Halo! I saw the boy and the Heron today and it was amazing!

Not big spoiler but I haven't seen anyone talking about the Dante's Divina Commedia reference, and since in this household we don't gatekeep symbolism here some stuff (I didn't put too much effort on it, just what I recall from highschool, but if you're curious you can search about it ;)

When Mahito and Kiriko follow the heron inside the tower, we see them enter from this door. On top of it, is written "facemi la divina potestate (I've been made by the divine father=god), and this is a part of the quote written on the hell's gate in the third canto of Inferno:

"Per me si va ne la città dolente,

So I Watched Bucchigiri?!... (My Review)

(Before you proceed, I'll assume you watched the show but honestly you can still read it since i will limit the spoilers for those who want to watch the show)

1.First Impression/Why did i Watched it?

Youtube Ad victim (yes you read that right), the clip showing a mixture of throwing hands and humour looked interesting and fun.

(this crunchyroll ad above) IM NOT GONNA LIE, I 100% WATCHED THIS SHOW BECAUSE OF OUTA TAHIDE'S FINE ASS IN THE AD (CLICKBAIT VICTIM).

2. Story (5/10)

Laconic: A Red Aladdin style genie demon have a 300 year old beef with his blue boyfriend so now a lame loser high schooler maxs his stats and have to fight but dont get it twisted CORN ADDICITON WILL PREVAIL!

ehhh... Trashcan come to the podium. The biggest issue of this show are the plot points & certain characters motivations/personalities (ehum, Arajin. Ehum, Mahoro). Some are gear grinding when they appeared on screen. I'm not gonna dig too deep but the story sounds good on paper but when you add the unsufferabble MC, everything falls down the drains (Matakara should have been the MC).

I understand this is supposed to be a funny show but some tropes fall flat and are aggravating at best. Honestly Arajin & Mahoro are eating up most of the points for this categorie (get the lame simpery and mincest out of here). Other characters and the storyline as a whole did their thing regardless of the cliché they carried BUT ITS HARD LOOKING PAST THE BAD.

3. Characters (9/10) (THE BEST PART)

Before diving deeper, Bucchigiri is a mid show with AMAZING & GREATLY DESIGNED CHARACTERS. Aside from my thirst for Outa, I've looked up other characters before watching the show anf their designs are really good (MAPPA delivered). Which is why i'm disappointed to see them mishandled like that.

Also y'all couldnt have another female character to balance out Mahoro? (please omfg)

JABASHIRI (RIGHT): So this is where Zabuza went after dying... Justified Hater of the MC (i stan with him) btw bro a hard head makes a soft ass... THEY ARE MY FAVOURITE DUO I CANT LIE (or ship i guess).

4. Watching Experience (5/10)

Yall know i will never complain about a 12 episodes anime (shout out to GANGSTA) but this serie would have benifited from more episodes with the story it was trying to go for. Because it really gave EASILY FORGIVEN and lets all dance around the campfire (wait arent yall opposite gangs or we dropping it and merging together?!.)

Like ive said the MC slowed down the watching experience because i had to actually leave and come back to later due to being so pissed off.

5. Do I Recommend?

As crazy as it sounds, i do recommend it. the 12 episodes will not take too much of your time and these characters a worthy of being love and appriciated to the fullest (the fanart is kinda dry).

In a way this series is a win for me regardless my complaints because the fights are cool as hell and its really showed me how to make great characters regardless the setting. I can see how this show could be a banger to others and it definetly can.

Cursed to be ticklish

(So everyone seems to like my "laugh some more, ringleader" and I just watched the recent JJK episode. There's no spoilers in here, don't worry.)

The disaster curses were relaxing under the hot sun in Dagon's domain. Mahito was going on about something stupid called "tickling"

Hanami intrigued by this, Geto seemed nonchalant about this topic, Dagon was swimming, and Jogo was zoning out while smoking a pipe.

