When you and Leo started dating, you were already on your way to a three-month-milestone of sobriety; and you tell him as much when it's finally there, since you're so proud of this achievement and want to celebrate with him. He is incredibly supportive of you and makes you the absolute most delicious pizza you've ever eaten for the occasion.

He'll take you to your AA-Meetings whenever he can and also picks you up from them, which you really appreciate; especially on those days where it's all just that much harder on you.

If you're uncomfortable with any sort of alcohol in your presence, like when Leo would be drinking a beer or a glass of wine, he's more than happy to make sure there is never even a drop of it around you - he doesn't mind not drinking when you're with him, after all.

On bad days with your gender dysphoria, you'll crave the numbing effect of alcohol more than ever and it causes you to almost relapse on several occasions; but fortunately, Leo is always here for you, patiently talking to you and distracting you, making you good food and cuddling you to get your mind off of things. Of course, he always sprinkles little reassurances in there, telling you how incredibly handsome you are and what a wonderful, strong man you are.

Every milestone is being celebrated with him; no matter how small or insignificant you might think it is - he's all over it and you, because he's the proudest boyfriend in the world and he wants to make sure you know it.
