Made the Pines + Waddles in the sims. Lots of cc used lol idr what everything is. Waddles is just base cats and dogs. I made two different outfits for Mabel, one that's more my sims style and one that's literally just her canon fit. Stan unfortunately looks so bad but at least Ford looks pretty silver foxish.

Gonna make Wendy, Pacifica, Candy and Grenda, and maybe Bill and Gideon at some other point. First goal is to build the mystery shack!

I want to talk about this au. So let’s begin with the TMA characters that will be around.

Jonathan “Jon” Sims: look it’s the silly eye man our poor little meow meow. Anywho this wet cat of a man just became the pupil of the eye so his powers and connection to the eye are much greater now, I mean so long as he feeds himself properly and he’ll definitely do that, won’t he? No no he won’t, at least not at the beginning, what were you expecting Jon Sims to properly take care of himself? When has he ever done that without being forced too? Any way he still looks mostly human, I mean he has more eyes then most but he tends to keep those closed or hidden, and his eyes are such a bright green that they almost look like they are glowing(they actually are), and if you look at his skin too closely you might notice black lines that almost look like a web of shattered china, but that’s fine. Also small green eye symbol float around him, most can’t see them all the time but they may catch glimpses of them out of the corner of their eyes. Tape recorders still follow him about they feel different now though, less like they’re from someone else and more like they’re from him.he is very much the ceaseless watchers special little boy, and it fucking shows, so much favoritism.

Martin Kartin Blackwood: he is an avatar of the lonely, like he is fully an avatar now. It’s fine everything is fine, he’s just choosing not to think about it for now, that will make it go away. Any way he’s pretty much how he was at the end of season 5 bit less stressed given that he’s not currently going through the apocalypse, but he’s definitely not forcing himself to act small anymore, he is actively choosing to take up space and stop putting up pretenses. He’s here an a new universe with his boyfriend and come he’ll or high water he is going to make the most of it.

Helen: she is alive because I miss her, also I think distortion door shenaniganery would be fun. Any way he just didn’t kill Helen this time that’s all, and given how little of the distortion is human, or really ever was, she got whisked away to somewhere else as well

Monster Pig: he is my baby and he is here if I say he is, I would kill for him so he is alive and well and freed from his concrete tomb. Anyway depending on if I make this au pre or post weirdmageddon his situation is a bit different, either he replaces waddles and is babyfied, or Mable finds him in the woods and befriends him and now he is waddles’ brother. Either way new pig friend for Mable, and my boy is thriving and being lavished with love(and maybe he occasionally just eats whatever problem they are dealing with, because he is a good pig 🐖)

Simon Fairchild: I know that in canon he is left behind but you can’t tell me that this 600 year old sky grandpa was human enough to be left behind, also as a vast aligned person I can’t leave my evil grandpa behind. He is here and he is having a blast just vibing and slowly adopting any vast avatars that show up to rebuild his family.

If y’all have any other characters I can add and good reasons for them to be able to show up, I will maybe add them

Next up will be some stuff about the gravity falls side of things and a definitive decision on weather or not this is set pre or post weirdmageddon

Happy (early) new year everyone! I have been tagged in so many variations of love trains the past couple of days and just wanted to take this opportunity to have a quick chat about my first year here on simblr (˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵) For the longest time i didn't want to consider joining this side of tumblr, not until a good friend recommended me to do so. The Decades Challenge ~ 1921-1923 (Roaring Twenties and Prohibition) The Kennedy Household POV. Part 2

The baby boom of 1923! Edward, despite being a father for several years, wonders if his new baby will be anything like Mabel. Every baby so far in this challenge has been extremely different in their personalities, but that is the beauty of sims. The next update may cover more time than the last several updates, possibly 1924-1929.

Sometime in 1923, Hazel sits down with Mabel and tells her she will have a little sibling in a few months. Mabel excitedly asks if they ordered a brother or a sister...both are fine according to her. Mabel has Edward's humor, for sure.

During an intense thunderstorm not long after this conversation, Mabel cried and ran to her parents room. She is terrified of the loud noises and bright lights, and is still too little to understand that she is safe inside.

Edward comforts Mabel, and tells Hazel to go back to sleep. Edward brings Mabel to the study to spend some time before going back to bed.

He soothes Hazel while the storm intensifies outside with some jokes and calm words. Edward feels that in this moment, there is nothing he would not do to protect Mabel from any type of threat, rational or irrational.

Edward subconsciously wonders if the baby on the way will be like his daughter, or will he have to relearn how to be a parent all over again. All of his siblings are different from one another, with their own fears and interests. The thought of starting from square one again makes his nerves go up a notch, but as the baby is not due for many months, he puts these thoughts aside for now.

It is a pleasantly cool late summer day in 1923, and the whole family decides to spend time in town. Florence is currently due to give birth in a few weeks (Dorothy, her third daughter). Hazel and Florence spend time together talking about motherhood, while 17 year old Breena plays with Mabel.

Breena finds Mabel adorable, but as she is the youngest one of her family and never had to deal with a lot toddlers in her days, she is slightly unsure of how to entertain her. Breena decides to educate Mable on the Fairy Lands, but much of it goes over this 5 year old's head.

It seems while wandering around the square, Mabel finds an abandoned violin sitting in the pavement...

On the way to the bathroom in the pub, Hazel passes by her own mother without realizing it. Penelope Cotton noticed, however, and waits outside the bathroom for her daughter to emerge.

Hazel's mother tries to confront her, much to the surprise of Hazel. As far as she was aware, her mother never wanted to see her again after she found out about her first pregnancy. Hazel does not stick around long enough to understand what her mother wanted to yell at her about.

It is now winter of 1923, and Hazel is nearing the end of her pregnancy. Edward, ever the jokester, makes her laugh even though she is well beyond uncomfortable at this stage of pregnancy.

Mabel asks her mother to dance with her to the radio one night. This new invention is a constant source of entertainment for the family recently.

Hazel, never one to skip out on a dance party, joins her daughter. The ragtime tune on the radio is infectious, and Hazel might have overdone it a little with her dance moves...

Hazel suddenly gasps and runs to the kitchen. Edward quickly follows, leaving Mabel still dancing in the living room.

Hazel's water broke, and she is in labor.

Several hours pass, and it is now early morning. Still no baby, and Edward is finally having a slight nervous breakdown. Despite being a father to Mabel for several years, he is worried about how to raise a brand new child. Emmet keeps Edward company while Hazel labors upstairs. Emmet tells Edward that what he is feeling is completely normal...but to focus on more important things like supporting his family and newborn.

The men hold their breath when they hear Hazel let out a loud, long scream from upstairs, and did not release that breath until they heard the faint cry of an infant. Ida and Breena come down the stairs and tell them that Edward has a son! After four granddaughters, we finally have a grandson!

Edward and Hazel agreed that they should name their son in honor of Donnie. Welcome to the world Donald Kennedy!
