Too Scared to Let Go(To Lose You)
Characters; Lynette, Navia, Xiao, Scaramouche, Lyney, Kaeya, La Signora x gn Reader
Summary; they wont let go of you, no matter what. They can't protect you from harm when they aren't there, so they hold you close to ensure you're there. they've already lost so much.
Warnings; angst, maybe a little bit yandere,
Notes; i did the obvious like xiao, scara, signora and stuff but if i make a part two ill maybe put someone like barbara or nilou in, but that would just be them having intrusive thoughts... probably. will add diluc and venti there as well dont worry, love you
Tumblr media
Lynette
She always thinks that you're going to die at some point, get kidnapped or just straight up leave, these thoughts come up once every week or so. But when your out and about or just working late, her thoughts run faster than ever. Of course she has lyney and the rest of the house, but she's just gotten so used to being with both lyney and you now that it doesnt quite feel the same. So her solution is often to hug you as tight as she can when sleeping, hoping you wont disappear in the morning.
And of course you try and help her as much as you possibly can, reassuring her that you wont leave and that youll find a way to get back to her no matter what happens when out and about, but that sometimes just doesnt cut it.
She doesnt cry often, but when she does its a lot, tears streaming down her face for an hour or two, and even longer if you, Lyney and Freminet aren't there with her.
Navia
She cant let go of you in the morning, it was always like that, but it had gotten so much worse after the loss of her two beloved bodyguards. She often mumbles in her sleep about you and how she wants you to stay. Something along the lines of:
“no… no, don’t go, stay… please!! Just stay with me!”
“please stay… stay with me… where did you go… no, come back, please…”’
“[name]… please stay with me… please… just stay…”
You have to wake her up when it seems like she’s panicking and try your best to comfort her, but sometimes she just doesn’t get any sleep because she wants to make sure you don’t disappear while she is asleep. She is of course the same shining Navia when around other people like the Traveler and Paimon, but everyone can see that she doesn’t want to let go of you at all, fearing you’ll vanish if you leave her line of sight for even just a second, its like you’re glued to her.
If people ever see you, they know for a fact that Navia is also there, no matter what. Oh, you want to go over and wish your friend a happy birthday, well she can carry a gift for them with her so you don’t have to. You wanted to cook something but is missing one singular ingredient, you can you go get it together, don’t worry she isn’t putting back anything for it (she totally is, and has multiple offers and such she should be taking a look at rn).
Xiao
He says he shouldn’t be near you all the time, but doesn’t let go when you make him give in to his desires. He’ll hurt you, and you know that, so why are you still here with him. Wait, no, he isn’t trying to make you go away, please don’t, ever. He just cares about you enough to not want you getting hurt because of his karmic debt, he loves you too much to let that happen. But the thought of you leaving him fills his mind more than the karmic debt at times, he dreads it, the fact that you’ll leave eventually, he doesn’t care if its by choice or fate, just don’t. please, please, please don’t leave, just stay with him, please.
He doesn’t want to let go, but feels he needs to, you tell him its fine yet he feels like it isn’t. it feels like he’s hurting you every second of being with you, yet he doesn’t try to let go, he doesn’t even give the thought a chance. you say you’re fine, yet he feels like you’re not. He
feels like hes hurting you, he’s hurting more because of it. But then why does it hurt more without you, why, oh why. What have you done to him, just what did you do that made him so addicted to you. Swear you’ll never leave him ever, and he will do the same, as long as you’re here with him he swears he wont hurt you, he’ll break the karma in half for you, he’ll do anything. Just don’t leave him, please don’t.
Scaramouche
Everyone would say he’s too cocky, confident, and mean. But that’s all because he doesn’t let them see the vulnerable side of him, the leftovers of Kunikusuhi, the side he only shows to you. He shows you they way he cries at the mere thought you could leave him one day, he sobs in your chest as you comfort him and let him focus and anything but the nightmares haunting his being. He wont ever be like that with anyone that isn’t you, he doesn’t give a shit about them they can do whatever, but you have to stay.
He doesn’t care about all the others as long as you don’t leave him too, he doesn’t care about anything other than you. So please, please don’t leave him, ever, he would watch the world burn over and over again as long as he has you.
If you ever told anyone that the 6th harbinger, scaramouche, cries at night just because you left to go get a glass of water, they would call you crazy, say he’s never cried in his life that you must have seen things. But you know its true, and he does too, even if he doesn’t like to admit it. He knows you wont go, you always say you wont, but he just cant let himself to believe you, not when he’s been lied to so many times. He worries too much about you and he knows that, but how could he not, he loves you, and will never let you leave him because you love him too, right?
Lyney
Although he may be the confident, charming and romantic magician Lyney everyday in public, when he finally lets go of the role at home he’s nowhere near that. He cries just because he wanted to see you and he finally did, he worries about not being able to save you someday. He’s a worrywart to say the least
If you were gone for too long, whether on a mission from father or anything else really, he would not be calm at all until you come back. he would only be rather calm after he got a letter from you or in one of his shows where he put too many layers of masks on to hide it. he wants to think that your ok, just as Lynette say you are, you're strong. but he still cant help but worry, and he ends up panicked and stressed, without sleep, too tired to think sbout anything else other than you. dont leave him, he wouldnt survive without you.
That's why you cant leave him. hell lose his mind, and destroy everything around him in the process. he cant let you leave, so please, please don't. his heart is already fragile, it beats only for you now, so don't leave. don't leave. don't... please... please don't, he cant handle that. so, please, don't leave him, ever. stay right here with him, forever.
Kaeya
He doesnt remember his birth parents, he hates them but a little bit, but mostly because they left him, he cant handle thinking about them. and it only made his pain worse when he lost the people he called his family once again, so he cant afford to lose anything else, not when he feels completely at home once again. you are his home now, his family, and his joy. so don't leave or he might lose his mind and start ruining himself from the inside and out.
He loves you, a lot, you're his reason to continue in life. so if he ever sees you leave he would cry, even if all you are doing is leaving his office after giving him his lunch, he would shed a tear at the sight. his heart is fragile ok? He can't bear to lose his life once again, not after his parents left, not after his adoptive family left too.
Don't go, stay, stay right here with him and everything will be fine. i will all be fine, you trust him after all, and he won't let anyone touch you, let alone hurt you. you're safe here with him, don't worry about them, worry about him. you've got him wrapped around your finger without even knowing, you could want a certain sweet from Inazuma and he'll get it as fast as possible. you can get anything you want, ok? The only condition is that you stay right here with him, and only him.
La Signora
She swore she wasn’t going to fall for anyone after her first lover died, so why did she fall for you, how did she fall for you. Honestly you don’t know and she doesn’t either, she doesn’t know how you were able to melt her ice cold heart back to normal, even if only around you and you only, if anyone else is around it freezes back quicker than lightning can strike. She thought she wasn’t able to love again after he died, but you proved her wrong, so you can’t leave too. She cant deal with the death of her lover once again, so don’t leave her, ever.
You hug her in the night as she cries a little, mad at you for leaving her in her dream, but still not mad at you, as her anger is mostly to the world for doing this to her. But don’t worry, she’ll fall asleep eventually as she always does, she does need her beauty sleep after all. But that doesn’t mean she’ll wake up and easily let go again or just get out of bed, she’s stubborn and want you all for herself a little longer. She makes you talk a little as you carefully brush her hair like she taught you to do, and she relaxes a bit when you tell her you love her while kissing her head.
As long as you promise you wont leave her, and keep that promise, she’ll love you forever, she cant bare to see you go out the door even if its just for groceries, someone else can do that don’t worry. Just come and relax with her in a bath, she can wash your hair and you can wash hers. She’ll take care of you like you take care of her, just don’t leave, please. If you ever left her alone for too long she would freak out, she does everything with you, baths, shopping, paperwork even, so she cant bear to be left alone for longer than 30 minutes or she’ll panic. So don’t leave her please, please, please don’t, she’ll even beg for you to not leave her, just stay here with her.

BULLIED CHUBBY GN!CHILD READER & PLATONIC FATUI HARBINGERS
Tumblr media
◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇
Childe was known as the friendly Harbinger with the extroverted peronality , he was immediatly drawn to gn!reader and as he saw you getting bullied because of being fat, he started hanging out with you
Soon he came to love you like a big brother, i mean you were quite cute and innocent
Every day he will meet you at the playground and he will give you snacks
You asked him if he has friends
"Childe.... do you have any friends other than me?" -You
"HUH OFC i have more friends! DID YOU THINK I DIDN'T HAVE ANY!?" -Childe
"..... (⇀_⇀)" -You
You really did think he didn't have friends💀🙏
So he took you to meet the other Harbingers
First meeting went great!
They all loved you because you were so nice and innocent to them!
Pulcinella took one look at you and decided he's your grandpa now💀
Scaramouche makes you Apple bunnies if you cry because of your bullies ( He's grumpy the whole time he makes them but secretly he's happy you like his food )
You came to them with lots of bruises one time
Dottore patched you up and you got lots of hugs from Signora
Pulcinella made you cookies with Capitano
Sandrone and Scaramouche both worked on a Mini robot you could shove into your pocket ( they may or may not put an Instant kill Mode on it😭 )
Columbina sang you to sleep while you hiccuped from crying so much
As you slept Arlecchino and Pierro planned on visiting your school and teaching them a lesson
The Bullies learned not to mess with you
Yes, they threatend the Parents of the Bullies and yes Pantalone threatend to take their house and money away 💀🙏
When you went to school the next day the bullies didn't even look at you-
But they did leave notes that said that they won't be in your way anymore
They all are quite overprotective of you, i mean look at you! Chubby and cute💕😭
"Guyss! I think someone has a Crush on me!!!ヽ(o^ ^o)ノ" -You
"..WHAT?ლ(ಠ_ಠ ლ)" -Everyone
The guy that had a Crush on you went missing
.. He's now being experimented on by Dottore
They all don't want you to date because what if that person isn't good enough for you? What if they make you insecure of your body again?
They did their best to make you love your body and you do now!
You love your New family a lot, they let you do everything you want
Eating more than you should? Thats normal! Eat more if you want
Playing longer on the playground? Ofc! Want to stay 4 hours more?
90% you're cuddling with one of the Harbingers, they love to hug you because you're so chubby
They will do anything for you and your affection, just be yourself and they will love you.
Summary: The Harbingers think you're an adorable chipmunk! They all will protect you from bad people and bullies. Please reward them with hugs and cuddles, they love yohr affection

