Wing Beifong x OC / Part 1
Before this starts, you should know a few things about my OC.
Her name is Kana Soshi. She is an earthbender and is blind in her left eye, Lin taught her seismic sense, she is unable to metalbend. Has helped Lin out at the Republic City police department before and considers her as somewhat of a mother figure. She’s known Bolin and Mako for a long time and she met Korra and Asami through them, Bolin is her best friend.
Yes, I know that some of the events are out of order, I didn’t feel like rewatching the episode. But without further ado, here is part 1!
Wordcount; 5,203
“So are we sure there’s an airbender in Zaofu?” Kana asked as she leaned against the cool metal of the airship they’re currently flying in, she would have much rather been on the ground where her Earthbending and seismic sense were of use to her. Even though she could use seismic sense, she could not metal bend, and that made being on this airship insufferable, not being able to combine metal bending with her seismic sense could not have been more infuriating to her. “Yes, Kana, we’re positive that there will be an airbender there.” Korra said as she and the rest of Team Avatar sat around the area.
Kana absentmindedly stared off at nowhere while she played with a strand of her brown hair. One of her green eyes had a certain gloss over it, a tell-tell sign that she was blind in one eye, she was glad to have her seismic sense for that reason as when in battle her eyesight was often a hindrance in her ability to fight and know where and who she was aiming at.
Constantly, Bolin would ask Kana to teach him, and every time she tried, he could never seem to get it down. But that didn’t discourage him and that made her happy that he had such a strong spirit. So when they landed in Zaofu, a little bit of her detested the fact half the city was made of metal, but she quickly forgot that as her bare feet touched the ground. “Finally, my bending can be of some use to me.” Kana smiled as Bolin came up next to her, putting his arm around her, “C’mon, Kana, being on the airship wasn’t that bad!” He mentioned, “But when most of your sight and bending depend on being on the ground, I would rather have blown up that airship.” She pouted to her best friend.
“Hello! Welcome to Zaofu, home of the metal clan.” A gray haired woman said as she came out to greet them. “I’m Suyin Beifong, the matriarch of the clan.” She smiled at everyone. Kana smirked to herself, realizing now why Chief Beifong wanted to stay on the airship. She figured Lin might have some bad blood with her family in Zaofu. As everyone walked, they met Opal, she was the airbender. “Pleasure to meet you Opal!” Kana said happily as Suyin led them all away and towards an arena type place. It had large metal columns placed in it and it was placed deeper into the ground than where the group stood. “Those are my two youngest, Wei and Wing. They’re playing a game called power disc. Came up with the game themselves.” She told each of them as they watched the boys bend a metal disc at each other and hit the columns. That continued back and forth until one of them missed the disc and it flew into the net behind the raven haired boy, a bright red light lit up and a buzzer was heard, “And Wing goes down!” Shouted the boy, whom Kana could assume was Wei.
Her sight lingered on Wing a little longer than she would let on. Suyin turned to her and Bolin, “Do you two metalbend? The boys would be happy to teach you power disc.” Her smile fell as both of them shook their heads, “We don’t, but Kana here uses seismic sense!” Bolin boasted for her, Kana sheepishly rubbed her arm as Suyin smiled at her, “Well that's wonderful to hear, I’m sure you would love to learn to metalbend, we can teach you.” She offered. “Oh, I only use my seismic sense to help me see because I’m blind in one eye, I’ve tried metalbending before, it's never worked for me.” Kana sighed as she saw the look of pity from Suyin, she hated people knowing about her sight problem, she hated the looks of pity anyone would give her once they found out, she despised that everyone would dote on her once they knew.
Thankfully, Su’s advisor came up and whispered something in Suyin’s ear that made her eyes widen. “Avatar Korra, why did you lie about this being the only people you had with you?” She questioned as everyone’s eyes went wide. Kana knew she was talking about Lin, she watched in amusement as Korra and everyone else stuttered over their words. “Well, you see, our chief of police didn’t want everyone to know she was here and asked us not to tell. But since the secret is out, I guess Chief Beifong is gonna have to deal with it.” At Kana’s words, Suyin’s eyes widened, “Lin’s here? Well I would love to see her.” She said, leaving everyone all confused. She had stopped paying attention to Su’s words as her eyes went back to the playing arena, Landing on the two twins playing another game of power disc, not noticing everyone was heading inside until Bolin pulled her away.
At the dinner table, Kana sat in between Bolin and Asami. She loved Asami, she was her greatest friend other than Bolin, though Kana hated how she always tried to convince her to wear shoes, to which Kana would always tell her no and end the conversation at that. It didn’t fail to happen that night either as everyone was preparing for dinner.
“Come on, Kana! It's just for an hour at least!” Asami pleaded as she held a pair of flats in her face, pushing them away Kana gave Asami an exasperated look, “How many times do I have to tell you no? I don’t like shoes, they mess with my seismic sense!” She told her as she gave a sigh, knowing Kana wasn’t going to ever change her mind about shoes.
