hmm I don’t know you you have done this but MC get caught red handed murdering someone or stealing something valuable by RFA. >:3
RFA catching Mc murder/ steal something valuable
TW!
Hey! This sounded quite familiar but I never wrote something like this, lol...okay so once again I mixed the topics, I hope you like it ;) tell me your opinion!
Trigger Warnings: Mention of death, blood, toxic relationship, killing, abuse
Tumblr media
Jumin
Blood.
This was all Jumin Han saw when he entered.
The floor was tainted in that liquidy red color and at that very moment, Jumin Han feared that someone hurt you. Someone finally decided to take revenge on him to make him crumble and decided to hurt you.
Well, he didn’t expect that it was the other way around.
Somehow Jumin was sure that he should first check the situation before calling for help and he did the right thing as the story twisted.
You sat over the one guard he took in two weeks ago.
Blood was all around him as you panted, you holding a knife deep into his stomach.
The man didn’t move anymore.
,,Mc…’’ Jumin whispered as he saw you.
,,Jumin,’’ you whispered and turned around to him. Your face was bloody, some scratches on your cheek were left while your eyes were red and teary.
,,He… he began, he deserved it… he… he took my underwear and… he even let Elizabeth the Third… God he was such a pervert. I just had to, but then he-’’
,,Mc-’’ Jumin stopped you and hugged you.
He didn’t mind that you were sticky from that man’s blood. He didn’t care that you just killed a person since all he cared about was you and you were alive.
,,I will make it disappear and I will protect you, don’t worry,’’ he smiled and cupped your face between his hands.
,,Just go shower. I will take care of it,’’ he promised and this promise was never broken.
Zen
,,I can’t believe that they sell real jewellery here at the beach. I mean real silver and actually not… steel,’’ you mumbled.
You and Zen were currently in Italy since you finally had some free time.
It was a beautiful time. The both of you had time for yourselves and didn’t have to think of work, or schedules, or meetings, or rehearsal. It was just you, Zen, the beach, and the lovely atmosphere around you.
,,Mh, I can’t either,’’ Zen nodded in agreement, but then saw a bag that caught his attention.
The both of you were currently in ,,San Vito’’ in ,,Abruzzo.’’ The city wasn’t well known and so not that many tourists were around you guys at the moment.
You noticed that not even the one who was in charge of the booth stood at his place and without thinking, your hand slowly slowly moved to the shiny jewelry.
It wouldn’t hurt the man if he would miss just one ring, right?
You decided to take it in your custody when someone suddenly grabbed your hand, making you shriek and let go of it.
,,Were you trying to… steal it?’’ Zen asked you without letting go of your hand.
,,No I-’’
,,Mc, answer me. Were you trying to steal the ring?’’ Zen asked you again and suddenly you felt your heart beating quicker and quicker.
You were, but you wouldn’t tell him.
,,This man… sells this because it’s his job. He needs it and you were trying to… steal it, I can’t believe you,’’ he stretched and pulled your hand away from the booth.
,,Hyun I-’’
,,Just, let’s walk. We need to talk about this,’’ he sighed, trying to find the right words to check if you did it more than once...
Yoosung
,,I can’t believe you!’’ Yoosung groaned once the both of you finally got home.
He was angry, hurt, and disappointed by your actions.
He was embarrassed and at that very moment he felt just so… vulnerable. He wasn’t able to do anything.
Earlier that day, when the both of you were shopping, he caught you stealing. You were trying to until he caught you.
As soon as he noticed what was about to happen, he called out your name and ordered you to walk in front of him, leading you with words towards the cashier where he first paid for his goods.
Then he made you go to the car and once the two of you were in there, he asked you once again what you were planning on doing.
,,You’re out of character,’’ you mumbled as you noticed his sharp tongue towards you, something that made him get angrier.
,,Me, out of character?’’ he asked you again and laughed angrily.
,,I didn’t think that I would marry a robber then,’’ he said, but decided to discuss more at home.
And indeed you were now sitting in front of him.
He was standing in front of the couch, telling you about the respect towards others and that he didn’t understand your actions.
,,I needed… some adrenaline,’’ you confessed and finally looked up. ,,I’m sorry for what I did… I really am…’’ you honestly confessed and began to sob.
Yoosung was angry, however, he couldn’t bear to see your tears and so with a hug he assured you that he wasn’t angry, but that he wouldn’t accept you doing this again and you promised him that you really wouldn’t anymore...
Jaehee
The shining clock on the empty table was… almost smiling at you, the gold Rolex attracted you and suddenly your hand was on it, your fingers strongly engulfed around it, ready to pull it to you while no one was around you.
Well, so you thought.
Suddenly, a warm hand was on your left shoulder, making you shiver. You didn’t care to move a finger and instead held your breath.
The owner of the clock, you thought. However, soon the soft voice made you breathe in relief as you heard Jaehee calling your voice.
It was okay. She wouldn’t judge you, right? You didn’t do anything after all…
Well, so you thought.
You took your hand away from the clock and turned back to her just to see her sad face.
,,What are you doing?’’ she whispered. But before you could say anything, a third person approached you.
,,Sir, please don’t leave your valuable things at the table. The shop won’t come up if something gets lost,’’ Jaehee informed the customer who deeply thanked her.
