katsuki hears you giggling from inside your room as you make your way to the door. he sighs, though it's mostly in relief. even though you were being annoying and teasing him, he hasn't made you laugh in so damn long.

the doorknob twists and the door creaks open slowly. "who goes there!"

"your ice cream is already melting, but i'll blow it up in your face if you don't open the damn door."

"PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!"

katsuki lets you snatch the grocery bags from him and watches in satisfaction as you realise that he didn't just come with two tubs of ice cream, but also several bags of your favourite potato chips.

"katsuki," you cried dramatically. "you didn't have to!"

"you always sulk when i go to the damn store without buying you those damn chips," he says but crosses his arms smugly, walking past you to sit on your bed. "you better ration that shit, though. m'not buyin' you more chips this week."

"what? why?" you demanded, face contorting as your smile turned into a frown. katsuki's too amused by your sudden moodswing to be annoyed. cute.

"s'not healthy. too much salt."

"i ate takeout everyday for dinner last week and it wasn't healthy either."

this gets katsuki annoyed. he glares at you. "you're the one who asked me for space. don't go complainin' 'bout food now."

"it's your fault that i needed space!"

"you said i didn't do anything! what the fuck am i catching strays for?"

"whatever," you grumbled, sitting next to katsuki with two tubs of ice cream and a spoon in each hand. "chocolate chip cookie dough or ooey gooey cookie."

"you wanted chocolate chip."

"but do you want ooey gooey cookie?"

"s'fine."

"'kay."

you hand him the tub of ice cream and you both rip open the lids.

"so," you shove a spoonful of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream into your mouth. you bite down on the ice cream, and you catch katsuki wincing beside you. you ignore him, scooping another spoonful of ice cream but offering it to katsuki instead. "what'd you want to tell me?"

katsuki's silent. he scoops a spoonful of his ooey gooey cookie and finally meets your gaze as he offers you his spoon.

you could make katsuki's life easy and take the spoon from him yourself, but where's the fun in that? so you part your mouth and say "ahh".

katsuki rolls his eyes at you but brings the spoon up to your mouth and feeds you the ice cream.

"it is ooey gooey," you murmur softly. you bring the spoon up to katsuki's mouth and he glares at you before reluctantly opening his mouth.

"it has chocolate chips," he deadpans.

"don't avoid my question," you nudged your shoulder against his. you don't pull away, and katsuki lets you lean your shoulder against his. "you sounded stressed when you texted me."

"i was not stressed."

"really?"

"fine," katsuki sighed. you feel him lean down to rest his chin on top of your head. "maybe i was a little stressed."

you hum. "what was bothering you?"

katsuki closes his eyes and tilts his face downwards ever so slightly to kiss your hair. "i missed you," he admits quietly.

"i know," you whisper. "i'm sorry. i missed you too."

"why'd you ask for space?"

"i wanted more than what we already had," you said sadly. "i know you weren't using me, but it felt like i wanted you in ways you didn't want me back."

katsuki pulls back to look at you. "how do you want me?"

"in like a for-the-rest-of-my-life way."

katsuki smiles.

"i'd be more than happy to indulge you in that, darling."

katsuki presses a soft kiss to your lips.

"m'sorry for not asking this earlier, but would you be my girlfriend?"

i personally do not recommend the fwb-to-lovers route. that shit messyyyyy. also sorry i like ice cream and potato chips 😋 and i love biting my ice cream HEHE

a face to remember (hwang hyunjin x gn!reader)

author's note: um, hi ?? do you guys remember me ??🥸 this is the first thing ive written in the past few weeks so pls be nice, i know its not the best, but writer's block sucks so when i finally managed to put words into sentences im gonna post it and you cant stop me🙂‍↕️

“we finally got to talk to that old lady i told you about yesterday,” you said, pouring yourself some tea into the mug. you peeked at the screen and hyunjin smiled faintly at you, encouraging you to continue.

he was sitting at his desk, his phone leaning against the stack of books he kept there so that you could see him well. dim light in his room made him look so cosy, almost domestic, and it made your heart swell with love. “turns out she used to be a history teacher, so she told us about all of those cool stuff, like this one time-” you glanced at your phone screen again and noticed that hyunjin wasn’t looking at you anymore. he was holding a pencil, but you couldn’t see what he was doing. “hello? are you listening to me?” you pouted, but he only hummed, too immersed in whatever he was doing at that moment. “hey, if you don’t wanna talk i can just hang up,” you mumbled, hurt that your boyfriend wasn’t paying attention to you.

being away from your partner was hard – you missed hyunjin’s soft touch as he hugged you and played with your hair every night before you fell asleep and you missed making breakfast for him and kissing him goodbye when he went to work. your trip was only temporary, but it didn’t make things easier. those video calls were the only way for the two of you to not lose your minds completely, so seeing hyunjin busying himself with something as you talked about your day broke your heart. were you really that boring? 

