                From the moment I laid eyes on you, you changed my life forever. There was a light in your eyes unlike anything I had ever seen before. I fell in love with you the moment you were given to me and nothing can ever change how much I love you and how much you’ve changed me. You showed me that even out of the darkest of situations good can come and make everything okay. You were that force of good that turned my life upside down and the day you came to me was the best day of my life.

                I had never thought about how delicate another life could really be until I held you. I was so afraid that I was going to hurt you somehow; you were so precious and perfect I thought there was no way you could have been mine. Everything bad I had ever done in my life was completely wiped from my memory when I was with you; you were the only thing that mattered. One day, when you have your own children, you will understand.

                The only thing I ever wanted was to protect you and to be there for you through the ups and downs of your life. I promise that where ever I am, I will be watching over you. You will be on my mind every moment of the day and if rain falls from the skies, those will be the tears that prove how much I miss you and how much love you have placed within my heart. Nothing will ever compare to the love a mother feels for her daughter, no matter how long they have been together.

                You have such a bright future ahead of you baby girl and you will do more good in your life than anyone could ever think possible. Always remember to be kind and loving toward others, for your love, in turn, will spark theirs and the world will be a much better place. I am counting on you to watch out for your Daddy and brother. They both love you very much and I know that they will stop at nothing to keep you happy and safe. You deserve nothing but the best and I only wish I could be there to give it to you. I love you more than you could ever understand and you will always be in my heart, forever.

Letter to Mommy

Mommy,

 Please don’t leave, we need you here! Daddy needs you, baby sister needs you, and I need you too! We just got you and we just got a family so you can’t go now. I know you can fight; you’re a good mommy and a good goddess. No one would want to take you away from us. Why didn’t I tell you I loved you before this happened? What if I’m never gonna be allowed to say it to you? I love you Mommy and we all love you.

Daddy loves you too, I can tell. I dunno if he tells you but he does, it’s in his eyes like they talk about in the Disney movies. He should tell you more, I’m gonna make him. I love Daddy with all of my squishy heart! And I don’t wanna see Daddy sad. And baby sister loves you. She’d be so sad if you were gone! We all need your hugs and smiles and kisses.

I’m gonna cheer for you like people cheer for my baseball team! The baseball team needs you too cause you’d be a good cheerer and they’d all love you! You can do it, you can do it. I’m gonna be waiting to hug you again because Daddy said not to give up and Daddy’s right!

There is something I've found that I need to do. And if I told you you would not like it. It involves going away for a couple of days.
