, arms still bound behind your back.

"Please... let me go." You said.

"I'm sorry, but no. You'll understand after a while."

💍 As the Minister opened his book to speak the whole story to you both, the doors were slammed open and there revealed Ortho, eyes overwhelmed with anger, the other first years (including Yuu and Grim), with matching expressions, and Idia, who's hair was erupted in complete rage

"Let Y/N go."

"Yeah! They asked nicely more times than necessary!" Yuu yelled.

💍🎮 The Ghost Bride narrowed her eyes in anger as she began yelling about how inconsiderate they were of her special day

"I'll give you one last warning, you blue brat. Let my S/O go, or I'll open the gates of the Underworld and throw you from your neck back to the pits where you deserve to be!"

💍🎮 Eliza flinched and screamed, sending her many guards after the group while everyone else watched in shock. You began to struggle again, making a guard look at you and grab your arm, twisting it backwards more to hurt you

"Sucks for you, buddy. My right arm isn't even real." You said, sending your head back to bash him backwards.

💍🎮 The guard when flying as the other boys saw you fight back with your arms pulled backwards. You then heard Epel yell your name, he ran up and pulled out a knife. How he had that without Vil knowing, you really could care less, if it got you out, it got you out

"Thanks, Epel." You said, taking your body and throwing it to get some of the guards down.

💍🎮 A scream was the thing that burst everyone out of their fights. You looked backwards and saw Idia standing above the princess, anger ever so present on his face. He glared at her and gave her one of the most horrifying threats you ever heard leave his mouth

"If you touch my S/O again, I'll take my magic pen and make you fall so many times down into the Underworld that you'll wish you died a second time, got me?"

💍🎮 You sighed and ran up to them, pushing them farther apart. Idia snapped out of his anger and looked at you closer. He was shocked. You look absolutely amazing in your outfit. Those ghosts may have kidnapped you, but they knew how to dress you

"Idia, I'm fine now. Let the Ghost Bride lady go."

"Princess Eliza, are you alright?!" A guard yelled as he helped her up from the ground.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine."

💍🎮 Idia looked at you and sighed, hugging you. It was obvious that he blocked everyone else out and only saw you there at the moment, as he was being very bold at the moment

"Eliza, is it?" You asked.

"Yeah."

"Do you know what consent is?" You asked again, making her eyes slightly widen.

"What?"

"Do you know what consent is?"

"It's the permission to do something with someone, why?"

"Do you think you had my consent to do this wedding with me being the one betrothed to you?"

"...No."

"Then why would you proceed with this idea?"

"I don't... I don't know..."

"If you want love this badly, just look behind you. He obviously cares about you more than anyone I've ever seen. What guard looks at their princess with so much care that they would risk everything for them? Certainly not one that views them platonically, that's for sure."

💍🎮 Eliza looked at the guard, whom was named Puffy, with a shocked expression and they spoke. Confronting one another and their possible feelings and future

💍🎮 You just smiled as Puffy confessed and took your good arm and grabbed Idia's hand, pulling him gently away from the crowd to a more secluded area to speak by yourselves

"I can't believe you came in here with so much confidence. I always thought I'd only see you look like that by yourself playing a video game." You joked, making Idia fluster and look away.

"But. Thank you so much for doing this for me. I love you, Idia."

“Donnie, how much longer until we get to your parents house?” Jamie grumbled. Donald laughed at his partners grumpy pout. “It’s onlie ah couple more minotes, sweetheart.” The Scottish twins, Donald and Douglas, were taking their partners, Jamie and Emily, to their parents house for dinner. The house was a couple minutes away from the nearest station, so the group had to walk.

Eventually, they arrived at the house. It was a small, single floor, brick house. Douglas glanced back at their two partners. “Ah, smal’ warnin’ loves. Our othah brothahs are a bi’...odd.” He commented as Donald unlocked the door. Right as the door swung open, a bucket of water was tossed right in Donalds face. “Gah, you stupid little twats!” Donald yelled, as two younger boys laughed. “S-Sorry Don.” One of them said, wheezing from how hard he was laughing. “Boys? What’s goin’ on out there?” A voice called out. Donald sighed “Hey pa, me and Dougie are home.” Everyone walked inside and the two younger lads had finally composed themselves. “Hey, I’m Dash!” the one with cyan hair chriped. “And I’m Bash!” the orange haired one finished. “So, you two are the younger brothers?” Emily commented. “Yep!” the twins chirped.

A man walked out from the kitchen and looked over at Donald in his soaked uniform. “What happened Donald?” he commented. “Ah, ‘bout that. Those little twats chucked a bucket o’ watah on me when I opened tha door.” Donald mumbled. The older man sighed. “Go changed you two.” The Scottish twins walked off to go get changed and the man turned to face the two new comers. “Ah, you two must be Jamie and Emily. I’m Diesel, but everyone calls me D.T.” D.T said, sticking out his prosetchic hand out. “Pleasure to meet you sir.” Emily said, shaking his hand. Jamie followed after. “Go sit on the couch, dinner will be ready soon.”