So there they sat, at a fancy table with the Beifong family eating the fancy dish that their chef prepared, she didn’t bother to remember the name of the dish. Kana looked to the head of the table as Suyin cleared her throat and addressed her. “So, Kana, how did you come to learn seismic sense?” She asked, Kana noticed that the entire Beifong family had their attention on her, “Well, Chief Beifong taught me after the accident that caused me to go blind in my left eye.” She said shortly, placing her fork down on her plate. That caught the twins attention, as well as Suyin’s, “If you don’t mind me asking,” Kana knew where this question was going, “How exactly did you become blind in that eye?” she asked, she and everyone else seemed to genuinely want to know, any time some one would ask, Kana would brush them off. But this was the matriarch of the metal clan, and she did not want to disappoint her.
So Kana let a heavy sigh leave her mouth before speaking, “Back when I was 12, I got caught in the middle of a turf war between the triple threats and some other gang. I was suppoesed to be with Li- Chief Beifong but I was dumb and slipped away from her as soon as I got the chance to explore.” She took a breath before continuing, everyone was paying close attention. “While I was looking at some stuff I realised that some triple threats and other thugs were fighting each other, next thing I knew, some stray ice shard from a waterbender hit me in the eye, and that's when Chief Beifong got there and saw me, she took care of the gangs and later healers said that they could not repair the damage done to my eye. At first I was able to see out of it just barely, but over time the sight completely left my eye.” She said, running a gentle finger over the skin around her eye as Kana stared down at the table, everyone had a solemn look on their faces, Bolin placed his hand on her shoulder while Asami did the same with the other shoulder. Silently Kana stood from the table and cleared her throat, “I’m going to turn in for the night.” She said and quietly left to her room for the time being. As she shut the door, Kana placed herself on the floor and let a gentle sob escape her throat.
Losing her sight had really impacted Kana, and everyone in the dining room could tell. Asami sighed, “I see why she hates wearing shoes now.” Trying to lighten the mood, “You know, this is the first time she’s talked about the accident since it first happened.” A voice said from the doorway, everyone looked over and was surprised to see Lin even after she had stormed out earlier on during dinner. “ What do you mean?” Wing asked as he looked at his aunt, “Exactly what I just said, losing her sight in that eye was very traumatic for her, she had nightmares for weeks afterwards.” Lin told them, everyone's eyes softened and Lin scoffed. “You all act like it affects you too, Kana is a tough young woman, I taught her seismic sense so she could still kick ass when she helped me out at the police station. She was more angry than sad about losing her sight, also, she despises anyone giving her pity. So if you’re gonna do that any time you’re around her then don’t bother speaking to her.” Lin said as she walked back out of the room. “Remember when we fought Amon? Kana really did beat some equalist ass!” Korra laughed as the rest of the team avatar laughed along with her. “I felt so bad when Amon took her bending, but she showed us she didn’t need her bending to fight Amon.” Asami said and they all agreed.
“Oh! Oh! Remember when she threw Unalaq in the air with a pillar of rock? He screamed like a little girl when she was in his face right after he hit the ground!” Bolin laughed loudly, Korra butted in, “And when she punched him in the face for being annoying! She did the same thing to councilman Tarrlok.” She laughed. Everyone at the table had begun laughing at the stories of Kana not giving a shit about who she was beating up.
Wing’s heart fluttered when he heard the stories about her, Kana really seemed like a cool person and he wanted so desperately to get to know her better.
Later that night as he and Wei were preparing to sleep, Wing decided to ask his twin a question, “Hey, Wei?” He began, “Yes, Wing?” Wei responded. “What do you think about Kana?” Wing asked as he set his metal cuffs on his dresser. “Think of her in what way? She seems like a very determined person and I think that’s admirable about her.” Wei told his twin as he sat himself on his bed, “I mean, yeah you’re right about that, but I don’t know.. I get butterflies around her, and hearing all those stories about her just invested me more, what should I do?” Wing ranted as he fell onto his own bed with a deep sigh. A chuckle escaped Wei’s lips, “Seems like you have a crush, Wing. But if you really want something between the two of you, I’d do something before she and the rest of her group leave Zaofu.” Wei advised, Wing nodded his head, thinking deeply.
It was true that Kana, along with everyone else she came with, plus Opal, were going to have to leave at some point to continue the search for more airbenders. So many thoughts clouded Wing’s mind as he tried to think of what he would do. Kana seemed like an angel to him, but he hadn’t even spoken to her once! How was he going to become closer to her if he hadn’t ever spoken to her or introduced himself. Wing couldn’t help the yawn that escaped his mouth, his exhausted state of mind could barely let him think straight. He would deal with his feelings and thoughts in the morning. With that, everyone in the Beifong estate was peacefully asleep.
