Tumblr media
Biography Raised in communist Österrade, Siegrid was molded by order and decree. Her parents' lives ruled by the word of scripture. Driven to isolation, she spent many years to studying science. Quickly, she showed an aptitude for academics, catching the attention of her enigmatic grandparents. Friendship was nonexistent and her sister Sonja was not much to be desired. Siegrid hid her heart behind a wall and kept her head down. Siegrid spent her teenage years under the wing of her grandfather, who tutored her in advanced academics. Topics that far exceeded her local school. Endless nights were spent pouring over books and documents, many hours were spent preparing Siegrid for the next stage in her life. An era that she could not even remotely predicted. Upon reaching the age of seventeen, Siegrid leaves behind her home to join the Marley's Military research team. A professor in the infant field of nuclear physics, Professor Propov, assigns her as his apprentice. With a small suitcase, she departs on a train for the capital Liberio. Her stomach churns with anxiety. A new, foreign world awaits her. It is here in Marley where her life takes a dramatic turn. Her life becomes entrenched in espionge, complicated relationships and yearning. Siegrid learns she is willing to do anything to get results. No matter the consequence.

"Up Here".

Y/N knew something was wrong when she found a new bench in a deserted room in the catacombs, the last time she was in there, the room was infested with blighted monsters that kept coming no matter how many times Siegrid, Silva, and Ferin killed them. She sent a glance toward her spirits, noticing how the ones that were out looked worried, which she could understand considering the situation they were in. Deciding to take a break before continuing towards the next room, Y/N sat down on the bench in the middle of the room, playing with her necklace, trying to calm herself. She could feel something evil coming from a room nearby, something that put her on high alert, something that hadn’t happened since fighting the Blighted Lord 2 years ago.
Her mind went towards the group she had been traveling with before arriving at Finisterra, would they be okay? She knew that none of them would take well to the amount of corruption her birth land suffered from, so she hoped they were all safe and together, instead of landing alone as she did after walking into the portal (not so alone because of her spirits but still).
Once she felt that she was ready to go against whatever was in the next room, she stood up from the bench, taking off the amulet that disguised her appearance, making her look nowhere like a white priestess, she knew that she would need to purify whatever was in the next room, and that the amulet hiding her real looks also hindered her powers, so there was no need to be using it for now.
Making sure her hair wouldn’t be a problem during whatever was going to happen, she gave a glance towards Siegrid, who at some point had moved from talking to the others to standing near her, looking at her with worry, or as much worry she could show with her eyes being all black. Y/N dismissed her, forcing a smile on her face and nodding, showing that she was fine and they could continue towards the next room.
Stepping into the new room, she could feel the air leave her lungs, the blighted looked like his armor had fused with skin and clothes, clothes that looked like they were barely kept together, clothes and armor that were now stained in blight, a face full of black veins and grey, and at last, a blue scarf she could recognize anywhere, now torn but somehow still wrapped around it’s owner’s neck, the signal of who he was. His hair now looked white and savage, instead of the blond and neat hair she had seen so many times. Warrior’s red and black eyes (they were blue and white, her mind reminded her painfully) turned towards her, blinking slowly before he muttered something she couldn’t hear, mostly because she was still near the entrance of the room, before the door closed violently behind her, Gerrod and Eleine appearing in front of her, ready to fight to protect her.
He launched towards her letting out a cry (of anger or anguish, she didn’t know) his sword raised to attack them. Y/N already knowing what most Bligthed did, quickly moved away, letting Gerrod take the brunt of the hit before Eleine attacked the Captain, while she ran away to give herself a bit of distance, not knowing how the once hero would attack her now that he was corrupted. Taking a deep breath she prepared herself, calling out to Hoenir and Ulv, ready to take down what once was a man she considered like an older brother, but now a monster.
Tumblr media
She stood in front of the blighted body of the captain, looking at him with sadness, she could barely stand up now, having received multiple hits during the battle and being barely able to heal herself, most of her white dress now stained with blood and blight, but nothing like the hero, that now looked worse than at the start, his body having deformed during the battle to the point she couldn’t even recognize him anymore.
Y/N had to cover her mouth to prevent a sob from coming out of her mouth, not wanting to worry the others more than they already were after having to fight Warriors. She extended her hand towards Warrior’s head, barely able to reach his forehead before starting to use her magic, feeling the blight being absorbed by her, freeing the hero's soul from his pain, but also being now bound to her, and with it, his last memory before being corrupted by the blight.
She saw him running, trying to escape from the rain with the other heroes, being separated from them, and how he ended up in the catacombs, the blight starting to take over his body, the painful transformation, and his last moments before being completely corrupted. Once she came back to herself, she heard him talk, finally being able to identify what he had said.
-Thanks, Lil’s……
That damned nickname, he probably heard it from Hoenir and Silva the few times they showed themselves to the heroes. Seeing how the body of her brother became petrified, and how now her body carried more blight in it, she knew her hair probably was stained in blight now, the reason why she needed to use the amulet that gave an illusion of another look, of one that didn’t look like the white priestess she was supposed to be.
Feeling a new spirit being bonded to her she looked at her side, seeing that Warrior’s was now standing next to Ferin, who looked like he would murder him, the Umbral Knight really should stop holding grudges against the other spirits, it wasn’t their fault to end up corrupted and to attack her.
Warriors sent her a grin, she knew that becoming a spirit wasn’t ideal but, at least he was with her again. Letting out a sigh she started to walk back towards the other room to rest, sitting down on the bench and allowing herself to cry in silence. If that’s how she found Warrior’s who at least was able to get some kind of cover in the catacombs, she didn’t want to imagine how she would find her other brothers.