,,It holds a big value. It belonged to my dead boyfriend. I would be devastated, thank you,’’ she smiled and left the shop.
,,Everyone has something they value, not because it was expensive, but also because of the emotional value. You almost took both from her and I can’t understand why, Mc,’’ she told you, her tongue moistening her lips as she kept observing you.
,,I’m sorry…’’ you mumbled. However, she clearly told you that she wasn’t the one who was meant to receive an apology, but the customer and yourself for almost making a big mistake.
And with these words she left you behind. Of course, you quickly noticed how right Jaehee was...
Saeyoung
Your finacé was the last person who thought that you, his innocent girlfriend and soon to be wife, was able to hurt even a fly.
However, he still didn’t know how wrong he was.
He didn’t notice how much hate you had filled inside of you until, one day, he saw it with his own eyes.
The man on the floor already was unable to move as you made sure to chain him while your punches flew in his face.
The sounds of the breaking bones made Saeyoung gag as he kept observing you, unable to move or stop you.
Maybe if he moved back then he could have stopped you from killing the man. However, nothing seemed to stop you as you kept punching him, making his face fall from the left side to the right side, and from the right side to the left one.
,,Do you think that it was funny, huh? Son of a bitch. That’s funny, you asshole, stay vulnerable below my touch while I kill you,’’ you hissed and got up after you finally didn’t feel his breath anymore.
,,Why…?’’ Saeyoung asked you, still shocked from what he saw.
,,Because he deserved it. He was a mean person who imprisoned young children and the law wouldn’t have done anything. Now I am the law,’’ you told him and looked at your hands.
,,How many times did you do this?’’ Saeyoung finally dared to ask you, scared of the answer.
,,He was the second victim. The first one was my own grandfather,’’ you confessed.
Saeyoung loved you, but something scared him about you. He didn’t know if it was the fact that you did it twice or the fact that you didn’t show any regret. However, he knew that something about you made him shiver.

MC giving RFA+Minor trio a gift for Valentine's day please! :D
I’ve tweaked this a little bit so it’s also a returned gift!! I hope you like it!! This is my second Valentine’s day request <3
RFA + Minor Trio Valentine’s Gift Exchange Headcanons
Yoosung Kim Valentine’s Gifts
You didn’t have to think too hard to decide on what to get Yoosung for Valentine’s Day, he had been complaining that he needed a new headset for a few weeks but had already spent his student budget on new limited edition LOLOL skins. The poor boy had already been reduced to instant ramen to afford these luxuries. You didn’t know too much about which sort of headset he’d prefer, so you just got him a decently branded one that had good reviews and hoped it would work.
You also wanted to get him some extra things to go in his giftbag, so you got him a new t-shirt tand some cute strawberry heart shaped Pocky, which you definitely didn’t buy with the pure intention of playing the Pocky Game with him. Of course not.
Yoosung would have put quite a bit of effort into thinking about what to get you for Valentine’s Day, since he didn’t want to screw up and be a bad boyfriend. He even asked Zen for advice, but didn’t think the bold, extravagant declaration of love really suited him.
Yoosung decided to go for the traditional route and gift you a little charm bracelet, a small bouquet of red roses and cook a meal for you. Of course, it was his special omurice, packed with extra love because it was Valentine’s day. He’d picked out the charm bracelet online, it was a little silver one with a sparkly star charm on it.
Zen/Hyun Ryu Valentine’s Gifts
If Zen knew anything, it was dramatic romance. He’ll pour Valentine’s clichés on you like it’s nobody’s business. Zen buys you a chunky bouquet of red roses, a big box of chocolate (he doesn’t usually eat chocolate because he doesn’t want the sugar to affect his skin, so he makes sure the box is extra big so he can cheekily pick at a few that he likes) and takes you out for an evening meal.
When you get home after the dinner, Zen will pick you up outside the door and carry you bridal style over the threshold, just because he wants you to feel like a princess in his arms.
You can also bet that Zen is going to sing for you for Valentine’s Day. He’d have spent a while picking out the song, and depending on what he thought was best, it would be 1) Your favourite song, 2) A dramatic love ballad from a musical he’d been in, or 3) a joking strip-tease song.
For your gifts, you’d have gotten Zen some new skincare products that he’d been looking at. You knew how much he loved his sheet masks so you’d brought him a fun selection to have a try of. Some of your favourite evenings with Zen were spent doing skincare on one another, so you wanted an excuse to do that more.
For his big gift, you got him a ticket for two to go for an all-exclusive spa day trip. He was flustered that you’d spent so much money on him, but you assured him it was for the both of you to spend time together and to enjoy!
Jaehee Kang Valentine’s Gifts
Valentine’s Day wasn’t a holiday that Jaehee had off from work if it was a weekday, so you were really lucky this year that it had fallen on a Sunday. She’d gotten all of her work done late on the Saturday night in order to have the day free to spend with you.
You got Jaehee a fancy new coffee maker that she had had her eye on for a while, but couldn’t justify to herself since her old one was still in fine, working condition. You’d imported some special coffee beans for her to try too. You also felt like it was important to give Jaehee some flowers too, since you knew sometimes she felt so dull and drab because of how Jumin made her dress for work, she deserved to feel pretty too.
Jaehee got you tickets to a musical show you’d been wanting to see, but had missed the tickets for. She’d seen that a pair of them had gone up for sale second hand and had quickly snatched the sale in order to get them for you. It wasn’t a show that she’d have usually seen, but she’s very excited to get to watch it with you.