Sadly, that peace hadn’t lasted long for a certain earthbending girl. Kana bolted up in her bed in a cold sweat, “It was just a nightmare, one I haven’t had since I was younger.” She mumbled to herself as she lifted her body from the emerald green sheets of the bed. She placed her head in her hands and she took deep breaths. “I need some fresh air.” Kana told herself as she stood up and headed towards the door. Opening it, she checked if there were guards around, once she made sure there was none she walked from her room and towards the garden of the Beifong estate. Once outside she let out a breath of relief and sat on the steps in front of the door.
“Can’t sleep?” The voice startled Kana as she wasn’t paying attention to her sense. Turning she saw one of the twins, “Uh, yeah. Rough night.” Kana looked away, she’d be lying if she said she knew which twin he was. “Wanna talk about it?” Wing asked her as he took a seat on the steps, Kana shook her head. “No, but I could use a distraction,” She started, “But first, I’m still not good with telling you twins apart, mind telling me?” Kana gave a sheepish smile to Wing as he laughed, “Yeah, I can help with that, and I’m Wing.” He told her as he stood from the steps and offered a hand to her. Taking it, Kana was surprised at how effortlessly he pulled her up. Wing’s heart fluttered once more as she grabbed his hand, her small hands were cold from the night air but he was disappointed when she pulled her hand from his. “So what's this ‘distraction’ you got for me?” Kana raised an eyebrow at Wing, he smirked and grabbed her hand once again.
Wing pulled her up to one of the metal covers that surrounded the estate, he metalbended an opening large enough to fit through and once both of them were on the other side Wing bended the metal back into place. He continued pulling Kana up a hill where there was a small cliff face, they could see the entirety of Zaofu, “Wow, Wing this is amazing.” Kana said as she sat down with Wing on the grass and looked out at the city, it was even more stunning at night. “Yeah, I found it a while back. I come here every time I need a distraction or to just clear my thoughts.” Wing said as he looked over at the brown haired girl that sat next to him, admiring the city. Wing took the moment to really study the girl beside him, taking in little details like how her short hair would flow with every breeze and the way the moonlight reflected in her eyes, the small smile placed on her lips as she closed her eyes. Kana looked at peace, and Wing was thoroughly enjoying the look. Then she opened her eyes and looked at him, Wing blushed as he’d been caught staring, “We should get back to the estate, we don’t want anyone finding out we’re gone and getting worried.” Kana told him, ignoring his stare as she stood up and pulled him up with her.
They walked down the hill in silence until they got back to the steps in front of the garden, “Wing,” Kana put her hand on Wing’s shoulder before he left to go inside, “Thank you for tonight. It means a lot.” She told him as she walked passed and back to her room. Wing stood there, a blush on his face and a hand on the shoulder that she touched. He walked back to his and Wei’s room in a daze and held a stupid grin for the rest of the night until he fell asleep. Kana had a peaceful sleep for the rest of the night, glad that she had spent some time with Wing to clear her head.
The next morning, Kana sat on the steps as she watched the twins spar with Korra and Bolin, well spar wasn’t the right word for Bolin. “I can’t believe I’m sparring with the Avatar!” Wing said excitedly after he tangled Korra in her own cables, the same couldn’t be said for Wei, “I can’t believe I’m stuck with her friend.” Wei complained, Bolin tried to bend the meteorite at Wei but it fell from his hands, “Hold on I got it,” Bolin tried, “Don’t got it.” He slumped over, Kana gave an encouraging smile, “Don’t worry, Bo, you’ll get it eventually.” She offered him a thumbs up and he smiled, but that quickly turned to horror as he dodged metal being thrown at him by Wei, “Trial by fire, best way to learn!” Wei claimed as he continued shooting at Bolin, finally Bolin picked up a small rock and bended it at Wei, hitting him in the forehead just as Mako and Asami showed up. “Nice shot little bro, but I thought this was supposed to be metalbending?” Mako asked as Wei agreed while rubbing the spot the rock hit, “Yeah, cheater.” Wei grumbled. “Listen, Mako, metalbending is extremely hard! Only 1 in 100 earthbenders can metalbend.” Bolin stated before everyone turned to Kora as she took Wing down with some metal, proceeding to jump in the air, “Woohoo! Metalbending champion!” She exclaimed, bringing her arms up to show off her well toned muscles. Bolin gave a comical look, “She’s the Avatar, that doesn’t count!” He stated, Kana giggled at how Bolin was acting.
“You guys might wanna get cleaned up, Opal’s farewell dinner is soon.” Asami told everyone, Kana saw Bolin slump once more and begin to sulk. Kana walked over and lightly patted his shoulder, “Hey, you’ll see her again once we are finished looking for more airbenders.” Kana comforted him, although that only seemed to perk him up less than what Kana thought it would. “Hey. Kana, why don’t you try metalbending?” Korra questioned the brunette, “Oh, I’ve tried before. Never worked, and besides, I’m fine with my seismic sense.” She said before sighing, “But it would be nice so I could use my sense on that damned airship.” Kana added before Bolin swung an arm around her shoulder, earning a jealous glare from Wing, “Alright, alright. We know you hate the airship.” Bolin teased as he ruffled her hair, earning a nice punch to the gut from Kana, a laugh erupted as Bolin doubled over in pain. “I didn’t even punch you that hard.” She rolled her eyes, Mako let out a playful scoff, “Kana, even your softest punches hurt.” He laughed, Kana’s eyes widened before her eyebrows furrowed, “Do they really?” She asked, everyone, besides Wing and Wei, nodded with a laugh at how confused Kana looked. “Why do you think I refuse to do hand to hand combat with you?” Korra laughed, she truly did not enjoy being punched by her, Kana shrugged, “I just thought you didn’t wanna hurt me, miss Avatar.” Kana jokingly used the nickname she gave Korra when they met for the first time, Korra wasn’t a fan of it but never told her to stop.