Tony Visconti (w/ Richard Havers): The Autobiography: Bowie, Bolan and the Brooklyn Boy (A Nostalgic Journey Through the Golden Age of British Pop and Rock Music) (2007)
Most record producers and engineers belong behind the studio console, along with their boring stories about mixing levels and button-pushing, but Tony Visconti's exceptionally long and colorful list of superstar credits make him one of the exceptions.
As the title says, Visconti was born and raised in Brooklyn, where his love of music flourished and found its first outlet playing with small-time bands (Ricardo & The Latineers, The Crew-Cuts, etc.) and even releasing a single -- "Long Hair" as Tony and Siegrid with his first wife.
Along the way, Visconti began working for a publisher as staff engineer and met British producer Denny Cordell (The Move, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker, Leon Russell, etc.), who duly invited Visconti to work for him in London.
His first job entailed assisting on the first Tyrannosaurus Rex LP, and after producing (and playing bass for) David Bowie's The Man Who Sold the World, Visconti enjoyed a fruitful relationship with the renamed T.Rex and its leader Marc Bolan (Electric Warrior, The Slider, etc.), until the glam rock pixie scuttled his career prospects by 1974.
But one closed door opened another as Visconti reunited with the post-Ziggy Stardust Bowie for his massively influential Berlin Trilogy (alongside Brian Eno) and 1980's Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps), but these were hardly the sum of his credits.
Because, over the course of the '70s and into the '80s, Visconti built one of rock's most enviable resumes, adding the likes of Badfinger, Osibisa, Sparks, The Moody Blues, The Boomtown Rats, Thin Lizzy, Morrissey, and many others to his bulging professional ledger.
Personally, I'm especially grateful for Visconti's work on behalf of Thin Lizzy, since their albums were decidedly lacking on the production front until the 'Brooklyn Boy' helmed 1977's Bad Reputation, '78's classic Live and Dangerous, and '79's Black Rose.
Visconti's workload lightened in the '90s, so he doesn't even try to disguise his gratitude when Bowie re-engaged him to co-produce Third Millennium LPs like Heathen, Reality, and, after these memoirs' publication date, '13's The Next Day and '16's swan song, Blackstar.
It goes without saying that an updated edition of Visconti's story covering David's final works would be welcomed with open arms, since there are obviously precious few living collaborators who shared so many creative experiences with rock's great chameleon.
And there is obviously only one producer who rode a white swan with Bolan, sold the world with Bowie, and worked with as many diverse and intriguing artists as did Tony Visconti.
Featured Records:
T.Rex: The Slider (1972)
David Bowie: Low (1977)
Thin Lizzy: Bad Reputation (1977)

Oh, cuánto extraño a mi querido amigo. Feliz cumpleaños celestial David".

✨Memorabilia✨
