☆MR.PLANT HEADCANONS!!!♡
(TW: Mentions of religion, murder)
*Was diagnosed with ADHD/ Autism at a very young age, but it took a really long while since he had to constantly write stuff in pen instead of talking.
*Has hated pens since he first learned to write because his shaky hands write terribly in pen.
*Despite not being able to talk, he can laugh, scream, and hum. He really likes stimming by laughing because it feels like the one chance he gets to sort of talk. (That felt really sad-)
*Grew up in a Christian household, and even though he isn't religious now, when he's really scared he'll pray just in case. (I'm really sorry if that came off as disrespectful or anything, please let me know if it did I'm not Christian so I wouldn't know that well)
*Has really noticeable eye bags due to his lack of sleep, when he was a teen he used to put some of his mom's makeup on that specific part to cover it up but stopped after he got bullied for it.
*He was definitely a mama's boy and still is, he visits her weekly to take care of her and Emails her often to talk with her.
*Is a workaholic to a dangerous level but can never keep a job as he always murders someone in the end.
*His special interest is knifes, he has a lot for cooking and eating, along with to kill people. He always looks for new ones whenever he can, like a kid in a candy store but he limits himself to only buy 2 at a time. He also looks up facts and articles about them a lot, it feels very comforting to him.
*Speaking of knifes, he cooks really well! Ask him to make anything and he'll be amazing at it to a whole new level. He has at least 2 cabinets filled to the brim with spices and herbs and tea packets. Whenever Argos comes over he likes to bake some new treat he learned how to bake and insist he tries it. (They're usually French or Italian)
*He has a Funk Pop Keychain he got in High School of Deadpool and pirated all the movies with it and read all the comics as a kid. He knows the second one word- for- word and summarizes the movies and stuff when he's bored.
*He has very good hygiene to an impressive level, and he still has one of those hand sanitizer rubber things from a few years back. He has a weird habit of carrying around tooth picks despite not being able to open his mouth.
*He'll grab onto Argos' hand and just start squeezing it out of nowhere. Don't ask why, not even he knows. Not like he could answer anyway.
*He watched Aqua Teen Hunger Force as a kid (if ykyk) and his favorite was always Master Shake because of his voice and risky humor.
*When he uses a computer he always minimalizes tabs, never keeping an unnecessary one open because he gets really frustrated at computer lag. He also plays music on one tab when he wears headphones. And his favorite game to play on it is Yandere Simulator because he likes to make all the characters really upset at his answers. (Took inspo from Ashur Ghravi there)
*He always picks at his fingers when he gets stressed. He tried a picky pad but he hated the noise the beads made and the texture of the silicone so he threw it away along with his other failed attempts at stopping the habit. He gets really insecure when people talk about his hands, he always thought they were too boney and cold for anyone including himself to like them. (He cries when they leave him alone after)
*When talking music his favorite artists are John Leher, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and Lemon Demon. (Don't tell him he has to pick just one.) He really likes music from the 70s - 90s music, old- times music always brings him nostalgia from his parents and grandparents playing it when he was little, it brings back memories to playing around in the summer heat and relaxing at home.
*He enjoys dressing simple a lot because it feels like he doesn't have to worry about dressing himself too much. But he ADORES looking at really stylized outfits, the more complicated the better! He watches Rupaul's Drag Race so he can judge the outfits along with the actual judges (But who doesn't???)
*He's grown really good at slow dancing over the years. But he always waits for someone (Argos) to ask if he wants to dance because he doesn't want to seem like he's showing off. But when I tell you he feels like a brand new person, swaying along with the music, taking in every word and step and tap while he dances, I mean he feels like he could become the next background dancer for Mitski. And he feels so proud of himself for that!
*Hes definitely a salty over sweet kinda guy, with sugar he can only take so much of it before he has to be excused. Yk? Thats why him and Argos always go to the same place, because he feels like when he knows what he can get each time he can prepare himself more for what he will eat. (In other words, safe food) And when I tell you he gets picky about food, I don't mean he only eats a handful of things and refuses anything else. No. I mean he's a.. Selective eater. Like, he loves trying new foods and he's willing to try anything. But for example, let's say that he hates mustard (same) and you give him something with mustard. Now, he will eat it and be nice about it, but that doesn't mean he'll enjoy eating it. Got what I'm tryna say? Okay.
*He loves watching old black & white films to try and decipher their 1900s talk to now. He often has to pause the movie to look up what certain words mean, but usually he knows what they're saying and he just laughs along about it.
(WRITER TALKING) Okay, so, thanks for reading this!!! I really hope you liked it! :0 I adore TWOMP so much its ridiculous, but I obviously have a favorite. Mr.Plant is honestly the most relatable character I've ever seen in my life, everything about him makes me go "HE'S SO ME!!!!!" if I'm honest. Anyway, I hope you liked it. Bye. :3