"Hey Jogo! Jogo! Hey!" Mahito tried getting Jogo's attention, eventually having to smack him "ack!- what!?" Jogo exclaimed, finally turning back to look at Mahito and the others."We were just talking about where we think we'd be most ticklish!" Mahito said with glee. Jogo gave a cringe scowl at Mahito "that's stupid, shouldn't we be talking about how to get Sukuna on our si-" before Jogo could finish, Mahito interrupted him.

"Personally, I think your ticklish spot is the volcano on your head!" Mahito exclaimed, whilst pointing at Jogo's volcano on the top of his head. Geto giggled and joined in on the conversation "well, maybe that would make a little sense~"

Jogo, visibly annoyed, scowled at both Geto and Mahito "that's stupid, it's a literal rock on my head- how would that be ticklish?!" He asked in an annoyed manner. Mahito then though for a bit, while making a small humming noise "I've got it!" Geto suddenly spoke up.

"Your sides." Geto snapped his fingers and pointed towards Jogo's ribs. Jogo shrugged "eh, maybe..never been tickled before.."

All of a sudden, Geto popped up in front of Jogo "then why don't we change that~?" He teased, wiggling his fingers in front of Jogo's face. Jogo flinched and leaned back in his beach chair.

"Watch and observe you two~" Geto said, whilst turning his head towards the others. When Geto turned back, Jogo was gone! "Hehe...Jogo~ we both know I know this domain better then Dagon himself~"

Jogo breathed heavily, as he behind one of the palm trees "Phew...that was close.." he whispered to himself "not close enough~" Geto suddenly appeared in front of him. Jogo yelped and tried getting up, but instantly, Geto pounced on him.

They both fell onto the sand, with Geto on top of Jogo. "Geto, wait!- gahahaha!!" Jogo bursted out laughing, as Geto tickled his sides and stomach.

"I wanna join too!" Mahito shouted, he jumped up from his seat and kneeled near Geto "nohoh! Do- don't help him! You- hahaha- you f#ck!!" Jogo yelled with laughter. Geto snickered and held Jogo's hands over his head, creating a clear opening of his underarms.

Mahito giggled and began tickling Jogo's underarms "Isn't this fun, Jogo?!" He exclaimed with a cheeky smile on his face. Geto then saw a window of opportunity when he noticed Jogo flailing his legs "Mahito, keep hold of his hands for me!"

Geto then took hold of Jogo's legs and started dragging his fingernails along his feet. Once he did this, Jogo yelled with laughter and he then shouted "H- HOLY SH#T! STAHPHAHAHA!" Geto chuckled with amusement and replied "I dunno, Jogo~ maybe ask us nicely and we will~" he teased.

Jogo couldn't even speak at this point, his whole body was heating up and turning red "pl-hahaha- please! Stahpahaha!! Ma-make it- hahhaha- stop!!" He begged. Geto smiled and looked at Mahito "mmh...got that out quicker than I thought..should we, Mahito?" Geto asked. Mahito instantly shook his head "nope! I didn't really hear him!" Mahito snickered and continued tickling around Jogo's stomach, sides, underarms, and hips.

"Plea-hahahha!!- please stop! Hahah!!" Jogo exclaimed and finally he was let go "Alright, I guess that's enough...for now.." Mahito chuckled. Geto then dusted himself off "So, what do you think of tickling now ,Jogo-" Before Geto could finish. A fist full of sand was thrown into his face "F#ck you both.."

Y no ayudo que tú familia consideraba estás "alucinaciones" como un tipo de "acoso del diablo" o un signo de que estabas siendo "maldecida por una entidad superior", lo cual te hizo blanco de mucha discriminación en tu iglesia local.

Aunque al menos tu padre trato de mantenerse de tu lado, era el único de tu familia que parecía tomar más en cuenta lo que decía sin descartarlo.

Gracias a esto, pese a todo, pudiste ser una joven bastante amigable y gentil, pero de un Si muy fácil para los demás.

Aún si eras buena en varias áreas, ya tenías planes de en el futuro seguir los pasos de tu padre y unirte a la iglesia.

Claramente eso no pasó.

Aquí es donde entra tu habilidad maldita de nuevo, digamos que mientras más crecias, más te diste cuenta de que ciertas cosas alejaban a las "maldiciones" por lo que pudiste estar más tranquila.

