Collars of Duty 1
Hybrid!Simon x reader - Chapter 2 -
When a new problem hybrid is brought to the rehab center, you're called in from medical leave. Having been through hell he's classed as dangerous but you believe he deserves a chance. Hopefully you both can heal each other without adding to old wounds.
I dedicate this story to @kiwiimochi because they said they'd be interested in a story like this. I hope you enjoy and you're welcome to tell me what you think.
Content: hybrid AU, brief description of wounds, allusions to torture
The call comes through in the middle of the night, ripping you from deep slumber that for once was peaceful.
You wake with a gasp, heart immediately racing to outrun the invisible danger. It takes you a few seconds to blink the last remnants of sleep from your eyes. Youâre at home, in your bed. There is no danger around, except the phone that rings impatiently in your bedside drawer.
You recognize the ringtone. Itâs your work phone, which hasnât rung in weeks even though you always keep it on and charged. Itâs slightly unsettling to hear it ring at such an ungodly hour. Itâs freeing too, to realize that your heart slowly calms down and you do not spiral into a panic attack.
Yawning your reach into the drawer and open it, getting the angrily vibrating phone and hold it up to your ear.
âHello?â
âWe need you here.â
Youâre stunned into silence. Everyone knows youâre on medical leave. They should know better than to call you in randomly during the night. They -
âLike right now.â You recognize Elizabethâs voice and your heartrate skyrockets again.
âLiz, you know that Iâm on leave. You know wh-â
âThey want to put him down.â Her voice interrupts you, full of urgency.
That has you sitting bolt upright. Putting down hybrids has been illegal for years now and the center mostly adheres to those laws. Mostly, not always and when they donât they usually have a damn good reason not to.
Working at a government managed rehabilitation center for hybrids meant that sometimes they put their decisions above the law.
Youâre already out the bed and stumbling around the room while trying to get dressed one handed.
âIâm coming. Anything I should know?â
You tuck the phone between your shoulder and your ear so you can use both hands to pull on your pants. The short pause strains your nerves. She wouldnât have called you if the others could handle whatever was happening.
âLiz?â You prompt her.
âBelgian Malinois hybrid. Military. They found him after he was MIA for moths. Severely malnourished, signs of torture all over him. No idea how they managed to get him into a chopper and bring him here, but he is here.â She rattles down and if you didnât know her better youâd think that she doesnât care. But you do know her better. Staying professional helps her not to break down with cases like this.
Hectically you tuck a shirt over your head, gather your things and basically run out the door. When you started working at the center you moved as close as possible to your new workplace and because you were lucky that meant living just down the street.
Running along the sidewalk you urge her on. âWhat more, Liz. I need everything you can give me.â
The silence speaks volumes. She hesitates, then goes on.
âHe attacked and killed one of the soldiers that brought him here. They sedated him but said if no one wants to work with him, they have to put him down. Iâve seen hybrids go animal before but not like this.â
You grit your teeth at that. You hated the term âgoing animalâ even if it was a widely accepted term when working with hybrids. Just because they weâre genetically part animal didnât mean, that them going berserk was less human that an ordinary person losing it.
And if what she told you was true, he had more than enough reason to lose his marbles.
Before you can ask another question you reach the fence of the rehab compound and to your surprise Liz is there, already opening the door for you so you wonât have to use your access card. You end the call and pocket your phone when you approach her.
âI want to say itâs good to have you back but the circumstances make the whole thing slightly less cheery.â She greets you and then engulfs you in a heartfelt hug.
Damn, you missed her. Liz didnât work with the hybrids as a handler. She was part of the office team but she was one of your favorite coworkers here. Liz got shit done while taking none and still she was the nicest, sweetest person around.
You nod, returning her hug. Then you breathe deeply, preparing yourself to actually step foot into the facility again. The very reason why you were on medical leave in the first place. It doesnât feel as bad as you feared but youâre not sure how you will react to the hybrid.
âWhere is he? Whatâs his name?â
Liz sighs deeply. âHeâs in the cell. The others refused to work with him when they heard the details from the soldiers. Honestly, I donât blame them but I thought it was worth calling you.â
You nod grimly and let her lead the way. The facility worked with aggressive hybrids a lot. Problematic cases were nothing new. But one who had murdered mere hours ago was new territory. Youâre not sure this is the best decision.
Was this the kind of case you were ready to come back for? After what happened? This had the potential to ruin any progress you had made during your leave.
No. You couldnât let him be put down just because you were scared. He deserved a chance and if all the others were too worried then youâd give him the chance. Even if it might cost you the stability youâd gained back.
Liz comes to a halt before the cell and turns to you. Her hands clasp onto your shoulders, looking at you through her glasses.
âThank you for trying.â She hesitates briefly. âDonât destroy yourself over it though. If heâs lost, heâs lost. You canât save everyone.â
Her words make your throat tighten and swallowing seems like an impossible feat. You nod, despite the unease bubbling up in you.
Heâs a person, you remind yourself. Itâs not like youâre meeting a wild animal.
Finally you turn to look through the small window into the cell. The large hybrid nearly steals your breath. Heâs still unconscious, lying on the mattress at the far end of the otherwise unfurnished cold cell. The dark pointed ears that peek out of his shaggy hair twitch every now and then.
âHis name?â You ask again, your voice a whisper, even though youâre not entirely sure why you feel the need to quiet down.
He is dirty beyond belief; his hair unkempt and you can make out a slight beard on his strong jaw through the bars of his muzzle. Â You grind your teeth at the sight of it. Using muzzles of that type on hybrids has also been forbidden and you wonder if they found him like this or put it on him.
The fact that he doesnât wear a shirt, only ripped and sullied pants, grants you an unobstructed view of his torso. There are various wounds in different phases of healing and his ribs are overly visible beneath his skin.
The twin wounds on his left draw your eyes. They seem almost circular and are located between his ribs. Already crusted over messily they seem to not be the newest ones; still you shudder with how painful they look. Over the ribs that lay between those wounds the skin is blackish blue and bruised.
You decide to not look closely at his other wounds as to not make you feel shakier than you already do. Instead you look at his face again. That too is covered in shallow cuts but those do not make your insides want to turn over.
His hair seems to be a deep, dark brown, matching the ears and you wonder how heâll look, once heâs clean and not on the brink of starvation. Lizâ voice interrupts your thoughts.
âSimon Riley. Lieutenant.â
You both know rank means almost nothing when it comes to hybrids but you donât comment on the information. Youâre about to ask something else when he starts stirring and you hold your breath. Even though youâre outside you feel the tension rise along with his consciousness from the artificial sleep.
Two figures, that were obstructed from view before because they stood so close to the wall, step forward. Soldiers, you realize and they have their weapons trained on the slowly waking hybrid. On Simon.
As soon as heâs halfway conscious he scrambles to his feet, slightly swaying in his spot. He tries to bring his arms to the front but they seem to be tied behind his back. His tail grows stiff behind him, the ears tilt back and his upper lip curls into a snarl revealing his canines while his eyes fixate on the soldiers.
You can hear his deep resounding growl through the door and everything in you wants to run. This is a military hybrid, all right. Everything about him is big and intimidating, the aggression rolling off of him in waves along with the resounding growl.
Instead of running you set your shoulders and breathe deeply. âLet me inside and get the soldiers out.â You say a lot more confidently than you feel. Evidently their way of handling him is not working.
Liz raises her eyebrows but communicates with the guards inside. Slowly they back towards the door, keeping their guns pointed at the hybrid while Liz unlocks the door. Quicker than you can comprehend you changed positions with one of the guards, the other staying with his gun still pointing at Simon.
ââOut.â You command. You wish your body was as unwavering as your voice but you can feel a subtle shaking start in your legs.
The soldier seems conflicted but Elizabeth keeps the door open and he backs out too. Everyone at the center knows that working with hybrids comes with a lot of risks. If this goes south all youâll be is a small stack of papers on Lizâ desk, waiting to be signed. And maybe a body to be buried.
Youâre alone with him now, the heavy door closing behind you and the hostility rolling off Simon nearly suffocates you. His eyes are now fixed solely on you and he seems to be weighing his options, every muscle in his body coiled tight, ready to attack you.
You pray that he doesnât.
You study him for a moment longer and you see the sheen on sweat that appears on his skin. This is not only aggression. Heâs scared. Scared of you and somehow the fear being mutual calms you down. This hybrid must have been through hell and now he woke in a strange room after forcefully being sedated. Youâd be scared shitless too and growl at people.
âHello.â
You hold the eye contact and the way his ears perk forward for a second before going back again would be adorable in any other situation. The growl stutters before returning stronger than before. He reacted to being spoken to. Lizâ had exaggerated, maybe theyâd misinterpreted him, because this hybrid was not on a murder spree.
Yet heâd killed earlier, you have to remind yourself. Just because you were a softie didnât mean heâd spare you.
Slowly you raise your hands. âIâm just going to sit down, here. Do you know where you are?â
You can see the confusion on his face at the fact you talk to him and you mentally curse the soldiers that brought him in. Despite his display being more animalistic than human he is still a person before all else. How come they hadn't had the common sense to talk to him?
His keen eyes donât miss even one of your movements as you settle down and cross your legs.
âYou were found just north of the border in Texas.â Itâs difficult to keep your voice as soft as possible with the way your throat is so tight. For a second you hate yourself because youâre thankful that he is muzzled and his arms are restrained.
Then you remind yourself that he is not Phillip and despite what Liz told you, you will judge him based on his behavior not on the stories. Like you should have with Phillip.
Something about what you said makes his ears perk up. Heâs still careful but the previous stifling aggression is gone. Once again you try to suppress your anger at the soldiers not talking to him. This isnât nearly as bad as they made it out to be.
âThey brought you to a rehabilitation facility for hybrids that work with the authorities or the military. You might have heard of it before. Itâs called âRehybridâ which is a stupid name if you ask me but I wasnât born when they decided on that soâŠâ
Now he cocks his head at you and you try to keep from smiling. You know youâre rambling but it seems to help so you keep going.
âNot everyone is gifted in name giving.â Without much of a pause and consciously casually you continue on. âMind if I take the handcuffs off of you?â
That makes him stiffen, reflexively his lip curls up again a small growl starting up. Of course he doesnât trust you. But youâre also very aware of how unfair it is to have him shackled and muzzled when he feels threatened already.
âI know. I wouldnât want anyone near me too if I were in your position but I think it would only be fair.â Youâre very aware of the fact, that Liz, and the soldiers probably too, are watching through the window, most definitely thinking youâve lost your mind.
Simon shakes his head and even if it is disappointing it makes you feel incredible that he interacted with what you said. Your chest expands and you suddenly feel like a big boulder lifted off your shoulders. Thatâs a good start.
âItâs okay, I wonât do it then. Just give me a sign when youâre ready.â
Once again you briefly glance at the state his body is in and you slightly wince. Yeah, maybe you would have to press a little harder.
âListen. I really want to give you the time and space but I think your wounds and your body are on slightly tighter schedule than I am. I wonât force you but I donât want you dying on me.â
His eyes widen at that and in that moment youâd pay to know what heâs thinking. Itâs interesting to watch him as he seems to mentally take note of his body. He nods at you and you breathe a sigh of relief.
âTake the cuffs off?â, you ask again just to be sure. Simon nods again.
Keeping it slow and easily predictable you stand up again and raise your hand to the latch in the door, opening it and sticking your hand through it. If Liz and the soldiers listened, theyâll give you the key, hopefully.
For a few agonizingly long heartbeats nothing happens, then a key is dropped into the palm of your hand and you close the latch again.
âIâm going to take a step towards you and then you can come to me. Sound good?â
Simon nods again and you take the step. His body tenses but then he crosses the small space and turns his back to you. His chest is heaving and his back is damp with cold sweat. Itâs almost unnerving the way he has his head tilted as far to the side as possible, watching you out of the corner of his wide eye. If you make one wrong move he could still easily put you on the ground.
This close you can smell him and the stench coming off of him almost makes you gag. You try to breathe through your mouth at the smell of something rotten assaulting your nose. There's also the underlying smell of piss and filth along with other scents you can't identify. You concentrate on the task at hand in order not to imagine what might have happened to him.
Trying not to stress him out more, you talk him through the short process of taking off the handcuffs. His fast breathing makes you slightly worried that heâll hyperventilate.
The moments the cuffs are on the floor heâs on the other side of the room again and his hands are tearing at the muzzle on his head. His fingers are frantic and a nail on his already damaged hands breaks, a little bit of blood welling up.
âWait, please!â You call out desperately but his movements only grow more hectic. The muzzle he has on is designed so the hybrid is unable to take it off without seriously injuring themselves. His nimble fingers flit all over the piece, grabbing and tugging until he decides to just start pushing it upwards off his face.
Immediately the metal cuts into his cheeks and you know heâll do it anyway. He doesnât care about cutting his skin in the process. Panic swells in your chest at the thought of him shredding his face just to be muzzle free.
âPlease, Simon, Stop!â You say desperately in a last attempt before he pulls it off his face. Against everything you expected he freezes, eyes going wide.
âSimon, thatâs your name, right?â, you question your hands outstretched as if you could keep him from hurting himself further by sheer force of will.
Youâre shaking and you know he can see it. Swallowing is almost painful. âPlease donât hurt yourself, Iâll take it off of you but please stop hurting yourself.â
His eyes narrow but this time he hesitates less before nodding and stepping towards you. God he is big. Youâre all too aware of how incredibly vulnerable you are right now. He could probably rip you apart with his bare hands if he wanted to.
Heâs a fully trained soldier and you⊠youâre just an ordinary person who helps hybrids to get back on their feet. You specifically chose this line of work because youâre soft and stupidly selfless. Using those traits for work seemed like a good option to turn them into strengths.
Now youâre all too aware of how little your softness would guard you against Simonâs brute strength. Even on the brink of starvation the fact that heâs a weapon remains.
Achingly slow your hands reach up to the muzzle, feeling along it for the mechanism to unlock. His eyes stare into yours and this close you can see that theyâre the color of dark honey. Nothing about the expression in them is sweet though and you have to consciously swallow against the lump forming in your throat.
You unlock the mechanism and Simon stays in your personal space for a second longer. You donât break the eye contact and slowly he moves backwards until there is enough room to breathe between you two again.
He flexes his jaw for a moment to test it and this time you smile. His eyes narrow at that but you donât let it deter you.
Until now he hasnât made a move to hurt you and you decide to introduce yourself. When you tell him your name he still doesnât answer but heâs attentive and you think that maybe it will be fine after all.