Jumin Han Valentine’s Gifts
To start, you’d have gently implied to Jumin about setting a budget for Valentine’s Day, because God knows he didn’t know the value of money sometimes and you felt bad knowing you couldn’t match whatever he was going to spend. You didn’t want Valentine’s to be about money, but about your feelings for one another.
You told the chef on Saturday night that he wasn’t needed for breakfast since you wanted to make breakfast for Jumin yourself. You made him a spread of sweet pancakes with syrup and fruit and hand dripped his coffee yourself, taking the time to decorate a little foam Elizabeth the 3rd on top of it. You’d also made him lunch to take to work, and put a little note in it saying that you and Elizabeth missed him whilst he was gone.
Jumin had arranged for the two of you to go to an extremely overpriced restaurant for dinner, which is where you were exchanging gifts. You have Jumin a pair of cufflinks engraved with yours and his initials, which he immediately swapped the ones he was currently wearing for.
Coincidentally, Jumin also gave you jewellery, it was a beautiful necklace with far too many diamonds in. He clipped it around your neck, agreeing to himself that his selection was correct as it looked beautiful on you. He also added that there was another gift waiting for you at home, since it would have been inappropriate to bring to the restaurant.
He had gotten you a set of lingerie to wear for the night, obviously.
Saeyoung Choi Valentine’s Gifts
Seven was a hit at heart, and a car guy, so the choice was obvious: you were going to get him a giant Hot Wheels tracks with all the extra decorations. You spent far too much money on it, but knowing how happy it would make him made it entirely worth it.
You thought he was going to cry when he unwrapped it, and he immediately set it up and spent hours making the track and remaking it, adding extra obstacles, making the car go over Saeran’s head, loop, jump through flames- everything. He was so happy with your gift that he almost forgot to give you your own gift.
Which he then changed into-
Seven was going to be your maid for the day, outfit and all. He explained his gift by telling you he knew how much effort it must be to look after him, so he was going to look after you for a change, and ‘look good while doing it’.
He also got you a bunch of imported snacks that you had really been wanting to try, but couldn’t work out the proxy or shipping to be able to do it. You were swimming in snacks, you didn’t know where they were going to go.
V/Jihyun Kim Valentine’s Gifts
Always a romantic at heart, V would have put a lot of effort into your Valentine’s gifts and spent a lot of time considering it, he wouldn’t have wanted it to be a commercial gimmick but an actual symbol of his love for you. You felt the same, of course.
For V, you gifted him a new portable polaroid camera and cartridges. He had so many big expensive cameras, but a little polaroid captures fun moments and prints them instantly. They could capture moments without taking V out of it and distancing himself.
You also gave him a set of imported watercolours from Europe, since the reviews said that they were really good. He’d mentioned wanting to experiment more with watercolours, so this was the perfect time to gift him a set to practice with.
For your gifts, V would have first gifted you a weekend getaway for the two of you, knowing how stressed you had been recently. He wanted to give you a chance to relax and to just spend some time being utterly in love with one another.
Secondly, V gifted you a painting, of your hand touching a rose petal and being illuminated by the sun. He didn’t need to explain it, because he knew the painting reached your heart.
GE Saeran Choi Valentine’s Gifts
Saeran was always getting you gifts, so he wanted to do something extra special for Valentine’s Day, but remaining in the spirit of the holiday. He was in love with love, and wanted to show it.
You’d woken up to a room full of flowers, so many flowers. Saeran would have decorated the room silently before you had woken up since he wanted you to wake up to the beautiful sight. He’d tell you the meaning of each flower and how each one represents a different reason as to why he loves you entirely. You’d been awake about thirty seconds, this man is shameless with his affection.
Saeran would make you breakfast in bed and would cook for you for the entire day, making whatever you wanted to eat. He’d already made a bunch of baked goods in preparation whilst you were asleep.
Over dinner, you’d give him his gifts even though you were worried that they weren’t enough in comparison to what he had done. You gave him some seeds, a new pair of gardening gloves since he was continuously hurting his hands on rose thorns, a photo album of the happy memories the two of you had been making with the RFA and a little keychain that had a picture of the two of you in it to go on his housekeys. Needless to say, he cried.
Saeran had also got you another gift, a tiny gold necklace with a little heart in the middle of it. He said he chose it because he wanted you to carry his heart with you everywhere you go.
Vanderwood Valentine’s Gifts
Vanderwood absolutely forgot Valentine’s Day was a thing until the day before, when he wanted in on Seven trying on his maid outfit to make sure it still fit okay and had to immediately explain himself.
He was not someone to celebrate Valentine’s Day, since he didn’t want to get attached to anyone, but you had somehow wormed your way into his life and refused to leave.
He’d have gotten you a new laptop, since he couldn’t bear to look at that horrific old thing you were using. He set it up with anti-tracking software and made it as safe as possible to people like him didn’t steal your information, he wouldn’t do anything romantic, but he might be a little less mean to you for that day. He wouldn’t even say ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ to you, he’d just hand you the laptop and show you how to use it.
For your gift to Vanderwood, you tried gifting him a vape pen so help him cut down on smoking so much, but he didn’t willingly accept this. He took it, and would maybe use it when he was at home and no one could see him vaping though, since you’re the one who gave it to him.