no rest for the wicked (nor the foolish)
part eight: in which you're forcibly removed from your comfort zone by none other than the resident ginger, and you meet a certain someone's alter ego(s)
Tumblr media
a harbingers x gn reader series!! (includes dottore, childe, arlecchino and pantalone x reader. the rest of the harbingers will not be romantic interests)
notes: surprise surprise, the burn is still slow!! mentions of blood, gn reader with a dosage of snark that probably exceeds the recommended value
series masterlist
author's notes: *daddy's home plays faintly in the background, slowly but surely increasing in volume as i approach you on a hoverboard with a comically large witch's hat on my head and a ridiculous pair of sunglasses on*
word count: 4725
*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚**  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚**  ੈ✩‧₊˚*
It was, by all accounts, supposed to have been a completely normal lab session. You were planning the reaction route you’d take to test the enzyme you’d synthesised and the various ways to ensure its effectivity other than the rate of the reaction and the yield as you waltzed through the door (the inscriptions were glowing a pretty purple-pink hue reminiscent of sakura blooms that day). The redox apparatus from two days prior was sitting exactly where you’d left it, nothing out of the ordinary there. The abnormality came in the form of a segment currently in the process of detaching the round-bottomed flask where your product had accumulated from the condenser; the first thought to register was the sheer audacity for anyone to even contemplate touching your experiments, while the second, this is my chance to study the constitution of these ‘segments’ up close, wasn’t far behind. Glancing up sharply, your flask still clutched in his un-gloved hand, (a voice in your head shrilly protested his lack of adherence to safety procedures) the segment began moving away, no doubt to disappear to wherever him and the rest usually stayed. With more agility than you thought you possessed, you rounded the workbench and grabbed him by his sleeve.
“You. What are you doing with my condensate?” You demanded, grabbing the flask from between his fingers and setting it down on a stand. Now that the imminent danger of your work going to waste was neutralised, you took the time to analyse this segment of your supervisor’s while you had him cornered. This version of Dottore was at least five years younger than the one you were familiar with, probably from his late Akademiya years. And he wore no mask, leaving two brilliant scarlet eyes on full display, rimmed with pale blue lashes and dark shadows beneath them. The segment coughed and fidgeted, trying to find a way to escape your clutches.
“Hold still,” you ordered, reaching up to touch his face. You were startled by the smoothness of the skin, having expected something cold and metallic. How in Teyvat did he pull this off? You tilted the segment’s face this way and that, looking for hidden wiring or steel plating or anything else that would belie machinery, yet you found nothing. You gave his cheeks an experimental squeeze, and were further surprised when your fingers dug into what seemed to be soft skin, then dropped your hands, stumped.
“Huh. You look very human.”
“Prime did tell me that was the intention,” the segment agreed, flushed in the face and still trying to discreetly push past you.
Even his voice didn’t sound robotic in the slightest, riddled with natural dips of tone and perfect inflection for the context. Your eyes took in every detail, every movement, still failing to spot anything that would’ve given him away as a machine.
“Incredible. Did he give you a name?”
“No. Prime wouldn’t waste a second thinking about something so inconsequential.”
If you weren’t mistaken, the segment sounded almost bitter, staring blankly down at the wall with those striking eyes. You felt a twinge of pity; being a clone for Dottore was probably a thankless task. “Would you like one?” You offered, not unkindly. “If your system permits that sort of input, of course.”
“I- I have no use for such things.” It was strange to think that your Doctor, impenetrable and unmoving as he was, had been capable of stuttering to the point where he himself recalled and implemented the trait.
“How about Theta? I’ll need to distinguish between you lot somehow.”
“It’s of no difference to me,” the segment- Theta- mumbled, before shooting you one last look, then disappearing in the split second it took to turn your head in his direction. You wondered where he’d gone, and why he was so wary of you.
Oddly enough, you didn’t see the Doctor for the entire morning and well into the afternoon. It was far from ordinary for him not to be in the lab the moment you arrived, (you suspected he slept there, if he even slept at all) muttering under his breath as he worked and occasionally ordering you to hand him the wrench or scalpel or graduated pipette in a tone so entitled it tempted you to bash him in the head with the very equipment you handed him. Still, you couldn’t deny his usefulness. Having two pairs of hands was always easier than one, especially when the other pair was as experienced as they came; you could bounce any question off him and receive a convincing answer, even if he could never resist throwing in a mocking remark about ‘how shameful it must feel to have such a rudimentary fact slip your mind.’
However, you had much better uses of your time than fretting over the location of your boss, such as extracting a sample of noradrenaline from the brain of a body so fresh you half expected the eyes to open in the midst of your operation. Even after such a time-consuming procedure, the Doctor had yet to make an appearance. You wrote it off, assuming he wouldn’t be present that day, and ate all the fruit tarts you’d brought while boring holes into your notebook with your eyes and trying to determine what exactly had gone so wrong amidst your calculations that the percentage error was at an unforgivable fifty seven percent.
“One hundred cubic centimetres of sulphuric acid sounds unreasonable,” a voice from over your shoulder remarked. You blinked, refocusing on the sheet of paper. A whispered curse slipped past your lips as you registered where you’d went wrong; the decimal point of the volume of acid was indeed one too many zeroes to the right. You twisted to see who’d given you the hint.
It would’ve been incredibly easy to mistaken this segment for Dottore himself,  but he lacked the jagged scar spanning from above the mask to his chin and cutting right through the corner of his lip. This segment’s face also wasn’t as harrowed, unlike Dottore’s hollowed cheeks and deathly pale complexion. You probably would’ve missed the difference yourself, if you weren’t so accustomed to the tiny details of the Doctor’s countenance. The segment grinned lazily.
“Like what you see, sweetheart?”
Oh, for the love of-
You shoved him away with a roll of your eyes. Not quite as Dottore-like as his appearance suggested, then.
“You segments are rather friendly today. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“Since Prime isn’t here to hassle us about disturbing you, we thought we might as well make use of the main lab.”
A frown formed between your brows as you mulled over his response, absent-mindedly scratching out the mistakes in your calculations.
“Main lab? There’s others? And why would the Doctor forbid you from utilising it on my account?”
The segment leaned over, resting his elbow on the workbench and his cheek in his hand as he watched you. “What do you mean why”- a delighted expression crossed his face, and his resounding cackle made you look up apprehensively from your notes. “Oh, what a scream. You mean you don’t know?”
The notion of ‘not knowing’ made the scholar in you bristle. “Don’t know what?” You snapped, crossing your arms and turning to subject him to the full force of your glare.
“You’ll find out soon enough, lovey,” he replied with another laugh. You scowled.
Patronising piece of-
“I heard you even gave one of us a name,” he said, interrupting your furious train of thought. “I didn’t think you were so besotted.”
You clicked your tongue dismissively, waving him off. “Don’t be ridiculous. It’s counterproductive not to know the names of one’s assistants.”
It was the segment’s turn to bluster. “I am no one’s assistant!”
“Mhm. Be a dear, Gamma, and pass me the dichloromethane so I can make some aspirin for the inevitable headache you lot are going to give me.”
Muttering and grumbling and secretly preening over his namesake being a highly dangerous electromagnetic wave, he slid you the bottle and even a measuring cylinder and pipette to boot. You rewarded his extra efforts with a small smile, and Gamma suddenly understood every nonsensical thought that Prime had experienced since you arrived in Snezhnaya.
Throughout the day, more and more of the segments appeared from Archons-know-where and took to hovering around you while you go about your business, or chattering and doing a fine job of distracting you from whatever you were reading, or even rushing to assist you. You didn’t complain; it was fascinating seeing these different facets of the Doctor. Most of the older segments are rather similar to him, although Gamma had a rather prominent flirtatious streak, while another you’d named Omega was more snappish and impulsive. The younger ones were unfailingly comical; Theta was so easily flustered and a little more apprehensive about explosive compounds than the rest, and Pi, whose name referenced the pastry that was such a direct contradiction to his character, was rude, arrogant and reckless.
(“Since you’re such a bitter pill to swallow, I’ll call you Pi.” You grinned at your own joke. “No other aspect of you is remotely close to sweet, after all.”
Pi scowled animatedly, shattering the beaker in his hands from how hard he’d gripped it. “I won’t answer to a name given by a simpleton.”)
“Pi, clean the mess you made in the fume cupboard! Some of us have organic lungs that can’t handle toxic fumes, you know!”
“I don’t see how that’s my problem,” he snapped back, then slunk off to do as you’d told him when you weren’t looking.
The youngest of the segments, who barely reached your waist and had yet to even speak in your presence, had taken to trotting after you wherever in the lab you went, weaving between your legs and staring up at you with wide eyes half-hidden by a mop of messy blue hair. You’d come immensely close to tripping more than once, but you couldn’t bring yourself to scold him at all, instead nudging him out of the way like a cat sitting in the middle of the hallway. The segments were helpful enough, even if you’d been talked back at more times that day than your entire career as a lab technician in the Akademiya supervising young recruits, and by the time you were contemplating the prospect of heading to the dining hall for a bite to eat everything was in order; reagents alphabetically stored in their cabinets, counters wiped and glassware washed, even the enormous, curved windows were polished to a high shine. You spared them an approving look as you walked past, arms laden with bottles of (carefully separated) acidic and basic waste, admiring the aerial view of the snowy forest below, draped over the mountainside like a shaken-out blanket. The young segment was still tailing you, a lollipop you’d fished out from one of your pockets in his mouth; his utter disregard for where he was stepping had put you on your last nerve, but every time you sat him down in a safe corner he’d stare dolefully up at you before reappearing in your peripheral vision a few moments later. It was a wonder you hadn’t lost your temper, really.
“Epsilon, I can see your reflection in the window,” you pointed out in an unimpressed tone to the segment who’d been on the verge of grabbing your shoulders in an attempt to startle you. He huffed and grumbled, shaking the hair out of his eyes and cheekily tipping the neck of one of the bottles you were carrying as though to let the acid milkshake within, so to speak, spill, then pranced away from your scathing glare with a merry tune on his lips. You didn’t know how the segments seemed so familiar with you, as though they’d known you all their lives; Pi somehow knew how much value you placed on your leather gloves, as he’d threatened to use them for chromium extraction when you didn’t let him take one of your fungi petri dishes, Gamma had off-handedly mentioned how it was a shame your ear piercings had closed up years ago because you couldn’t match with their fluorescent blue test tube earrings, and Theta wordlessly handed you a pile of the expensive cider wood parchment you preferred to use and hurried away before you could say anything. It was baffling, to say the least, but you appreciated the extra help. It meant you could skip off to have a rather overdue lunch without fretting over something or other you might have mistakenly left over a Bunsen burner, even if it was strange leaving the lab without the Doctor’s voice criticising your lack of commitment to your education as the door swung shut behind you.
You weren’t even surprised to find Childe outside, leaning against the doorframe and tossing a dagger through the air, letting it flip over itself before catching it once more. When you opened the door, he stumbled into you and the dagger slipped from his hands as he nearly knocked you backward; but in a rare moment of swift reflexes you jumped to the side to snatch it from mid-air before it could stab either of you in the leg, only for Childe to latch onto your cloak as he fell and subsequently landing you on top of him. For a long, drawn-out moment, you just stared at each other; one of your hands pressed to the floor near his head while the other gripped the knife a safe distance above you. You quickly noted two things. One: Childe was bony and being draped over him was overall an uncomfortable experience; the apex of each of his ribs dug sharply into your chest, and two: his eyes were a peculiar, beautiful shade, less like the sea and more like heavy velvet thrown over something that glowed bright and blue, dimmed by the weight of the fabric.
Childe was finding it difficult to process anything other than your closeness. Yes, you were even more breath-taking up close and yes he would’ve given anything to place his hands on your waist and pull you closer still, but he was even more enamoured by the dips and points of your knuckles where your hand gripped the dagger, the creases in your leather gloves around each finger and the oddly calculating look in your eyes as you appraised him. You could stab him, he realised with a rush, staring up at you. You could drive the blade down and lodge it between his ribs and he probably wouldn’t be able to react fast enough because it was you, and his blood would stain your cloak and blouse and a coppery taste would fill your mouth. He wondered if Signora was right, and whether you really would look better in red.
You cleared your throat, breaking the spell, and Childe suddenly noticed all the other tiny little things he probably wouldn’t get close enough to see again. The notion that such things would remain secret almost made him panic, and it took considerable effort not to clutch at you as you rose to your feet and dusted yourself off. You extended your hand to him, and he allowed himself a split second of self-indulgence, the liberty of seeing your outstretched hand reaching towards his collapsed body as something more than it was; he let himself believe that you, so bright and resplendent in your every trait you might as well have been the moon, were offering him, a creature writhing in the darkness, salvation or even just a moment’s respite.
You hauled him up from the floor with a grunt of effort (he couldn’t possibly be as bony as he felt. All that weight had to come from somewhere), then took off your glasses and held them to one of the wavering white lamps, handing him the dagger.
“Hello, Eleven.” You frowned at the new scratches on the lenses and started rubbing them with the hem of your blouse, even if you knew it was a fruitless endeavour. “How long were you waiting out here?”
“Long enough,” he all but whined in response, slinging an arm around your shoulder and ruffling your hair. Your only protest was a half-hearted grumble as you shoved your glasses back on, and his chest warmed with the thought that you no longer instinctively rebuked his touch. “C’mon, Trixy. I didn’t think you were the type to ghost someone after a date.”
“What are you talking ab- oh, for heaven’s sake,” you said exasperatedly, shooting him a look as he walked towards the stairs with you in tow. “Don’t be so dramatic.”
He beamed so widely you nearly stumbled on the steps, blinded by the intensity of his glee.
“So you’re not denying it was a date?”
You sighed out an incredibly inappropriate curse, drowned out by Childe’s hearty laughter.
“You are an incorrigible man.”
“Well you went on a date with this incorrigible man,” he countered cheerfully and not without a healthy dose of smugness. That earned him a withering look, and you detangled yourself from his side as you walked down the corridor.
“Everyone makes mistakes,” you said with a shrug, laughing slightly when he let out an indignant splutter. Childe bristled, trailing after you with an exaggerated pout.
“You should apologise for hurting my feelings, Trixy.” “If I were to apologise every time I bruised your fragile ego I’d never have time to say anything else,” you teased, linking your arm with his and pulling him along. “Now come on, they serve an exquisite pumpkin soup on Wednesdays.”
You wondered at what point you’d become so friendly with the Harbinger, to feel relaxed enough to so casually poke fun at him. Maybe your self-preservation instincts were decaying. Maybe it was worth it.
“I don’t want to see that… Arlie again,” Childe protested. You looked at him sidelong.
“Oh?” You asked, feigning surprise. “Why not?”
Because she outranks me and I don’t like having to share your attention, he thought. “She beat me in a fight once,” he admitted grudgingly. It wasn’t even a lie; that bitter defeat was indeed part of the reason he felt less than ecstatic around her, though the atrocities she’d carried out to become the fourth Harbinger were impactful too.
“Infighting between members of the same organisation should not be the norm,” you stated, shaking your head. “You Fatui are ridiculous.”
Childe laughed, tugging you closer by your linked arms to elbow you in the ribs. “You’re one of us ridiculous Fatui now, remember?”
“I am not!” You protested, affronted, before sighing at the self-satisfied expression on his face and changing the subject. “Tsk. So you refuse to speak to her just because you lost to her once? That’s immature, even for you.”
“No, no, defeat is all part of the battle. I don’t like that she refused a rematch.”
You hummed thoughtfully, chewing over his response.
“So you believe you’d win this time?”
“Maybe,” he replied with a shrug, steering you past the dining hall’s entrance. “It doesn’t matter though, does it?” He continued, as though the idea of combat for the sake of combat was the most normal thing he could possibly conjure. “Sparring with a strong opponent is the real goal. Say, Trixy. Are you any good in a fight?”
You snorted. “I’m a scholar, Eleven, not a warrior. And even if I was, I wouldn’t spar with you.”
His face took on an almost comically wounded expression. “What? Why not?”
“Because I know when I’m outmatched,” you replied dryly, letting him drag you along. A dejected expression you felt compelled to ease fell over his face. “Although I do have passable aim with a bow and arrow,” you reluctantly offered, and the change in his demeanour to unadulterated ecstasy was laughable.
“Really?! You’ve got to show me.”
“What? No, absolutely not.” Your reply was swift and decisive, but Childe was nothing if not meddlesome and persistent.
“No, no, no, you’re not getting out of this,” he jubilantly exclaimed, tightening his hold on your arm as if to prevent you from running off. “We’re going to one of the training grounds right now, and you’re going to do some target practice.”
“I’ll use your bloody head as a target if you don’t drop it, Eleven,” you threatened.
“Great idea, let’s try that too!”
Even as you lamented his utter insanity, Childe steered you to the west wing of the palace where you’d never been before. Upon looking around, you concluded that all forms of combat training happened there; the sound of crashing steel and muffled gunshots, interspersed with the occasional crackling, sloshing or rumbling from what was probably from Vision holders practicing how to utilise their elements in battle. The silver in the walls was twisted into different patterns from what you’d become familiar with, abstract depictions of battles long-past and a whole wall of solemn, important-looking text gleamed almost menacingly, commanding the attention of any who walked past it. From your passable fluency in the Snezhnayan tongue, you deciphered it to be an oath of sorts where the reader swore to carry out a myriad of jovial things such as turning the snowy landscape into a ruby’s facet with the enemies innards or their own, and wreaking havoc within the heavens until it rained scarlet. All in the name of Her Majesty the Tsaritsa.
Wow. Bloodthirsty much?
You eyed the oath distastefully, missing how reverently Childe mouthed it as he led you into an empty archery range. Rows of targets stood on the other side, pockmarked and their paint scratched, with a few of them sporting an unfortunate red-brown stain. You were grateful that there was no one there, at least; if you were a little rustier than you remembered then there was no one to witness your mediocrity other than Childe, who was presently looking through the extensive selection of bows and chattering about the various advantages and disadvantages of different models. You riffled through one of the many quivers of arrows scattered haphazardly about, admiring the high-quality steel of the heads. Some of them even had meticulous patterns along their shafts, no doubt hand-painted, and you appreciatively traced a particularly striking golden dragon with tiny, methodical scales spanning the entirety of the arrow, ending at the head where the dragons jaws were open in a roar.
“Well, Trixy? What bow are you going to use?”
You glanced up from the quiver, twirling the dragon arrow between your fingers, eyes skipping over the countless bows laid across the stands. You noted the ones tossed carelessly across them with a disapproving glance, and eventually picked the one that was the most similar to what you remembered using, long-limbed with a straighter taper and made from wood you recognised as Yumemiru from the distinctive diamond-shaped whorls.
“Why that one?” Childe asked, mesmerised by the sight of you in his element with a weapon at your fingertips. What were you thinking about when your hands reached for that particular bow? Did you have any specifications, preferences in regards to size or even the type of wood it was made from? Were your eyes drawn by the faded blue leather wrapped around the handle? Would you prove to be better, smarter, quicker than he was? The thought sent his heart racing and his brain spiralling with the prospect of having you as a competitor, an opponent.
“Does it matter?” You replied with a shrug, testing its weight in your hands. “I’m no expert when it comes to the craftsmanship of weapons. The bow I learned to shoot was probably older than me with a string practically on its last life.” You frowned slightly, looking up at him. “Why do you ask? Is there some sort of technique or guideline I should follow?”
“No, no, don’t worry about doing something wrong,” he reassured, his back to you as he assembled a quiver of arrows. You lowered the bow to stare at him, flabbergasted that he’d so quickly and accurately read the involuntary hesitation in your answer.
“Usually we have beginners start with a compound bow, but you probably have your own inclination by now,” Childe continued, oblivious to your astonishment. “What you’ve got there is a longbow,” he added, tossing you an archery glove. “They’re generally more difficult to master and harder to use.”
You pulled off your glove after making sure his back was still turned before replacing it with the one he gave you, and then picked up the bow again with new interest.
“I see. And yours?” You asked, nodding towards the one he had picked, white wood gracefully curved and narrowed at the tips.
“This one’s a recurve bow. They’re better at close range and generally need more strength to draw.”
Childe couldn’t help but be entranced by your contemplative expression, all furrowed brows and a distant gaze as you took in the new information. He had to agree that you really were a scholar before all else; the pensive look you so often sported might as well have been made to be worn by your features. In your eyes, even an archery range became an experiment, a mystery to untangle. You sighed and turned to face the targets, nocking the arrow and drawing the bowstring back to touch your chin. Childe watched as you adjusted your aim, mentally evaluating your form, then let the arrow fly. He let out a low whistle of appreciation when it hit the centre with a satisfying thunk.
“Clearly your aim is more than just passable,” he remarked with an excited glint in his eye that you didn’t quite like.
“Accuracy is all I have,” you replied with a shrug, lowering the bow and gently pressing your fingers into the indent the bowstring left in your chin, perfectly aligned with the barely-visible scar there. You’d forgotten how tender the skin could get. “I doubt I can still hit a moving target, for one.”
“But you can get the bullseye every time?”
“Not every time,” you corrected, making your way to the target to pull the bow out of the wood. The painted dragon really was a masterpiece, and you took a moment to admire it before heading back to the archers’ stand. Childe grinned and followed after you, bow temporarily forgotten.
“So most times then?” He pressed, trailing closely behind you.
“Where are you going with this, Eleven?”
“I still think we should spar,” he replied brightly, so close he was practically breathing down your neck. “We’ll make it so that if you manage to shoot me even once, I go down, or we could”-
You twisted around to poke his chest with the fletching of the arrow, cutting him off. “No.”
“Please?” He implored, rounding on you whatever direction you turned to avoid him. “Please, please, please?”
“No!” You repeat, louder and with the full force of your irritation. “I’m not dying before I get this damned certificate!”
There was a beat of silence as he stared at you, slightly aghast. “You think I’d kill you?”
“…I don’t think you’d do so on purpose, no,” you conceded, taking out your pocket watch. “But your strength exceeds mine to the point where fearing for my life in a duel wouldn’t be unreasonable.”
“It is unreasonable to assume I’d ever hurt you,” Childe groused, continuing to block your path every time you tried to move past him. “Stop trying to get away,” he added, bending over to pinch your cheek. You stared at him, utterly at a loss for words, then quickly smacked his hand away with an irate grumble.
“I need to get away, I still have lab work to do.”
Childe flapped his hand as if physically shooing away the idea. “You work too hard, Trixy. Take a break.”
“And what do you think this little exercise was?”
“A chance to impress me with your archery skills, of course,” he replied without missing a beat, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly. You rolled your eyes with a quiet huff of laughter, pushing past him, and he dutifully followed after you.
“You’re not very difficult to impress, are you?” You teased back.
Only when it comes to you, he thought wistfully.