Welcome To ArtisXan!
About:
ArtisXan is a small business owned and operated by queer, disabled, neurodivergent, trans individuals. We sell a wide range of items, including discreet and fun chewlrey made of body-safe silicone intended for use by teens and adults.
Xan has been crafting since they were in middle school. They shifted focus from knitting to digital art. The chewelry business started when Xan found that having a body-safe silicone necklace was a great way to help them stop biting their nails, but could only find bulky designs that stood out. They used their own style to start assembling necklaces that were subtle and matched their aesthetic while still providing the physical stimulus of the larger designs. Since then, they have expanded from necklaces and bracelets to keychains, zipper pulls, and pens.

FAQ
Who is this good for?
These are especially useful for people who need items to fidget with, pick at, chew, squish, pull, or stretch! All the chewelry is made using materials that can be cleaned and are body-safe. Any item can still be a choking hazard, so these are not intended for young children or individuals who may be at risk for swallowing objects.
Are these chewable?
Yes! All of the beads we use on the fidget chewelry are made from food-grade silicone and can safely be chewed!
Where can I buy these?
You can find all of them on Xan's Etsy store! It is under the same name as their TikTok and Instagram (ArtisXan)! Their work is also in physical stores in Wisconsin.
Can I use these even if I'm not diagnosed, or am not neurodivergent?
Absolutely! Chewelry is not limited to any specific need or diagnosis. You can wear it just because you like the way it looks, or feels!
Do you make the beads yourself?
With two exceptions, our beads come from other suppliers. We don't have the facilities to make our own beads. We buy them from a combination of distributors and also directly from manufacturers. However, we did run a kickstarter to make two custom beads in collaboration with an artist who works with body-safe silicone! These are the morel mushrooms and the moon phase beads.
Are the other designs yours?
Yes! The stickers, art prints, pins, and other items are designed by Xan!
Can you make custom pieces?
We can customize some of our items, yes! We are happy to work with people to make pieces they'll be happy with, such as personalized pronoun chewelry! We are restricted to the beads we have and the prices may vary but we will always do our best to find what works best for you!
Will you ever make [insert bead shape here]?
We work hard to find pieces that suit Xan's brand and what people request! But we can only make things that manufacturers have created so we have a somewhat limited scope of options. However we are always looking for new beads and frequently find ones that hadn't been out before!
Why is [insert piece] more expensive?
Some of the beads we use are more expensive than others and so to offset the price we have to adjust the price a bit! We do our best to make sure that all the pieces are still within an affordable range for as many people as possible! And we do weekly giveaways to give more people a chance to get pieces even if they can’t afford them.
Can you make it without the small bead at the bottom or string it differently than shown?
Absolutely! Feel free to leave a note when you purchase to let us know you'd prefer a knot at the end, or for the main bead to be strung sideways without a knot or bead below it!
Why are are some of the pride necklaces different than the flags?
Some flags use so many colors, or so many shades of the same color, that we can't get enough of the beads to make the flag exactly, or to make the flag at all! For the Sunset Lesbian Pride and Aromantic pride, we have not been able to find body-safe beads that match the rest and come in different shades of orange, pink, and green, so some colors get combined for those designs. We keep an eye out for bead colors though!
Why don't you have a pride flag/pronoun necklace for [blank]?
Either we haven't had anyone request them, no one bought them when we did sell them, or they are ones we can't feasibly make. For example, we love the Progress Pride Flag but if we tried to make it we would run out of space for all the colors and it would be way too expensive for people to buy! (We do have a Progress Pride focus bead though!)
You can always contact us if there is a pronoun you want to use, or to ask if we could make a flag. We are willing to try!
What kind of bead should I get?
It depends what you want to use it for! The higher durability beads are best for biting and can take more heavy-duty fidgeting. Squishy beads are better for twisting and pinching. Textured beads are good for picking and rubbing.
How often do you make new designs?
We release new items and themes on a regular basis. Patreon and Discord users can get previews of what is coming out soon, and even suggest ideas. The chewelry depends on what we can source, but we continue to look for new beads. Xan designs stickers and other art frequently, and now that we have had a successful kickstarter we are open to the idea of making more unique beads.