allistic simon x autistic reader was just so heartwarming and relatable to read as iâm someone with the tism that often feels like a burden on others. it was so lovely, feeling like simon didnât want to change the reader as a person or expect anything unreasonable of them, but rather accommodate them where he can. i also liked that he didnât have to compromise himself and was able to do an activity he likes, but also care for reader! all around just really enjoyed the piece.
if i may, iâd love to request something where one of the readerâs safe foods/essential items is out of stock or being discontinued and how simon would help them navigate that situation. one of my fave essentials just got discontinued and iâm devastated lol â„ïž
hi there! i'm very happy that you enjoyed my first autistic reader piece. i'm sorry that your safe food is out of stock ): i get fairly frustrated when i can't have access to things that comfort me. i apologize in advanced for the subpar writing that will ensue this message.
allistic simon x autistic!reader: crisis averted
in which your lovely husband attempts to help you navigate the sudden unavailability of your safe food.
simon came back from his meeting on base a bit winded and more confused than when he'd originally left the home. the meeting was a cooperative planning session involving KorTac, and your husband failed to keep up with the newly-introduced objectives and profiles. his head hurt, frankly. the entire meeting he'd only been wondering what you'd been up to and if you missed him. when he finally entered your shared home, he was relieved to have the workday slide right off his broad, strong shoulders.
simon hummed as he heard the tapping of your PC keyboard, knowing you'd likely well into a deep dive of one of your special interests. he took off his boots by the door and calmly took steps toward the study, whistling as he walked. his eyes fell upon you in the throws of your own world of wonder, irises blown as you took in the information before you. Simon cleared his throat to grab your attention, and you peeled yourself away briefly to greet him. ,"hey Si," you hummed back distractedly, and your husband chuckled in response. "hi lovie," he grinned at you, moving to stand beside you and take in the media you were consuming. he stands there for a moment, enjoying your company, before he decides to trek to the kitchen for a snack.
simon peers around the area for signs of your appetite, signs that you had been feeding yourself and staying hydrated. he was met with an empty sink and dishwasher, and the items in the fridge looked untouched. the water filter was exactly as full as when he left this morning. he sighed, shaking his head before a lightbulb went off. maybe we're out of [food item]. that could do it, he thinks to himself, treking to the pantry to confirm the item was missing. he padded back into the study to greet you again, politely asking for your attention.
when you spin around to see a frowning Simon you instinctively feel puzzled, and of course Simon can tell by the way you stare at him blankly. "lovie, you didn't eat today?" he's soft when he speaks to you, ensuring that you don't feel scolded or punished. Your lover has been so understanding of your mannerisms, fully aware that your appetite was fickle and sometimes undetectable. you shook your head in response, words lost on you as you tried to recall your last meal. "there's no food item so I can't really eat right now," you responded cooly, and Simon nods his head in response. usually he'd kept up with the supply of your items, and he was honestly quite shocked that this wasn't upsetting you as much as he'd always imagined it would. he didn't want to press the issue, but he was mildly concerned that you may be pressing it down. "why didn't you say anything, are you not upset?" the question slides over your head, and you direct your attention back to the media in front of you. " 've been busy today," you respond as your eyes focus again on the screen. Simon sighs again, turning on his heels and heading to the bedroom for a change of clothes. he knew he'd be heading to the store now, or helping you through a meltdown later.
Simon had read up quite a bit on the fickle nature of meltdowns, and he was well versed in how unpredictable they may be. he'd listened to numerous autistic media creators mention their experience in reference to valves. when the 'special interest' tank was where you needed it, and your 'manual labor' valve was at a minimum, then that allowed for things like social interaction or emotional regulation. when you had no time to yourself and no time for the things that keep you happy, your mask began to slip and 'smaller' things that you normally coped with began to feel a lot heavier and less manageable. he knew that your special interest tank currently filled your cup to the brim, allowing you to ignore the constant discomfort of hunger and dehydration. he also knew that should this hunger persist it may heighten other, seemingly less significant, senses and experiences and he'd find himself well into meltdown territory. the longer he waited for you to notice your hunger, the more likely dysregulation would occur.
at the store, Simon's breath is stolen from him. the damned item was out of stock. he haggled a store employee, begging them to check their inventory again, but they'd been completely out of it. Simon found himself driving all over the city in search of this item, but he found nothing. at the fifth store he felt defeated, and he decided to search for the item online. to his dismay, it'd been discontinued. there was a pit in your husband's stomach at the information. to Simon's surprise, it seemed that his lovely spouse's support of this item hadn't been enough to singlehandedly keep the item in service. he scoffed as he thumbed through the list of items he knew you liked, all of which seeming a reach to coax you into eating.
Simon drives the 45 minutes back to the home, and you're pacing in the living room with your headphones on. Simon doesn't even have to ask, he knows you've overdone yourself with the screens and now your head hurts and your ears hurt; your ears always hurt when you're overstimulated. No matter how much you loved [special interest], you still found yourself overwhelmed if you indulged for too long.
you turn the music down at the sight of your husband in the doorway, waiting for him to speak. "Lovie, it seems that item has been discontinued." The words take a moment to be processed, but you fail to hide the disgust and frustration you feel about the information. you feel your chest getting tight, and the music doesn't feel loud enough. "i know this is difficult but-" 'How could we not notice it was discontinued? Why didn't i pay attention! It can't be! I don't want that. I don't want it." you began to cry, frustration coursing through you as your ears began to sting. You'd tried so hard to do better, to feel better for Simon, but now you felt helpless. Your brain began to eat away at you, blaming you for not keeping up with your own foods and snacks. Your pacing continues as you find yourself striking your chest repeatedly, trying to dull the pain of the situation. your mind felt like it was melting, and the tears continued.
Simon steps to you slowly, striking his own chest lightly and he nears your smaller frame. he slowly reaches his arms out beside him, allowing you to walk into his chest. his arms remain at his sides, and he allows the painful stimming to be transferred to his chest. your strikes feel nothing close to anything he'd truly suffered, and he hoped this would help you make it through this world-shattering time. he stands there for as long as you need him to, fully prepared for this to last several hours. the tears stain his shirt as you sniffle and sob, strikes getting lighter and lighter. you cry so much it leaves you dizzy, and your arms slowly reach out to simon's to wrap them around your frame. you give him two taps to let him know that you'd like to be squeezed, and he does so without complaint.
"You're safe, lovie. I'm sure this is very frustrating, so how about we order that Chinese food place you like. I know it's not safe food but it will feed you. I even have the exact order from last time, hm?" you offer him another two taps as confirmation, and he smiles.
Once you begin to come down from your meltdown, Simon is sure to help you change into your favorite pajamas and wraps you in your compression blanket. you two spend the evening in your bed watching your comfort show and eating takeout.
an: i hope this as comforting for you as it was for me while writing. simon would be such a loving and comforting partner, and I deeply believe he'd study you and learn you so well that he can help. if anyone you love is having a meltdown, try to remove any extra emotional or cognitive labor for them.