“Anyways, are we just gonna stand around talking about how you guys can’t handle a punch, or are we gonna clean up for Opal’s dinner?” Kana asked, changing the subject. Everyone nodded and headed to their temporary rooms to prepare. Kana settled on taking a shower in her room’s adjoined bathroom, as the warm water hit her body, she relaxed and gave a small smile. It felt nice to clean the dirt away from her skin as she scrubbed it with a milk and honey scented body wash. After scrubbing her hair with shampoo and conditioner and washed it out, Kana stepped out of the shower and shivered as the cool air hit her wet skin. Wrapping a towel around herself, Kana proceeded to dry off in her room and get dressed in a bathrobe, lazily, Kana walked to Korra’s room and knocked on the door. Korra answered, “Yes?” She asked, “Hey, wanna do me a favor and bend the water out of my hair, please?” Kana asked hopefully, with an amused sigh, Korra nodded and bended the water from Kana’s hair and moved the water to her own bathroom sink. Thanking her, Kana left and headed back to her own room. Once there, she sat down at the vanity table, Kana examined herself before deciding that she didn’t need any makeup for the dinner. Instead, she went to the wardrobe and chose a lovely forest green dress like a robe that had many silver embellishments, putting the dress on made Kana feel like she was some kind of earthbending princess. Laughing at herself, Kana placed the large silver necklace around her neck as it hung right above her breasts, she grabbed the arm cuffs and placed each one on both of her wrists before placing two ankle cuffs on her own ankles, to finish the outfit, Kana placed a metal belt piece around her waist. Kana twirled in front of the mirror and smiled, this was by far the most expensive clothing she had ever worn. A knock at the door startled Kana from her trance, “Hey, Kana, it's Korra and Asami. Are you ready for dinner?” Korra questioned loudly from the other side of the door, “Yeah,” she started as she opened the door, “I’m ready.” She looked up at Asami and Korra, they both were staring at her with wide eyes, “Does it not look good?” Kana asked self consciously, “No! You look amazing! We just never expected you to dress up so nicely.” Asami assured the earthbender, and received a smile as Kana saw Korra nod in agreement, “Well then, lets go knock the socks off those boys.” Kana winked at both Asami and Korra as she walked past them and towards the dining room.
Once they stood in front of the door, the guards opened it and everyone stopped what they were doing, most of the boys’ stares were focused on Kana as she took a seat between Bolin and Wing, “What’s with the look, Bo? You’ve seen me dress up before.” She giggled, “Yeah, but never in earth kingdom clothing!” He exclaimed, “I guess you’re right.” She thought before paying attention to what the chef had made for the dinner, he had made Opal’s favorite veggie wraps. Kana didn’t exactly care to listen to whatever mush Bolin was spewing to Opal, so she turned to Wing, “How has your day been so far?” She asked him once she had finished a bite of her food, “It’s been great! I mean, I got to spar with Korra which was totally cool. But I’ll admit I’m going to miss Opal.” Wing said, gaining a sad tone towards the end of his response. In a kind gesture, Kana put a hand on Wing's shoulder and offered a sympathetic smile, then she was hit with an idea, “Wanna sneak out tonight and go to the hill?” She asked referring to the cliff that he had shown her the night before when neither of them could sleep. Wing perked up and gave a fast nod, “Yeah, that’d be awesome.” He told her, trying to contain his excitement.
The rest of the dinner went by smoothly, and soon everyone was leaving to prepare for bed, except for Kana and Wing. Kana did put on some more comfortable clothes before she would meet up with Wing. They both had decided to wait until everyone else seemed to be asleep so they could meet. But the sound of someone yelling caught Kana’s attention, she opened her door in confusion as Bolin ran past, in the process he grabbed her wrist and pulled her along, “Bolin! What’s going on?” She shouted at him, “They’ve got Korra!” He exclaimed, passing more doors as he ran towards the outside of the estate. He had already woken up Mako and Asami, so she pulled her wrist from his grasp and started to run at his pace.