Just to add an extra gift in, since you knew the vape pen wouldn’t go down well, you gave him a voucher for a coffee shop and an Elvish dictionary: you had insider information that Seven was about to change the intercom on the door’s language, after all.

Can you do one where Jaehee x zen are in the Cinderella story with glam being the stepmother, and echo and Sarah being the step sisters ?
“Kyungju, you need more colour in your cheeks,” Glam sighed as she pinched her younger daughter’s cheek and handed her some blush.
“Yes, mother!” Kyungju nodded as she turned to the vanity and began applying it.
“Sarah, curl your hair!”
“Eh?!” Glam’s older daughter looked aghast.  “But straight hair suits me so well!”
“Do as I say,” Glam snapped her fingers.  “I will not suffer further embarrassment after the spectacle you pulled at Jumin’s party!”  She sighed and shook her head.  “Passed over for a plain commoner.  Shameful!”
Sarah pouted and folded her arms.  “Jaehee!  Jaehee, where are my curlers?!”  After a few moments, Jaehee stumbled into the bedroom with curlers.  “Lazy girl!  What took you so long?!”
“I…”
“Oh, never mind.”  Sarah pushed Kyungju out of the way so she could sit at the vanity.  “Curl my hair.”
Jaehee heaved a tired sigh as she stood behind Sarah to curl her hair.
“That’s not fair!” Kyungju whined and stomped her foot.  “Jaehee, I need my hair ribbons to put into bunches!”
“No she doesn’t,” Glam said snappily.  “She needs the pearl barrette we got the other week.  Come now, dear, you aren’t fifteen anymore.  You need to let your hair loose.”
“Then where is my barrette?!”
Jaehee leaned past Sarah to grab the barrette on the vanity counter and handed it to Kyungju.
“But that’s mine!” Sarah whined.
“You’re having the diamond one, Sarah,” Glam said as she applied lipstick to herself.
“Wait, why can’t I wear the diamond one?!” Kyungju whined.
Jaehee sighed softly as she tuned out the voices around her, focusing on her task.
 ---
“Wash the dishes, clean the sheets, mop the floors…” Glam listed Jaehee’s chores as she ushered her daughters out the door.  “Oh.  And make sure to polish the jewellery.”  She turned to Jaehee, her lips curling up into a nasty smirk.  “My pearls, girl.”
Jaehee nodded as she took the pearl necklace off her and handed them to her stepmother.  Glam tittered as she put them on herself.
“Don’t get too comfortable.  I expect fresh baths to be drawn for my girls when we get back.  We’ll be back at either half midnight or later.  But don’t drink too much coffee, dear.  The scent is abhorrent after all.”
“Yes, of course.  Have a lovely time.”
The door slammed shut and Jaehee let out a breath.  She stumbled back and collapsed on the nearest chair. She slumped on the table and sighed tiredly.
“Maybe…just a short nap…” she murmured as she closed her eyes.
She sighed as she began drifting off to sleep.  She was disturbed with a sharp knock on the door.
She jumped to her feet and scurried across the room to answer the door.  Maybe Glam had forgotten something…
“Yes!” a cheerful voice rung out and caught her by surprise.  “It is I!  Godmother Seven Oh Seven!”
Jaehee adjusted her glasses and blinked blearily at her crossdressing acquaintance.  He stood there in a sparkling white and blue tutu, complete with large, glittery wire butterfly wings and a shiny foil wand with a star.
She blinked owlishly.  “…Not tonight.”  She closed the door in his face.
“Ah, Jaehee!  Wait!” Jaehee sighed softly as Saeyoung began knocking on the door frantically.  “I mean it!  Yoosung’s just coming with your dress and wig, he’s just running a little late!”
“A wig?  Why would I need a wig…?”
“Driver Kim is here too, ready to spirit you away to a well earned night of fun and revelry!”
“Luciel, I have chores to do…”
“Which is why Yoosung and I will do them for you!”
“Eh?!” Yoosung’s voice chimed in.  “Seven, you didn’t say such a thing…”
Jaehee sighed as she opened the door.  “Luciel, this is thoughtful really it is but…”
“But, Jaehee, you’re one of Zen’s biggest fans,” Yoosung said as Saeyoung strode into the house.
“I’m fine with not going,” Jaehee sighed as she let Yoosung in.
“You work too hard,” Saeyoung said as he set the wand down and looked around with a thoughtful expression.  “Hm, I see.  Anyway, MC personally picked this dress out for you.  You wouldn’t want to disappoint her, would you?”
Jaehee looked flustered as Yoosung took the silver dress out of its bag and showed it to her.  “It is…beautiful…”
“Just try it on.  We even have comfortable shoes for you.”
Yoosung fumbled around and pulled some stockings and plimsols that matched the colour of the dress.  Jaehee sighed as she conceded and took the dress off Yoosung.
“Don’t forget the wig!”
“Why do I need a wig?” Jaehee frowned as she took the long brown wig off Yoosung.
“Well, you wouldn’t want to be recognised by your step-family, would you?”  Saeyoung smiled.  “Go ahead. I’ll help brush the wig when you come out.”
Jaehee smiled shyly as she nodded and went into her bedroom to change.