Simon never thought his body was anything specialânot really.
He's just keeping fit because it's part of the job, sweetheart, so body worship wasn't on his bingo card when you invited him over for some rest and relaxation.
Well, not his body, yeah?
Your eyes lit up like it was fuckin' Christmas when you saw him. Simon had just gotten out of the shower, hadn't really had time to put his towel on, and what the fuck is it with him losing track of time when he's with you? All Simon remembered was hearing you mutter "Bloody hell..." under your breath (heh, he's rubbin' off on ya) and next thing he knows, Simon's laying on your bed. Naked. Under you. Wait a fuckin' minuteâ
His mind goes blank when he watches you watch him; you look at him like he's a fuckin' masterpiece, like he's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen, body hair, cuts, bruises, burns, dents and all, drooling without the drool or what the fuck ever, but shit, it's enough to make Simon's face hot. If he wasn't embarrassed then, he's sure as fuck embarrassed now, and he'd bet every pound he had that knobhead Johnny would have a field day with this.
It's the way you kissed, nipped, and sucked everywhere you could (Christ, you even played with his nipples), making him feel so good, making him feel so bloody seen. Rough skin against your softness, and he's never felt so self-conscious before. You were so damn careful with his latest set of bruises, so fuckin' kind and considerate that he felt his heart jump.
It's the way you ran your hand down, all the way fuckin' down, until it wrapped around his cock. His cock that you're lazily stroking, his cock, hot, heavy, leaking, just... what the fuck are you doing to him?
It's the way you kissed Simon's Adam's apple, soft, gently, and he was afraid to swallow because he thought he'd lose something but he sure as hell felt the goosebumps on his skin and shivers run down his spine.
But it's the coup de grĂące, you swopping down to kiss the scar dangerously close to his lips, that shatters Simon completely. Breaks him down so fuckin' much that he's practically holding on to you for dear life. He leans against your touch, wonders what the fuck it would feel like to have your lips against his, and he barely registers the fact that he came, not earth-shattering but a warm blanket over him, and it feels like his very first time.
Fuck, this should've been his very first time.
"Aw, you do turn bronze when you tan, Simon!" He looks down, takes inventory of his tan lines (when has he ever lied to you, sweetheart?), looks up at your beaming smile, snorts, and rolls his eyes. If this were anyone else, he'd probably be pissed that the mood was broken.
It's you, though, and it makes everything feel right.