Tumblr media
If only I could hold you through a screen | Harbinger addition!
Characters: Childe, Arlecchino, Dottore, Signora
Summary: Self Aware Harbingers watch you cry, not sure what to do or how to help. All of a sudden you drop the line "I wish you were here with me."
Warnings: Reader is crying, possessive behavior, immense anger, violent thoughts, death, genshin spoilers
A/U: Self aware genshin AU
A/n: Thank you so much anon!! I'm so glad you liked it! SO instead of doing all the harbingers I thought of doing the ones that I have been introduced too through the game! Yes I'm including Signora, so that will be during her battle in that one weekly domain gut wrenching 👍Also sorry if this is OOC
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CHILDE
You staring at Childe through the character screen was off-putting enough for him. But then with tears streaming down your face? That was when he became deeply concerned for you. There was this anger bubbling inside him, he wanted to take it out on those that made you cry. He wanted nothing more than to be there with you to comfort you.
He started to do his idle where his bow shows up, resisting the urge to shoot something around him. You were hyperventilating, the tears overwhelming your eyes. He hated seeing you like this, he wanted to see your smile again. Your broken voice hit his ears as he put his bow away. He stared at you as you muttered to yourself.
“I wish you were with me…”
Your words shattered his heart. He didn’t think that you, an all mighty being, could be so vulnerable. And that fact you were so vulnerable in front of him, call him selfish, but he felt so happy that he was the person you could feel like this with. He just watched you cry, plotting the downfall of those that had harmed you. No one would get away with hurting a god such as yourself.
He calmed down as he saw you drift off to sleep. His eyes were dark with rage, as his gaze from your sleeping figure didn’t break. Your screen dimmed due to inactivity, and his body was stiff. There was only one thing in his mind. And that thought passed through his lips as you could slightly hear him in your sleep.
“Dry your tears, you will have a wonderful place here in the Fatui. You will be protected within the Tsaritsa’s care and mine too.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LA SIGNORA
You were crying as you had the pause menu open. You thought you could handle this fight against Signoria again. You never liked killing her over and over again, it was too much to your already aching head and heart. She realized you had stopped fighting her, and she saw your crying state. Signoria wanted to go easy on you, hoping you’d just finish this already. She didn’t like fighting you, much like how you didn’t like fighting her.
She felt so upset that someone could have this power over you. Signoria couldn’t even think that you, an all mighty being, could be so vulnerable. She then felt the battle continue, figuring that you decided to push through your sadness. She admired you for the way you would push though. Then the words you screamed out as you continued the fight with her hurt her so much.
“I wish you were with me!
Her anger couldn’t be contained as flames came out of her dress. It was a lot more intense as you tried to beat her. She let you win, however, with one of your best times in her domain. She just hoped it would have made you feel a little better. She saw you exit, feeling so bad as she wished you stayed. She longed for you, and she watched you as you stood outside her domain.
And after you fell asleep, standing outside the domain, AFK she could still see you. She could see your sleeping, tear stained face. It hurt her knowing that not only fighting her made you so sad, but someone outside their world made you sad. She brought a hand up to the window as she just stared at the carrier of your actions. She muttered out to herself, hoping you heard her in your resting state.
“Even in death, I will try my best to protect you, all mighty creator…”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DOTTORE
You had been attached to Dottore ever since he was shown in the manga. He could feel your attachment even before the game released, even before his story in the game was shown. He admired you so much, and he hated that he had to turn everyone in Sumeru against you. His cutscene played, but he was intrigued when he saw you crying. He started to think that you were so hurt by his plot, by how the whole story quest was going.
He wasn’t far away after that cut scene. He stayed around, wanting to make sure you were okay. But he could only hear your sobbing, and he got closer, wanting to comfort you. The more you cried, the more he wanted to see you. The more he wanted you to see him and his comforting gaze, and it hurt him when you stuttered out of your tears.
“I w-wish y-you w-were with m-m-me.”
He found your stuttering crying voice cute, but he wanted to help you so bad. Dottore couldn’t bring himself to accept the fact that someone could make you cry. It hurt him when you said that you needed him when he wasn’t there. He wanted so bad to be with you, to comfort you. His mind went to crazy places.
He noticed you were falling asleep, letting the dialogue pause to let you sleep peacefully. He felt honored to see a god like you, fall asleep and be peaceful. He wanted to kill those that made you sad, made you cry like this. His mind was plotting as the screen dimmed. He muttered to himself, not wanting the others around to notice he was there.
“I will do anything to those that make you cry, wire their brains to worship you like the god you are.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ARLECCHINO
You were so excited to finally see Arlecchino after the trailers and leaks from the community. But you felt so upset during the quest, you couldn’t handle not crying. As you were listening to her dialogue, you were sobbing. Arlecchino’s ears perked up as she heard your sad sobs. It shocked her that you, the all seeing being, could be this vulnerable.
She became more concerned the longer you stayed on her dialogue screen. She had just met you, but she had heard of you through word of mouth, since you were a popular deity that was worshiped all over Teyvat. But seeing you like this for the first time was new. You had trusted her enough, after one interaction, to cry in front of her. Then your soft sad voice spoke up and she was stunned.
“I wish you were with me.”
Her eyes widened when she heard your soft and sad voice say that. She wanted you with her, too, to be worshiped like the god you are. She had always fantasized of all the children of the House of the Hearth meeting you, as they all admired you. She set up a room for you, and she wanted you there more than ever. But there was this rage that someone did this to you, made you this sad.
She sighed as it seemed she would be stuck in this dialogue for a little bit as you fell asleep. She was content, though, seeing you now calm from your previous crying fit. She broke out of her pose to bring her hand to her chin, as she thought to herself. Her gaze was soft as she stared at your sleeping face. She broke the code once more as she spoke off the script.
“I wish I were with you, to wipe away your tears. Once you come here, you will be worshiped by all in the House of the Hearth.”

La Signora headcannons
Mainly fluff and a bit of angst if you squint proceed
GN reader
Also if anyone wanna request I'll take those
Song reccomendation because it fits her Pierrot Play - No.D
Tumblr media
Rosalyne is a person of elegance and a sophisticated flair - which is why she would heavily indulge into buying dresses or suits depending on her lover's taste and have them dressed in the finest clothes of Teyvat - all she asks in return is undying love and loyalty to her
After Rostams death I don't think she would've ever thought of ever getting a relationship again - worse after she became the Crimson witch - under her confident facade there is a part of her that questions how could anyone find something that they could like - even love - in her . So sometimes she might get clingy without any explanation because she thinks you're going to realize how awful she actually is (or rather how she actually sees herself) and ultimately decide to leave her
Usually if she's clingy she will come to hug you from behind - she usually has her hands really cold due to her crimson witch powers being greatly dimished - so if you feel cold hands resting on your stomach and a head on your shoulder you will know who it is - she will probably use this tactic to make you jump a bit if the two of you are in Shezhnaya and the bonfire is making the room hot enough
She likes to do things for you but you doing things for her? Absolutely not - though is that a blush when you want to do something heartfelt for her? - she'll cherish anything you do for her no matter whatever it is and she will pay you back tenfold (saying no will not do it this woman is STUBBORN)
If the two of you are cuddling she will be hugging you at all times - is like a cat - you can't escape her grip no matter what and archons forbid you move to get some water in the middle of the night - in the next 3 seconds she's behind you, cold arms slithering around you and a sleepy Rosalyne telling you to come back to bed and if you refuse she's dragging you herself
Whenever she's exhausted she will want to put her head in your lap to sleep -especially if you have squishy thighs she will adore to just use them as a pillow and you running your fingers through her hair while she falls asleep (you will be stuck there until she wakes up)
She will definitely want to have fatuis guarding you if you are a civilian but if you can defend yourself she will be worried of you dying in a mission or while fighting (Rostam trauma) so whenever the two of you are on separate missions she will want to keep in touch with you
She would want to keep your relationship secret for a very long time due to the fact that she wouldn't really want people to know about it - mostly due to her fear of you being targeted and killed in some way - she is after all a Harbringer and a lot of people would give their soul to the devil himself to have one to maneuver like a puppet so she definitely takes that into consideration (especially if you can't fight or have any difficulty with doing so)
If the two of you are alone she will definitely want to just kiss you all over your face just so she can see the lipstick marks on your face and she will just smile while smothering your face with kisses (also as a thank you for loving her and anything you do for her)
She really loves to read books in her free time and if you want she will even read to you especially if the speed at which the two of you read is different - maybe you'll even fall asleep listening to her voice and she definitely likes to hum whenever she's trying to fall asleep so you also have that
She will do your makeup if you ask her nicely - she won't mind it at all but actually absolutely adore doing so - the two of you just spending time together in silence is something that she will love to do and cherish as her schedule is mainly filled with work (will bring you gifts from her far away trips even if the main goal there was a gnosis rather than slacking off)
Perfume and jewellery are definitely her things so if you ever have any problems with that just come to her and she will help you find the best accesory for your outfit or perfume for a change of pace (if you have a favourite perfume she will even associate that one with you after a while and it will mostly turn into ''its you'' whenever she feels the smell of it - its like a memento you're actually there with her)
Anyway goodbye for now ❤❤

#: // a tragic ending in Shezhnaya pairing: La Signora x gn!reader cw: mentions of death, mentions of kissing type: angst A/N: im still upset that she had to died LIKE SHE WAS JUST 😭here is a blurb anyways
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
La Signora. The name echoed in your mind as your body shook with grief. It was as if the world around you had stopped spinning, and all you could hear was your own heavy breathing. Tears stung your eyes as you huddled in a dark corner, clutching a picture of the two of you together in happier days. The memories of your days together flooded your mind, from the first time you met in Snezhnaya, to the countless adventures you went on together. Your heart ached with the thought that you would never see her again, never be able to hold her, never be able to feel her lips on yours. As you tried to make sense of the tragedy that had befallen you, you couldn't help but feel angry. Angry at the Tsaritsa for ordering such a despicable act, angry at the Fatui for allowing it to happen, and most of all, angry at yourself for not being able to save her. Your grief turned to rage as you thought of the Raiden Shogun, who had taken the love of your life away from you without a single shred of remorse. You wanted nothing more than to make her pay for her actions, to make her feel what you were feeling in this very moment..