 ---
“Oh, Jaehee,” Yoosung gasped as Jaehee came down in the dress. “You look beautiful.”
Jaehee fiddled with one of the locks of the wig shyly.  “You think so?”
“Of course he does,” Saeyoung scoffed before tottering over to her. “Just one last thing.”  He plucked Jaehee’s glasses off her face and nodded. “Now just let me do your makeup.”
“You know how to apply makeup?” Jaehee said as she was sat down.
Saeyoung pulled a large makeup kit bag out of seemingly nowhere. “Jaehee.  Every cosplayer is always prepared with makeup for every occasion.”  He tipped the bag upside down to reveal lipsticks, mascara, blush, foundation, eyeshadow and even some face paints.
“Oh my, this is more than what Sarah has,” Jaehee muttered as she picked up a lipstick.  “…This is better than what Sarah has.”
“Of course,” Saeyoung grinned as his hand hovered over the pile carefully.  “Yoosung, be a dear and start on the dishes.  After we send Jaehee off, we need to work together with cleaning the sheets.”
“Right!” Yoosung nodded as he made his way to the kitchen.
 ---
Jaehee rolled her eyes as Saeyoung dabbed his eyes whilst waving her off at the door.
“My baby Jaehee is all grown up,” he wailed.
“I’m older than you…”
“My sweet baby Jaehee…”
“Have fun!” Yoosung called as Jaehee stepped into the limo.
“I’ll try to be back for midnight!”
“You stay as long as you like!” Saeyoung called as he waved to her. “Don’t stress!  Fun never has a deadline for its end!”
“That’s what you think,” Jaehee sighed as she sat back and was driven away.
 ---
Jaehee was hesitant to step out of the limo.  There were so many people around the nightclub where the party was being held, wearing shorter dresses than her, flashing their long nails and jewellery, clicking around in their high heels.  They all stood behind a velvet rope in a queue.
She was going to stick out like a sore thumb…
“Miss Kang?”  Jaehee turned to the driver.  “Is everything alright?”
“I’m just…nervous.”
Driver Kim smiled at her reassuringly through the rear-view mirror.  “I understand.  Would you like me to circle round for you to calm down a bit?”
“No, no, I’ll get out now.  Thank you.”
“Oh.  One more thing, before I forget.”  Kim leaned across the passenger seat and opened the glove compartment.  He pulled out a gilded envelope and handed it to her. “Give this to the bouncer at the front of the queue.”
Jaehee nodded as she accepted the envelope and looked at the golden letters that spelled her name out in a cursive font.  With a deep breath, she opened the door and stepped out of the limo. Her blush deepened as several eyes landed on her and she lowered her gaze, slowly making her way to the bouncer at the front.
She presented the envelope, to which the bouncer took and opened it.  He scanned whatever its contents were before nodding.
“One moment.”
He pressed into his earwig and Jaehee fiddled with her hands nervously.  He murmured under his breath which was drowned out by the chatter of the ladies in the queue.
The door opened behind him and a smartly dressed man stepped out.
“Miss Kang?”
“Yes?”
“Right this way.”
Jaehee let out a soft breath before nodding and following him into the building, much to the displeasure of the chattering girls outside. Inside the club, there were lots of people dancing to the music, girls lining up the extravagant looking bar, snapping their fingers and fumbling with their designer brand clutches.
The man led her through to where another bouncer stood.  He paused and tilted his head, prompting Jaehee to curiously peek around him.  She covered her mouth as she spotted her stepmother and sisters in front of the bouncer, waving her hands.
“Glam Choi!” she said over the din of the nightclub music.  “Do you hear me?  I am the Glam Choi, I have performed with Zen personally, he knows who I am and so should you!”
“Not on the list, not allowed through,” the bouncer barked back, as if tired of her complaints.
“I must be on the list, check it again!”
Jaehee hesitated as her escort approached the bouncer and nodded. The bouncer stepped to the side and unclipped the velvet barrier.  Jaehee faced away from her stepfamily as they screeched about the injustice of their exclusion and hurried forward.
It was quieter as they went down the corridor, the music growing quieter as they progressed further.  They stopped at one of the doors and the man rapped his knuckles on it sharply.
“Miss Jaehee Kang.”
The door flew open and Jaehee widened her eyes as she saw MC in the doorway.  She smiled.
“Jaehee.  You came. I’m glad.”
“One cannot simply refuse an invitation from Luciel if he’s dressed as a fairy,” Jaehee remarked.
MC laughed loudly as the escort bowed and left them alone.  “Come in!  It’s good to have you here.  Zen and Jumin do not get along and I finally have a fellow fangirl to chat with.”
Jaehee smiled weakly as she stepped into the lounge.
There was faint jazz music in the background but Jaehee immediately recognised it to be from one of Zen’s first plays.  Her heart fluttered with the nostalgia as she scoured the room.  She held her breath as she spotted Zen at the bar, mixing a cocktail.
“Zenny!” MC called as she led Jaehee over.  “Zenny, this is Jaehee!”
Zen looked up and smiled at her.  “Jaehee Kang.  You are quite the celebrity.”
“I-I am?” Jaehee stuttered.
“Of course.  MC has spared no detail on your childhood.”
“MC!” Jaehee hissed and MC shrugged as she sat on one of the stools.
“Oh, you know, I couldn’t help but mention you when we were talking about his plays,” MC giggled.