sleeping with simon riley is a chore.
retired/civilian simon riley in mind :) part two found here.
simon sleeps like a rock; a big heavy boulder that has no problem turning over at any moment and rolling lazily on top of you, trapping you under his usually firm muscles that have gone soft from being so lax. youâre lucky that his arms respect the fact that youâre right there, enveloping you as soon as youâre in reach.
and just so naturally, he runs hot. heâs a human furnace and he knows it â working out shows that detail when his face always flushed rosy afterwards, skin glistening and radiating heat like a force of nature. though, he plays coy when heâs sliding two very warm hands into your shorts and wedging them in between your thighs to âget warmâ, this action becoming a staple of his night time routine.
simon is a blanket gripper, maybe potentially (unintentionally) blanket hogger as well. sure, sometimes he sleeps stationary â back pressed flat to the mattress, arms untucked from the blanket surrounding to fold over his chest as if heâs laying in his own personal tomb â but, other times, heâs just gripping onto the blanket as if itâs an emotional sleep support. and god forbid he decides in his sleep to turn over with the duvet whilst heâs gripping it, he might just take the blanket draped over your side of the bed and you along with it.
simon who canât keep himself from curling into you if heâs holding you in his sleep. heâs almost like a cat when sleepily or unconscious, burying his face into the crook of your neck, pressing your back to the broad of his chest, and nuzzling his cheek into your hair when he stirs just a little from sleep. his arms, as thick with muscle as they are, are closed around you like an iron brace, sealing your fate of being in his personal teddy bear for a good 4-6 hours or more.

shy ghost got me giggling and twirling my fucking hair
because this big oaf would do everything to try and avoid you on base. the man would willingly be late to a meeting. hell, he won't even show up to the meeting as long as it means not locking eyes with you. those pretty orbs that have him on his knees quicker than any bullet he's ever taken.
the second your laughter hits his ears when he's entering the canteen he's already half way back the way he came.
he just can't handle it.
your laughter that's incredibly contagious. the smile that you always wear somehow even when you're in pain.
those fucking eyes that have his toes curling in his boots, knuckles clenched so hard he swears he's torn through the fabric of his gloves and broken the skin of his palms underneath.
and when you do finally catch him in the halls of the base, his shoulders tense (because he swears he saw you walking the other direction), you can't get even a peep out of him. in your mind you think it's his reputation; big, scary lieutenant that always has the new recruits rethinking the career path they've chosen.
but in reality ghost is fighting his inner demons. they're going toe to toe in a gun fight and he's the bloke that brought a damn knife.

STRONG OLDER MEN. I want to see a man, so rough and tough in the streets actually be a big sweetheart and SO nervous in bed. All flustered and whiney, rutting against your thigh like a one dollar whore. I need to see them overstimulated and crying from pleasure while you suck them off or eat them out. I want to see them be so scared about hurting you while they fuck you oh so gently, SO horny, but so afraid of hurting you. I wanna see one cry and whimper into your neck while they ride you soo well like a good boy <3 you let them cum as much as they want because they're being soo good for you (and they NEED that privilege cause they are soo sensitive and will cum so much) and they eat ALL of your praise up

âYou look like my boyfriend.â
Simon raises a brow at that statement and sits down in the nearby chair. His eyes on you. âIs that so, lovely?â
âMhm,â you agree with a confident nod and loopy. âNo. My boyfriend is prettier than you.â
He isnât sure if he should take it as a compliment or as an insult, for now Simon decides to not comment on it. âYou must be lucky to have such a pretty boyfriend then.â He grins and sips his cheap hospital coffee.
âOh, I am! Heâs pretty and cool and strong. And you should be careful because heâll be here soon!â You pout, shoving your lower lip forward.
Cute. ïżŒ
âDonât worry. Iâll be gone before he shows up.â Simon reassures you and pats your thigh.
You donât reply, the remaining anesthesia must still be running its course through your body after the surgery in which the doctor took out your inflamed appendix, snoring softly in the otherwise quiet room. âGood thing your boyfriend is already here, lovely.â Simon chuckles before tugging the thin hospital blanket higher over your chest and keeping watch as your chest rises and falls in a steady rhythm. âAnd he will be here when you wake up again. He will always be there, my lovely.â