The Tsaritsas and the Harbingers obsession
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
note -> These HCs are based off of the Pulcinella grandchild AU by @hunnieknight ! (I didnt include Signora cause she is 💀)
paring -> Yandere! Tsaritsa X gn! reader, Yandere! fem! harbingers X gn! reader
warnings -> yandere themed, blood, kidnapping.
content includes -> yandere! characters, obsessive! characters
Tumblr media
The Tsaritsa
The first time the Tsaritsas had met you, she knew she was obsessed with you, she found you absolutely adorable
At first her obsession was only platonic, she adored you like a mother would adore a child, but as you grew and reached adulthood, so did her obsession
The Tsaritsas would often tell your grandfather to leave you with her, and while he didnt want to at first he eventually agreed
She would often spend time with you in her garden, the only place where the flowers bloomed, she made sure you knew that your only home is where she is, that that is where you belong, with her
The Tsaritsas wants you to be hers and only hers, but she doesnt mind sharing you with a few of her harbingers
Arlecchino
Arlecchino never had a good relationship with your grandfather, that was one of the reasons why she was suprised that you were his grandchild
Her obsession began when she met you during one of the meetings when your grandfather brought you with him, she knew she had to have you
While she knew that the Tsaritsa already had a unspoken claim on you, that didnt mean she could only have you to herself
Arlecchino would often bring you to the House of the Hearth, and while she May "love" you, she is no afraid of punishing you until you behave
Arlecchino agreed to share you with the Tsaritsa and the other harbingers, tasked to make sure you never escape their grasp
Columbina
Columbinas obsession started the first time she saw you, she found you absolutely adorable and she wants to make you hers
She knew the Tsaritsa and the others already had an obsession with you too, so all of them agreed to share you, which she was pleased with
Columbina would often sing to you to calm you down, especially after every punishment you were given for trying to escape your lovers
She, alongside Sandrone, would dress you in cute outfits and show you off as their precious doll
Columbina would make sure your grandfather doesnt mingle in your affairs, you now belong to the Tsaritsa and the other harbingers
Sandrone
Sandrone is not sure when her obsession started, but she knows she will make you hers, she doesnt care about the Tsaritsas claim on you, you are her perfect doll
She would dress you up and make you into the perfect doll for her and the others, she will make sure you are an obedient little doll just for them~
Sandrone often has one of her robots with you for protection, and to make sure you never escape them
She is the harshest when it comes to punishing you, thats why you always make sure you are obedient for her, because you know she will hurt you
Your poor grandfather has to deal with the fact that he will never see his precious grandchild again, but they could care less about him

THE HEIR TO THE TSARITSA | Fatui Ladies
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRING: Arlecchino, Columbina, Sandrone, & Signora x GN!Reader
WARNINGS: Fluff, SFW, Smut, NSFW, Dom!Reader, Sub!Character, Punishment (Signora & Columbina), Bondage (Signora & Arlecchino), Vibrator Use (Signora), Squirting (Signora), Voyeurism (Signora), Muzzle Use (Arlecchino), Collaring & Leashing (Arlecchino), Impact Play (Columbina), Spanking (Columbina), Blindfolds (Columbina), Creaming (Columbina & Sandrone), Somnophilia (Sandrone), Fingering (Sandrone), & Grinding (Sandrone)
AUTHORS NOTE: This has been in development for awhile now, but I'm finally pausing and taking time to write it. Decided to cut the Tsaritsa out, though I'll add her in a later thing if I decide to continue this.
Tumblr media
✧ LA SIGNORA
↳ SFW
• La Signora was your first official concubine when you were announced as the Tsaritsa's heir; the one who'd take over as the next Cryo Archon.
• She had offered herself to you as, how she put it, a welcoming gift for the next darling Cryo Archon, and you weren't one to refuse such a reverential gift.
• Serving as a Snezhnayan diplomat, offering herself as your concubine was simply a tactful and courteous gesture for her own benefit, because if she were to already be creating a close relationship with you, then that gave her a higher chance to earn herself a high title
• Though that was only at first, as over time her original intentions began to shift, and she wasn't continuing to be your concubine for her own benefit.
• Instead, she continued to do it as to fulfill your own gratification, whether that be physically, mentally or emotionally.
• As your first concubine, it was no shock that Signora would hold a confidence as to being your favorite, and was prone to bragging to the other woman of the fact.
• There were plenty of situations where you had to interfere in between an argument between her and another concubine because of Signora's bragging.
↳ NSFW
• Usually with your interference it was only natural that you'd have to punish Signora for her disobedience of fighting with another concubine.
• These punishments with her would usually lead to her being stripped naked and layed onto your bed, her hands raised above her head and bound to the bed frame.
• With her in such a vulnerable position, Signora would often beg and plead for you to have mercy, that she was sorry for fighting and wouldn't dare do it again.
• But these were only lies, as dear La Signora never stopped her fighting, because she enjoyed being bound and merciless to your touch and punishments.
• Her favorite punishment? Being forced to have to watch you pleasure yourself while a vibrator is stuffed up her cunt, buzzing at the lowest setting.
• The Fair Lady having to suffer through with watching you pleasure yourself while having zero stimulation on herself was torture, but a blissful torture because she was gifted with the pretty sight of you.
• Then when you reach your peak, it's heavenly pleasure for Signora when you finally turn the vibrator to the highest setting and stimulate her clit while it buzzes, because she'll be squirting repeatedly in seconds.
✧ ARLECCHINO
↳ SFW
• Arlecchino, the Knave, a woman of authority and equal grace, a woman many would be shocked to hear had become your second concubine.
• The main reason as to why? Unknowing to you, as the woman has sworn to keep that information to herself, and you've learned not to pry.
• When she joins your harem, Arlecchino basically becomes your bodyguard. She'll glare at anyone who gives you the slightest glance, including her fellow harbingers and concubines.
• She won't tolerate any sort of disrespect targeted towards you, and she won't ever hesitate to rid of anything- or anyone, that dares pose a threat or minor inconvenience for you.
• Despite being a coldhearted woman, Arlecchino is actually surprisingly warm with you when in private, especially after being your concubine for a few months.
• She loves to just lay in your bed with you, having you wrapped up securely in her arms, her blackened hands combing through your hair or drawing soothing circles on your back.
• She especially loves it when you'll sit on her lap when either of you are doing work, resting her head on your shoulder and having one arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you increasingly closer to her.
↳ NSFW
• Now, while Arlecchino has a dominant and authoritative persona in public, when you have her behind closed doors and in the comfort of either of your rooms, she's completely submissive.
• She turns from a scary wolf to an obedient dog, especially when you end up strapping a muzzle onto her.
• She can deny all she wants that she doesn't like being treated like a dog, but the way her eyes fill with lust and how she squeezes her thighs together at the sight of the muzzle, or having a collar around her neck and a leash strapped onto it.
• Her favorite position, even though she won't admit it, is being chained or tied up to something, whether it be the bedframe, to a chair or the wall, with either little or to no clothes on.
• Tugging her forward by the leash and hearing her growl is entertaining for you, because her in this vulnerable position is a rare treat, a treat only for you.
• Playing with her pretty cunt and muttering how much of a good girl she is for you has her whimpering.
• You can't help but think of how lucky you are to have the ever intimidating Knave being a submissive and obedient dog for you, and only you.
✧ COLUMBINA
↳ SFW
• Columbina... to simply put, if you were going to have Arlecchino as one of your concubines, then it was a guarantee that the Damselette was going to become one as well.
• She had approached you with the request to become one when you had come to see one of her shows at the opera; she had been singing a song that night.
• You certainly couldn't refuse the beautiful woman, especially not after hearing her amazing voice, so you of course accepted.
• Columbina will do whatever it takes to keep you entertained. She'll hum to you, sing a song and keep you company. Sometimes she'll even give you a massage if you seem particularly stressed.
• She's the one that's the most doting to you, always by your side and offering to help, giving you a sly smile that you quickly grow to love.
• If neither of you have important matters to attend to, then Columbina will happily drag you out to the opera, so you both can enjoy a performance.
• Another thing she'll do is take you out on midnight strolls, as it gives you both a quiet time together to enjoy the other's company.
↳ NSFW
• Now, Columbina is a wicked woman who enjoy inflicting terror and pain on others, but with you? Oh the Damselette likes to have that inflicted on her, but only by your hands.
• Putting on a blindfold over her eyes and cutting off her sight gets her extremely excited, because the unknown of what you'll do to her in bed is a thrill.
• She enjoys feeling you drag your hands across her body, ghosting your touch over the place she needs you most.
• Then, without warning, whip her harshly across her thighs or stomach, it gets her creaming in her underwear to have you inflicting pain on one of the most fear striking Harbingers.
• Being at your mercy and having you ruin her with striking her with a whip or paddle or anything is a fantasy she didn't realize she had till those moments.
• Also spank her, especially if she's been irritatingly teasing to you as a punishment; even if it is a punishment she enjoys.
• Just make sure to turn the 3rd Harbinger into nothing but your masochistic toy.
✧ SANDRONE
↳ SFW
• Sandrone is interesting... she's quiet, she doesn't participate much in Harbinger affairs, even more so than Arlecchino. The stuff she does and participates in is for her own gratification and gain.
• So when she became one of your concubines, your fourth to be exact, it was safe to assume that she had an ulterior motive. Though that motive wasn't exactly what you'd expect.
• Sandrone wanted to be a concubine simply for more of a chance to spend time with you. She had been obsessed with you for quite some time, specifically with your looks, as she found you to be a perfect doll.
• Usually when she found a new doll for herself, she'd take them without a care or second glance, but you were the Tsaritsa's heir, so she couldn't possibly go along with her usual routine.
• Sandrone loved to dress you up. She was always there to help you pick an outfit for the day, whether it be casual or grand, depending on the event.
• Another thing she enjoyed to do with you was have lunch. She enjoyed having you at her workshop, enjoying tea and pastries, listening to whatever it is you wanted to speak about.
• The Marionette wasn't a talkative woman, but she was a great listener. So you'd usually go to her when you just needed to vent about what was troubling you.
↳ NSFW
• Out of all your concubines, Sandrone was the most needy. She always wanted to have you with her, specifically have your fingers stuffed into her cunt.
• Because of this neediness, she was prone to sneaking into your personal quarters in the middle of the night, crawling into your bed and using you for her personal needs.
• She wasn't afraid to use your own fingers to fuck herself with or grind herself against your thigh while you slept.
• You never complained about this, because you cared deeply for the Marionette and wanted to help her through all of her needs, but sometimes you were just to exhausted, so you told her to use your body however she pleased while you slept.
• There was numerous occasions where you'd wake up to her creaming against your thigh or on your fingers.
• It was always a heavenly sight to see a disheveled Sandrone using you, small cries and whines slipping past her lips.
• You would always move to lay her down on the bed if you woke up, intent to relieve her of her needs however long she wanted. It was only fair that you would for her becoming your concubine.

ENDING NOTE: Feel free to add your own thoughts to this by sending an ask, or even expanding on it. Especially if you have thoughts for the Tsaritsa, would love to have her added.