“what? baby, no, don’t hang up,” hyunjin snapped his head up at your words. 

“then listen to me!” 

“i am listening to you, love.” 

“then what are you doing, huh?” you pointed at the bottom of the screen, right at the pencil in his hand. 

“i’m drawing you!” he responded with a mix of amusement and disbelief in his voice, picking up his sketchbook to show you the halfway done drawing. you recognized your face on the paper, letting about a little oh and blushing like crazy.

“why are you drawing me?” you mumbled in confusion as your whole face and neck turned cherry red. hyunjin giggled at your dumbfounded expression, putting the sketchbook down.

“i always draw you as we talk through the phone, you just never noticed. it helps me deal with the distance,” he confessed, letting out a loud sigh. “i miss you, y’know? so every time we talk i want to remember your face and that’s why i draw you.” you snorted at his words, your laugh echoing through the kitchen. 

“god, you’re so dramatic. i’ve been gone for two weeks and you’re acting as if you haven’t seen me in years.” 

hyunjin shrugged his shoulders with a small smirk. “feels like years to me. but i mean it when i say i miss you. my bed feels empty without you in it.” 

you felt a pain in your chest at his words. “i know, baby, i miss you too. but i’ll be home soon and you won’t have to draw me anymore.” 

“i’ll do it anyway. i love you too much not to draw you," he beamed, making sure to capture the spark in your eyes on his drawing.

A LITTLE WHILE LONGER

gn!reader | atsumu parent au, 700 words of silly fluff(?) Unless u think about growing up too much.

“’tsumu? what’s wrong? why’re you crying?” you put your keys in your pocket, eyes focused on atsumu who’s leaning his head back on the couch, blinking away tears and wiping his cheeks.

he huffs, turning away as if you wouldn’t be able to hear him sniffling. “’m not cryin’!”

“makoto,” you call your daughter who’s sitting with her back to you. “what happened—oh my god, why’re you both crying?”

she looks over her shoulder, and you catch her phone and crumpled tissues in her hands. they look at you with the same pout and loud denial—“we’re not crying!”

the echo is an unconventional comfort—‘we’ enough to tell you that nobody’s said or done any real damage. makoto brings her legs up to sit cross-legged in her chair, grabbing the pillow from behind her to her lap, and you look at your husband. “atsumu.”

his still red eyes snap toward you and his jaw drops, voice filled with hoarse betrayal, “what?! why’re ya lookin’ at me? ‘t’s her fault!”

your daughter gasps and throws her pillow at his chest. “dad!”

atsumu catches it with ease. “makoto!”

“guys.”

stopped before one of them can pick up another pillow, the pair sit back in their seats, this time atsumu holding the pillow up to his chin. makoto sniffles as she unlocks her phone. “here.”

when you walk over and she passes it to you, it’s set to the front camera with some sort of filter waiting to start. you furrow your brows and look to her for explanation.

“it’s an ageing filter—dad started crying when he saw what i’d look like when i get old.”

she sniffles once more, and something in your chest softens. you look toward atsumu who, as if he could feel your gaze, looks away from the corner of the room back to you. his cheeks match his eyes, and he tries to stop what he knows is going to happen, “don’t you—”

“awww.”

“babe,” the whine is immediate as he slouches into the couch.

you only snicker as you hand makoto her phone back, and make your way to him with a smile and arms wide open. despite everything, he straightens, leans toward you and your touch. his head rests against your stomach as you run your fingers through his hair. (you think makoto says “ew” behind you.)

“’tsumu, you big softie,” you tease.

he scoffs weakly as he wraps his arms around your waist. “she’s crying too!”

“am not.”

atsumu peaks his head from around you. “are too, y’liar.”