when you first start talking to simon riley, you want to check yourself into an insane asylum.
you like to think youâre cool, youâre chill, youâre nonchalant. but he takes eight hours to text back, sending you a âcome over.â text at 7pm like he hadnât just ignored you the whole day. you complain to your friends, of course, which is a terrible move when they tell you to drop him and if he wanted to, he would! and you think he does (want to), heâs just so insanely nonchalant about it. so the next time he comes over, chinese takeout in hand after not texting you back since 8am, you go a little crazyâŠ
you open the door for him, stepping back awkwardly when he tries to peck your forehead. he practically shrugs it off, toeing off his boots before setting the food down on your table. âgot thaâ dish ya like.â you nod, forgetting his back is to you. simon unpacks the boxes with precision from the bag, not stopping until itâs all laid out on the table. youâve been quiet for a while, unusual since youâre the talker of the bunch, and that creeping feeling thatâs been sliding up his skin finally sets its hooks in him. he turns around curiously, brows furrowing at the sight of you still standing by the door, biting your lip with a timid look and wet eyes. âlove?â
you shake your head with a watery smile. âcan we talk?â simon follows you as you walk to your couch, feeling like heâs been dropped into an op with no details. he doesnât know whatâs wrong, just that youâre hurting and he seems to be the cause of it. âi justâŠdonât get it. how youâre acting so normal.â youâre twisting your hands together. âsomethinâ happen, love? got me confused.â you give him that small, weak smile again and itâs like youâve stabbed him in the heart. âyou- you barely talk to me all day and then you just come over here like itâs nothing. itâs just so hot and cold and iâm wrecking myself over it when itâs so clear you donât care. iâm just so confused, si.â
simon runs through his memories. he texted you good morning, you texted it back, then he went about his duties for the day until he was finally free to ask about dinner. hadnât even picked up his phone in the meantime, security risks or just plain busyness being the cause. ââve been busy, sweetheart. âs why i asked tâ come over when i was done.â you shake your head, biting your lip. âitâs the modern day, simon. everyoneâs on their phones. i donât think youâre as into this as me, and thatâs fine, but i just want to know!â
now simonâs the one shaking his head, pulling out his phone. he might not be tech savvy but he does know this move from johnny, the fucker constantly complaining about his screen time. he pulls up the screen time tracker and turns it to you. ânot everyone.â youâre a bit shocked to be honest. his screen time is ten minutes for the entire day. a few in the morning when he texted you and nothing until nighttime, when he texted you again. youâve never seen anything like it.
ââm not a big texter anâ we donât use personal phones for work, so itâs jusâ a brick i leave at home or lug around. âs nothinâ on you. been thinkinâ about you all day, to be honest.â your mouth is open, honestly. any other man would have never shown you their minute-by-minute screen time, would have begged off the âbusyâ excuse while having been on social media for four hours. simon, by all standards, is genuinely different.
âso, you do like me?â he nods stiffly, gloved hands reaching for you. you slide into his lap easily, tucking your face into his neck to hide your heated cheeks. youâd even shed a few tears over this, how embarrassing. ââcourse i like you, sweetheart. anâ im sorry if it didnât feel like it. letâs have it out, yeah?â you nod into his skin and he takes a deep breath, pulling you closer to his heart.
from that day on, you compromise with phone calls. when heâs got a few minutes and youâve hit a lull at work, heâll call you. itâs better than any text in the world - hearing his gruff voice asking questions about your messy coworkers or dinner plans. not so nonchalant as you thought.
-
i wish this was from personal experience but unfortunately for me, itâs closer to the men not responding for days but having a screen time of six hours.

Sleeping with Ghost means a lot of octopus cuddling. He lays on his back, sleeping like the dead if he gets and sleep at all, and you curl against his side to cuddle. Your arm slung over his chest and your leg thrown over his thick thigh, trying to find a spot for your other arm and ending up with it wrapped around Ghost's bicep. It doesn't feel very romantic, pretty one sided actually, except for the big warm hand that holds onto your thigh and squeezes the soft skin appreciatively, holding on like a lifeline through every nightmare. You always end up sharing his pillow despite having you own, letting him feel your breath against his neck, an assurance every time he wakes up that you will too.
You've never even thought about getting a bigger bed before but then Ghost starts complaining about back pain and cricks in his neck, and you figure its from your clinging. Except when you finally get the new mattress through the front door the look Ghost gives you is one of utter betrayal. You guess that means you're not the only clingy one.