Eso hasta que en una ocasión una maldición salto encima tuyo y te lastimo lo suficiente como para probar sangre.

Y viste como la maldición se hizo MAS GRANDE.

Aún si te fuiste, este incidente ocasióno que una horda de maldiciónes intentara acercarse a ti día tras día. A veces de forma lenta y sutil mientras no mirabas, otras veces como el caso anterior en el que iban directamente a hacerte daño. Todo con tal de tener más sangre y, por lo mismo, más poder.

Kenjaku eventualmente descubrió esto y le pareció intrigante cuánto menos, y puede que inspirado por el incidente de Mahito con Junpei, decidió que sería buena idea traerte a bordo, ya que podrías servir como un potenciador andante y mejorar las habilidades de todos.

Aunque espero el momento preciso para hacerlo, que fue cuando una maldición especialmente grande y repugnante te había secuestrado para chuparte la sangre..

Ahora, tu no interactuabas con casi ninguno de los miembros del grupo de maldiciones, Daegon rara vez hablaba contigo, Jogo era aterrador y mal hablado, Hanami era agradable pero reservada, Mahito...es Mahito. Y en general solo interactuabas o con "Geto" o con Choso.

¿Siendo honestos? Al principio pensarte que Choso era aterrador de forma similar a Jogo. Justamente porque era muy reservado y callado.

Aunque siendo justos, probablemente el estaba igualmente algo intimidado por ti, no por ser hostil, sino todo lo contrario, el no estaba acostumbrado a una...persona normal. Por decir lo menos.

No entendías bien porque era tan distante hasta que supiste que sus hermanos menores habían sido asesinados por hechiceros.

Aún si no conocías a Choso, hiciste lo que era respetuoso y mostraste tus condolencias. Al principio Choso no lo entendió, pero cuando le explicaste, se sintió algo confundido

El nunca fue malo ni hostil contigo, lo cual ya fue extraño considerando los...personajes que eran sus compañeros. Por lo que le devolviste el favor. Era agradable estar con el después de un tiempo.

Eventualmente el empezó a acostumbrasre a tu presencia ¡incluso haciéndote conversación! Conociéndose los unos a los otros. Se sintió...seguro contigo, Choso pudo ver que eras MUCHO más inocente y honesta que el resto del grupo, quería preservar eso, en cierta forma.

Gracias a esto, también empezó a generar cierta dinámica entre ustedes dos, Choso empezó a querer protegerte. Por dar algún ejemplo, había veces en las que "Geto" te enviaría a misiones menores para que tuvieras experiencia, pues Choso iría contigo, sin peros.

Si alguien preguntaba porque Choso hacia esto el solo diría que era porque eras muy útil para dejar que murieras, aunque todos se daban cuenta de porque realmente lo hacía(Mahito se encargaba de burlarse de él).

Definitivamente Choso te ha preguntado cosas sobre humanos para entenderlos mejor, aunque a veces se termina distrayendo simplemente escuchandote hablar😅 así que asegúrate de que realmente este escuchando.

Realmente Choso no se da cuenta cuando empieza a tratarte de forma diferente a cuando te considera una amiga, justamente por su poco conocimiento de las relaciones humanas, claro, le explicaste como funcionaban de forma básica y "normal", pero tú relación con el está lejos de ser "Normal".

Aún así, si estás bien con eso, se muestra más abiertamente cariñoso, es algo normal para el, cuando están esperando por "Geto" se queda contigo abrazados, de queda a tu lado, te agarra la mano en lugares abiertos, etc.

Si hablamos de términos más avanzados de relación, es un amor.

Primero que nada, Choso NUNCA usaría tu habilidad Maldita a su favor, como NUNCA, el cree que sería abusivo e incluso uns traición a tu confianza, porque es un proceso doloroso el sacarte sangre. Incluso si la necesitara, el se niega. Simplemente no.

Y definitivamente te protege de Mahito en ese sentido, que tiene una fascinación enferma con tu habilidad y cada vez que van a misiones juntos te usa de saco de sangre.