tip for closeted regressors
okay so I’ve never seen anyone mention this
if you look up “diy teether” on YouTube you’ll get a bunch of videos using silicone beads
You see these keychains??
y’know what they’re made of??
silicon beads.
so yeah. They’re trending rn so you can tell your parents that a friend had one and it’s really cool or if your keychain actually broke you can say you like that one and want a new keychain.
And then take off all the tassels and key rings and you’ve got a teether
Can confirm it’s a very nice chewwy, I got a rainbow one and I love it very much

@littlebluebun i wasn’t sure what to do for this one cuz when i think of soft i think of like plushies n stuff,,, but i did my best! i searched up what some soft stim toys would be n what came up is what i would consider more smooth (cuz some of it was like hard plastic toys) but i decided to include some that i saw from the search that i had so hope that’s all right :]
i have-
reversible octopus plush (which i just realized if i’m counting as a stim toy i should’ve included this in the one showing my purple stims cuz this flips to purple- oh well 😓)
keychain with 3 little fluff ball things (it originally had one but i got 2 more n added it all to the same keychain)
sensory slug
scrunchie that has beads spread throughout it
some random hairband that i found that had the weird fuzzy thing on it lol
silicone sponge (it’s double sided! the other side not shown is like,, dull ridges on it)
and a koosh ball!
as u can see not everything is inherently a sting toy, but i repurposed it for my sensory needs :]

"Unique, nature-themed fidget jewelry designed by ArtisXan!"
I'm very excited, my friend's business is doing a kickstarter! They have never done custom beads before. It's a small business, only 3 people, but they have been getting more popular! Even if you aren't interested in the kickstarter, they have lots of other things to check out. Necklaces, bracelets, stickers, keychains, skate accessories, pins, earrings, and pens.
The stickers are all designed and drawn by ArtisXan, lots of nature and pride themes, as well as a bunch inspired by favorite media. The jewelry is food-grade silicone, and comes in discrete and fun designs intended for adults and teens.
Some of my personal favorite stickers are the "Emotional Support Water Bottle" and the "Do Not Perceive Me".

I think from my experience with resin during this past week what I consider are necessities are a lot more expansive than I thought... I initially thought just buying resin, molds, and using my leftover shrink paper would be enough but it’s kind of not. just because working with resin gets messy fast, and one of the surfaces it doesn’t stick to is silicon. so buying mats, mixing and measuring equipment is basic too, not to mention weighing out the correct amount of epoxy resin requires a scale. If you’re making keychains you need clasps, jump rings, screw eye pins, and I’m not creative enough to just use my limited materials to decorate my shakers so I need stickers, glitter and beads and clay... bro? I’m broke. also! to color the resin you need pigments or at least acrylics but my paints don’t saturate the resin enough and shrink paper is way too thick to be used as a film. I don’t think making these shakers are hard per se but you have to invest a lot of time and money into it... In full honesty, I think it’s a little worth it though. seeing those stupid little keychains in the sunlight make me feel insane and I haven’t even made one I’m fully satisfied yet.

For any Jewish friends and followers I have, I have a slightly odd but sincere question:
I make keychains with silicone beads, and I would love to make my Orthodox Jewish boss a couple keychains with these focal beads for Hannukah (he’s saving my spine as well as giving me a job lol) but beyond that I’m a little stumped, not being Jewish myself. I usually do a focal bead at the top by the clip and matching/accenting round silicone beads under it. Should I just stick with that? Is there anything I should avoid? Thank you in advance!! 🥺💜