Could you do some milf characters Putting Male Reader (or GN/GP Reader if you want) in the Amazon Position if you don't know what that is basically missionary but in reverse with the woman on top man on his back
This got me blushing so hard I'm not lying sdifbewofibew
Also, pls feel free to ask for male reader in fics! I have no problems at all in writing specifically male reader so you don't have to play it safe by saying I can do gn or g!p instead, I usually make it gn if I don't mention reader by pronouns or gendered terms in the whole fic 😊
18+ CONTENT
Games: Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail
Characters: Ningguang, Lisa, La Signora, Jade, Himeko, Kafka x male!reader
Type: Pretty much pure smut
Ningguang doesn't do it often but she personally loves the position, she loves to assert dominance over you especially when you look so adorable squirming under her. It usually happens when she's extra stressed and even annoyed after some work, the kind of mood where she just wants to flip tables. So, instead she flips your legs up and rides your cock while cursing obscenities. She bounces so fiercely, her ass slaps against your thighs and she milks you dry until she's satisfied. And don't worry, she has the best aftercare and also lets you top her later <3
Lisa loves doing it out of sheer sadistic pleasure, it's just one of the many ways for her to torture you and milk your cock. It started off as a mere experiment, she's heard so much about the position and has had fantasies of doing it but never found the suitable man- until you, of course. You are always so adorable with how you try to please her before your own pleasure, she can't help but pin you down one day and ask to try the position. Though, she's already raring to go before you even reply. The sight of her this way is irresistible, how could you say no?~
Signora looks like the person to dom you thoroughly given her Harbinger status and authority, but she becomes soft when in love. However, she has a feisty side during sex. She loves to top most of the time even if on receiving end, putting you in amazon position is a way of punishment. She loves doing master-servant kind of roleplay, flaunting her Habringer authority on you even in sex. When you disobey her, that's when she's holding your legs up and slamming down on your cock like her life depends on it. Her signature smirk adorns her face as she stares you down, enjoying your sounds and expressions~
Jade does it quite a lot during sex, it's actually one of her favorite positions. Your hands are tied to the bedposts everytime, absolutely rendering you unable to escape. The occassion doesn't matter to her, she can do it anytime they feels. She could be feeling joyous, irritated, aroused- anything, and she'd be putting you in this position. Her whip will be wrapped around your neck during this and she'll tug it synchronised with her thrusts. Will call you 'good boy' and other praises a lot, slamming down and moaning how well you are doing~
Himeko seems too sweet for a debauched position like this, and yes she does personally like all the vanilla positions most but she secretly has a very kinky side. Himeko likes experimenting in sex and she will especially do your requests, it would be you who brings up the idea of this position and while she'd be surprised, she is also internally excited. After doing it the first time, it secretly becomes one of her favorite positions. She can't help it! She loved the way you looked beneath her, so cute with your sounds and expressions! It's better than cowgirl since you are absolutely helpless in this and it's fully in her control to do whatever. She keeps it for special occassions~
Kafka will also tie your hands to the bedposts with her strings. For her it's a way of showing you belong to each other. She loves doing it for all the kinky reasons for sure, but she also likes asserting her possessiveness over you through this. You will also be blindfolded during this, only thing on your mind is the way she pounds down and rides you intensely. She won't let you cum inside the first time, she wants you to shoot it outside and stain everywhere including her body. Will look at you with a lustful look before licking her lips and taking you in again, this time she'll have it all inside~

Hi I was wondering if you could do a polar bear 🐻‍❄️ anon? Like reader could be just chilling in shnezyha with the Fatui and come and go as they please, but they’re enjoying being a polar bear and just snooze anywhere and everywhere, eating a fish on the floor? No, let’s eat right next to Singora’s coffin R.I.P. if not that’s ok, thx for reading!!!!
Harbingers Encounter

૮꒰˶ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ˶꒱ა Pairings : GN! Polar Bear Reader x Harbingers
૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა W.K. : 447
໒꒰ྀིᵔ ᵕ ᵔ ꒱ྀི১ Tags/CW&TW : Fluff, there is a penguin corpse tho
Tumblr media
No one really knew what to do.
They all stared at the random ass polar bear that wondered into the room, in the middle of Signora’s funeral.
It was honestly baffling, and all Pierro could think about was how a few Fatui were going to get…. Let’s say fired, later.
“… What do we do..?” Childe questioned. He was - ironically- the closest to the bear and even he didn’t really feel like fighting it. As much as he and Signora “totally got along”, it would still feel mildly disrespectful to start going at it with a bear in the middle of her literal funeral.
“… I wish to take it back to my labs.” Dottore suddenly suggested, and immediately Pantalone was on his ass about it.
“Why? Whatever could you need a polar bear for?? It’s a waist if you ask me..” His disappointment was clear as day, despite the sterna smile etched into his face.
“Perhaps I could enhance its strength? Create a brand new type of creature to protect us.~” Dottore mused, his grin widening.
All conversation was halted however when a giggle rang out. Heads turned to see you gently playing with Columbina.
Your paws firmly planted on the ground as you nuzzled a blood-soaked-face into hers as you nipped at her ears.
She then took out a very dead penguin from under her coat and threw it at you, you catching it in your mouth and bending down to chow down.
You looked up after ripping a wing off the bird, offering it to her.
“Oh no, I’m alright for now my dear. Oh! But do save the large intestines. I may get hungry later, hehe!~”
Everyone stared at her as she conversed with you, a simple nod showing you understood before going back to ravaging and defiling the corpse beneath you.
“… What?” She asked now that all eyes were on her.
“… I suppose none of us were expecting you to have such an animal as a… pet..?” Capitano said, only to receive a giggle from the shorter girl.
“Oh they are no pet, simply a friend I made during a walk once.” She answered.
You lifted your head and nodded.
“Well did they have to attend?” Pierro asked, annoyance in his tone.
“Ah, I have no control ever where they go, though they have shown to have a respect for all of us.~” Giggles escaped her lips as she spoke, finding the faces of her fellow Harbingers amusing.
Pierro only sighed before continuing to speak. The funeral now continued without a hitch, even as you ate behind Columbina.
… Would the Tsaritsa ever consider making an animal a Harbinger…?

Them harbingers (yes include elf man— I dont see much of him— and the unplayable and playable harbingers) with a gn! Reader thats chubby, and an A B S O LU T E gremlin. But its ok to them since you're the sweetest creature in their eyes. That. Is. True.
Like one time you asked them what that smell is *ehem* blood and they were going batshit crazy at how much of an innocent little bean reader truely is. Thats totally not one of the infinite reason as too why they wanna protect reader- nope!
(Reader is like, idk— 9-14 years old—)
OMG THATS SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!! I plan on writing elf man this month!
You're Request has been made ( ̄ε ̄@)
CHUBBY/GREMLIN GN! CHILD READER & PLATONIC FATUI HARBINGERS
Tumblr media
♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤
One day while the Fatui harbingers had a meeting the Tsaritsa came personally to tell them something
Imagine their suprise when they saw a chubby kid
"This is GN!Reader, my child, i have gathered you here to discuss something you will have to do."-Tsaritsa
"My grace, you have a... child?"-Pierro
"HELLO! IM GN!READER YOU ALL LOOK SO PRETTY(≧▽≦)/" -you
The first meeting was a bit chaotic?
Well... you did rip the coat from childe😬
..you did also kind of steal some mora from Pantalone
Lets not talk about how you broke Scaramouche's arm- (Puppet arm?)
Anyways, the meeting was about having to take care of you for some months
Imagine their own suprise when you began wormimg yourself into the hearts of them 💀
The first one to fall was obviously Childe, you were just so cute! Look at those cheeks
The last one to fall was Scaramouche, he was petty because you broke of his arm, he began to like you after he realized that you were so innocent
The meetings became something all of them looked foward to because they could see you
Everyone in the Fatui knew you as a destructive kid, i mean you did kind of blow up one of the archons statues
"Mr.Pulcinella the child you've been taking care of has blown up our base where we reside."-Fatui Agent
" Aw! Gn!Reader probably thought you were gonna hurt us, such a sweet child, i have to tell the other Harbingers about how sweet you are ( ◡‿◡ *)" -Pulcinella
When you first met them you were quite chubby
You're now chubbier because the Harbingers always give you food
You need healthy food? Pierro,Dottore and Arlecchino got you!
Oh you want something sweet? Childe, Pulcinella got you!
You want money? Pantalone will give you a castle if you just ask!
Who needs real people who serve you? You have your own roboters from Sandrone!
Capitano is your protector, why would you need to fight if he's there?
Childe would take you around the World, Liyue? Sure, lets go! He will buy you toys and make you weapons if you want any!
Columbina sings you to sleep every night, she wants you to sleep peacefully
They all think you're the most innocent bean they've ever met, that's why they will always protect you!
"Mister Childe? Why are you covered in Ketchup? Did you play with your food?(・・ ) ?" -You
" *Every Harbinger stares at him* (ᓀ ᓀ)"
"UH YEA I ALWAYS PLAY WITH MY FOOD! ITS quite nice....?" -Childe
" oh! I see, but you have to wash up now!<( ̄︶ ̄)>" -you
Months later Tsaritsa came back to take you, they were all sad but the Tsaritsa told them that they would see you more because you now live with them in the castle!
Scaramouche has made you your own hat because you like his a lot (You still don't know it was him who gave it to you)
They all get cute agression from you so half the time they will either be hugging you or squeezing your cheeks
Signora has 100% told you about her backstory and sees you as her own child, she knows that you're the kid of Tsaritsa, but she can't help it. You're just so nice and sweet. You remind her of her Lover years ago
Summary: They all see you as a child that needs to be protected, you may already be over 8 years old but you're still so innocent. You're not corrupted from the people of this disgusting World. They all love you a lot, you can ask them anything and they shall give it to you.

no rest for the wicked (nor the foolish)
part six: in which you wrangle out information about the doctor's segments, discover a library and obtain the favour of its obscenely wealthy resident
Tumblr media
a harbingers x gn reader series!! (includes dottore, childe, arlecchino and pantalone x reader. the rest of the harbingers will most likely not be romantic interests)
notes: is the burn even burning. slow burn, gn neutral reader who is occasionally referred to as 'miss', smart-ass reader with just a sprinkle of social anxiety and a healthy dose of skepticism
warnings: blood and organs. are we even surprised at this point
series masterlist
as always, let me know if you find any pronoun slips!! oh, and friendly reminder that reblogs help circulate my work much better than likes <3
word count: 4628 words
*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚**  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚*  ੈ✩‧₊˚**  ੈ✩‧₊˚*
“They are not clones,” he replied dismissively. “Have you nothing to say to explain yourself?”
“In that case, how precisely do you define them?” You prodded, all anxiety at your lateness forgotten in the face of this engrossing new mystery. “I’m assuming you created them. How, if not by cloning?”
The Doctor crossed his arms and stared you down. You gazed back up at him, resolute and unmoving in your curiosity. You looked different today, he noted; you apparently still hadn’t found your cloak judging from the fact you were wearing Childe’s, damn him,and the shadows under your eyes were more pronounced than usual. He frowned behind his mask. Had you not gotten enough sleep? Perhaps he shouldn’t have kept you in the lab so late; after all, sleep deprivation would make you more prone to committing foolish blunders in the vicinity of his precious experiments. He couldn’t have that.
“My segments are none of your concern,” he said with an air of finality.
“Doctor, as your apprentice, am I not entitled to having any questions outside my realm of expertise answered by you?”
Oh, you devious thing.
With a dismissive wave of his gloved hand, the Doctor swept past you towards the reflux apparatus he set up the night before.
“Provide an acceptable excuse for your tardiness, and perhaps then I’ll be more accommodating.”
You huffed and rolled your eyes, unsurprised by his persistent give-and-take mentality, and made your way to your array of petri dishes. Under different conditions, the fungi growing within them developed a multitude of characteristics; under direct sunlight, tendrils of green plantlife snaked through the mycelium, when submerged in water the fungi formed tiny yet distinctive fins, and many other such phenomena.
“I had an encounter with Lady Eight and Lord Eleven after the lab session.”
“One that lasted well past midnight?” He asked, stealing glances at you as he set up the next step of his current experiment.
“Yes,” you confirmed with a disdainful roll of your eyes. “Hence my lack of punctuality. I had to entertain guests.”
Outrage flared in Dottore’s chest. How dare they intrude upon you at such an inopportune time? Of course, he conveniently dismissed the fact that he was the one who kept you so late in the first place; as far as he was concerned, he was entitled to your company. You were his apprentice, after all.
“Understandable enough,” he conceded.
You shot him a look. “Well? Your… segments? What are they, precisely?”
He muttered something unintelligible before responding.  “Iterations of myself at various ages.”
“I counted seven of them. Are there any more? What purpose does their existence serve? How did you create them?”
“You’re terribly inquisitive today, dear student,” he drawled, holding a test tube to the light and swirling the contents. You frowned. Did he intend to leave your questions unanswered? You really were awfully curious. “Count yourself lucky that I’m in fine spirits today.”
Visibly brightening, you rested your chin in your hands and your elbows on the workbench as you waited for him to go on. You never did seem to notice that he was always in a good mood whenever it came to you and your ceaseless inquiries.
“You counted correctly, there are indeed only seven of them,” he began, preparing a solution for the day’s work with the various test tubes in front of him. “I created them using techniques similar to those utilised in ancient ruin guards, but imbedded with my consciousness and the ideals I held at different phases of my life. This allows me to approach any problem from multiple perspectives, and prevents me from becoming restricted to familiar cognitive patterns.”
You hummed thoughtfully, brow furrowed as you mulled over his answer.
“But how did you ensure that the segment’s outlooks are exactly the same as the ones you used to have? Does your current personality not create some sort of bias and alter the way in which you view your… past self?”
The Doctor nodded his approval; you were asking the right questions.
“I am not heralded as a genius for nothing,” came his amused reply.
“That is a wholly unsatisfactory answer,” you grumbled, but let it slide. “Why haven’t I seen them before now?”
He elected to ignore that.

You managed to wriggle out of the Doctor’s snide remarks that you were getting lazy and make your way to the dining hall on time, for once. A restock was absolutely necessary; you’d run out of food in your dorm, and considering the sizeable journey you had to make to reach the dining hall it was a much easier endeavour to just hoard quick meals like an animal going into hibernation. Besides, you didn’t want to leave Arlie waiting, either. While you still didn’t know what kind of power she held, nor to what extent it would affect you, you were far from excited to have her demonstrate that power if you somehow managed to displease her. Even the Doctor, Childe and Signora appeared more manageable; at the very least, you knew exactly how they could make your life miserable if they wished, while Arlie was shrouded in mystery save for her dizzying, razor-sharp grace. Her special brand of courtesy felt like it would leave you scarred and bleeding out if you didn’t watch your step; a knife’s edge you had to dance around and an irresistible enigma for someone as relentlessly inquisitive as you.
After loading up a plate and sliding one of the chefs a tidy stack of mora to have packaged meals sent to your dorm, you slid into the seat across from Arlie at the table by the window you were somehow consistently lucky enough to snag (luck had nothing to do with it, really. She made damn sure no one else would sit there). Clearly she’d arrived some time ago, judging from the empty pot of coffee in front of her, and she offered you a nod of acknowledgment as you sat down. After your first meeting, she’d abandoned the purple robes that had were meant to serve the purpose of disguising her as an electro cicin mage, and now whenever you saw her she donned sleek, finely-tailored suits. You couldn’t say they didn’t look marvellous on her.