Simon x Reader whose already work with TF 141 for a pretty long time. And one day, there's a traitor around the base, leaking their information. All of the proof are leading to reader but reader always deny it! And they interrogated reader, and reader always deny it! And he's (with other 141 members, of course, but it mostly him) do their torture methods to get information out of reader. They keep doing it until someday, the real traitor finally captured!
And make the reader traumatized, pls. Like, she would have trust issues, trauma, and others. She wouldn't forgive them, tho.
ooooo the angst. had to sit on this one for a few days before I wrote something, but here goes nothing.
ALL PARTS CAN BE FOUND HERE
when you blink open your eyes, the room is dimly lit. itâs silent save for the sounds of your labored breathing.
you mustâve passed out. one second johnnyâ a man youâd known for yearsâwas slicing into your skin with a knife. the next, youâre staring into an empty room.
your hands jerk up involuntarily. still bound. the rope holding them to the arms of the chair have rubbed them raw. the skin is bright red and bloody. it makes you grit your teeth.
you look down at your lap, taking inventory of the parts of your body you can see. large gashes break up the fabric of your tac pants. the blood surrounding the deep wounds is dry and crusty.
one of the cuts looks like itâs getting infected. you swear you can see bone.
youâd taken this kind of suffering before. been capture by enemies, held and tortured and pushed to the brink of death. this was different. this was being done by your team. men youâd bled with. cried with. laughed with.
one youâd even slept with. the same one you loved. the one you called yours.
the door to the room swung open, hitting the wall with a metal thud. your head slowly lifts, eyes squinting to see him. by his stature, you know itâs simon.
he doesnât bother shutting the door behind him. instead, he walks towards you slowly. as he comes closer, can make out his eyes in the sea of dark paint he smears around them. the same paint youâd helped him apply a time or two.
âback for more?â you say, and itâs meant to sound sarcastic, but all it sounds like is pitiful. your voice cracks, and pain seeps into your tone.
the first rule theyâd taught you about scenarios like this was to never let the enemy know itâs working. never let them know that theyâre hurting youâ that theyâre slowly wearing down your defenses.
well, youâd just broken that rule, and you hadnât even meant to.
you didnât know how long youâd been tied up, subjected to torture by men you had once called your family. all because a fucking liar whispered your name into their ears. all because they fucking believed it.
apparently the years meant nothing to them. to him, least of all, considering heâd done more damage to you than the rest of them.
simon comes to a stop in front of you. his hands are empty by his sides, but thatâs not reassuring. thereâs a table full of weapons off to the side. he would have his pick of the litter.
âready to talk yet?â he says, and his voice is gruff. his tone is hollow. heâs speaking to you the same way heâd spoken to countless enemies. it makes you sick.
âfuck you, simon,â you spit out.
the betrayal of john, gaz, and johnny had hurt. but simonâs betrayal? that was enough to almost put you in the ground.
youâd stopped pleading with them the second they tied you to the chair. now, you were angry. furious. rage filled your veins, and if you werenât beaten to all hell, youâd find a way out of these fucking restraints and strangle the man in front of you to death.
the man you loved. youâd thought you meant something to him, but apparently notâ because who tortures someone they love?
âif you talk,â he ignores your outburst. âitâll be easier. quick.â
âfuck. you.â you enunciate the words, your jaw impossibly tight as you grit your teeth. âim not the fucking rat.â
âall the evidence,â he starts as he disappears from your vision. you know heâs going to pick his weapon of the hour. you force yourself not to shudder.
âpoints to you.â
âtake that bullshit evidence and shove it up your ass, riley,â you seethe, ropes pulling taut as you lean forward in the chair.
heâs back in your line of sight now, brandishing a large knife.
âyouâre only making it harder on yourself, love,â he tuts, and then heâs swinging the knife down, right onto one of your fingers.
you scream as the blade cuts right through skin and bone. your teeth dig into your lip, drawing blood as you refuse to give him more of a reaction. it fucking hurts, but youâll be damned if you let yourself cry.
âfeel like talking now?â he asks, watching as half of your left pinky finger falls to the floor.
âor should we take off another?â
you look up at him, hoping he can see the hatred in your eyes as you speak your next words. âyou could take the fucking hand off and Iâd still have nothing to tell you.â
âletâs see how true that is then, eh?â he replies, and raises the knife again. heâs about to swing, when someone comes running into the room.
âghost!â
itâs johnny. heâs obviously winded as he stops beside simon, dropping his hands to his knees as he struggles for breath.
âwhat, mactavish? im busy.â
âtheyâreââ he gasps. âtheyâre notâ theâ rat.â he says between breaths.
the room goes impossibly still. so quiet you swear you could hear the menâs heartbeats (or maybe that pounding in your ears was your own).
âyou sure?â simonâs voice is softer as he lowers the knife and turns to johnny. the younger man nods, his eyes trained on you. you can see the regret in them, the sorrow.
âitâs fucking shepard.â
itâs not funny, but at the news, you burst into laughter. the men stare at you in confusion, but you canât stop.
youâre laughing so hard youâre crying, and theyâre just standing there.
âare you alrighâ?â johnnyâs asking as he moves towards you. heâs fully recovered his breath now, and he drops to a crouch to be eye level with you.
you donât answerâ you canât. you keep laughing. distantly, you hear the knife simon was holding clatter to the ground. can just make out the sound of more footsteps out in the hallway, coming towards the room.
you pass out.
when you wake up again, youâre in the infirmary. your eyes open slowly, adjusting to the bright fluorescent lights.
âeasy, love,â a voice to your right drawls.
your eyes are fully open now. you look down at yourself, noticing the lack of bindings. noticing the iv taped to your arm, the stitched cuts, the black and blue bruises, the missing fingernails and missing finger.
the person sitting next to you clears his throat. thatâs when you look up and meet the eyes of your captain.
your captain. the man who was supposed to lead you, to keep you safe. what a fucking joke. heâd started the damn witch hunt.
âhow dâyou feel?â he asks, his words soft, like heâs trying not to scare off a timid animal.
you stare at him for a beat. then two. then youâre moving, pulling the iv from your arm and shakily pushing yourself up in the bed. price is telling you to stop, reaching out to push you back down, but you slap at his hands.
âget the fuck off me!â you shout, and that takes him aback. he stops, frozen, as he watches you shift in the bed. you throw your legs over the side of it and prepare yourself to stand.
âyou really shouldnâtââ he begins after heâs regained his senses, but you pay him no mind. you place your feet on the ground and start to stand. your legs wobble, almost give out, but youâre able to stand. barely.
âshut up,â you growl, stumbling forward and towards the exit. heâs moving to cut you off, and you slide him a gaze thatâs sharper than a knife. âand leave me the fuck alone.â
he halts again. he seems almost scared of youâ but that canât be right. even on your best days, he would still beat you in hand-to-hand combat.
heâs not scared of your threats or your frail body. heâs scared of what heâs done to you.
just then, johnny and gaz come through the infirmary doors.
âcap, yâalright? we heard yellinâââ johnny begins, but his mouth snaps shut at the sight of you out of bed.
youâre heaving from your spot next to the bed. your legs are shaking violently, threatening to give out any second. you feel nauseous and numb.
âletâs get you back into bed,â gaz says, and he starts towards you, but you stop him as your gaze snaps to his.
âdonât come any fucking closer. any of you.â
âbonnie,â johnny murmurs. he sounds miserable, but you donât care. donât give a fuck about how any of them feel.
âdonât. im leaving,â you grunt out, moving a foot forward slowly. youâd be damned if you fell in front of them.
âyou canât, love. youâre in no shape to be walking.â john says, and you snarl.
âand whose fault is that?â
the men stay silent as they watch you slowly shuffle towards the foot of the bed. youâre bracing yourself to walk on your own when simon walks in.
âget back in bed,â his tone is blunt. you ignore him.
you remove your hand from the bed, move to take a step forward without support, and you begin to crumple to the floor.
simon moves forward, quick as a cat, and catches you. he lifts you into his arms bridal style, and youâre screaming hysterically. your limbs are flailing the best they can in such a battered state. youâre in fight-or-flight mode, your body betraying your desire to put up a steely front.
your palms slap against simonâs upper body and his masked face. he gives no reaction. he doesnât say anything. the others are watching the exchange silently. the room is buzzing with tension.
âget off me!â you screech, landing a slap to simonâs cheek. âlet meâ let me go! let me go!â youâre gasping for breath, tears streaming down your cheeks. youâre panicking. your heart feels like itâs going to beat out of your chest.
âput me down! getâ getâ off me! stopââ you sob.
the doctor rushes into the room then, yelling at the men for allowing you out of bed. you canât make out what sheâs saying over the rush of blood in your ears. you feel light-headed. you canât breathe.
âput them down, now!â the doctor yells at simon. âtheyâre having a panic attackâ I thought I told you four to stay away from them? theyâre too vulnerable right nowââ the doctor is chastising them as simon places you back in the bed.
spots are dancing in your vision. you donât even feel it when the doctor sticks another needle into your arm. the words being exchanged above your head are muffled. itâs like youâre underwater.
johnâs face comes into view, then johnnyâs, then gazâs. as your eyes start to close, you notice the only face you donât see again is simonâs.
when you wake up again, itâs been two weeks.
the doctor had put you into a medically induced coma to allow your more serious wounds time to heal, without risking another episode. unbeknownst to you, the members of your team had stayed by your bedside almost the entire timeâ minus simon. he hadnât come within ten feet of the infirmary since the day of your panic attack.
thereâs fresh flowers on the bedside table. a steady beeping of the heart monitor. a fuzzy feeling in your head.
it feels like a dream, all of it does. none of it feels real as you settle into your body again. but then the hurt starts, and you remember the truth.
your family betrayed you. your lover betrayed you. they locked you up and tortured you. they didnât believe you.
when the doctor came to your side to check your iv, she smiled.
âhowâre you feeling?â
you look up at her, and it takes a moment for you to speak.
âdonât,â you begin. your mouth feels like itâs full of cotton. âdonât let themâŠin here. donâtâŠwanna see them.â
the doctor nods in understanding, and she doesnât say anything else to you. she turns and walks out of the room.
the door clicks shut behind her. she lets out a sigh before turning around to face the three men.
âthey donât want to see you.â she tells them, and their expressions drop. they donât protest, and like wounded puppies, they walk off.
no one else comes to check on you for a few hours.
youâre in and out of consciousnessâ canât tell whatâs real and whatâs a dream. flashes of your torture come back to you. flashes of a smile. of a scarred face. of hands on your hips andâ
you crack your eyes open, and the room is dark. the only light is the blinking of some of the machines. it illuminates the room enough to allow you to see a large, dark figure slip from the room. the door clicks shut so quietly itâs almost imperceptible.
thatâs when you notice fresh flowers on the bedside table.
your eyes start to droop once more, and you chalk up whatever you just saw to a dream, while simon exhales heavily on the other side of the infirmary door.
ââââââââââââââââ

He says shit like "Did that feel good..?" everytime you two fuck. As if he didn't just give you the most back arching, toe curling, brain numbing orgasm of your life.
You'd be panting like a dog beneath him, eyes rolled to the back of your skull and still he'd be asking "How's that feel..?" Like sir. This isn't UberEATS, why do you keep asking that? Do you want five stars??

