Okay okay okay so imagine that Akutagawa has been just a little more sickly than usual— coughing a little more, kind of dizzy, etc. and Atsushi makes him some soup to soothe his throat— which works!! But now, Akutagawa is nauseous because he’s not used to being full, much less full of something liquid </3 cue Atsushi being like ?!?! Is this my fault?!??

WONDERFUL...I've been thinking about this all week I think...maybe it's getting colder outside and there's some correlation there with Akutagawa's health declining a little...he's cold all the time too but even worse now, so Atsushi really thinks some warm soup could help from multiple angles...Akutagawa isn't super convinced it'll help, but sometimes he doesn't have the heart to tell Atsushi no when he's just trying to help 🥺 so he drinks all of it...and Atsushi is glad to see that he did because he never eats enough anyway !! but he starts feeling sick pretty much right away 😔😔 he tries to lay down and just hope the nausea subsides but it Does Not. and now he feels it slosh around in his tummy every time he moves, he feels hot, and it's so miserable and Atsushi feels so unbelievably guilty 😭😭😭

hey mollie!! does adventuring pay well? or is it like a hobby? i assume it doesn't cost cheap to start adventuring..

... maybe not as much as you might be thinking? Money isn't a big problem in our world, and the folks in charge of safety make sure equipment and supplies are easily accessible and available even if we start out with nothing anyway. Making sure people don't starve lost in the woods is generally a big safety concern, so they deal with stuff like that.

Adventuring by itself makes barely a feather - but doing things like gathering herbs, berries, and cool rocks helps! Salem's a huge help - since I can go and get a bunch of potion ingredients for them, they're willing to do all the trading with materials for money for me!

Really, that's the main point of it. If you've got friends helping you out, the small details like that become a non-problem. Getting into adventuring is really a question of bravery, risking flight and feather to dangerous environments and awkward conversations both.

▪︎ Mornings with Hu-geng are calm. He's prepared everything for you the night before to ensure that nothing will disturb your well deserved sleep, including himself.

▪︎ There are many mornings where he rises up earlier than you, a habit of his that has yet to break even now. He doesn't feel tired one bit, especially when he gets to wake up right next to you, watching you sleep peacefully with a quiet smile.

▪︎ When it's time for you to wake up, he's already dressed and ready to serve you. Want a change of clothes? Here, freshly ironed. Want him to brush your teeth? He'll laugh but do it in a heartbeat. Want him to give a good morning kiss? Of course, right away.

▪︎ Even when the two of you are preparing for the day together, he'll still tend to you first, making sure that you are dressed appropriately and well taken care of before him. “Hu-geng, I can do this by myself.”

You look away bashfully, red dusting across your cheeks as Hu-geng buttons up your shirt in a swift manner. He looks up at you apologetically before replying, "I'm sorry, young master. It's just that I've been doing this for you for so long that my hands moved on their own.”

Despite saying that, he doesn't stop for even a minute. After buttoning up your shirt, he places you in front of the mirror and picks up a brush, making sure that it's of the utmost quality before combing through your hair, humming a soft lullaby that was starting to push you into the realm of unconsciousness.

“If you keep spoiling me like this, then I might become a bad spoiled child.” You whisper sleepily, speaking out whatever was on your mind without filter.

His combing hand suddenly pauses, making you lift your head up to meet his wide blown eyes in the mirror. If you looked closely, you could see small blush starting to form on his face, or was that the sunlight bouncing off his face? You didn't know and you didn't have time to ask when he suddenly bends down and kisses the time of your head, pulling away with an endearing smile stretched across his face.

“The young master will always be a good child in my eyes,” he states seriously, honesty brightening his eyes. “As for being spoiled, I believe that it's only right for me to do at least this much as your companion and lover.”

Gently, he covers your hand with his own, intertwining your fingers together before pulling them to face him, pressing a firm kiss on the inside of your palm before smiling at you through the mirror.

“If this is considered as spoiling you, then please allow me to continue doing so. After all, you deserve to be spoiled even more than now, and I'll continue to take care of you no matter what befalls us in the future.”

I always yap about Akutagawa being the sick one, but something about Atsushi being sick in front of Aku has my HEAAART… like I’m one to think that Atsushi gets anxious and stuff when sick, and idk I feel like that maybe brings out some of his abandonment issues (canon?? Idk but. Heh. I said so😛)… and he’s probably crying and freaking out and Akutagawa is just like…?? It’s not that deep??? Until he realizes WHY UGH UGH UGH!! Anyways, Akutagawa rubbing Atsushi’s back while he cries and throws up☝️

