Top 4 Nettles (Fire & Blood) fan casts, go!
My perfect Nettles would have a sweet face, but she could pull off playing someone who has seen some things. She has to be vulnerable yet resilient. Now I know Nettles' canonical age, but because of certain implications and how psychotic this fandom is, I wouldn’t go with an actor younger than her mid-20s. So with that in mind:
Sophie Wilde. She is literally my dreamcast and she will probably never be Nettles, but she’s got the perfect face to play her. She’s amazing at playing vulnerable characters with some fire to them.

Karla Simone-Spence. Now she is a much more realistic Nettles because she’s not doing anything currently and she’s been in mainly smaller British productions🤷🏽♀️

Simona Brown. She should be in more things and she appears to be in between projects.

And finally, Crystal Clarke who is also another actress in between projects currently. Technically she’s who I originally had in mind when I thought of Nettles. To me she visionally fits her description(it’s mainly the height and when her hair is in its natural state, that does it for me).

#nettles#nettles fancasts#nettles asoiaf#nettles f&b#George if nothing else just write that novella 🤦🏽♀️#hotd#house of the dragon

i did some instagram sleuthing through some hashtags and found a few casting matches for Opera Populaire people!!
Simona Scotti was Exotica, Annalisa Galbati (i think that's how her last name is spelled) was Bill Bailey, Ambra Romano was Jennyanydots, Valentina Sala was Victoria, and Laura Poletti was Tantomile!
those are the ones i could find so far!! WHY MUST THESE MATCHES BE HIDDEN FROM US
(tbh at least it's a little easier finding info on this show more than finding info on kilworth 😭😭)
THANK YOU SO MUCH, BESTIE!
You have made this little quest of mine so much easier! <3

Super excited to share another collaboration with the beautiful @aelemercier ‼️

A HILARIOUS, STEAMY GAY REALITY TV POLY ROMANCE. Against his better judgment, Captain Harrison Pearce, Jr, has allowed his surrogate daughter to talk him into starring on her reality TV show, "The Catch", with its first all-male cast. Now the new queer Mr. Catch has been thrust into the spotlight - and the stresses of reality TV - with eleven men vying for his favor. Soon, Harrison finds himself torn between the affections of the handsome Lord Patrick Montgomery, muscle-daddy Sebastian Cruz, and beautiful, troubled Adrian Fisher... all with their own secrets. Can Harrison find the courage to own up to his feelings before he misses his chance with all three... or worse, his potential-boyfriends all run off with each other?
"The Bitchelor" is a 27,000 word love story filled with erotic polyamorous encounters and comedic show-business shenanigans, where finding love in multiple unexpected places might just lead to happy endings and ratings gold.

Do you have facecasts or fanarts that look like how you imagine the marauders, lily, and snape?
Yes I do, mostly! Some of them are kind of rough approximations. The day I find someone who is perfect for James is the day my life will be complete. When I can, I try to find people from the 70s, but that's not always possible obviously.
Here are the Marauders, Lily, and Snape.
I've also done the Death Eater gang.
And since I've never posted these formally, I'll add these guys:
Bellatrix: Eva Green. This is just my opinion but they should have cast her. They straight up should have cast her. She would have been PERFECT, the PERFECT Bellatrix. It's not that HBC didn't smash it cause she did, I just don't think she was much like book Bellatrix. I mean, the accent for starters.... god. ANYWAY.
THE HEAVILY LIDDED EYES of it all! The haughty, imperial air, regal good looks!! And I KNOW she could have pulled off the post-Azkaban terrifying insanity. HBC plays bellatrix as like a character from sweeney todd and it's... okay, an iconic performance but doesn't have much to do with book Bella, who is a very aristocratic character and Would Not Speak Like That.
Petunia: Susan George. She just has such a Tuneyish quality to me.

Mary MacDonald: Simona Brown. Obv this is just Mary from my own fic but I love herrrr....