“i’ve never cried in my life,” makoto denies, a rasp in her words.

the blond in your arms scoffs again. “tell that t’me when you were 7 and crying ’cause y’stepped on a ladybug by accident.”

makoto gasps. “her name was milly, you monster.”

you snort, turning to look at your daughter. “sorry to milly, now stop fighting. family hug time, c’mere.”

and even as they stick their tongues out at each other, they both stand so you can wrap your arms around them, and atsumu quietly plants a kiss to both of your heads. you mumble with a smile, “love you guys.”

“love you too.”

“love you. and you are never growing up.”

“biologically impossible.”

“don’t care, you’re eight now.”

“what—eight?!”

the hug breaks, and you sigh dramatically, atsumu pulling makoto into a headlock you know she could get out of in seconds, even while she laughs.

“eight.”

“why can’t i stay seventeen?”

“numbers don’t go that high for ya anymore.”

“then what’re you?”

“a young and handsome twenty-four year old.”

“ya wish, old man!”

walking away, you call out, “i’m gonna get dinner started, don’t break anything!”

makoto’s “thank you!” is followed by atsumu’s “we won’t!”, and the bittersweet ache in your bones at the thought of your family getting older is soothed by the sound of laughter from the living room, a reminder it'll be you all together, for at least a while longer.

girl dad atsumu who loves and spoils his daughter to bits is so real but also It's Atsumu.. The Miyas... i thought it'd be nice 2 see her picking up more of his personality + them being silly 🙂‍↕️ (these kinds of relationships r so endearing 2 me 😭🩷) everypony knows they love each other soo much even while they're 'fighting' and accusing the other of cheating at mario kart or whatever LOL.

was gonna make tsumu point out makoto crying at the thought of Him getting old btw but then i would've taken longer to Pack This Up and also had to deal with ME thinking about MY parents so here we are 🫡

Smoker Creeps x Reader who doesn’t like the smell of smoke/weed.

J E F F T H E K I L L E R (cigarettes & weed)

- Instantly defensive when you bring it up. Not because he cares that much, but because he hates being told what to do :3

- "Oh, you don't like it? Damn. That's crazy." Proceeds to light up anyway.

- Expect him to make it your problem for at least a while. Blows smoke near you just to see you react. "That bad, huh?" Grinning like an asshole (i hate him 😒/j)

- If you really press him about it, he gets irritated. "You're acting like I pissed on the floor or something."

- But over time? He starts adjusting slightly without making a big deal out of it :p

- Won't smoke directly around you.

- Steps outside more.

- Maybe switches to edibles instead of smoking weed if you really complain.

- If you ever joke that he already smells like blood and sweat without the cigarettes, he'll flip you off but secretly be self-conscious. Might start chewing gum more. (not that he'll admit it)

T I M / M A S K Y (only cigarettes)

- Doesn't react much.

- You tell him you hate the smell of cigarettes, and he just gives a neutral nod, and goes “Okay.”

- He's been smoking for years, He's not quitting, but he respects your space.

- Always smokes outside 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

- Blows the smoke away from you. (If you’re near)

- If you mention it lingering on him, he washes his hands and changes shirts before coming near you (he hates doing it because it’s just giving you both more laundry to do, but he loves you 😫😫)

- The only time he gets annoyed is if you keep pushing him to quit. "I heard you the first time."

- If you're genuinely concerned for his health instead of just complaining, he might cut back a little :p

- He won't say anything about it, but you'll notice he smokes less often when you're around.

- If you say he tastes like an ashtray when he kisses you, he'll scoff but maybe pop in a mint next time. Maybe.

B R I A N / H O O D I E (cigarettes & weed)

- Smirks when you bring it up. "Damn. That's rough for you." Proceeds to exhale smoke dramatically (he’s so annoying >:(/j)

- Like Tim, he won't quit, but he won't push it on you either.

- Big on compromise. He's the type to be like, "Alright, I won't smoke inside if you stop giving me that look every time l smoke."

- If you hate the weed smell more than cigarettes, he'll just switch to edibles. "Doesn’t hit the same, but it’s more efficient."

- If you hate both, he sighs but starts covering the smell better.

- Sprays his hoodie more,

- Chews gum,

- & starts smoking outside.

- If you complain while he's high, he laughs his ass off. "You're literally mad at a plant right now."

