Most recent song in this series this time! I gave it the title "Your Therapist", and in terms of title expectations, it's a bit of a plot twist.

Also, I sometimes wear glasses irl (I'm not blind without them, but they are a requirement to drive…or read menu displays) so I thought I'd add that to the drawing this time. This song does feel like the musical equivalent of an anime glasses tilt, after all.

Hey rhythm game enthusiasts and modders! I'm excited to share that I'm working on an awesome Friday Night Funkin' mod featuring my killer clown OC, Elowen. Elowen is not your typical clown-she's got killer dance moves and a style that's out of this world!

I'm on the lookout for talented collaborators to help bring Elowen to life. We need artists to create her vibrant and unique look, coders to make sure her dance moves are smooth and seamless, and musicians to compose some killer tracks for her levels.

when i was in my teens i remember wanting to "make furry music" which, to me, at the time, was just very fast ravey stuff, because the only exposure i had to furry music was that, and i felt like if i made anything else it wouldnt be furry music and that furries would not be interested in my music. but i gave up on it because i felt like i couldnt get that sound down very well and my interest in it just wasnt sustained very long. fucked up that ive actually been making furry music this entire time and i could have been getting involved in the community and sharing my stuff like anyone else but i was too damn dissociated and autistic to realize it

Q: I’ve read somewhere that you do not consider yourself a songwriter, but rather someone that structures music and sounds, performing the orchestration of the pieces, sort of orthogonal to the whole natural songwriting process. Can you elaborate on where you see your strengths and weaknesses in that domain?

Alan: Well, that’s pretty much it. For me, it’s exciting to have a vocal melody, a great voice, and a set of lyrics to work with. From there, I think I can build a piece of music which can illustrate what the song’s all about by, firstly, creating an atmosphere. Once that feels right, the rest of the process is structural, rather like finishing a complicated jigsaw, and I gradually fit all the elements together and refine the sound.