“I was expecting to see you at dinner, not this early.”
“The doctor was an in amicable mood,” you replied, buttering your roll and slathering on a layer of too-sweet jam. Mona had perfected both the art of astrology and jams; you missed her and the flawlessly balanced confections she’d make during the rare instances she had the mora to spare.
“Why are you staring at that bread roll as though it made you an orphan before your very eyes?” Arlie’s silky voice took on a bemused edge, snapping you out of your reverie. You were more than a little surprised by her question; you liked to think of yourself as somewhat difficult to read. Perhaps you were, but nothing escaped her searching gaze.
“I was just ruminating over my research.” It no longer unsettled you how smoothly the lie flowed from your tongue.
Annoyance spiked in her chest. Inconceivable, that you would entertain any thoughts that didn’t involve her. You smiled slightly. “And your ever-cryptic identity.”
She shook her head, laughing quietly. The previous frustration quickly dissipated. “Cheeky, aren’t you?”
“Tastefully curious,” you corrected with a laugh of your own.
“It’s hardly as if you’re the most comprehensible of people, either.”
You grinned. “I’m inclined to disagree, Arlie. Why, I’m an open book!”
“I’m having trouble translating your pages, then.”
“Linguistics isn’t your area of expertise, I take it?” You teased, lifting your fork to your lips. Casual conversation with Arlie felt less like balancing on a tightrope over a clearing swarming with tigers  and more like finding that one of the tigers was actually quite civil and pleasant company, if you overlooked the teeth and claws and minded your manners.
“I’ll gladly learn if it means understanding you better.” Her silver-tongued reply and suave smile had you blushing and taking a moment to collect yourself.
“And you have the unprecedented confidence to call me cheeky,” you quipped.
Savouring the lapse in your composure, she replied bracingly. “Being timid doesn’t get you anywhere. Listen. Request forms will be issued later today. Make sure to submit yours before midnight.”
You hummed thoughtfully. “Ah, I see. To restock any necessities we might have exhausted, yes?”
“Precisely.”
Fantastic. You needed a new turtleneck sweater after the eventful dissection with the Doctor left if bloodstained beyond repair.
“I assume the Regrator is the one responsible for overseeing such matters?”
She frowned behind her mask. Just what did he have to do with anything? Why would you bring him into the conversation? Or anyone, for that matter? “Yes, that’s right.”
You shot her a puzzled glance at the sudden frigidity in her voice. Maybe she held a grudge against him, you reasoned; it was entirely possible that she was one of his higher-ranking subordinates. Or maybe she was a Harbinger who held contempt for one of her colleagues.
“The palace truly is a self-sustaining community,” you remarked. “Do soldiers and recruits ever leave for anything besides missions?”
“No. Snezhnaya is far from a forgiving place, and there’s safety to be had between these walls.”
So the Fatui were effectively isolated from the rest of Snezhnayan society, then. You vaguely remembered from an introductory politics lecture that such physical separation between civilians and the ruling body could easily cause unrest and eventually conflict, tearing the nation apart. Oh, well. Hopefully your diploma would be complete long before that happened.

With food in your stomach and the usual vague wonderings about Arlie in your head, you returned to the lab.
“Oh, good,” Dottore remarked without looking up from organ modification he was performing. He insisted that it was enhancement, optimisation, and you firmly maintained that it was nothing but needless meddling. “You’ve finally returned. Come here and help me locate the damned tricuspid valve.”
“Surely you’re not so old that your eyesight is failing, doctor?” You asked, removing your leather gloves in favour of the horrible yellow plasticky pair. With a contemplative hum, you leaned over the countertop to survey the bleeding heart (ha, ha) more closely. Remarkable, really, how precise the Doctor’s incisions were; even you had to swallow your pride and admit that he truly was the best of the best, the epitome of perfection so highly sought after by any academic. Noting the blood dripping onto the floor, you winced. Perfection tampered by a thorough indifference to anything that wasn’t his research would be a more accurate description. You batted away his hands and took the scalpel the two of you were always fighting over, making a clean cut through the right atrium and gently peeling away the torn muscle until you could see the flimsy tissue you were looking for.
“There’s your valve,” you said, handing him back the scalpel with no small measure of reluctance. The rules dictated that he’d get to use it for the rest of the day since he got it first, after all.
He ran his bloodied thumb along the edge of his mask before going back to poking delicately at the tissue. You grimaced, watching the white leather of his mask stain crimson where he touched it.
“Flawless,” he murmured.
“Yes, quite,” you agreed, surveying the heart over his shoulder. It had clearly been removed by someone exceptionally skilled, every slice through the tender flesh perfectly made.
Ironically, Dottore was referring to your work. And you, in general.

You left the lab tired but satisfied. The day’s experiment had involved lifting several heavy mechanical components; ruin guard’s remains, to be precise. To your eternal chagrin the Doctor hadn’t struggled in the slightest, although you knew for a fact his sleep schedule was deplorable and he so rarely ate anything at all; in fact, you’d made a habit of discreetly leaving plates of food around the lab for him. A dish of vegetable stir fry you’d made in a sleep-deprived haze when your stomach rumbled loud enough to wake you and most likely every one of the castle’s inhabitants, a bowl of fruit, an exquisite chocolate mousse Anya had whipped up for you, and other such snacks scattered throughout the lab far away from any dangerous chemicals. Not that you’d admit to bringing them for him, much like how he’d deny having eaten any. What a strange, prideful pair the two of you made.
Your (well. Childe’s) coat snagged on something as you walked back to the dorm, yanking you back and forcing an obscene curse from your mouth. You crouched to inspect the source, and to your surprise found it to be the edge of a door that was left cracked. It would’ve been invisible if it were closed, and hooking your fingers into the narrow gap and pulling yielded no results. The door didn’t budge. Intrigued, you knelt fully to inspect the wedge; upon running your fingers up and down the seam you discovered a series of tiny, circular indents in the wood.
“Eureka,” you whispered softly. A similar mechanism could be found in several other places in the palace after careful inspection, and to your amusement they all required the same pattern to unlock. Terrible security. You tapped the indents in the order you’d long since memorised, and allowed a tiny, smug smile to overtake your lips when the door swung dutifully open. You slipped inside. The sheer height of hundreds of rows of bookshelves made itself known, and you let out a tiny ‘oh’ of astonishment. A library. The most beautiful one you’d ever stepped foot in, at that; even the House of Daena with its towering arches and marble couldn’t compare to the soft, weathered charm of this place, all hand-woven rugs and big windows framed by velvet curtains, plush armchairs and an array of tasteful stationery littered across every surface, cream paper and deeply coloured quills and ebony ink. You stood frozen in the doorway, taking it all in. If only you’d discovered this place long ago. A quick inspection of the books on the shelves revealed a myriad of genres and topics, even a few analyses bound in leather of subjects you’d itched to study but couldn’t because they were forbidden by the Akademiya. You glanced furtively around. Silent as the grave. Before you could lose your nerve, you quickly began pulling tomes from the shelves and stowing them in your leather satchel; surely no one would complain if you borrowed a few until the next time you could visit this miraculous place. Looking back, you were appalled by your own bravado.
“Oh? And what have we here?”
You froze, a book on the intricacies of destroying Visions halfway in your satchel. Oh, curses.
“Nothing but a curious student, sir,” you replied as smoothly as you could, turning to face the owner of the voice: a well-groomed man dressed entirely in black, from his raven hair to the shimmering jewels studded on the high collar of his shirt. Nauseatingly wealthy, that much was obvious from the fineness of the fur he wore and what seemed to be a diamond ring on his finger. The part of your brain that wasn’t panicking at being caught wondered if he’d let you test whether it was real or not; a simple and visually pleasing procedure to determine the refractive index was all it would take.
The stranger picked at his gloves, watching you over the rim of a rather excellent pair of glasses (you could tell from the set of the lenses in the frames; seamless as the door you’d unlocked to get into the library.)
“Really, now? A thirst for knowledge is all that drove you here, then?”
You swallowed nervously. Just how would you get yourself out of this predicament?
“The door was ajar, and I couldn’t help but wonder what might be inside.”
He raised his eyebrows.
“And how did you manage to open the door all the way?”
You bit back the smug smile that was threatening to appear. Best to downplay yourself so as not to seem too clever; a man this rich would obviously be powerful too, and nothing good could come of revealing your assets to him.
“I don’t know, sir,” you replied, injecting as much cluelessness into your voice as you could. “I just pulled it open. My apologies for intruding, it wasn’t my intention.”
“That would be believable if I were just a touch more foolish. Unfortunately for you, I’m not convinced by your innocent act.” He smiled. “At all.”
Rich and intelligent. What a bothersome combination.
“I suppose my only defence is that I was unaware this was a private library,” you conceded, re-shelving the tome. The wistful look in your eyes as you did so was quite amusing, he thought.
“And how do you plan on earning my forgiveness?”
“What are my options?” You countered without missing a beat.
Hm. Not bad, he thought approvingly.
“Why not introduce yourself? I’d quite like to know the name of the thief who knows how to break into a library I thought impenetrable.”
You cleared your throat, embarrassed, and fidgeted discreetly with your gloves.
“I wouldn’t call myself a thief, sir. I fully intended on returning these once I had read them,” you protested, then gave him your name. “I’m an apprentice of the Doctor’s.”
Subtle realisation dawned on the man’s face.
“Oh, I see. The infamous ‘Trixy,’ no?”
“That… is indeed the nickname Lord Eleven insists on calling me by.” You were going to kill him, you really were.
He smiled. “I thought Dottore was exaggerating when he referred to you as ‘overly cunning.’ It looks like I was wrong.”
You frowned slightly at the casual use of the Doctor’s name. Archons. Just my luck, being caught nicking books from a Harbinger’s library.
“I am the Regrator.” Reaching towards you, he took hold of your hand and kissed the back of it. “A pleasure to finally meet you.”
“Likewise, sir- my lord,” you replied, flustered by his greeting and your mistake. “Truly an honour. Allow me to once again extend my apologies for imposing myself on your property.”
“Not to worry, one apology was quite enough,” he replied with another smile. How quickly he changed his tune; a moment ago you were quite worried he’d do much worse than throw you out, but now he was all class and geniality. These two-faced Harbingers really would be the death of you, forcing you to switch between subtle defensiveness and gracefully accepting compliments.
“I’ll see myself out,” you said, breaking the impending silence. “Thank you for your hospitality, my lord.”
“No, no. Stay, I insist. In fact…” He took hold of your shoulders and steered you towards the fireplace, nudging you into a chair. “Why not take a seat? If my memory serves, today you’re to receive the requests forms, is that right?”
He grinned, satisfied, when you nodded in confirmation.
“Lovely. Tell me what it is you were going to have brought to the palace, and I’ll ensure its timely delivery.”
Your eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch.
“And what do you gain from providing me this assistance?”
“Your favour,” he replied promptly, so matter-of-fact that you thought you’d misheard. Well. If he was going to take the first shot and be such a flatterer, then you could certainly play along.
“Why, you’ve already gained it by extending your cordiality,” you said, lifting a gloved hand to your mouth to hide the grin threatening to overtake your features.
Regrator laughed, leaning back in his chair and crossing one leg over the other. The flickering glow of the fireplace threw the planes of his face into sharp relief, all razor-sharp angles that could cut through diamond. Unsettled, you took to pulling at the fingertips of your gloves for a moment’s respite from his eerie black gaze, glinting like the surface of a bottomless lake at night. Maybe, just maybe, masks were preferable.
“You’re something of a smooth talker,” he remarked. “Perhaps I’ve met my match.”
“I couldn’t hope to live up to your articulacy, my lord, though I’m flattered.”
“Don’t be so humble. I understand that you’re quite the genius in your own field, no?”
You let out a quiet laugh. “Whatever gave you such an impression?”
“It’s not often Dottore goes larking about others’ intelligence,” he replied with equal amusement, watching the swirling clouds of snow outside the stained glass window. Now that caught you by surprise. Surely the Doctor, legend of the Akademiya and one of the arrogant men you ever had the displeasure of meeting, wouldn’t bestow you with such praise.
“I’m clever enough to get by,” you settled on saying, fingers itching to check your pocket watch. It had to be late, but the Regrator imposed a strange aura that compelled you to follow what little etiquette you knew of. The moment you realised this, however, you made a point of taking your watch out and checking the time. The only nonsensical rules you would allow to influence your behaviour were those that could eventually be explained; the laws of science.
“Terribly humble,” he murmured, repeating his previous statement with a touch more gratification.
“It never pays to be egotistical without good reason,” you concluded, making to get up. “It’s been a pleasure, my lord”-
“Sit, sit,” he said firmly, cutting you off. “You won’t have time to submit the request form now,” he pointed out. ‘You might as well stay and tell me what it is you need so I can take care of it.”
You cursed softly under your breath. He was right, unfortunately, and you really were in dire need of several necessities. Resignedly, you sat back down. The Regrator’s pleased twitch of his lips didn’t escape your notice; clearly he’d planned this out. Sneak.
“Much obliged,” you muttered, not without a healthy amount of resentment you didn’t bother hiding.
“But of course.”
He stared at you expectantly, that maddeningly unbothered half-smile never budging from his lips. You bit back a sigh. Best get this over with.
“Well, for starters, I need at least seventy grams each of qingxin, violetgrass, mourning flowers and lumidouce bells. Oh, and ten grams of sunsettia seeds. Other than that, one kilogram each of copper, crystal marrow and white iron, and as many chaos devices and spectral husks as you can afford.”
“That sounds similar to Dottore’s usual order, yes,” he mused. “But forgive me for asking… why the sunsettia seeds?”
“Sunsettia trees can be coaxed into growing under very harsh conditions, and I happen to quite like the fruit,” you answered with a shrug.
The half-smile widened just a touch.
“I see. Everything else on your list seems to pertain to laboratory work. Are you certain you won’t require any… more personal items?”
“No, that won’t be necessary. Although, the doctor did say you would know why I didn’t receive the standard uniform for Fatui recruits,” you added as an afterthought. He blinked, as if caught by surprise.
“Why, it’s quite simple. You’re not considered a recruit at all.”
You stared unabashedly at him. “What?”
“It’s true,” he continued, toying with the fine silver chain of his glasses. “Your file simply has 'scholar' written as the rank.”
“How ambiguous,” you bit out, dragging a hand down your face. For all their bluster and pomp, you’d decided that the Fatui were a ragtag group of disorderly misfits with no sense of how to run such a large and influential organisation. ‘Rank: Scholar? Seriously? Keqing’s voice in your head pointedly asked if you thought you would me more up to the task of filing accurate records on thousands of people. You mentally grumbled.
“Quite fitting for a mysterious person like you.”
You lifted your head to shoot him an incredulous glance. “Yes, absolutely, my lord,” you muttered sarcastically under your breath. “My every action is so veiled in mystique, I can hardly see a metre in front of me from all the smoke and mirrors.”
The Regrator chuckled quietly.
“Clearly you understand that brevity is the soul of wit.”
“Just bursting with wisecracks, my lord,” you deadpanned. “It’s time I should be going.” Rising from your chair, you cast a longing glance across the library. “…Would it be too presumptuous of me to ask for permission to visit your library now and again?”
“Permission granted,” he conceded with a nod and twinkle in his fathomless eyes. “You’d be a welcome guest at any time.”
With a grateful ‘thank you’ and a brief smile, you hurried out of the secret door and back to your dorm.
As far as you were concerned, morning had yet to begin if it was almost noon. The sky was completely clouded over, not a glimpse of the tenuous blue visible through the layers upon layers of cottony white. In your professional opinion, if the sun wasn’t visible then the day hadn’t even started; hence why you were still in bed savouring your only day off of the week.
With a contented sigh, you pulled the blankets up to your chin and settled in a more comfortable positon, the battering of the wind against your window and the distant crowing of ravens forming a lulling symphony. Sleep was just around the corner.
A crash startled you out of your pleasant half-awake reverie, the suddenness of the movement quite effectively acquainting your skull with the wooden headboard. You muttered a string of curses, electing to ignore whoever had the unparalleled audacity to make such a noise and go back to sleep. The intruder wasn’t as agreeable about your plan, unfortunately.
“Rise and shine, Trixy!” An all too familiar voice rang out. You groaned and buried your head beneath the covers. Maybe it was a hallucination that would disappear if you ignored it. Hallucinations weren’t tangible, however, but Childe very much was, judging from how he shook your shoulder and prevented you from slipping back into your slumber. You made a half-hearted attempt to bat his hand away.
“Heavens’ sake, Childe,” you rasped, curling up tighter and willing him to go away. The use of his name rather than a snidely bit out title, or worse still, just his rank, gave him pause. You congratulated yourself on managing to shock him long enough to allow yourself to settle back into the mattress. Not even a moment later you felt a freezing pair of hands grab your ankles and pull.
“H-hey!” You kicked and thrashed, but Childe just laughed and tugged you out of bed. You could’ve sobbed. “What do you want?” You grumbled, crossing your arms.
“Awww, it’s almost as if you don’t want me here,” he said with a pout, watching you rub your eyes and push the hair out of your face. You were softer around the edges like this, he thought, hackles lowered slightly and the suspicion in your eyes worn away by sleep.
“You’re slow on the uptake, but know that I’m proud of you for finally coming to a correct conclusion,” you deadpanned. “Now tell me what’s so bloody important that you saw it fit to wake me.”
He grinned brightly. “It’s your day off, isn’t it? I wanted to take you to the city!”
You opened your mouth to snap out a scathing retort that would probably have him leaving the room in a huff, then closed it again. He looked so hopeful, all wide eyes wrinkling at the corners from the wideness of his boyish grin. You wanted to kick yourself for going so soft on him.
“Alright,” you conceded. “Let’s go to the city.”