Once outside, Kana finally understood who Bolin was talking about. There was a group of four people running through the courtyard, one had Korra slung across his shoulder. Thinking quickly, Kana created a rock wall in front of the group. They quickly stopped and turned to see who stopped them, “Leave Korra alone!” Kana shouted, jogging towards them to get close and dodging blasts of rock and water. Her seismic sense had instinctively kicked in and Kana was able to narrowly avoid a rock coming at her from behind. She stomped a foot on the ground, using a large chunk of earth to throw at the intruders. Kana noticed that Bolin had only been staring in awe as Kana skillfully dodged attacks from multiple angles, “Bolin! Get your ass over here!” She yelled, momentarily she was distracted and didn’t notice the large rock that had been aimed at her.
A painful cry had alerted everyone else to where they were, and as they got there they saw Kana struggle to her feet as Bolin tried to deflect any attempt to knock her back down. Once she fully stood up, Kana gave the others one glance before turning back to the people that had Korra. Everyone noticed the change in Kana’s attitude and it sent a shiver down their backs. Kana angrily ripped a large portion of rock from the ground and hurled it at Korra’s captors but, much to Kana’s displeasure, the man with long greasy black hair had deflected it. Finally everyone else was working with you and Bolin to get Korra back, they had a chance to run and they took it, but they were unexpectedly caged in by large metal panels. Those present turned to see where the metal came from and they saw Wing, Wei, Su, and Lin. “Thank the spirits.” Kana muttered as she had a moment to breath, but that moment didn’t last long before lava started to pool from under the makeshift trap and melt the panels, “That guy can lava bend! That’s so cool!” Bolin exclaimed, but noticed everyone’s deadpanned looks, “But very bad! Very bad for us.” He corrected himself.
“Are you all okay?” Su asked as she pulled a panel to protect the group from the tall lady’s explosions. “Could totally be better.” Kana quipped sarcastically as she bended a rock at the group, only for it to be deflected once again by the earth bender. “Watch out!” Wing said as he pulled Kana back down as another explosion was sent her way, narrowly missing her but a sharp rock hit her forehead, and it began bleeding down her face. “Thanks.” Was Kana’s short reply as she kept them distracted long enough for the others to devise a plan, ignoring the pain of her cut and the looks of worry from her friends. Su, Lin, and the twins would go on top of the dome and drop in from above and grab Korra while the others would distract and temporarily stun the combustion lady. Stunning the lady was up to Kana and Bolin.
“Ugh! We can’t get a clear shot!” Bolin exclaimed a few minutes later as his and Kana’s attempts were continuously shot down. “Are we a go?” One of the twins asked from the radio, “No go! No go!” Bolin and Mako shouted, “Go? Got it!” Came the voice again, “No! Don’t go! No go!” Mako repeated into the radio but it was already too late. Lin and Su were already lowering from above, “C’mon Bo, we’ve gotta make this shot or Lin and Su are toast!” Kana gripped Bolin’s shoulders. He nodded and they both took a small piece of rock, then the combustion lady looked up and Kana saw their chance, “Now Bolin!” She shouted as she and Bolin tossed their rocks right at her, hitting her not once, but twice in her third eye looking tattoo. Lin was able to grab Korra and soon they were being hauled back up, but the air bender brought his glider out and soared up after the three. As he got closer to Lin, Su grabbed her sister’s cable and swung her out of the way, taking some metal and bending it at the man, successfully ripping the fabric of his glider and he began spiraling downwards.
As he landed, he began to create a large cloud of air, and once it cleared there was no sight of the intruders anywhere. “Where the hell did they go?” Kana asked angrily, as she frantically looked around for any trace of them. Suddenly she became dizzy, Kana placed a hand on her head, finding that her wound from early was still bleeding, “Shit..” She muttered and sat on the grass as she tried to make the spinning stop, “Kana! Are you okay?” Bolin asked worriedly as he saw his friend with her eyes screwed shut and sitting on the ground. Everyone else noticed as well, but Asami was the first to figure out the problem, “Her head is still bleeding! We need to get her medical attention!” She said as Mako picked Kana up from the ground, running up to Su, Lin and the twins. The four gave a confused look until they saw Kana’s condition, and quickly Su led the way to her office where they could patch Korra and Kana up.
At first, Kana was refusing the help, but as her headache worsened she finally gave in and let them wrap a bandage around her head and give her medicine. As the pain went away, Kana found herself slowly growing tired and letting a yawn slip, “I can take you to your room if you’d like?” Wing asked as Kana looked up to him and nodded. He helped her stand up and kept a firm grip on her waist so she wouldn’t fall, “Guess we’re gonna have to take a rain check on going to the hill, huh?” Kana half heartedly joked, “Yeah, guess we are.” Wing said, although he didn’t mind, he just wanted Kana to recover safely. Sometime through the obscurely long walk to Kana’s room, she had fallen asleep and Wing had to carry her to her bed. As he laid her down in the bed and covered the girl with the blanket, she grabbed his hand while half awake from the movements, “Thank you, Wing.” She tiredly stated before falling back asleep. He smiled, hesitantly leaning down and leaving a small kiss on her forehead, then he left the room. Shutting the door and sighing, “You must really have it bad for her.” Wing jumped as he noticed Wei standing in front of him with a smile on his face, Wing nodded, too tired to argue with his brother. “I think she’s warming up to you.” Wei teased as he and his twin walked to their shared room, “Yeah, I think so too.” He said as they both fell on their beds and contently fell asleep.