“So tell me…” Zen hummed as he poured two cocktails out into glasses and added a couple of cherries into each.  “What is your favourite play?”
Jaehee looked flustered as he offered her one of the cocktails and took it with a shy look.  “…Dandelion Wishes Brought to You.”
Zen looked surprised.  “Really?!”  Jaehee nodded and he smiled.  “You’re the first fan to say that.  Oh my, that must have been a couple years ago.”
“I just think your performance as Jisoo was heart-wrenching,” Jaehee said with sparkles in her eyes.  “Your performance brought me to tears, you acted so well…”
Zen blushed and rubbed the back of his head.  “Ha.  You know, I first auditioned for the part of Jihae.”
“Oh?”
“Yes.  I’m not fond of cats so I thought I’d be more comfortable as one of the rabbit characters. Then the director decided to cast me as Jisoo instead.”
Jaehee’s heart skipped a beat at this information as she fiddled with the cherry stem and looked up at him in awe.
“Oh, I’ll be right back,” MC said as she stood.  “I’ll introduce you to Jumin later, alright?”
She patted Jaehee’s shoulder before going across the lounge to join two men, one with black hair, the other with turquoise.  Zen huffed.
“That jerk,” he muttered.  “He’s lucky to have a girl like MC.  Not that he deserves it.”  He turned back to Jaehee and sipped his cocktail.  “But enough about him.  Tell me more about yourself.”
“Oh, there isn’t that much to tell,” Jaehee said with a deep blush and looked away.
“Nonsense, MC has talked my ear off about you.  So, tell me.  Is it true that you skipped a few years in school and left poor MC in the dust with your academic success?”
Jaehee’s jaw dropped and she finally met Zen’s gaze.  “…It was just two years.  My father had given me personal tuition when I had fallen sick one summer.  He was afraid I’d fall behind if I kept being sick into the school term.  As it turns out, he was a better teacher than he gave himself credit for.”
Zen’s eyes lit up and he smiled brightly.  “So smart!  I’m so jealous.  I dropped out of school to pursue my acting career…”
“But that is admirable!  You achieved your dreams through your sacrifices!  I look up to you for that.”
Zen looked taken aback before smiling.  “Jaehee.  You’re so nice.”  He stood up straight.  “Let’s get ourselves more comfortable shall we?  I spy a couple of spots on that sofa there.”
Jaehee nodded as she picked up her glass and followed him to the plush looking sofa.  They chatted throughout most of the evening, wrapped up in their own bubble with no-one willing to pop it.  Not even midnight’s strike could pull them apart.

The Holy Mountain - Alejandro Jodorowsky (1973)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thoughts whilst watching:
Quite confusing, very random and surrealist (Film has links to Dadaism??) but very visually stunning and follows some sort of plot - following the man
Very trippy and so much symbolism and metaphors
Very influential
Some scenes are very ritualistic - even if they aren’t obvious as physical rituals - the instrumental sounds, singing/chanting as well as pace, costumes and mise en scene give it a very mystical/ spiritual element. Even some of the actions they do such as the fighting, combined with the music makes it very ritualistic
Interesting sound treatment :
Barely any dialogue - director didn’t want any
Instrumental - spiritual, trance-like, meditative, immerses
Examples of symbolism and metaphors:
There’s a scene in the tarot room where the Alchemist gives the Thief objects and items such as a sword - ‘ to dare’ , and a silver object on his face ‘to be silent’ - almost Biblical .
It looks very choreographed as well which is pretty interesting.
In another scene the Alchemist (Jodorowsky) removes the makeup of two women, removes their false nails and jewellery and cuts their hair. This represents the removal of vanity - what makes their souls impure. The characters positioning of facing the camera brings the audience forward of part of the ritual.
Interesting background to the film; Jodorowsky supplied his actors with psilocybin mushrooms and asked them to spend 3 months training in Sufism, yoga and Zen meditation under the guidance of Chilean spiritual master Oscar Ichazo

I’m So Sorry Zen...
“Dada, where mama?”
Zen sat up and rubbed his sleep filled eyes as the little boy climbed clumsily up onto his bed.
“She must have woke up first,” Zen replied, stifling a yawn. “Maybe she already has your breakfast ready.”
The child rushed off, heavy feet stomping towards the kitchen. Zen smiled, but the smile faded when he felt that MC’s side of the bed was already cold.
The kitchen was empty.
“I’m hungry,” the child complained.
Zen ruffled his sons hair, silver like his own, and set about preparing some cereal.
“Where’s mama?”
Zen chewed his lower lip. He didn’t know where she was. “I’m sure she’ll be back soon. Maybe she went to the store.”
Seemingly satisfied, the boy began to devour his breakfast.
Zen looked around. MC’s coat was gone, so maybe she really had gone out somewhere, but why hadn’t she woken him, or at least left a note?
Zen returned to the bedroom they shared, and he was sure he felt his heart stop beating. All her things were gone. Her clothes, her jewellery, her make up.
BZZZZZ
Zen’s phone vibrated and he picked it up with trembling hands.
“H-hello?”
“Zen...”
Seven’s voice sounded as weak as Zen felt, and Zen dropped to his knees.
“I’m so sorry. I... I couldn’t keep it going. I’m sorry.”
“What are you talking about?” Zen asked, failing to keep the tremor from his voice.