Douglas came out of his room first. He sat next to Emily on the couch. “Hey Dougie. You look beautiful.” Emily purred. “Ah, thanks love.” Douglas replied. In the silence that followed, a very clear sound rang out. Thud. Click. Thud. Click. Douglas glanced towards the hall and smiled. “Hey dad. Jamie and Emily are here.” As Douglas said that, another male with a crutch came into view. “Ah, thank you for telling me....” the male trailed of, suddenly seeming lost in thought. Douglas sighed. “Douglas, dad. My name is Douglas. Your other eldest is Donald.” “Right, thank you dear.” the male sighed. “Now, whos this young lady?” he hummed. “T’is my girlfriend, Emily.” Douglas said, as Emily stood up and shook the mans hand. “Hello dear. I’m Alex, Douglas’ father.” Alex said. Jamie smiled. “I’m Jamie, Donalds partner.” Alex shook Jamie’s hand, as Donald walked out. “Ah, I see you’ve met Jamie, dad.” he said with a smile. D.T poked his head out from the kitchen. “Time for dinner.”

Alex hummed to himself as he was getting ready for bed. Dinner had gone well, Jamie and Emily seemed nice, and his two eldest boys were happy. Jamie and Emily were staying the night. Alex couldn’t help but think about the future. How the boys would propose, what the weddings would like, and even what their possible kids could look like. Alex sighed and shook his head, slipping into bed next to his husband. “God, I’m really getting old.” he thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

W-wow.......this year sure flew by for me......L-like a ride in Her Radiance's arms as she flies through the air.....

H-hard to believe that exactly a year ago, I was STILL working on MUOM.....I-I think I was in the process of writing chapter 3, if I remember correctly.....? So, I was a good ways in.....or so I thought.....I was unaware of just how much longer it'd take me to finish it.....

Gotta say, despite how draining the experience was in certain places (I still feel bad that writing it took so much of my excitement away from Eurovision this year, for example.....but also, the entire process of writing chapter 11, holy craaaap), writing and finishing MUOM was still by fair the best thing to happen to me this year. J-just.....the fact that I, of all people, ADHD extraordinaire, was actually able to maintain a schedule around, consistently work on without losing interest in, and complete, a 400,000+ word fic coasting on nothing but love for my F/O.....I-it sounds crazy.....b-but it actually happened.....A-a miracle most likely never to be repeated.....

A-and what made it even better was the constant praise from fellow simps who followed along with me. Th-thank you Viv and Spindlehorse for giving great Hellaverse content with more to come. Helluva Boss season 2 ended SO well with two of the best episodes of the whole show, and Hazbin Hotel finally being released after a four-year-long wait was not only satisfying, but watching it and sharing my blind reactions to it was some of the most joy I felt this year.

A-as for next year.....M-my resolution for 2024 was to finish MUOM. This year.....I-I think it's something less specific, and that's just....to keep up the momentum with my writing, and work on the oneshots I said I wanna write. I-I'm not gonna push myself to write them ALL as soon as possible, cuz I wanna pace myself, but.....a-at least a couple, I'm aiming for. Starting with the one that won the poll.

Admittedly, th-these past couple months, I-I've been.....worrying a bit, about the future of my content, and Golden Cheese's fanbase. I-if what I predicted last month is true, a-and we won't be getting new in-game content of her until 2026 (besides her COTY reward), th-then.....I-it really is up to fan content to keep interest in her alive until we see her again, and hopefully, people will stick around while I write more of her. A-anyone who doesn't wanna is free to go, but.....f-for as long as people wanna keep loving and talking to me about our radiant queen, I hope the food I provide is good enough. And my askbox is always open. ^////////^

Possibly not seeing my F/O again until 2026, no Hellaverse stuff for a long time outside of shorts, which might also mean not until 2026.....I-if I don't get these promised fics done, 2025 will be a nothingburger of a year for me (outside of, well, playing CRK like always)......so, I-I don't wanna be on hiatus for too long. Absolutely!!

Ooooh boy, it's a bit hard to know exactly how many, but as far as I've counted I added 45 new F/Os to the list this year!! And 2 secret ones as well!!

2. Was anyone considered for the F/O list but didn't quite make the cut?

Hmm.. None that come to mind right now!

I still simp for certain characters without getting overly attached, but usually I don't even consider adding them to the list to begin with lol

A. What was your favorite part of this year with S/I?

I will admit that I have most certainly missed the attention... I haven't been on the spotlight like this for around three years. It feels nice to be appreciated with this much dedication.

My favorite part, however, was being able to watch Ghosty come up with their own vessel for my universe.

In a way we're both cosmic entities in each other's perspectives and I couldn't have asked for a manifestation of them as perfect and as genuine as Emerie.

B. Are you planning on making any New Year's resolutions with S/I?

I feel as if worrying about the future may cause more harm than good, taking into consideration what's become of me because of the relentless pursuit of a cure for my ailments...

We shall see where each day leads us, but one objective is clear and certain: our love will grow and blossom, reaching much further than what it currently does.

C. If you could spend New Year's with S/I anywhere, where would you go?

Hm... I remember Emerie mentioning how fascinating fireworks are for her, but that the loud sounds can sometimes be upsetting, overwhelming even.

Would it be too melodramatic to say that I wish we could spend our new year's eve among the stars? That way I could have her witness all the beautiful colors of the sky while having no worries about sudden explosions and deafening noises.

D. What's something you would like to do with S/I next year?

Seeing as how our relationship took quite the leap, from a simple couple to having our very souls bound for multiple lifetimes, I would like to do whatever is within my reach to help them achieve their goals.

To have them evolve into a better, happier, version of themselves... That would be my perfect masterpiece, and proof of my still existing emotions to all naysayers.