Faith was distraught.
One minute she's curled up beside Data, falling asleep and the next she woke up groggy and disoriented in a strange room.
It was a surprisingly nice room, with a large bed and all the furnishings of the guest room on a starship. Faith could see the blackness of space outside her window.
As her mind began to clear, she realized with a stab of fear that she was alone.
"Data? Data?!"
She tried to stand but her world spun and she fell back down onto the surprisingly comfortable bed.
I've been drugged, she realized with a start.
The after-effects were clear. Her brain felt like it was surrounded by fog and lifting even her hand was a chore.
"What is going on?" she asked herself, trying to remain upright. Even her words were slurred.
She had to get out of there and find Data. He'd know what to do and more importantly, seeing him would let her know he was safe. She could feel the onset of an anxiety attack, but she pushed it down, repressed it because now was not the time.
The door to her room opened and a man marched in. He was clearly Zibalian and wore expensive-looking clothes, along with an expression of pure delight. He was shorter than her but held himself with such authority that she didn't realize it at first.
"Hello there. Have a nice nap?" he asked, chuckling at his own joke.
"Who are you and where the hell am I?"
"My dear, I am the Kivas Fajo, at your service." He extended a bow her way as if waiting for recognition.
"Is that supposed to mean something?"
"I'm sure Mr. Data has spoken of me before."
Faith felt a sense of dread when he mentioned Data's name. "Can't say that he has."
Fajo paused. "Really? Not once."
"No." Faith forced herself to stand. "Where is he? What did you do to him?"
"Data is safe and sound, for the time being," Fajo said, folding his hands behind his back.
"I don't believe you."
"Understandable. I figured you would need a visual."
He removed a remote from his pocket and pressed a button. The wall behind him changed into a view screen and Faith sighed with relief when she saw Data. He seemed unharmed and even turned towards the screen.
She couldn't hear him but the way his lips moved, she knew he had said her name. She made a move towards the screen when Fajo stopped her, throwing his arm around her waist and yanking her to his side.
"See? Completely unharmed. And both of you shall remain that way so long as Data does exactly what I ask of him."
Faith pushed Fajo away. "You have no idea what you've done! When Starfleet hears about this…"
Fajo groaned and waved his hand as he wandered away from her. "You sound just like Data the first time I collected him. Starfleet this and Starfleet that. Let me save you the trouble: they don't know where you are and aren't even looking for you. Neither of you is going anywhere."
"What do you want with us?"
"Nothing with you. Well, almost nothing. I didn't realize how important you could be."
She didn't like the way he sounded or his smirk. Her eyes went back to Data who watched them with his usual unreadable expression. Though his eyes tracked Fajo's movements.
"See, Data and I have done this dance before. Since he failed to educate you, let me. I am a collector of rare, one-of-a-kind things. I tried to add Data to my collection three years ago and he managed to get me arrested. My collection was seized and I was thrown in prison."
His voice lost its amusement and his expression turned cold. When he looked back at her, there was anger in his eyes.
"Thankfully, it helps to have friends in high places. Well, one friend. I told Data that he would become part of my collection again and I've finally made that possible."
"How? I don't understand."
Fajo clapped. "That I am quite proud of. See while you were all busy searching the Enterprise for whatever was going on, you neglected to search the shuttles. My little friends were able to make some modifications to bring you to the right place at the right time. Then once the backup life supports kicked in, sleepy time for you. It was just lucky Data was powered down at the same time. Although, I've had a string of good luck lately."
"Friends? What friends?"
Fajo smirked and pressed a button on the comm panel on the wall. "Enter."
The doors open, an alien shuffled in carrying a tray. It was the same type of alien they had found aboard the Enterprise, though this one seemed more docile and subdued.
"Faith, meet the Oz'ods. One of them at least. There are only a few left in existence. They were never really able to sustain their numbers and all but six perished. Their natural cloaking ability makes them hard to detect but I managed. And now, they serve me."
The Oz'od placed the tray of food down on a small table by the bed and remained there, waiting for further instruction.
"Thank you, that'll be all." Fajo waved them off.
The Oz'od shuffled out of the room.
"There's nothing impressive about keeping people as slaves," Faith said angrily.
"Not slaves, servants. And sometimes trophies."
"Whatever you need to tell yourself so you can sleep at night."
"I sleep very well, thank you. Now, as I was saying, the Oz'ods are fantastic creatures. In exchange for their continued existence, they do as I say, including infiltrating the Federation's flagship. At first, it was purely to gather information and watch Data." Fajo paused his monologue to smile at Faith. "And then you came along. It was too perfect! I thought about trying to manipulate him into thinking you were working for me all along. But he's too smart for that. This way, I finally had a bargaining chip that would ensure Data did whatever I asked of him."
He began to circle her and Faith remained frozen, arms wrapped around herself.
