I’m selling the Power Rangers Legacy Green Ranger cosplay helmet and Dragon Dagger I used in my most recent episode of Silent InvenTOYry... I hate to part with them, but I need the space. Both items are used but in very good condition, and the Dragon Dagger’s electronics are tested and working.

As part of my ongoing efforts to actually DO something with my humongous collection of Japanese toys (and to be able to afford buying more of them), I thought to myself, "Why not start a toy review series?"

The only problem being, I don't exactly have a great voice for audio work, especially not when I'm under pressure and being filmed.

So therefore, Silent InvenTOYry!

All my snark and obsessive knowledge of toys and Japanese media, with no potentially cringe-worthy dialogue to get in the way!

For my debut, I'm reviewing my new S.H. Figuarts Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Crystal Season III Version.

See a side-by-side comparison with the original 1993 DX Megazord, and be stunned at the difference 24 years makes! It took five months of working off and on on this episode due to a number of setbacks, including an utterly ludicrous shipping delay... but it's finally here. I hope you enjoy it.

EDIT: I realized too late that I misidentified MMPR's Super Sentai source material as "Kyoryuger" instead of "Zyuranger". As embarrassing an error as that is, especially for a huge Power Rangers/Super Sentai geek like myself, I've already rendered and rerendered this video four times, so it's staying up as-is for now. Chalk that one up to exhaustion.

To celebrate the long-in-progress, finally completed NEW episode of Silent InvenTOYry, featuring my review of the Soul of Chogokin Megazord... well, you see the title, don't you?

The six 'bots in this picture (three of them Soul of Chogokin, one Super Robot Chogokin, one SoC A-Spec, and one Masterpiece Transformer) represent pretty much my entire life's worth of love and fandom for transforming giant robots of Japanese origin. I may be known as the magical girl guy, but I'll always, always have a place in my heart for a quality mecha. And oh lordy, the SoC Megazord is the definition of quality mecha.
