I saw the new Zelda game... specifically I was looking 👀 at the fact river zora exist alongside lake zora.

Not many know this about me (In fact, no one might), but this is an idea I've been infatuated with since I first played the oracle series (another couple of my all time favorite Zelda games, though I consider them both as one unit). In one of my older (dead) aus from over a decade ago, i played with the concept before, a Romeo and Juliet style romance between a river zora and a lake zora while their tribes are feuding. (Though back in that AU my river zora was closer to canon)

Its funny that despite how many things change, some things still stay the same. Here's my current AU river zora x lake zora OCs ❤

I haven't delved into all the races present in the world, but I'd say it's pretty standard fantasy species with my own twists on them. Nothing too fancy, as they are not a *huge* part of the overarching plot. (Listen I'm working on the plot post-)

Happy 7th Anniversary Dishonored: Death of the Outsider!

Just like the previous games, DOTO holds a very special place in my heart. I like DOTO's story, which i know is divisive, but I've written before about why i feel it fits perfectly well as a bookend to the story as it is. But even if you don't care much for the story, you cannot deny it is a beautiful game. From the buildings people live in to the secret places no one is meant to see, it catches your eye in so many ways. Here's just a few shots I've taken from the game that show off it's beauty.

For Cait and Sam!

13. What is something they find hot about their S/O?

The thing Sam finds most hot about Cait is her enthusiasm. He loves seeing her shake off the shyness and reserve and start throwing herself into life full-bore, and when that enthusiasm is turned on him? Fires up his reactor something fierce. He also has a fascination with her eyes; he loves seeing the shift and swirl of their hues. And when the color in her eyes goes cool and dark and comes in lazy swirls…

To no one's surprise, Cait finds Sam's voice an utter turn-on, especially when it drops an octave, goes all rough and quiet like they're the only two people in the universe… this will be explored in more detail in an upcoming chapter. A close second is his scent: sandalwood and spice from his cologne, well-cared-for leather, and the hint of salt and Akilan dust that just can't be gotten out of his hat. Voice and scent both hit Cait in the primal part of herself that she's just now starting to recognize, much less come to terms with…

47. If it ever came down to it, who is turning to the darkside to save the other?

Cait. Cait will absolutely sacrifice everything she has, everything she is, to keep Sam and Cora safe. What she has yet to understand is that, should that ever come to pass, Sam will follow her down and drag her back up into the light.

54. What's something that they don't really care for but tolerate because S/O has an interest?

For Cait? Sports. She gets that people enjoy it on an intellectual level, but the idea of taking vicarious pleasure in stylized violence just does not click with her. But Sam enjoys it, and that means she's content to stretch out on a couch with her head on his thigh, half-napping while he watches the latest game. It's something Sam appreciates, even if he doesn't have the same problem. At least in the early days of their relationship, Cait's interests are very similar to his (exploration, adventure, discovery). The closest he might come would be Cait's love of books; he's less of a reader than Cait, but he's fine with that because it's an interest Cait and Cora share, and he adores watching his girls bonding over a good book. So less toleration and more intense approval.