- Fake betrayal. "Wait, you don't like the smell? Damn. Thought we were cool." Clutches chest dramatically (😒)

- Ngl- he's lazy as hell. He won't stop smoking weed, but he'll try to adjust in the easiest way possible.

- or uses a fan.

- Hotboxes his room instead of the whole house 😭😭

- If you really can't stand it, he might switch to edibles instead. But he's gonna complain.

- "Do you know how much more expensive these are?"

- "See what I do for you?" Says this while waving around his weed gummy.

- If you whine about it too much, he blows smoke in your face on purpose. "C'mon, it’s a plant."

- Jeff → Defensive at first, but low-effort adjustments over time. Won't quit but will smoke away from you more.

- Tim → Doesn't stop but respects your space. Only gets annoyed if you nag.

- Brian → Compromises easily, switches to edibles if needed. Still makes jokes about it.

- Ben → Lazy stoner behavior. Might swap to edibles, but expect complaints.

“Oh fuck off! You were literally drooling over him this morning!” Y/n sighed, playing with the ends of her hair. “Fine, I’m not over him, he’s too dreamy, but I am definitely not going to a kook party just to admire him from a far” Gina rolled her eyes flopping down onto y/n’s bed.

“Why do you hate me?” Y/n sat huh down next to her. “Huh?! I do almost anything for you! Why can’t you do this for me?” She pouted dramatically, y/n groaned feeling bad. “Fine” she gave in. “Yeah! Let’s fucking gooo!” She jumped up, cheering. “You so won’t regret this babe!”

She regretted it the second they walked through the door. “What the fuck” she mumbled under her breath. They pushed past people making it into the giant kitchen. “What do you want?” Gina asked her, eyeing the available drinks. “Just get me a Coke” Gina nodded walking away. “Oh look, a First timer!” A voice rang from behind y/n, she turned internally groaning, Rafe Cameron.

“Hi” she nodded awkwardly, he gave his usual cocky smirk. “Hello” he leaned in, disrupting her personal space. “What are you doing here?” He tilted his head, his fingers grabbing a strand of her hair and twirling it, his breath reeked of beer. Y/n shrugged, this was uncomfortable. “leave her alone rafe” Gina returned, handing y/n her soda can, a red solo cup in her other. “Gina” Rafe’s smirked faltered. “Rafe” she sized him up, he inched back.

“Have fun” his gaze returned to y/n, before pushing past them. “He’s still so scared of you” y/n laughed, cracking open her soda. “Of course he is, I’m still the only person that has knocked him out” they cheered their drinks.

Gina had left y/n alone after her third solo cup, she was making out with some blonde in the corner and y/n sat on the couch as they passed around a joint. She grimaced, the smell strong, maybe it was better than the white powder that sat on table but the smell was terrible, she stood walking out into the backyard.

She saw the giant pool in the middle, making note to not walk too close. Rafe and topper sat at the edge of the pool. . “Yo, bro” topper tapped rafes shoulder. “There’s y/n” he whispered, watching you. “You should throw her in the pool” he laughed, his eyes bloodshot. “Bet” Rafe laughed, chugging down the last of his beer.

Y/n walked over to the snack table, disappointed she hadn’t seen jj. She munched on some pretzels, thinking about the blonde haired boy. “First timer!” Rafe yelled from behind her as he lifted her, catching her off guard. She yelped, coming to as she saw the giant pool inching closer. “No! No!” She yelled trying to free herself, rafes laughter grew, as he held her over the pool. “Please! No!” She sobbed, her hands gripping his shirt as he tried to throw her.

“Hey! What the fuck man!” another voiced boomed, she felt herself drop, the water engulfing her, her eyes closed, everything went black for a second.

She felt arms wrap around her, gasping for air as They brought her back to surface. “I got you” a voice spoke softly carrying her out of the water. “I got you” he repeated. He made sure she was okay before turning to rafe and decking him in the face, the people around gasping as he stumbled to the ground. He straddled him punching him over and over, y/n sat on the floor coughing up water as people rushed to get jj off of rafe.

jj raised his hands in surrender, his Knuckles bloody, from both their blood. He cupped y/n’s face, “let’s get you warm” he helped her up, leading her back into the house. “Y/n/n” Gina gasped as she stumbled over. “I’m okay” she sniffled, grabbing at Gina’s hand. “I’ll take you home” she slurred, jj cut in. “You’re drunk, I’ll take both of you home” Gina glared at the blonde.