“The reset,” Seven replied. “I’ve been trying to hold it off for years, but... Shit, I can’t believe it... is she really gone?”
Zen hung up the phone and let it slip out of his hands, dropping to the floor.
The tears began to fall, heavy and unstoppable and he felt his heart turn to ice in his chest.
He felt like his sorrow might kill him.
He hoped that it would.
“Daddy, don’t cry.”
The small and gentle voice made him squeeze himself tightly, trying to keep all the pain within him self.
“Don’t worry,” said Zen, placing his best smile in his lips. “Daddy just stubbed his toe!”
The boy quickly dropped to the floor to kiss the injury “All better now?”
Zen pulled the boy to his chest, hugging him close. “I have you, I have to be alright.”

“Can I have a Dirty Werewolf?”
RFA Coffee House AU - Halloween
Pairing: Zen x Reader/MC
Summary: The RFA are baristas at Rika and V’s cafe.  Contains fluff!  …Not as dirty as the title sounds. <3
Word Count: Approx. 1500
Protip:  The ever-so-generous @digitalscratch-arting bestowed upon me an illustration!  (I’m so happy!!)
Halloween wasn’t for everybody, but its main perk was obvious: the excuse to dress up as a colourful character with minimal judgement from the public. And anybody could appreciate a good costume, whether one dressed up or not. You couldn’t help but admire some particularly intricate outfits as you walked to your favourite coffeehouse: Rika’s Coffee Shoppe.
It was a crisp day; just warm enough that trick-or-treaters could openly wear their more practical costumes. The sun was close to setting, so there were a few witches sporting warm scarves, and you spotted one or two ninjas wearing a fluffy hat. You had to smile at that; practicality and panache collided.
As you swung the cafe door open, the usual bell that you were familiar with hearing was replaced with a witch’s laughter.
That’s different, you thought, looking up in surprise and seeing a tiny plush pumpkin swinging where the bell used to be.
“HAPPY HALLOWEEN!” Someone screamed from the counter, then laughed when you flinched.
“Seven!” you exclaimed, your voice sharp, but an involuntary smile starting across your face.
There were three of the usual baristas at the counter: Seven was leaning casually near the register, doing nothing useful, Saeran had his head down as he wiped the counter down, and Yoosung was finishing off the drinks for a small group of girls at the end. The twin redheads were wearing coordinated costumes; Seven was dressed as a pharaoh, complete with ornate headdress and jewelry, and Saeran had a mummy costume on. However, on closer inspection as you came close, you realized Saeran was wearing his favourite sweater and jeans underneath costume bandages. He didn’t look like he had planned his costume.
“…Did you get ambushed by Seven this morning?” you asked the quiet barista.
“How could you tell?” he deadpanned, giving you a bland look.
You both shared apologetic smiles, yours warm and bright, his cool but not unfriendly. Saeran often got caught in the wake of his brother’s shenanigans. It was all too easy for you to imagine Saeran coming down to breakfast, half awake, only to be attacked by Seven with a giant roll of mummy bandages. Thankfully, this was one of Seven’s more harmless pranks.
“Your usual?” Seven called to you from the register, his heavy jewellery tinkling as he waved enthusiastically at you.
“Yes, please!” you answered, heading over to him, already pulling your wallet out.
“Aw, but you didn’t even look at my special menu~!” Seven pouted, motioning to the chalkboard behind him, “Look! I worked so hard on it!”
You raised your eyebrows, then looked up to the menu board. There were fancy mixed drinks designed especially for the holiday.  Some were cold, most were hot, and they all had names that had something to do with Halloween, like “Boo-berry Tea” and “Vampire Elixir.”  And somebody had doodled decorations representing each drink beside their description.
“Oh, those are cool!” you complimented, seeing how detailed the new drinks were, “Did you make the recipes up yourself?”
With a glint in his eye, Seven started to answer, but Yoosung quickly interrupted, stuffing a napkin into the red-head’s mouth. You saw that the blond was wearing a black cat costume, with a leather belt for a tail and black mask over his face. He looked oddly familiar…
“Saeran and I did,” Yoosung interjected, giving Seven a dirty look, “We stayed up late for the past three nights, taste testing and experimenting. Seven was supposed to help, but he ended up just sucking down whipped cream the whole evening. If he even showed up.”
“What…well…I named the drinks!” Seven protested, his eyes filling with alligator tears.
You smiled at their antics, knowing this was a typical day for all of them. You half-listened as you continued looking at the new menu.
“Nope, still Saeran and me,” Yoosung insisted, crossing his arms and ignoring his friend’s tears.
“I…wrote the board?”
“That was Saeran! You were supposed to help, and you didn’t show up at work until we were already almost done decorating the board. And then you said, ‘Eh, you’re almost done, anyway!’ then you ate a whole cup of whipped cream.”
“…I drew the kitty pawprint in the corner there,” Seven said meekly.
Yoosung fell silent. You saw him glance at Saeran, who was now polishing the coffee mugs. He made a tiny nod, and Yoosung’s expression softened.
“Fine. You drew…” the black cat turned his gaze to the board, searching for Seven’s handiwork, then he frowned again when he found it, “…that dinky thing right there? That’s it?!”
“Have you chosen your drink yet, valued customer?” Seven jumped in, hurrying to lean over the counter towards you with begging in his eyes, “Please?”