Afortunadamente para ti y desafortunadamente para el, cuando esto pasa se encuentra con un Choso MUY enojado y listo para pelear por tu honor. Jogo, Hanami y "Geto" solo le dejan desquitarse.

Aunque tambien lo veo tratando de no ser tan brutal en las misiones a las que va contigo, simplemente por lo que dije arriba, no le gusta la idea de que pierdas la poca inocencia que tienes, digo, eres de los pocos de aquí que REALMENTE es un humano. No dejará que pierdas eso.

Las demás maldiciones han aprendido a ser amables contigo después de este tipo de incidentes, ya sea por ver cómo le parte la madre a Mahito o por las miradas OSCURAS que les da Choso cuando estás cerca de ellos.

Cuando pasa el desmadre de Shibuya, Choso quiere-no, EXIGE que Yuji te conozca, y por tu tipo de personalidad, es natural que ustedes dos se lleven bien. Dejando a Choso muy, muy feliz. Aunque definitivamente estabas confundida cuando te dijo que el chico que estaba tan determinado a matar en realidad era su hermano menor perdido.

Ya estando en una situación más de confianza, Choso se abriría más sobre lo que piensa de su padre y su familia en general, por lo que pueden compartir sus ✨malas experiencias familiares✨

Si llegas a hacer que Choso conozca a tu padre, el hombre está ENCANTADO con el señor, más que nada porque es todo lo que Kenjaku nunca fue. Definitivamente quiere ver tus fotos de bebé, porfavor déjale ver tus fotos de bebé.

(canon, a Yui le gusta cocinar) si quieres que el pruebe alguna de tus comidas ¡Lo hace con gusto!(creo que especialmente le gustaría las comidas que ve en sus recuerdos falsos, corazonada, si le haces una de esas, muere feliz).

Sigue siendo protector, incluso más que antes. No solo por tu extraña técnica ritual, sino también porque es conciente de que Kenjaku podría intentar ir tras de ti para usarte como herramienta en su plan o peor.

Gracias a esto, espera a un Choso aún más pegajoso que antes si eso era posible.

Definitivamente puedo verlo a la defensiva si los Hechiceros quieres usar tu sangre para hacer potenciadores de energía Maldita, se suponía que habían venido con ellos para evitar esto ¿¿Que diablos??

No creo que te detenga si decides cooperar con eso, es por el bien mayor, lo entiende, pero Choso no quiere que lo hagas porque crees que no tienes un DECIR en la situación.

En todo caso siempre te ofrece una mano si te asustas a la hora de sacar sangre.

Aparte de un hombro para llorar si los recuerdos de los incidentes con maldiciónes vuelven con mucha fuerza. El hombre tiene 9 hermanos menores, es el REY DEL COMFORT. Abrazos, palmaditas en la espalda, palabras de afirmación, lo que necesites en ese momento, el lo sabe.

Confía en muy poca gente para protegerte cuando el no está, pero si tuviera que hacerlo, serían Yuji(obvio) y talvez, Yuki(la mayores Shipper de ustedes dos).

Choso está bien con que no puedas pelear sinceramente, sabe que hay rituales malditos que más que ofensivo son defensivos y alrevez, no te culparía por tu incapacidad física(menos teniendo en cuenta que por tu tiempo con Mahito, probablemente tengas algún problema de Anemia).

Muchos paseos a caballito. Muchos.

Al menos hasta que te recuperes por completo de la anemia. El nisiquiera sabe lo que es pero no le importa ¡te vas a cuidar en su guardia!

En general, Choso es un amorcito suave con una pareja igual de suave❤️

Set after Shibuya but imagine like most of that DIDNT happen Gojo is good, Yuji took control back from Sukuna faster than expected and Nanami and Nobara are uninjured.

There was a gun to his head.

A gun to his head while water slowly rose around him-them.

“Want to tell me why you’re in Yokohama?” A woman… something cold shuddered through him, there was so much power in those words alone… cursed speech? Just her energy? “Don’t lie to me.”

“I’m here with the Jujutsu Sorcerers from Tokyo.” He stated without another thought. “Satoru Gojo can vouch for me.”

