Further to my previous post, and with the knowledge that I haven't checked out the All Creatures Great and Small tag on here for fear of spoilers, and I've only watched as far as S4E3...

Maybe it's just me, and even with the fact that Audrey and Gerald are dating, but I'm totally in the slow-burn Siegfried x Audrey ship camp 😂😍🤞

My favourite period drama stereotype:

Socially awkward, blunt, introverted man yet wears his heart on his sleeve who falls in love with the extroverted, humble, loyal, kindhearted woman.

I'll eat it up everytime.

What if the reason Siegfried never finds anything is because *hear me out* Audrey is indeed moving his things around, fooling us all, or hiding them and then miraculously locating them for him.

And in the end we discover there's been indeed a villain in ACGAS all along 😈

I love the entire show so much but I keep coming back to the last episode of series 04. There’s just so much repression and grief and love coming out of every pore of these two.

She knows he wants her to be happy. She sees Siegfried’s efforts to make her departure as painless as possible for what they are. He’s trying so so hard to not show her how utterly devastated he is. She sees right through it, as she always does.

And I love-LOOOOOVE that Audrey thinks immediately of Mr. Farnon when Helen fears for her baby’s life. Though she might not know why yet, she only has eyes for him. The minute he finds the unborn child’s beating heart, Mrs. Hall finds her own.