Arlecchino x GN Reader (SAGAU)
I kinda can’t believe that I’ve written 3 fanfics in 24 hours, after not writing for a year, but idk. I’m motivated and don’t have much else to do (except ignoring my bio homework) (send help, what the hell is osmosis?) I thought about writing for Pantalone next, but @nervouseaglelover requested Arlecchino and I am nothing if not a people pleaser. This may be ooc, but idk SAGAU is nothing if not ooc if we’re being honest. I’m starting this at 6'o clock my time, so hopefully it’ll be done by 9 or 10, if I’m being productive.
Contains - Arlecchino girlbossing, gaslighting and gatekeeping you, her being obsessed with you, mentions of death and murder, mentions of Dottore's head collection (don't ask, it came to me in a dream), tartaglia being beat up by Arlecchino for the second time in this series
Part one is here - the masterlist for the other endings is here
“Arlecchino?”
If you were being entirely honest, you expected a little more … decorum when you had called for Arlecchino. Not the veritable swarm of Harbingers that appeared in your doorway, the moment her name had left your mouth. All of the Harbingers, excluding the one whose name you had uttered.
Tartaglia was at the front of the pack, to little surprise, with his eyes bright with curiosity and a liveliness you rarely saw through a screen. Tucked away to the side was Pantalone, who looked far more … weary than you had expected. His eyes, compared to Tartaglia’s, were bloodshot and dull, with an aura of tiredness radiating off him. You could faintly see the silhouettes of who you assumed to be Capitano and Pierro in the back, looming over the others, and Signora, who stood tall behind Tartaglia, eyes fixed coldly upon you.
You waited, expecting someone to explain why they were ominously standing in your doorway, eyes silently surveying you. But no explanation came and no more movements were made, they seemed almost fixed in your doorway, as though they were waiting for something from YOU.
“Arlecchino?”
You repeated her name again, craning your neck to see if she was merely hidden behind one of her coworkers, concealed by her taller companions. But she did not appear, and you were beginning to wonder if she was not there at all.
Until a perfectly manicured hand reached through the flock of Harbingers and firmly gripped Tartaglia by his hair, dragging him away from the doorway as she stepped into his place.
“Tartaglia, it is awfully rude to be lingering in the doorway like that, not even bothering to greet Their Grace. Such impoliteness does not make a good first impression.”
Arlecchino’s sweetly poisoned words broke the silence, inspiring a string of curses from the 11th Harbinger and some muffled laughter from what sounded like the Balladeer, although you could not see him to confirm. But Arlecchino ignored them and turned to you, eyes soft and yet … hungry. Possessive.
“You called for me, Your Grace? How may I be at your service?”
Her honeyed words and dark eyes had you entranced, almost unable to speak, to respond to her question.
“Oh, I was just wishing to speak to you…”
Arlecchino’s smile widened and she stepped into your room, spinning to address her fellow Harbingers.
“Well, you heard Their Grace. I will be … conversing with them, so please give us some privacy. I’m certain that you all can find something else to do with your time, rather than stand here awkwardly.”
The crack of her slamming the doors in the other Harbingers faces made you jump, but you barely had time to process it before Arlecchino started prowling towards you. Her smile was friendly, but the darkness in her eyes remained, making you nervous. At least, that’s what you assumed those feelings were.
“Oh, Your Grace, look at your hair! It must have gotten all matted while you were resting. Here, let me fix it for you.”
“Huh? My hair feels fi-”
Your words were abruptly cut off as Arlecchino sat down on the side of your bed, tugging you towards her as she wrapped her arms around your waist, pressing your back to her chest. One of her hands made its way to your head, but rather than attempting to fix any knots that may or may not exist, she just tucked your hair behind your ears.
“Your Grace, I understand that you may be worried about those heretics who attempted to take your life. I would like to assure you that you are perfectly safe and that I am ensuring you will never have to worry about them ever again.” She whispered softly into your ear.
Still caught up with the whiplash of the hair, to the hugging, to the thinly veiled threats of murder, you found yourself rather unable to form a coherent response, instead choking out a rather unintelligent sounding ‘mhm’. But Arlecchino didn’t seem to mind, instead giggling softly at your lack of a response.
“I’m glad to see that you are … unbothered by your attackers. My children are hard at work making sure you are kept safe, but knowing that you are already at ease makes me a little less concerned for you.”
“Your children? Do you mean the children of the House of the Hearth?” You finally managed to ask, only just now able to form meaningful sentences again.
“Indeed, you are very intelligent, Your Grace! My children are fetching the heads of your attackers as we speak, bless their hearts. My children are very devoted to you, I hardly even needed to make the suggestion to track down those pieces of scum. I have a great many heads already, if you wish to see them? I have made sure that they are well preserved, so you can gaze upon the mostly intact heads of your enemies without the fear of them beginning to smell.”
“Oh! That’s … uhm … very kind of you? I don’t think I need to see any heads though?”
“Very well then, I will give them to Dottore to add to his collection. I’m sure he will find them a rather pleasant gift, although perhaps not as nice as being able to slay your enemies in person.”
While trying to cope with the second round of emotional whiplash in the last 5 minutes, mostly due to the unwanted knowledge of the fact that the Doctor has a HEAD COLLECTION, you turned to Arlecchino, hoping to inquire more about her ‘children’.
But instead, you found her staring at you with an uncharacteristically stern expression.
“Your Grace.”
“Arlecchino?”
She leaned in close to you, so your faces were only inches apart. You would have thought it was romantic if her eyes were not quite so severe.
“I am a Harbinger. But I am a devotee to you, first and foremost. So, should the need ever arise … Say the word and I will kill any of them.”
“Pardon?” You managed to choke out.
“You heard me, Your Grace. Say the word and I will kill any Harbinger, any Archon, any human or beast that you wish.”
Arlecchino kept eye contact with you for only a moment longer, before smiling and releasing you from her grasp, standing as she did so.
“I believe I hear Pierro calling for me. Forgive me, Your Grace, I must leave you to rest now.”
“But I don’t hear anyone calling for you?”
“Oh? Maybe you were not listening hard enough?” She smiled sweetly and made her way to the door, her lingering words all that remained of her, despite your hurried pleas for her to stay.
“Sweet dreams, Your Grace.”
I actually wrote this in less then 2 hours, I’m lowkey impressed with myself. I know the ending is kinda rushed and vague, but i also totally see Arlecchino gaslighting you like that to get out of a convo. I had a really good time writing this, so I hope yall have a good time reading this! Probably Pantalone next? Idk, we’ll see. I’ve learned not to make promises about my writing anymore.

