#shuto con 2016

Really excited to go to Shuto again! Last year was a blast (it really made up for 2016 bc stuff) and I hope this year's con is gonna be fun too!! :^) I'll be cosplaying as Tegiri from Hiveswap and Terezi from Homestuck. Hella pumped to get those cosplays finished soon and I'll post them when they both get finished. :>

Sailor Moon was someone I wanted to cosplay since 2015. The thing is I had a hard time making the cosplay. The rolls to the skirt was really difficult for me. My first attempt was a failure but I didn't let it stop me. I finally completed it in 2016 when I tried to make it again. I was so happy when I was done. I achieved making the skirt rolls and was able to put my own twist on the hair. I gave her afro puff ponytails to give the cosplay an afro centric vibe.

Anime Central 2016 was my first Acen ever. I loved it. It was so big and amazing. There were so many different cosplays. I decided to do Sailor Moon because she was my newest cosplay. I only did her once before at Shuto Con. Since Acen was new for me, why not bring my newest cosplay! The reactions at Acen were great. I got nothing but love and support from Acen.

New Year, New Cosplays!

These are some of the new cosplays I am planning for 2016! Most of these are already in progress. Also, Ann and Persona 5 are gonna be at pretty much every con I attend in celebration of the P5 English release <3 

Cindy Aurum (In Progress)

Possible cons: Shuto Con 2017, Midwest Media 2017, and Colossalcon 2017 :D Also, any summer cons would be suitable. Like Ann, this cosplay is going to be a big step in self confidence and being more comfortable with myself. She’s also my favorite female character in FFXV and she’s a smart, loveable character!

Corrin (In Progress!)

I can’t wait to cosplay Corrin. A decent costume was on sale, so I def wanna cosplay my MC! <3

Junko Enoshima (In Progress)

I was told I’d make a good Junko! I’m making my own original design for a rave and will be wearing her regular outfit as well :D

In celebration of NDRV3, I will be cosplaying the MC! I already know I will love her!!

Nozomi Tojo (Seven Lucky Gods)

I was invited to a Love Live cosplay group and will order this when I get a job!

Tentative Shuto Con 2016 lineup! I know it’s a few months away, but I got a pretty good idea of what I want to do for it!

does anyone remember at the Weirdmageddon panel at Shuto con, when they were talking about what kind of Dorito Bill is, to which Bill says “I’m not Peridot” and they discuss for a 1/2 minute with an audience member and Ford says Bill’s “More of a (some fucking science word I don’t remember and did not hear in the moment) tortilla chip” and everyone went “OOOOHHHHHHH!” and Ford just gave a bothered/confused look and was like “I wasn’t burning Bill??? It’s a true statement???”

Can anyone remember what the Ford cosplayer said. That was one of my fav scenes at the panel, and I can’t even remember the transcript