“Thank you” y/n spoke, her clothes were now damp as she stepped off his truck helping jj get Gina off his truck. “Don’t mention it” he reassured. “Kiss” Gina drunkenly giggled, y/n glared at her. “Sorry she’s a different type of annoying drunk” jj just smiled, they let Gina stumble inside, leaving them alone on the porch. “Thank you” y/n repeated. “Stop thanking me, anyone would’ve done it” she shook her head. “No they wouldn’t, they would’ve laughed and left me to drown” jj shrugged, rubbing his bloody knuckles. “Those look really bad” he laughed. “I’ve had worse” she grabbed his hand, inspecting them. “We should clean them before they get infected or something” he shook his head ready to protest. She grabbed his hand pulling him inside, leading him to the bathroom in the hallway. She grabbed a small bottle of rubbing alcohol and peroxide, soaking cotton pads in them.

“This is gonna really sting” she warned grabbing his left hand. He nodded preparing for the sting, he hissed, his right hand clenched.

She cleaned both hands, placing bandages on the cuts he had. “Now we’re even” he joked with a grin, she gave a small laugh, looking up at him. “Can I ask…um” jj rubbed his neck awkwardly. “Feel free to not answer but… why didn’t you just swim?” He felt stupid. “I don’t know how” she admitted avoiding his eyes. “Oh” she nodded. “I know, I live in the obx, how do I not know how to swim” he shook his head. “I’m not judging just… surprised” she looked at him unsure.

“Is there a reason…?” She shrugged. “Uh, I don’t know… I guess I just always had a a fear of water, drowning mostly” he hummed. “That makes sense, water is not very trustworthy” she smiled. “Exactly!” He laughed, and then, They both got serious, their eyes flickering from their eyes to their lips, jj leaned in, y/n met him in the middle, initiating the kiss, her hands in his hair, his pink bandaid littered hands on her waist.

Gina stumbled into the bathroom pushing past the pair, kneeling by the toilet and vomiting. “Oh god” y/n kneeled down, holding her hair back. “Great way to cockblock me g” she mumbled under her breath. Rubbing her best friends back.

– Definitely would get angry and find a way to fuck the guy up. Not physically harm him. But like, find a way to change his grades, make something up about him, set him up to look like he'd be doing something wrong. Ooorrr, he would get into Peter's head with some lie. Doesn't even have to be a super lie impossible to not believe, the kid blindly follows that guy. If he said the sky's red and grass is purple Peter would believe him.

I'm fond of the idea that Tony would fight Peter instead. "If I hear you're hanging out with this guy again I swear I'll kick you out of my firm in the blink of an eye" "Figured you'd be hanging out with someone like him, it's one of your kind anyway" <- said with the most disgusted face/tone.

– Take his phone away. Kidding lol (maybe not, I kinda like that idea), but would definitely question him a lot and embarrass him. "Got a girlfriend? I'm surprised" "Are you sexting?" "Let me look at your phone" "You're not doing anything inappropriate, are you? That'd be bad" "Don't tell me you have something going on with one of your stupid classmates, Peter." He would also get mad, obviously. He gets mad whenever someone takes Peter attention off of him. What do you mean you're laughing at someone else's joke? You can only laugh because of me, I'm the only one who should make you happy!!

Tony would force Peter to give him his phone to check his messages. He doesn't calms down, not until Peter is sobbing, his face pale and his entire body shaking like a leaf. Then he thinks Peter's had enough and maybe had some sense knocked into his head, so he just says "Get the fuck out of my house."

He talks to Peter after 1 week. Some half ass written apology that makes Tony look like the victim and Peter comes back at him like a dog.

I think it's pretty obvious that I love the idea of an explosive pred!Tony. He'd always put Peter down for talking to anyone besides him before they start dating, he's even jealous of MJ and Ned. He stays the same when they actually start dating. It didn't feel much different before that anyway, and it feels so good to actually own Peter. It's easier to deprive him from talking to anyone else that way, telling him that "A good boyfriend wouldn't do that to his partner. It's like you don't even love me, it's almost cheating." (Peter simply thanked the cashier with a smile).

It's full of manipulation and pressure too. He only gets Peter to stay with threats and twisted words.