"So what? We've just supposed to do everything you say and stay here with you forever?"
Fajo smiled brightly. "Great, you get it."
"That's not going to happen. We're going to get out of here, with or without the Enterprise."
"I doubt Data would even try." Fajo got closer, reaching out to tug on her long braid. "Not if he wants to take care of you."
Anger welled in Faith and she couldn't contain it. The audacity of that man was overwhelming and she threw her elbow back, connecting squarely with his nose.
"Bold of you to assume I need to be taken care of," she snapped.
Fajo swore and drew out a phaser. The next thing she knew a searing pain ripped through her hip and she flew across the room, hitting the soft carpet before rolling into the wall. Through the pain, she lifted her head to stare at the view screen but it had been turned off.
Fajo wiped the blood from his nose, pointing the phaser at her again. "You get one of those," he growled. "Next time I won't be so lenient."
He left her there, curled in excruciating pain.
Faith was in tears, both from emotion and the physical injury she now had. Every time she tried to move, it got worse and she fell back with a yell. It was like an electric heat coursing through her torso. Carefully, she peeled back the torn part of her jumpsuit to examine the wound.
The second-degree burn made her panic return. All she could do was lay there hyperventilating. Try as she might, she couldn't take a deep breath, not until she shut her eyes and imagined Data was there with her, talking her through her attack as he had many times before.
The doors opened and the Oz'od from earlier shuffled back in with several items in their hands.
When they approached her, Faith tried to scramble away.
To her surprise, they spoke. Their voice was stilted and raspy, uncomfortable with English. "No harm. Help."
He reached for her again and Faith fought her instinct to pull away. The Oz'od was surprisingly gentle as he placed a small bowl next to her along with a cloth bandage. In the bowl was a green paste which he began to apply to the burn.
It hurt at first but then it began to cool, easing the pain. Faith relaxed with a sigh, face streaked with tears.
"T-Thank you," she croaked.
"Me Soshi."
"I'm Faith."
He finished putting the paste on then sealed it with a bandage. "Fajo fine if you no fight."
"Fajo needs a fucking dose of reality," Faith said, smoothing her torn jumpsuit over the bandage. "How long have you guys been with him?"
"Two years. We would die alone."
"Starfleet can help you. And you wouldn't have to serve anyone."
Soshi hesitated, looking around as if they were afraid Fajo was watching. Faith wondered if he was somehow. "We like Fajo. Fajo protect Oz'ods."
Faith made a move to stand and Soshi helped her. "It's not protection, it's exploitation." It was a painful trek across the room back to the bed. When she finally made it, she eased herself down, wincing as her hip ached.
Soshi gathered their first aid supplies. "Eat food. Soshi made. Good and fresh."
They then left her alone. Faith poked at the tray but didn't feel even remotely hungry. She had no idea how she could escape her room or get to Data. She doubted she'd be able to overpower Fajo again. But Data could. She imagined he hadn't to spare her any pain from their captor.
If I could just get to him…
After her little stunt, that would probably be impossible.
Faith laid down on her uninjured side, watching the stars outside her window. If he really wanted Data for his collection, he wouldn't do anything to him. She had to believe that. The only thing she could think to do was nothing.
Literally, nothing. She wasn't going to eat anything they brought her and if Fajo came in, she wouldn't even look at him, let alone talk to him.
Eventually, she dozed off.
It was a long time before anyone came to see her again. Soshi brought her another meal to replace the one she hadn't touched but did not say anything. When they replaced that meal as well, they spoke up.
"Faith must eat."
"I'm not eating anything."
"No like food? Want other food?"
"Fajo can force me to stay here but that's it. I'm not eating or drinking. He thinks I'm a bargaining chip, fine! Good luck trying to get Data to do what he wants if something happens to me."
Soshi looked scared and hurried out of the room. She suspected they had to report back to Fajo. She hoped he wouldn't take it out on them.
After the fifth untouched meal, Fajo stomped into her room. "Why must you both make this so difficult?" he asked, hands on his hips like a petulant child.
Faith could see his reflection in the window. She did not answer.
"I know you're not asleep. Answer me! What's wrong with you?"
Her only response was silence.
"Oh for goodness sake!" Fajo moved to the other side of the bed, snapping his fingers to get her attention. "Earth to the human!"
She flipped him the bird.
"Oh, that's nice. Very lady-like." He softened his tone. "Come on, eat something. Pretty please?"
She turned her back on him. Fajo huffed and walked around the other side of the bed again. "You two are so damn difficult!"
"Because you're keeping us against our will, you jag!"
He reached for his phaser and despite herself, she flinched. "Watch it," he warned.
"How do I even know Data is okay?" she asked, heart aching for the android. She had been so worried about him. "You showed me one image and nothing else. For all I know I'm all alone here."
Fajo took a deep breath as if to recollect himself. "Lucky for you, I'm a merciful man." He walked over to the door and opened it.