Butcher!Simon x gn!reader Part 7 whooohooow. We get the cofee date and more conversation! Yay
Also I'm dead tired, going straight to sleep after posting this forgive any spelling mistakes. Also please point it out to me if I messed up the description of the reader anywhere. I promise that's just because these are horribly self indulgend and I might slip up and put parts of me in there. But I wanna keep these as neutral and inclusive as possible because we all deserve to be self indulgend with these. Love you all!
< Part 6 | COD Masterlist | Part 8
Simonâs running late and heâs cursing himself when he opens the door of the cafĂ© heâs supposed to meet you at (heâs so glad you didnât tell him to meet up at Johnnyâs bakery, he wouldnât have survived that).
Heâs not even sure why heâs late and heâs glad Price doesnât know about it, the old man would give him hell for not being on time, especially when it means making lovely little you wait. God, he can't believe he's making you wait, his chest tightening up slightly. What if you already left?
As soon as he steps in, he spots you and has to take a second to take the scene in. The cafĂ© is cute and cozy; youâre nestled into a booth at the back anxiously watching the sidewalk through the window, your mutt laying by your feet. Youâre probably looking for him and that makes him hastily walk towards your table. He really wants to kick himself for being late. Way to go and show you how important this is to him.
When you hear him approach you look up and your dog sits up, eyeing him. Your eyes are big and you look like you didnât expect him to show up at all. Honestly you look like a deer caught in the headlights, like one wrong move might make you bolt (he really needs to tame you, put a collar on you so you wonât run).
Your expression makes Simon want to crumple to his knees so he might beg for forgiveness. His chest is slightly heaving from his race against time and you raise your hand in an awkward little wave.
âHiâŠâ, you say and hearing your lovely voice immediately makes his heart speed up.
âHi, sweetheart. So sorry for being late.â, he apologizes and extends his hand for your dog to sniff. The beast recognizes him and deems him harmless, so he pulls out a chair for himself opposite of you. You already have a drink in front of you and you self-consciously stir the apparently empty cup (god, youâre adorable in your nervousness).
âItâs fine. Iâm sorry I ordered already, wasnât sure you were gonna show up.â, you admit quietly, eyes downcast looking at your drink. Simonâs heart breaks. He wants to cover your hand with his and tell you that nothing could keep him from showing up for you even if it means crawling from another grave.
Instead he starts taking off his jacket and says: âIâd never stand you up, sweetheart.â
That makes your eyes snap up to his and he feels his traitorous heart stumble over the next beat. A smile appears on your lips and he forgets what else he wanted to say when your gaze lands on his newly exposed forearms. Your eyebrows slightly lift seeing his tattoos.
Simonâs just about to grow worried that you donât like tattoos (shit... maybe he should get a laser removal?) when he catches you biting your lips. This time itâs clearly not nervousness.
Heâd never admit it but maybe he deliberately flexes his hands and makes a show of getting comfortable without his jacket until your attention is ripped away from him by a waiter asking for your orders (he could seriously knock the poor sod out for that).
When Simon looks at you again your eyes are on his face, your brows slightly furrowed and you cock your head (that would be the perfect angle for him to press his lips to yours). Suddenly he realizes that youâve never seen him outside of the shop and youâre probably put off by the mask.
âYou can ask.â, his voice is gruff and curt and he curses himself. He couldnât have sounded more uninviting. This is just perfect, at this rate you'll end up leaving before you get your second drink.
âSo⊠I assumed the mask was a hygiene thing butâŠâ, you vaguely gesture to his face. â⊠evidently itâs not. May I ask why youâre wearing it?â
He barely suppresses a chuckle. Seems like youâre not as reserved as he thought. The pairing of your openness with your timid and shy demeanor makes for an interesting mix.
He finds himself appreciating your directness, something he hadnât anticipated from you. Then again this date is for you to get to know him and decide whether heâs worthy of being in your presence again (apart from just buying meat).
ââs a habit from my military time. Now it feels odd to go without it.â, he explains simply. He doesnât see any reason to be dishonest with you. He wants to get to know all of you, uncover all your secrets and hidden parts. If you find him interesting enough to ask about him too, who is he to deny a deity the knowledge about their worshipper?
You nod slowly, scrutinizing him. The next smile you send him is crooked and a bit apologetic. âDoesnât make it all that much easier to trust you.â, you say.
âAnd seeing me would? What more would my face tell you?â, he genuinely questions.
That makes you pause for a second and he decides to go on. âPeople hide intentions behind expressions all the time. Now I might hide my expression but never my intentions.â
Instead of answering directly you look down at your dog.
âWell, Wraith likes you, which really already tells me a lot.â, you say and Simon nearly raises his fist in victory (heâs glad he didnât forget to put some treats in his pocket).
Wait⊠âWraith?â, he nearly chokes on his own spit when he repeats your dogâs name in question. Even after all this time he never asked for the name and never got a good look at his name tag.
WraithâŠ. a ghost. A ghost!
Your expression turns soft. Simon wishes youâd look at him like that. Heâd happily lay on the floor by your feet if it would mean youâd look at him like that. âYeah⊠Wraith.â
He watches you in rapt attention when you continue: âI justâŠâ, you chuckle self-consciously. âI never found the idea of ghosts intimidating. And the idea of one of them appearing to you before or after death always sounded more like a guide or companion than horror and fear. Which is kind of what Wraith here is. Most people look at him and find him intimidating, theyâre scared, when actually heâs the sweetest, purest pup and best companion anyone could ask for.â
Simon barely keeps from looking at Wraith again. To look for whatever you see in the ugly fucking dog. Heâs glad he keeps his attention on you, because you look up, the slightest hint of embarassment on your face, the expression so adorable he feels like fainting (would you look at him like that if he called you his good little lovie?).
âI⊠sorry itâs sillyâŠâ
âItâs not.â Fuck why does his voice sound so raspy. âI like it. Appreciate you tellinâ meâ, he quickly adds battling down the sudden urge to tell you about his own Ghost. He consciously keeps his hands from reaching for his mask and running over the skull print.
âIâve always been afraid of ghosts.â, he admits and your eyes widen incredulously.
âYou? You look like ghosts should be afraid of you, not the other way around.â, you blurt and he can already sense the oncoming apology so he makes sure heâs quicker.
âThank you, lovie. Thatâs very flattering of you. Not sure how much theseâŠâ, and he flexes his biceps obnoxiously for you. â.. would do against incorporeal entities.â (Oh fuck was that weird? He was going for a joke but fuck that was weird wasnât it? Shitshitshitshit youâre gonna think heâs one of those airheaded only brawn guys)
Simonâs about slap himself when you snort, cover your mouth and giggle, the sound settling warm in his stomach.
Then you seriously nod at him. âDonât worry, big guy, Iâll protect you from ghosts. They might slip right through your big beefy arms but theyâll miss mine.â You flex your arms too and Simon bites back a grin when he's reminded of how much smaller you are than him. âThin like trip wire, they wonât know what hit them. Literally.â
He chuckles, earnestly and from deep in his belly, and you grin at him, evidently more at ease. When you settle more comfortably in your chair, not as tightly coiled anymore like you might need to jump into action at any moment, Simon canât help the protectiveness flaring in his chest. Youâre too precious for your own good.
But you donât need to worry anymore, especially not around him. He'll keep you safe.
Youâve got two guard dogs now.