LETTER | Signora/Rosalyne
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRING: Signora/Rosalyne x Gn!Fatuus!Reader
CW: angst no comfort, character d3aths (two people are implied to pass away), toxic relationship, reader and Signora are only flings, mentions of su!cide, mentions of smut but not explicitly, Scaramouch makes an appearance.
SUMMARY: You were nothing but a fleeting moment in the Fair Lady’s life, but a single letter caused a permanent scar in her heart, far worse than what Rostam left her.
A/N: Ask me why I rewrote a fanfic from 2021 in 2023. It’s because I needed to get out of this damn thing called writer’s block <3 This original fanfic was inspired by a convo I had with Kuro about Signora’s death… :( It’s gender neutral but it was written with a female reader in mind. Her Majesty refers to the Tsaritsa and Rostam is Signora’s late lover btw.
WORDS: 2,413
(FANFIC IS UNDER THE CUT!)
Tumblr media
Signora… Rosalyne, rather, is a woman who harbors negative emotions. Rostam’s death brought her so much grief, turning her into the misunderstood Crimson Witch. Love rendered Rosalyne miserable, and the burning fire in her heart was too powerful to extinguish.
It was because of the Tsaritsa that made her who she is today, a cold Harbinger named Signora, the Fair Lady. She devoted herself to the Cyro Archon for vengeance so that she may let her lover rest once and for all. Everything she does is to honor him, and she will continue to do so until she meets him again.
The power of liquid fire gave Signora a longer lifespan. It was useful for revenge, but it was dreadful when she longed for her lover. They have been apart for so many centuries. But amid her life, someone caught her attention.
You were but a simple Fatuus messenger who served the Sixth Harbinger Balladeer. It was rare for Harbingers to cross paths with one another, much less their servants, but Signora saw you — far more than she could remember.
She observed you from afar out of pure interest. Perhaps she was bored. Perhaps she found you suspicious, for you were too naive and pure to work for an organization like this. But you were skilled in your field. Your talent juxtaposed your looks, she admits. And so she asked the Tsaritsa to place you in her division, deeming you would be more fit under her wing.
The Fair Lady wanted to keep you.
The reason: unknown.
The ambiguity of why Signora took you in soon disappeared. She found herself seeing a part of Rostam in your nature. It was more apparent when she learned of your feelings toward her. Just like Rostam, she would say, of course, not in your presence. She became infatuated with you over time. It wasn’t the same infatuation as your previous lovers, but you welcomed her with open arms.
How could you deny the woman, who was clearly out of your league?
When Inazuma closed its borders, your relationship as lovers became official, albeit a secret from the others, though everyone can sense a rather unusual intimate atmosphere between you two.
You two weren’t like others, not because you were in a relationship with your superior, but because she was indifferent and sought your affection, not you. It may be because of her past — that you didn’t know of — but you pushed the heavy feelings aside as you were grateful to have the privilege to call Signora yours.
You did everything you could to make her feel loved, and Signora felt like her old self, the young maiden from Mondstadt, Rosalyne: the young woman who was in love with a knight named Rostam. But your time together was fleeting.
The demise of your relationship started when she was assigned to collect the Gnoses per the Tsaritsa’s command. You two became equally busy. Signora became more distant and tense, too focused on the mission as if she had been waiting for this moment. She has, but you didn’t know why.
Other Fatuus turned their backs on you upon learning your relationship with the Harbinger. It was understandable, but you didn’t receive special treatment. You worked harder than everyone else, and Signora was harsher toward you, pinning every mistake your peers committed.
Thoughts filled your head, wondering if your relationship with Signora was normal for lovers. All she does is take, take, and take, but not once has she given you the same affection. You tried to understand her, but you were hurting yourself. Even so, you still loved her, because love comes with pain, does it not? Surely, this is only a bumpy road in your relationship.
You were wrong. You knew your relationship was over when Signora requested Her Majesty to place you back in Balladeer’s unit. She didn’t say anything, but her actions told you of her intentions. It hurt how cold she was to you that day as if you weren’t the person she shared her bed with, entangled in each other’s bodies. She acted like your time together meant nothing to her.
As you readjusted to being under Balladeer’s command, not once have you seen Signora. You knew she didn’t want to see you anymore, but your heart did not waver, rather, your heart ached from not seeing her. You were holding onto false hope — hoping she was only distant to remain professional, but you knew she was too busy, or did not bother, to officialize your parting.
Everything you did was for her, just as everything Signora did was for Rostam. You realized you knew nothing of her past, save for having a lover. You did not know him, what their story was, and how they parted. But you saw longing and love in Signora’s eyes.
There were times when Signora looked at you with an unrecognizable gaze. Only now did you learn what it was. The ache in your heart was unbearable, knowing you were just someone to fill the hole in her heart, the hole Rostam left. She didn’t love you like you loved her. It hurt so much. But you were meant to be utilized, for you were a tool. A tool has various purposes. Signora merely took advantage of your love to fulfill her needs.
It was hard to accept, but you tried to, for this was reality. After all, the Fair Lady gave you, a mere Fatuus, an opportunity to become part of her private life. A Harbinger cannot be romantically involved with an underling. Although you can no longer call her yours, it was a privilege you had, and you will forever cherish your time together, because everything you do is for her, regardless of what she saw you as. You were only flings, but your feelings for her will remain eternal.
You just hope she will remember you, even when you no longer live…
.
.
.
“What uselessness. Your lover, rather, ex-lover, tried to attack the blonde due to some personal grudge. My plans would’ve gone smoothly if not for their interruption,” Scaramouche grumbled, crossing his arms with a petty scoff. “It wasn’t even a big injury; they bled to death. Her Majesty would’ve had them disposed of were they to survive anyway.”
Signora was too engrossed in your state to process his words as horrified eyes gazed at your lifeless body before her. Cuts and bruises decorated your skin, and the shine in your eyes was now dull. She had realized you were dead. But somehow, you looked more at peace, as though she could see you smiling at her with glimmering eyes. She felt her heart sink from the thought.
“I could’ve left them where they were, so you owe me, Signora. Alas, you better not linger for too long, you have yet to meet the Shogun,” are the words the puppet told her before swinging the sliding the shoji doors and disappearing to who-knows-where.
It was a déjà vu, a familiar feeling, yet it was different. Signora’s feelings didn’t make sense. You were nothing but a fleeting moment in her life, but the impact you had on her was great. You passed away fighting someone, like Rostam when he fought in the war and lost his life. Only this time, there was a corpse presented before her.
Signora didn’t know how long she towered over your body and bore into your soulless eyes, but it must’ve been a while for salty tears pooled on the bloody tatami mat. And so she fell on her knees as her sobs grew louder. Trembling fingers carefully mounted your head on her chest, cradling you like a newborn child. The growing pool of blood tainted everything around you, including Signora’s precious dress.
Your body was losing warmth each second, and she was desperately holding onto everything that was left. Signora received everything you had. She wishes you keep your warmth. You can’t throw it away like some fool, but she knew it was too late. Your fingertips were as cold as her delusion’s powers.
The last time she cried, tears of amber rolled down her cheeks, turning her into the Crimson Witch as liquid fire consumed her. But here she was, weeping salty tears like a human being. Does a part of her humanity still linger within her? Was this your doing? It was a bittersweet feeling, she admits. But she remembers you’re no longer with her. Your bright soul is gone because of her.
“You fool! I… I couldn’t even say goodbye…”
The woman you gave your heart to let her walls down as she grieved, her heart tightening from the pain.
But didn’t she use you? Why would she grieve for a pawn she used? She couldn’t possibly have the right to mourn for you when your death is the consequence of her actions, her indifference.
Signora hugs you close as she rocks on her knees like a mother hushing her crying child. But she was crying, and you were hushed, still and cold, stinging her skin. Only your blood remained warm, but it was soon drying up, becoming as cold as you, further bringing pain to her heart.
Is this Celestia’s punishment for going against the heavenly principles? Must her life be full of woe?
Signora’s sobs resonated around the room, grief apparent in her cries, hugging you tighter and tighter, refusing to let you go until her fingers brushed against a tattered letter from your coat’s pocket. Tears soaked her attire to clear her vision and grab the letter.
Her stomach churned as she saw to whom it was for. It was for her.
Tumblr media
Dear Signora,
I never got to know your real name, My Lady. I didn’t want to pry by asking, but your name must be beautiful. It’s a shame, really. I would’ve loved for your name to fall from my lips. It would’ve been intimate of us, don’t you think? Alas, we weren’t meant to be. I understand you have your reasons for being distant and for using me. It was painful — for the woman I love does not reciprocate my feelings — but I hold no grudge, nor regret giving my life to you. I’m honored to have been able to give you my love. I will forever cherish the fleeting moments we shared.
I’m writing you this letter to officialize the goodbye we never had. The moment I was brought back to my unit, I knew we were over, but I hoped you would come back for me. It was a foolish thought, I know, but it’s funny now that I think about it. I really am in love. And I keep hoping for something impossible because my feelings are strong for you, My Lady. Please don’t feel burdened. I say this because, as much as you try to hide it, and it may be presumptuous of me, but you care. You may not love me, but I can feel your caringness toward me. I’m grateful. I truly am.
Now, if ever you read this letter, it means I’m no longer alive. I made sure of it. It would be a miracle if you even found this letter. Please don’t misunderstand the situation. I wavered a duel with the traveler for a reason. Even if I came back unscathed, which would be another miracle, my life would be terminated by Her Majesty for my disobedience. I don’t dare to take my own life. Frankly, I wish to say I’m tired, My Lady. I simply do not find joy in being alive anymore and wish to rest. I’ve been planning for this moment for a long time, even before I met you, so please don’t blame yourself for my death. I admire how you still have that will within you. The reason must be to avenge someone you loved, no? I apologize for doing some background work on your history, albeit not finding much, but I wanted to know more about you.
I hope you succeed, My Lady. I wish for you to lay off your burdens and find peace. I want to thank you for making my life bloom with color before I left. Therefore, I have no regrets in life. Although without your permission, allow me to say I love you. I may have never said these words in front of you, and have been contemplating whether or not to say them, but I was too late to decide. Thus, I end my letter with my declaration of love and parting.
I love you so much, My Fair Lady.
— Your former Fatuus underling.
Tumblr media
The letter fell from her grasp as she drowned in grief, the ink drowning in her tears, rendering the paragraphs illegible. Was she so distant that you dared not sign your letter intimately? You even addressed her formally, as if it was a report. Why did you stay with someone like her? She knew why, but she refused to acknowledge it. You loved her so much that you put yourself and your pain aside to please her and let yourself get used.
Signora cups your face, gently pressing her warm lips against your forehead, your eyes, your nose, your cheeks, until your cold lips meet with hers. How your lips cuddled against hers, oh so perfectly. Only now did she realize how warm your kisses were, how you would smile and blush, even if it was a quick peck. Those kisses were your kisses, they weren’t Rostam’s.
She was responsible for your death, Signora assures. You may have been planning it for a long time, but her ignorance caused the last blow. Had she not exploited you, you might've still been breathing, and happy with someone who deserves you, someone who would devote their life to you, someone who would love you as you loved her. You were the flower she poisoned and left to wither due to her actions…
Signora truly did not deserve someone like you.
“My name is Rosalyne. Please say it, my name. Please speak, please…”
A blood-chilling cry of grief filled the room when you remained silent, unable to utter the name you yearned to say. You were gone, truly gone. She killed you.
Rosalyne didn’t choose you because you were an image of Rostam. She chose you because you made her feel human. But she was blinded, not realizing the truth behind her emotions.
.

.
“Rosalyne!”
It wasn’t you; it was Rostam.

Genshin Impact: Queen's Guard Dog [1]
Part 2!
Summary: In which you are Tsaritsa’s closest retainer and servant, the one who is at the Queen’s beck and call.
You are Brighella, the Queen’s Guard Dog.
Or, the Harbingers treat you a bit differently.
Pairing: Tartaglia, Arlecchino, Pantalone, Il Dottore x GN! Reader
Note: Okay. The Foutaine Trailer though? I simply had to write something for Harbingers.
Warning: None.
★・・・・・・★
To Tartaglia, you are a mysterious shadow.
You weren’t a Harbinger, but your status makes you one, if not higher.
Like a shadow, you appear and disappear with an elegance that matches Her Majesty. But unlike Her Majesty, your heart has not frozen from the truth of the world.
As such, you would appear more human at times.
Which was why Tartaglia would dare to ever approach you when he first became a Harbinger, and actively seek you out whenever he could.
He wanted to fight against you, but he never had the opportunity.
Yet, who knew he would be the one approached by you.
“Brighella. It’s been a while.”
“Brighella, how have you been?” You smiled in response and nodded in acknowledgement.
“La Signora, Tartaglia. Her Majesty has bestowed me your mission.” Your voice was quite relaxed, almost sing-song as you pulled out a scroll.
In an instant, Tartaglia and Signora knelt on one knee and bowed their heads, your were Her Majesty’s proxy and your words should be treated as if they came from Her Majesty herself.
“Go to Liyue, and take Morax’s Gnosis.”
“We will obey your order!” They both chorused and stood up. You nod in approval before the scroll evaporates in midair.
“Good. That is all.” La Signora immediately left without looking back at all. Typical.
“Brighella.” Tartaglia called out, making the Guard Dog perk up.
“Care for a spar? Help me warm up before I fight Morax.” He proposed, watching you with his challenging eyes.
Slowly, a dangerous smirk rose to your face, making him excited too.
But to his disappointment, you quickly returned to your composure.
“Perhaps when you rise in rank, dear youngest.” You reached out with one hand and ruffled his hair.
Tartaglia widens his eyes in surprise, but he takes full advantage of it by leaning forward and enjoying the attention from such a high entity like yourself.
“Then, I look forward to your success.” Before you left, he had grabbed your hand and placed a gentle kiss on the back of your hand.
“Of course, Your Highness.”
To Arlecchino, you are a deceptive actor.
You are a shapeshifter, one that could be adapted to whatever the needs of the scenario might be, to any circumstance or play.
The world is your stage, and with each performance, you unveil a new face, assuming countless aliases to deceive those around you. You don’t discriminate in who you fool, so long as it brings joy to you.
But Arlecchino could see through your intricate web of deception, and easily pinpoint you in the crowd. While others may fall prey to your cruel manipulations, she remains untangled, resistant to your deceptive allure.
“Brighella, stop with your disgusting act.” She says with her stoic expression, but you know she’s hiding her amusement.
“Then why do you clap? Dear Arlecchino?”
In a world of illusions and falsehoods, Arlecchino is the one who understands the craft of acting, the art of transformation.
“Ha. Don’t get ahead of yourself Brighella, Your act is nothing more than a distraction, all that’s left for you is pity for your worthless act.” She approaches in strides, easily reaching you in a matter of seconds.
She raises your chin with a finger and stares into your eyes.
It’s dangerous but thrilling. This game you two play.
“Cut the crap, tell me what you’re here for.” Authoritarian as always, some things never change.
You responded to her move with your own, bringing a strand of her hair to your lips.
(Who will fall first?)
“It’s showtime my dear Knave. Her Majesty expects a good show.” Both pulled away with their masks thrown aside. Arlecchino bowed deeply.
“Yes, Your Highness.”
To Pantalone, you are an unsatiated dog.
Money slips through your fingers effortlessly, as if you give it little thought. Perhaps this lavishness is merely a facade, a clever act to hide your true cunning nature.
Pantalone, however, sees the duality within you. He witnesses your unwavering devotion towards Tsaritsa, but beneath that surface, he also sees your selfish motives, your relentless pursuit of personal gain at the cost of others.
You are shrewd as you are “kind”. You are greedy, just as you are “generous”.
But Pantalone can’t say such things about you, when he’s the same, or when he’s fully enjoying the benefits of your “generosity”.
“Brighella, to what do I owe the pleasure of the Queen’s Guard dog?”
“Oh dear Pantalone, it’s that time of the year again.” Though you had your usual smile on your lips, you stood upright and expectant.
The yearly report requires a thorough checkup of all Harbingers’s work, accomplishments and progress since the previous year. This will then be reported to Her Majesty for her discretion.
“Of course, let me show you around.” Pantalone offered a hand, which you took graciously as he led you around the Central Bank of Snezhnaya, reporting every single thing that needed to be heard.
As always, he expected your arrival and your purpose, and had always prepared ahead to ensure nothing but perfection and luxury reached your eyes.
After all, your eyes are Her Majesty’s eyes. What you see is what She will see.
So why do such pests have to exist and make a mistake in front of your presence?
“I’m so sorry, Your Highness! Please spare me!” A little rat dare spill wine on you?
Before you said anything, Pantalone covered your eyes with his gloved hands. A quick shuffle of feet and a muffled cry before it slowly faded into nothing but silence. When Pantalone uncovered your eyes, the employee was out of your sight.
“Your Highness, please come this way. I will get you a change of clothes immediately.”
“Be sure to ‘take care’ of the little servant. After all, it was just one mistake.” You advised, when suddenly a few employees rushed forward to take care of you.
Pantalone didn’t need to be told twice, it was what he intended after all. With a subtle bow and a glint in his eyes, he responded with the utmost courtesy.
“Your Highness, I promise you will never see that servant again.”
To Il Dottore, you are an ancient antique, a relic from a bygone era. An ageless monster as rumours would say, as time seems to be nothing to you.
Throughout the years, Il Dottore has seen you in action.
Where you are a masterful liar, and an inveterate schemer. If a plan fails, you have a magnificent ability to weave the situation in your favour and make it the fault of others. But such an occasion is a rarity, where Dottore had only seen once in his life.
After all, you are meticulous and calculating underneath your charming facade.
From a sinner to an innocent, Dottore marveled at how you manipulated the scene at a moment’s notice.
But that was not what caught his attention.
It was your seemingly timeless existence that has remained unfazed for a long long time by Her Majesty’s side. Your existence has never been confirmed and he had always wanted to be the first to discover.
To him, you are an enigma, a puzzle waiting to be solved.
So when you arrived in his lab to congratulate him on achieving a higher rank, he was thoroughly pleased.
“To think Your Highness would be personally here to congratulate me and deliver me such good news from Her Majesty, I am honoured.” Dottore grins as he bows before you.
“You have shown your skills worthy of Her Majesty’s praise, as such, you may ask for a reward.”
“Oh, any reward? Is this from yourself, Your Highness?” A sly smile rose to his lips.
When Brighella nodded, Dottore immediately extended a hand.
“I would like a sample of your blood, Your Highness.”
“Oh?” You had a knowing and sly expression on your face.
“Yes, that is all I need.” A beat of silence, before you placed your hand in his.
“Then, I will fulfill your curiosity.” Dottore had never been happier.
With your approval, he obtained your blood sample without any problems and immediately began formulating experiments in his head.
Not before gently placing a gentle kiss on the inside of your elbow, where your blood was taken out.
“Your Highness, I promise to bring you results.”