Marlene McKinnon: I know freya mavor is (or was) the popular fancast but I do think it's good, its believable and just got stuck in my brain as Marlene. The fact she's scottish is a bonus

#replies#bellatrix#marlene#mary#I dislike a lot of the popular fcs because i think they often dont look enough like normal people from the uk lol

I have a feeling she's playing the therapist! I was kinda bummed at first because I thought she was playing the ai friend but the therapist seems interesting and the kind of role she'd go for
Hello, anon!
As I said in this post, I read the OG story "Windows."
Natasha is described as a woman in her 30's with curly black hair, so she will be probably played by the italian actress Simona Tabasco. This is not the first time this movie is attempted to be made, in the past the actresses casted to play Natasha were Rachel Weisz, and later Jennifer Connelly, both with dark hair.
In the OG story there's not even a therapist, there's just a character called "the man in the brown suit", that interacts with both Mickey and Natasha in different times, with Mickey at the very beginning, and with Natasha at the very end.
The whole love triangle between Mickey, Natasha and the Therapist, and the virtual child, are not from the OG story, so those plots are added by the writer/director Goran Dukic.
~~~
So, if not Natasha, I'm more than OK with Sophie as the therapist or the man in the brown suit:
~~~
Thanks for your message :)

Woody Allen and John Turturro in Fading Gigolo (John Turturro, 2013)
Cast: John Turturro, Woody Allen, Vanessa Paradis, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone, Sofia Vergara, Bob Balaban, Michael Badalucco, Tonya Pinkins. Screenplay: John Turturro. Cinematography: Marco Pontecorvo. Production design: Lester Cohen. Film editing: Simona Paggi.
A lot about John Turturro's Fading Gigolo, from story to casting, doesn't work, but like other films he wrote and directed, it's so sweetly eccentric that I don't mind. The premise is this: When the bookstore he owns goes out of business, Murray (Woody Allen) persuades his friend Fioravante (Turturro) to go to work as a male prostitute, with Murray as his procurer. Of course, if you believe that a man in his mid-50s, as Turturro was when he made the film, is going to become a success as a gigolo, then you're well prepared to accept other improbabilities that the script throws at you. Like, for instance, that the idea was implanted in Murray's mind by his dermatologist, played by Sharon Stone, who mentions to him that she and her girlfriend (Sofia Vegara) would like to find a man for a three-way and would be willing to pay for it. And that Murray is living with a Black woman (Tonya Pinkins) with three small sons, and when one of them comes down with head lice, he takes the boy to a woman living in a Hasidic neighborhood in Brooklyn for treatment. She's Avigal (Vanessa Paradis), a widow who hasn't allowed a man to touch her since her husband died, though she's caught the attention of Dovi (Liev Schreiber), who works for a neighborhood watch group. And that Murray somehow persuades Avigal that Fioravante is a massage therapist, so when he touches her it releases all her pent-up emotions and they start to fall in love, which attracts the attention of Dovi who has Murray "arrested" by his group and taken before a rabbinic court. And ... you see where this is going. Or not. Although the credited screenwriter is Turturro alone, Fading Gigolo plays almost like a parody of an early Woody Allen film, so much so that it's hard to believe that he didn't have a hand in it. There's even a soundtrack of jazz standards that resembles those of Allen's movies. Turturro pulls off this oddity of a film by never letting it escape into the raunchy territories that the premise threatens to explore. The best reaction to it might be a puzzled smile.

ABBOT MACARIUS AND 34 MONKS AND NOVICES OF VALAAM MONASTERY MARTYRED BY THE LUTHERANS
In Memoriam: hieromonk Titus, schemamonk Tikhon, monks Gelasius, Sergius, Varlaam, Sabbas, Conon, Silvester, Cyprian, Pimen, John, Simonas, Jonah, David, Cornelius, Niphon, Athanasius, and Serapion, and novices Varlaam, Athanasius, Anthony, Luke, Leontius, Thomas, Dionysius, Philip, Ignatius, Basil, Pachomius, Basil, Theophilus, John, Theodore, and John (1578).
ST. BESSARION THE GREAT, WONDERWORKER OF EGYPT (466)
Saint Bessarion, Wonderworker of Egypt was an Egyptian. He was baptized while still in his youth, and he led a strict life, striving to preserve the grace given him during Baptism. Seeking to become more closely acquainted with the monastic life, he journeyed to the holy places. He was in Jerusalem, he visited Saint Gerasimus (March 4) in the Jordanian wilderness, he viewed other desert monasteries, and assimilated all the rules of monastic life.
Upon his return, he received monastic tonsure and became a disciple of Saint Isidore of Pelusium (February 4). Saint Bessarion took a vow of silence, and partook of food only once a week. Sometimes he remained without food or drink for forty days. Once, the saint stood motionless for forty days and forty nights without food or sleep, immersed in prayer.
Saint Bessarion received from God the gift of wonderworking. When his disciple was very thirsty, he sweetened bitter water. By his prayer the Lord sent rain upon the earth, and he could cross a river as if on dry land. With a single word he cast out devils, but he did this privately to avoid glory.
His humility was so great that once, when a priest ordered someone from the skete to leave church for having fallen into sin, Bessarion also went with him saying, “I am a sinner, too.” Saint Bessarion slept only while standing or sitting. A large portion of his life was spent under the open sky in prayerful solitude. He peacefully departed to the Lord in his old age.