I can't stop thinking about Self Aware! Simon who will drop very subtle hints that he's aware of everything you're saying to him
You were playing a game of cod and were talking about your job, only to receive a comment about his work, almost as if this silly character on your screen was trying to make conversation with you
You left a very disappointed simon when you stayed silent the rest of the game
He loved your voice, he wanted to hear more. Why would you stop talking?
He kept talking or saying voicelines the rest of the game, even glitching the game to make you laugh. He was desperate to keep you talking. You were the only thing he looked forward to. You were real, you were beautiful, and you were his, even if you didn't know it yet
Another time he had accidentally said your name in one of his "new" voicelines that came with the "update", which was mainly just him saying 'good job, luv" and you assumed it was just fan service
That was until he said your name instead of luv
He thought he was going to be caught for sure. What kind of excuse could you come up with that would deny he was aware that he was in a game and could see your every move, even now while you're reading this on tumblr?
But maybe you were just hearing things? No one else is having this problem from what you've seen, so why would you?
That was until you came home after a long day, only to see the Simon Ghost Riley in front of you and a broken TV that most likely had fallen from him trying to get out of the screen and into your reality
What excuse would you come up with now?

Simon doesn't think he's ever tasted something so good in his fuckin' life before.
He didn't know what he was in for this time when he got back from deployment, and nicotine and whiskey ain't got shit on this. Poor bastard can't remember the last time he had something so good invade his senses like this.
You said you had a treat for him, made him lay down, and promptly sat on his face, and Simon was fuckin' gone. Don't know what the fuck possessed him but he took one whiff and was instantly hooked.
Simon feasted on your cunt like a man starved. Tongue, lips, fingers, you name it. Anything to get his fix, anything to make you moan.
Anything to make you cum.
Didn't let up for shit, not even to breathe, and when you voiced your concern while whimpering and trembling, Simon didn't give a fuck and still continued to love on your pretty cunt because where the bloody fuck are you going?
Shut up. Shut the hell up and let him make you cum, sweetheart.
Actions have consequences. Shouldn't have made him feel so bloody good, shouldn't have poked at the beast, and he'd be damned if he didn't think this was the best post-deployment gift he's ever gotten. Better than the nicotine high or occasional pity wank.
Fuck, it's been so long and he's absolutely disgusting about it.
And Simon's aware of it all, the way his cock is so hard it's bloody painful and leaking in his pants, the way you're grinding on his face, smothering it and fucking his mouth (don't you dare stop, either), and how his everything is consumed by you. You coat his stubble, fill his nostrils up with your scent, his tastebuds are fired upâbloody hell, need he explain more?
Simon could die a happy man right now, and what would his gravestone say? Here Lies Simon Riley, Died Eating Cunt.
He'd chuckle if he wasn't too busy at the moment. Shit, he probably did if the way you're moaning is any indication. That felt good, didn't it, sweetheart?
It's your turn now to say his name like a prayer and believe in him just as he believes in you.
And it's the best fucking thing to ever bless his ears.

waking up to simon riley is really sweet.
retired/civilian simon riley in mind, part two to this post. a/n: honestly didnât expect people to like the first post but here we are, thank you everyone for the pleasant surprise! also, i try to make simon feel more âhumanâ, i feel like he doesnât get humanized enough, does that make sense?
waking up to simon is like being shielded against the world, the contour of his body cradling your softer one as he holds you close in his sleep; maybe thereâs an arm thrown haphazardly over your frame, perhaps a leg, or maybe heâs even put a leg between your legs â either way, youâre a mess of limbs and itâs like simon is attempting to fuse with you in his sleep.
simon who sighs deeply before he wakes. when asleep, his chest rises and falls with measured breaths, working in a rhythm; the epitome of peace. but, you move one good inch, try to untuck yourself from underneath his arm, anything â he stirs, filling his lungs with air before huffing it out not even a moment afterward, melting back against you more insistent on putting the weight and heat of his heavy build more onto you.
simon finds himself airing out his apologies as his lips drag across your warm skin in lazy kisses. he almost crushed under his weight in his sleep? he sounds so sorry, voice low and practically murmured whisperers against your skin. his brain is still attempting to catch up with his sleep slurred mumbles, filling in the blanks of his apologies with a kiss or absentminded hum.
simon is just really pretty when he wakes up. if you manage to stop him from nuzzling â or head-butting â into whatever part of you is soft enough for him to bury his face into, heâs all slow blinks and droopy eyes. it also takes a bit for his expression to soften into something a bit sweeter when he first wakes (he has a literal resting bitch face), squinted eyes and his lips pressed into an unamused line. itâs oddly satisfying to see his expression bordering on a pout, rich brown irises looking up at you through pale lashes.
simon has to smooth over the smile thatâs fighting to tug at the corner of his lips for a more empathetic one when heâs taking you in for the first time in the morning, your hair a mess. if he didnât know better, he wouldâve asked if you were tossing and turning all night instead of if he did that, his calloused palms petting down your messy hair in short strokes before they settled at framing your face.
saying good morning to simon is a must. if heâs just waking up and heâs gruffing out a good morning, he expects to hear one back. he doesnât want to hear a groan or some half-assed âmorningâ, it has to be good morning specifically. and oh, youâre asleep? heâs nudging your forearm gently with his knuckle to rouse you a bit, saying another insistent (but sweeter) good morning until you respond.
simon doesnât always want to be on the go. sometimes being draped in warm covers and a tangle of limbs is where itâs at for simon, wanting to find a little more time in bed with you. so when heâs spooning you and starts crowding impossibly closer, his chin perched right on your shoulder as he uses your extended forearm to prop up his phone like some kickstand to watch some woodcarving asmr video on youtube â you better not move and your eyes better be on that screen, this is his and your enrichment time.

simon deserves a quiet, loving marriage.
after everything the man has been through he deserves someone that loves him the right way. someone who sees past the flaws, the scars, the darkness that has embedded itself into his mind.
words of affirmation donât have to be spoken to one another. the two of you just know how the other feels just through their actions or even just the look on their face, the glint of light behind the others eyes as your gazes meet.
he makes you laugh with his occasional morbid jokes or jokes that most wouldnât find funny, and in return you do the same for him. your laughter is contagious to him. it makes the corners of his lips twitch into a smile that makes your heart beat just a bit faster. has your face brightening in a way that has him asking, âyâalright, love?â
you both meet each other in the middle. not everything is thrown onto one person: laundry, the dishes, you name it. you and simon help each other, work as a team because thatâs what partners do. nothing is ever done alone.
he loves the stories about your day no matter how minuscule they may seem to you. they are everything to him. he loves the crinkle at the edges of your eyes when you have a bright smile spreading wide across your face. he loves your mind, how intelligent you are, how you help remind him of things that he so easily forgets.
but most of all he loves how gentle you are. and heâll always feel like he doesnât deserve it. heâs a bad man isnât he? heâs taken the lives of countless of people and yet here you are preparing the man a plate full of your amazing food, warming his bed, and standing with that sparkle in your eyes by the front door when he comes home.
those tendrils that sit in waiting at the back of his mind slowly creep in every so often and itâs like you can see them with those sharp, knowing eyes of yours. the second you spot them youâre shooing them away with a kiss to his brow bone, nuzzling just a bit closer to him in bed until it feels like he might consume you whole with how big he is.
when you finally relax into him, your lips pressed against his temple, he just barely makes out, âeverything will be alright.â
and he knows then and there that he does deserve you, that he does deserve your laughter, your smiles, the warmth you bring him, and your kindness.
simon knows everything will be alright because he has you.
