He stood there, looking like his usual intimidating self as Shang Tsung droned on, indulging in one of his monologues. Again.

Except there was a slight twist to it for Bi-Han.

As he watched Shang Tsung pace, back and forth, waving his hand carelessly, Bi-Han felt a sudden urge to…take his hand.

It was stupid. He scowled, trying to snap himself out of it.

Their opponents, who were on their knees, thought he was scowling at them. They flinched.

It didn’t make him feel better.

He rolled his shoulders, eyes drifting back to Shang Tsung’s hand. His fingers were slender and nails well-tended to. He knew the hands were soft—pathetically soft, he reminded himself. The man stopped doing any difficult task the moment Bi-Han walked into the room. They had once shown signs of calluses, but Shang Tsung had managed to avoid the hard work for so long, they had softened again.         

Bi-Han glared daggers at their hostages, as if it was their fault he was suddenly feeling this way.
