Some time ago I bought this last piece of the first print Echoes From The Void #1 - Better Without You from Kelly McKernan and she signed it for me. It took a long time but yesterday it finally came home and it's so beautiful. Now I need to track the other ones! I'm glad that I could support two artists I love.

Art Haul and Artist Appreciation post! . Tina Spratt @tinaspratt ecently hosted a giveaway, and I won! And OHMYGOSH, the print is so gorgeous! Emerald City Comic Con 2018

Emerald City!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know that our home con is the 3rd largest in the country????

This year's con was as to be expected, legendary!!!! I about walked my feet right off this year but damn was it a great time. I had the pleasure of talking to tons of artist and writers, hung out with some fans, got a few new comics and even saw Rikki Simons (voice of Gir from Invader Zim!!). 

I'm always amazed at the number of people that dress up, the cosplay was insane this year, with a wide variety of characters from all geek platforms. Some of my absolute favorites were the Khaleesi with the bloody heart (holy shit yes!!!),  @TheSleepyMuse as a very sexy Poison Ivy, our own Seattle native @emeraldcityelf as Rouge, and you, of course, can't forget the stunning @Chelsey_Gentry as Princess Aurora.

Artist Alley this year was insane, so many great names in comics came out to represent. Had my Batgirl Rebirth Issue #1 signed by Julie and Shawna Benson after a panel they were apart in, picked up a new print from Kelly McKernan, Micheal Garland and even had a chance to check out John Giang con exclusive Luke Skywalker prints!! Picked up a few new comics to start reading ASAP, The Utopian Vol.1, Three Dark Crowns, and The Dying and the Dead. 

All and all another great year at Emerald City, with so many big comic cons in our future this was a great warm up. Look for us at Wondercon LA, C2E2 Chicago, Rose City Portland, and more!!!