“Um…I would like to try…could I get a Dirty Werewolf?” you requested, looking at a Chai-based drink.   It looked hot, spiced, and tasty.
“Comin’ right up!” Seven said eagerly, and with that, he ran off to the back room, out of sight.
He ran so fast that your hair shifted in the direction he had disappeared to. Even Saeran and Yoosung looked stunned.
“Do…” Yoosung paused, then looked to the back room door, “Why…?”
Saeran openly sighed and continued with polishing mugs. Seven didn’t take long; soon, you all could hear his footsteps reapproaching…as well as someone protesting?
“…-et me go! My shift doesn’t start for another half hour! What’re you doing, Seven?!”
Crashing through the door, the red-haired prankster hauled another of the cafe’s baristas behind the counter. There was a blur of red mixed with silver hair, and suddenly, a tall, beautiful man in costume tail and ears stood before you.
“Your Dirty Werewolf, just like you ordered!” Seven grinned, motioning to his coworker.
“I’m not dirty, you-…oh. Oh!” Zen started to growl at Seven, but he stopped and softened as soon as he realized that it was you at the counter, “Uh…h-hey! Hey, how are you!”
You smiled and greeted him back, slight embarrassment colouring both your faces. Zen had been your secret crush since you started visiting this cafe. He was handsome and sweet and courtly, with just the right amount of romantic cheesiness to make you weak at the knees without feeling too guilty about it. Being who he was, he was always popular with the other ladies who visited the coffeehouse, but he always drew a rose on your coffee cups when he served you. You didn’t know if it was special, or not, but the gesture still warmed your heart.
“You’re a werewolf!” you said, gesturing at his ears and tail.
“Yeah! Not a dirty one. Not really. Just a werewolf,” Zen said quickly, the points of fangs barely visible as he spoke, “Uh…what’re you dressed as?”
“Hm? Oh…” you looked down at what you were wearing, then chuckled, “Uh…the heroine from one of my favourite games. She wears a beige sweater-dress like this one.”
“I like it! You’re really cute!” Zen blurted, then clapped a hand over his mouth.
Seven started to laugh, but Saeran slapped a hand over his brother’s mouth, stifling his own laughter with his other hand. Yoosung, you could see in the corner of your eye, had slapped his forehead before continuing to pour a drink.
“Really?” you asked without thinking, the notes of hope in your voice completely silencing the twins, “Th…thank you! I like your costume, too…it suits you.”
Zen chuckled, the tension easing from his shoulders, and he leaned more casually against the counter. “I’m glad you like it.”
“He wasn’t even gonna dress up until V said it was mandatory,” you thought you heard Yoosung mutter to Saeran.
“I, um…I ordered a Dirty Werewolf,” you said shyly, “But I was kind of expecting the one with cinnamon…”
“Oh, wel-“ Zen started, but mid-word, Seven shoved a stick of cinnamon into his mouth, effectively silencing him.
“As ordered,” Seven grinned, ignoring the glare Zen was sending him.
“Please take the Zen to go,” Yoosung sighed, handing a completed handcrafted beverage in a travel cup to Zen, “He’s been making your drinks with ‘extra TLC,’ as he calls it, since you first started visiting, and frankly, it’s getting exhausting.”
“Really?” you asked again, constantly being surprised that evening. You turned your gaze to a now openly blushing Zen, “You…you have?”
“…guys, I really don’t need the interference,” Zen grumbled, “Do you have any idea how emasculating-“
“Is that a flower that you’re drawing on that cup, there?” Yoosung asked, looking pointedly at your Dirty Werewolf.
All of you could see that Zen was drawing a rose onto your cup with a special red marker he had in his apron pocket.
“…your drink, princess,” Zen mumbled, holding the drink out to you.
“Thank you,” you smiled, taking the cup and subconsciously cradling it over your heart, “…I’m sure you draw flowers for all the girls.”
“…Just my favourites,” Zen said reluctantly, then coyly added, “And I only ever have one favourite.”
He gave you a smouldering, suggestive gaze, and you felt your face heat up in response.
“Um…s…so when does a Dirty Werewolf get off work?” you said offhandedly, the slight quaver in your voice betraying how casual you wanted to sound.
Saeran had to stifle Seven’s giggles again.
“About 10:30, tonight,” Zen said sheepishly, “How about you come here, and I’ll treat you to dessert?”
“I’d like that! Um…I’ll see you then?”
“Yeah! ..and happy Halloween!”

So.  That inspired this fic!  And Halloween gave me the excuse to make Zen a werewolf.  Otherwise, we’d have a crazy, supernatural coffee house AU, and that’s a bit of a hat on a hat…
Yoosung’s costume was a reference to Chat Noir (from Miraculous Ladybug)!  Saeran, I wanted to tease with Seven, and I wanted them to have matching costumes. Jumin and Jaehee were supposed to make appearances, but they didn’t really fit into the story… Jumin was supposed to be a magician, but all he did was add a cape, and he happened to be pale from a cold, so he was accidentally dressed as a vampire.  Jaehee, I wanted to wear a maid costume.  V and Rika were supposed to be a Grim Reaper (black cloak, anyone?) and Neil Gaiman’s Death, but again, I didn’t have much of an excuse to add them.
Thanks for reading!  I hope you enjoyed it!