The pressure of the gun pressed against his skull lessened slightly but it was clear she didn’t trust him. Not when they were alone underground with sea water rising slowly.

“The hell are you?”

“I’m half human, half curse.” The truth fell from his lips faster than he could stop it.

At least she finally pulled the gun away, the water that had been slowly rising seemed to falter as well.

“I’d ask how that’s possible but I don’t want to know.” She said with a laugh. “I can’t say shit I’m not exactly normal either I suppose.”

Choso turned… and had to look down.

Down at the woman who barely reached his collarbone and who was still very much holding her gun- though he had no idea if it was a weapon embued with cursed energy or not… her presence was startling enough.

“What do you mean?” He asks. “Because you have cursed energy?”

“Yes and no.” She shrugged. “Anyway you didn’t answer my question- why are you in Yokohama?”

“Gojo and the others are convinced Mahito and Geto are hiding here.” Choso frowned.

“They wouldn’t be in the port then- all the curses here report in when a new curse shows- it’s how I knew where you were before you ask.”

“The curses report in?” He’d never heard of that before.

“So long as they don’t kill innocents or children we don’t care what they do and they seem to appreciate it.” She shrugged again.

A stray thought passed his mind, Jogo would have liked Yokohama if he’d known this. Choso pushed that thought away- Jogo was dead, Sukuna had killed him after force feeding Yuji ten fingers.

If Choso hadn’t left Yuji after a flux of memories come forward he wouldn’t have been taken over… thankfully Yuji adapted quickly and there was no major casualties par Jogo and those human sisters Geto (Kenjaku) had kept around.

“Tokyo and Kyoto don’t seem to have thought about that.” Choso states instead.

“The higher ups are old fucks who only care about their image.” Her nose scrunches up in an adorable way… adorable? “I’m Higuchi by the way.”

He blinks, surprised by the change in attitude towards him.

“Choso.” He replies instead. “Is Higuchi your surname?”

“Yeah. I kind of have two first names for different workplaces.” She grins before snapping her head towards the tunnel ahead of them. “We should head back before the sea water fills this place up.”

“Two? Sounds confusing.” He said as they both turned to walk back the way they came.

It was weird, how easy the conversation suddenly felt considering she had just had a gun to his head.

“Eh sometimes- more for people who know about both but it also keeps unwanted attention from both sides.”

“Ah.” He stalls for a second before asking. “You uh switched your attitude towards me quite fast?”

“You told me the truth.” She said like it was all the answer he needed.

“I did but… oh I did answer before I really thought about it, is that your cursed technique?”

“Nope. And I suggest we speed up or I’ll actually have to use my CT.”

She was fast.

Maybe it was because she was wearing pants versus his robes but still- she’d reached the entrance and heaved open the door before he could even attempt to open it for them.

The door shut behind them with a loud clang and thud.

“Big sis!” A voice called from across the way where a car sat, humming quietly.

“Ah shit I forgot he was here.” She tutted. “Tell Gojo that if those Curses have managed to sneak into Yokohama his best bets would be the old warehouses along the port not the tunnels.”

“Thank you… Higuchi. I’ll let him know.” His mouth went dry for a moment as he looked her over properly, the dim tunnel lights not having done her service at all.

Pretty golden blonde hair, brown eyes that had a hint of amber while the fading sun shone by them and a definitely far more healthy complexion than his own.

“Be there in a sec Tachihara!” She yelled over at him, noticing that he began to creep their way.

So not a blood related sibling then.

“Where might I-we get in contact with you? While we’re still in Yokohama I mean.” He said quickly.

“Gojo and Nanami should have mine and Mori’s information since we’re the main sorcerers here. Otherwise I work at the Port Mafia if there’s any emergencies ask for Ichiyo Higuchi.”

“We’ll alert you to anything we find.”

“Good I’d appreciate it. I don’t like when shit fucks with my city.” She grinned. “I gotta go. See ya Choso.”

“Goodbye.”

Was it embarrassing to admit he wanted to know more about this woman? Perhaps Yuji would understand why she had intrigued him without telling him much at all.