1 JOHN 2:18-3:10
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us-eternal life. 26These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
MARK 11:1-11
1 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; 2 and He said to them, "Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. 3 And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord has need of it,' and immediately he will send it here. 4 So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. 5 But some of those who stood there said to them, "What are you doing, loosing the colt?" 6 And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go. 7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. 8 And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:"Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' 10 Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" 11 And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Ethan actually seems very righteous and set on keeping up his word w things he can keep up and that’s why u see him being very consistent with activism too. That’s also why his relationship philosophy matters to him so much because ultimately they’re all personal morals in some way. To be fair he also doesn’t hide things imo, he’s always been open about being poly, liking hookups etc.
Btw he also really seems to despise cheating (watch how he calls out one of the cast members of Baby in their interview for netflix—no one else says anything but he speaks up, he also makes grossed out faces when they ask about cheating in interviews, etc,) so that’s why he prefers to keep things open because attraction is pretty natural, knows his limits and probably doesn’t want to hurt people behind their backs like that
According to simona, they were non mono but he’d even asked her permission to flirt with a girl he thought was attractive add honestly that’s responsible/interesting for a 19yr old famous kid who could’ve just done what he wanted

Who would you cast as nettles besides Sophie Wilde
Like if you had a list who would you cast as nettles?
Honestly if you are asking my ultimate pick(even over Sophie) it would be Tiffany Boone. Yes she’s a little bit too old to play Nettles and she’s American, but she looks young and she’s a fantastic actress who should be in more things.
She emotes so well👏🏽
Next up would probably be Karla Simone-Spence cause she’s another great emoter and she’s actually British.
@asiababy1903 one time mentioned Dominique Fishback for Nettles and I could see it(she would definitely make my shortlist).
Finally, Simona Brown. She’s British and was one of my original fancasts. She’s got such a kind face and I just picture Netty being a real sweetheart and her being “foul-mouthed” as really just a cover so people don’t mess with her.
Honestly, I’d put as long as the girl is a good emoter(that’s my main requirement) I’d put her on my list.

Review: The Cup and the Lip - Elizabeth Ferrars

Title: The Cup and the Lip Author: Elizabeth Ferrars Series: N/A Release Date: 1975 Publisher: HarperCollins Rating: 4 stars
Favourite character: Peter Least favourite character: Kate
Mini-Review: Okay so this was amazing as usual. I love Elizabeth Ferrars books, her writing is just… ugh, I love it. My reason for it not being 5 stars is because of the ending. Not the reveal of the whodunnit, that shocked me. No the romance subplot that was never followed through on. I feel cheated.
Fan Cast: Peter Harkness - Harry Lloyd Gina Marston - Ellie Bamber Max Rowley - Tom Burke Kate Rowley - Olivia Colman Juliet Weldon - Laura Carmichael Walter Weldon - Martin Freeman Helen Braile - Clare Holman Anna Weinstock - Celia Imrie Adrian Rolfe - Aaron Taylor-Johnson Daniel Braile - Bill Nighy Arthur - Harry Holland Cliff Paton - Anthony Boyle Rosie Paton - Simona Brown Detective Superintendent Crabtree - Alex Price

Cloud One is adapted from a erotic story by Etgar Keret WINDOWS published in Playboy Magazine. If Sophie is going to play the virtual friend then she about to film sex scenes for this movie with Boyd Holbrook
Hello anon,
I read the OG story "Windows."
I don't consider it a erotic story, there are sex scenes between Mickey and Natasha, and between two other secondary characters but none of them are graphic and none of them longer than a paragraph or even a couple of lines.
The whole love triangle between Mickey, Natasha and the Therapist, and the virtual child are not from the OG story, so those plots are added by the writer/director Goran Dukic.
Natasha is described as a woman in her 30's with curly black hair, so she will be probably played by the italian actress Simona Tabasco.