you're RIGHT I love these two because you can switch who is sick and it's always so good...Akutagawa is always getting onto Atsushi about letting go of the past and working on his trauma (hes a massive hypocrite but Atsushi does not know this) so Atsushi tries REALLY hard to keep it cool when he starts feeling sick. Telling himself he'll be okay and Akutagawa won't care, he's seen Akutagawa sick plenty of times anyway !! but it hits him kinda hard and fast because of how much he's overthinking it and he Cannot hide it anymore. He's so nauseous and he can't breathe from how much he's thinking about how he doesn't wanna throw up. Akutagawa being kind of like you know I don't care about that stuff you should throw up if it'll help you feel better stop being a baby🙄🙄 but slowly realizing through Atsushi's irratic behavior that this stems from some deep rooted shit he went through at the orphanage😭😭 so Atsushi's sobbing when he finally throws up against his will, and all Akutagawa can do is try to act as nonchalant as possible because he quietly understands the last thing Atsushi needs is any heightened emotion around him of any kind....Akutagawa just rubs his back and reminds him to breathe and he secretly feels bad for him😔😔😔 Akutagawa is sick all the time and he's learned to deal with it to the point where he doesn't care, but Atsushi cannot handle it mentally at all

stoppp do not make me think of trio death. i can't handle it i need them to live but and then die together THEY CAN'T DIE APART,,,,, if they die apart the trio is incomplete and now nothing will ever be the same!!!! ugh. but i have asks to answer and responses to deliver,,,,, so lemme think about it. i can't just say that none of them would care/they'd laugh at the other's death because that's BORING (even though it'd probably be canon.) so we're going MORE that than. we're going mtt poly core (or just close friends???? mayhaps. they decide what they are i can't force them to be together (until i literally do but anyways))

ok let's start with the coolest idea. how would dust react if either horror or killer died and he was close to them???? i'm totally ripping this off from I THINK @daigakuimouu on twitter but like. phantom killer. phantom horror. what if dust hallucinated them after death. idk how they would die but it would totally be out of guilt like how he didn't prevent them from dying or be nicer or show his care for them more. and compared to phantom paps (who's actually fairly nice. nicer than most people depict him as i think. he's still PAPYRUS even though he's made of dust's LOVE) the hallucinated killer and horror would be WAYYYYY meaner than the real them. they'd constantly berate dust for not being guilty or good enough and if he moved on they'd always remind him of their deaths so he'd never REALLY move on. like phantom paps said "your torture begins from now on. enjoy this nightmare!" but like the mental torture is wayyyy worse. if horror were still alive and dust told him about his killer hallucination he'd believe dust (because phantom paps is very much so real and he's aware that dust can hallucinate) but he'd be so guiltridden that he'd totally brush it off and pretend that dust's killer hallucination doesn't exist. he's still in the denial/anger part of grief. but if killer were alive and he told him about his horror hallucination i think killer WOULD believe him and he'd actually feed into the idea. constantly asking what ghost horror's saying and what he looks like and if he can talk to him and such. so silly dust is with his silly little hallucinations (he is in an incredibly bad mental state)

i already implied it but horror would deny it to hell. he'd be like its not my fault and they wanted to die anyways or random bullshit like that so he can pretend that he isn't absolutely missing dust/killer/both and that it isn't effecting him deeply. when he makes food for three people and forgets that one or both of them are gone he scoffs and puts the extra portion in the fridge. then the fridge just starts filling up with leftovers because horror doesn't wanna get rid of food he made for dust or killer. horror makes a pun/insult (he would do both) directed towards dust and then forgets that he isn't here anymore and then switches over to killer after a moment of reflection and rememberance. sees killer's unmade bed and is about to tell him to clean up after himself but again forgets that he's not there anymore. makes it even WORSE if theyre both gone it'll be so sad i can't. i CANT THEYRE SO SAD WHEN THEYRE NOT TOGETHER. my trio isn't a trio without all three!!!! he'd take the longest to get over it. dust keeps on telling him about his killer hallucination and its probably real but he doesn't wanna be reminded that killer's gone. because dust hallucinates the dead. killer's oddly quiet and horror's trying everything to get him to talk because he doesn't wanna be reminded that dust's gone. because killer's only quiet when he's thinking. OH my trio,,,,, if they die they all have to die together im sorry

again like i said earlier killer would be pondering. a thinker. he thinks therefore he is but damn are his thoughts confusing. he's noticing a lot now that either one or both are gone now. like how horror always seems to hold him tighter in hugs now that dust's gone or that dust seems to be talking to him a lot more now and to himself. he notices how there's always a missing seat at the table now and how their bed feels less cramped and how the house is quieter now. neither dust nor horror were ever the loud types but its REALLY obvious now that they're gone. he doesn't know how he should feel he doesn't know how he DOES feel. its just. like. empty. like something's wrong badly. maybe he'd go hopping around the multiverse to horrortales and dusttales and watch the horrors or dusts there. but he doesn't ever interact with them. he just watches wondering why he still feels so empty even when there's dust and horror right there?? yah then then the upcoming stage 1 breakdown comes up and then he has to come to terms with the fact that's actually grief and longing he's feeling WHOOPS. a shame nobody will be there to help him if both of them are dead,,,,,

if one of them dies all of them have to die im sorry. the law of mtt they cannot exist seperately. i explode into w tiny little bitty pieces if there's a trio who's missing one. that's INCOMPLETE i tell you. horrordust without killer is like solid and gas without liquid. kist without horror is like minecraft sword and pickaxe without axe. horrorkiller without dust is like pencil and pen without paper. it's not PERFECT without all three there,,,,
