At 10:42 at night, the UA school were at Prom, the teachers chaperoning and watching over the students as they danced the night away. Shota Aizawa stood awkwardly in the corner, hand wrapped around a cup of punch, his eyes scanning the crowd, making sure the students were okay.

"You should really be having fun, Aizawa!" Present Mic boomed, a glimmer in his shades and a charming smile on his face, his elbow nudging into Aizawa's side.

"Not much to do as a chaperone.. Plus.. I like just sitting here, sipping on this.." Aizawa motioned to his cup.

"You could always dance with Y/N, she is across the room chatting with Midnight. Both said they'd rather talk then chaperone." Aizawa looked up and saw Midnight laughing at something you must have said, your face as cheerful as ever, until you locked eyes.

Aizawa looked away quickly and buried his face into his scarf, a small blush on his pale face.

"She's coming this way!!"

"SHUT U-"

"Hey Aizawa!"

He was immediately shut up by your voice, looking toward you.

"Hello Y/N."

"Uhm.. A slow dance is coming up and I wondered if you wanted to uh... Dance with me..?"

He perked up and gasped a bit, covering it up with an awkward cough. Present Mic wiggled his brows and Aizawa glared at him then turned to you, softening his look.

"Why not? I have nothing to lose.."

A soft guitar tune rang out from the speakers, Y/N grabbing his hand.

"C'mon!"

"Have fun, Love Birds!"

Y/N guided Aizawa to the dance floor, his hand being placed softly on her hip, other hand wrapped into hers.

They were surrounded by the students of UA but Aizawa could only notice her, and her him.

"You look very handsome tonight, Aizawa. A suit really does wonders." Y/N smiled, moving softly to the music.

"Present Mic picked it out, said I couldn't wear my casual wear to 'Prom'."

Y/N laughed a bit, "Of course, though.. I think you look great either way.."

Aizawa's eyes widened a bit, "Y/N.."

"To tell you the truth, I think you are a very handsome man, with a undeniably unique personality and a beautiful smile."

The music seemed to almost slow down as Aizawa took one of his hands and brought it up to push a few stray hairs out of Y/N's face.

"You know, I think the same about you too.."

"Really..?" He leaned in, getting closer to her lips.

"Mhm."

Then, his lips catched hers, the initial shock slowly but surely dying down as they both leaned in more to go deeper into the tender kiss.

"Uhhh.."

Y/N turned her eyes to the side to see the students, all looking at the twos public display of affection. Her face lit up almost immediately and she covered her face.

"Go on and keep dancing kids." Aizawa said bluntly, hand intertwined with Y/N's. "We have a lot to talk about."
