Matt goes with the kids and when they go trick or treating, everyone loves Rose’s costume and thinks it’s cute. Matt and the kids point out different costumes as they pass by in the neighborhood.

Rewatching aos s5 and s6 and it's so funny that regardless of whether the writers intended it or not, the way Daisy communicates with fellow agents she leads makes is clear that she would in fact, be a great director. She's compassionate and practical and confident and not a single agent we see outside of fs family and yoyo have issues with her. Her fatal flaw is that she's too attached to her old friends who she loves and trusts despite them both having gone a little evil and ruthlessly immoral due to the past season's trauma. Like literally if fitzsimmons respected her as much as they respect each other and as much as Daisy respects them, s5 and s6 would be drastically more positive for the whole team.

I wonder if, before Bahrain, Coulson and May used to watch sunsets/sunrises after a mission together. Maybe it was Coulson who suggested that they all watch the rocket launch at sunset together after their first mission as a sign of appreciation to May, or even the other way around. And maybe Coulson would sometimes join May after Tai Chi to watch a sunrise in silence, just taking in the moment. Which would then be a torch passed on to Fitz and Simmons, who we know also watched a sunrise together in the same way. I also like to believe that Coulson and May stayed on the beach to watch a final sunset before he passed away, and I wonder if the rest of the team stepped aside from everything else that was happening after dropping May and Coulson off, and watched the exact same sunset too

tbh i think red team has an easy time staying in contact post canon. like yeah i know donut wasn’t there in restoration but i think they would still know where he is and what he’s up to and stuff. grif and simmons would still talk and grif would still try to convince him to come home. they would talk about sarge and on the anniversary of his death they would all try to at least video chat.

the comradery within red team is something that is unsaid but ultimately true and i think that’s my favorite thing about them. a lot of their devotion to each other is through action rather than words (simmons grabbing grif’s hand as he falls off a cliff, sarge noting all of donut’s quirks and using that to discern whether or not he’s in danger, etc).

even between red team and blue team. yeah they have this little rivalry going on and they talk mad shit but red team still decided to help out caboose in the end to save tucker. even if they didn’t use flowery words while doing it.

i have a lot of feelings about red team. i think that in comparison’s to blue team’s melancholy red team channels more of nostalgia. not really mourning or grieving the past but remembering it fondly despite it not being here anymore. and then moving on. like their attitude towards sarge and even church (and if you reach far enough like me, doc).

so it’s that fondness that keeps them so easily in touch. they aren’t so scared of losing one another they hold on too tight, but they also like each other so they make effort to spend time together.

How do you think Matt (and the kids) would celebrate Kristy's birthday?

I know this one’s late and I’m so sorry! I think Matt and the kids would surprise Kristy with a breakfast in bed (and yes the kids made it themselves while he supervised haha). Emily would give him the day off for him to spend time with his family, so Matt has planned a birthday lunch with the kids and dinner for just him and Kristy only.