To her relief, Data entered. He wore a hideous purple jumpsuit which obviously wasn't by choice. Regardless, when she saw him, Faith felt her body release its tension. She forced herself out of bed, stumbling as they hurried to embrace.
"Thank the stars you're alright!" she said.
"I am fine. Are you?"
"I am now."
Data looked at Fajo. "May we have privacy?"
Fajo put his hands up as he backed out of the room. "Five minutes. We have that dinner with the Vangar delegates and we have to go over talking points."
Data nodded in understanding. As soon as Fajo left Faith asked, "You're going along with him?"
"For now," Data said, stroking her cheek. "I do not wish for him to hurt you again. Striking him was not a smart idea."
"I know. But it felt really good."
He gave her a small smile before hugging her once more. "Please do not attempt to harm him again. He has a personal force field activated that will harm you significantly. I suspect he did not think he would need to use it around you."
"His mistake. I take it that's why you haven't overpowered him."
"You are correct. Why will you not eat?"
"Passive resistance."
"Please eat. You will need your strength if we are to plan our escape."
"Data, how the hell are we going to get out of here?"
"I do not know yet. But I will find a way. In the meantime, do not underestimate Fajo. He will not hesitate to harm or kill. I have seen him do both."
A shiver ran down Faith's spine and she suddenly realized how lucky she had been to only receive a blaster to the hip.
"I'm scared," she admitted. "I'm trying to be a brave Starfleet officer but deep down I'm terrified."
Data cupped her face. "I will not let harm come to you. I will do as he says in the hope he leaves you be. However, I do not know if Fajo will allow another meeting between us. He only allowed this one when I negotiated for it."
"Kiss me then. I need to feel your lips."
He did, deeply. Faith kissed him back, not knowing when or even if she'd see him again. She couldn't bear to let him go.
"Alright, alright, break it up." Fajo's voice ruined the moment. "You'll decrease his value."
Faith glared at him but Data's hand fell to her lower back which calmed her down.
"Actually, Fajo, I believe Faith would only enhance my image to your friends."
Both of them looked at him in confusion. Though, Fajo looked entirely too interested in the notion. "How so?"
"I am the only sentient android in the galaxy. I possess no emotions and yet have found myself a romantic partner," Data explained. "I believe some would find that interesting."
Faith suddenly realized what Data was doing. He was trying to devise a way to satisfy Fajo's weird fixation while also keeping Faith close and extend their time together.
She loathed the thought of having to sit through a dinner with rich creepy people she didn't know. But if it meant she could remain at Data's side, she'd bite her tongue and force a smile.
Fajo pointed at Data. "I see what you're trying to do," he said. "Oh, I forgot how clever you could be." He pondered Data's suggestion, looking Faith up and down. Finally, he clapped excitedly. "This will be so much better! Yes! Let's get your little girlfriend all gussied up for dinner. You two are going to make a splash!" He went to the door and waved Data over. "Come, Data. Let's go find something for her to wear while she washes up. She clearly needs it."
Faith took an angry step towards Fajo but Data held her back.
"Perhaps I should stay to ensure she is made aware of her expectations," he suggested.
Fajo's smile faded. "I am being very generous, all things considered. Do not test me."
She could sense Data's disappointment but he didn't seem to want to push his luck. Not after seeing how Fajo hurt her so easily.
"Very well," he said.
Fajo was delighted. "Had I known you would be so agreeable this way I would have kidnapped someone close to you the first time! Now, when we meet with the delegates, remember to tell them how we first met…"
Data followed him out of the room, casting Faith a reassuring nod before the doors closed.
Thrown by the turn of events, she shuffled over the end of the room which had a partition for privacy. Behind it was a toilet, sink, and tiny shower stall that she could barely fit into. She turned the shower on and tested the water. Thankfully it was hot.
She peeled her torn clothes and bandage off before stepping into the stall. The water felt wonderful and she washed hours worth of sweat and tears away. The paste on her wound washed off as well, leaving smooth, fresh skin with no burn in sight. Her hip still ached however and probably would for a while.
Once she had washed up, Faith stepped out and wrapped a towel around herself.
There was nothing for her to change into yet so she tried to comb her hair out with her fingers as she waited.
By the time they came back, her hair had dried into its natural thick waves.
"Wear this," Fajo ordered, handing her a folded gown of deep purple. It complimented the jumpsuit Data wore except it was made of soft silk.
Faith stepped behind the partition again and slipped into the dress. It was far too tight and showed too much skin for her liking. Her cleavage was on full display and the skirt's slit went almost to her thigh.
The shoes were worse. God awful heels that hurt her feet. She'd rather be barefoot. But she had to play her part just as Data played his.
When she stepped back out, Data's eyes went wide. He seemed to eye her with appreciation which did make her feel a little better. Only a little.
"Marvelous, breathtaking," Fajo said. "You clean up well. Data was sure you'd protest showing so much skin but we want to really wow everyone. Come come, give us a spin."
Faith clenched her jaw and spun in a slow circle.
"Wonderful. Now, we mustn't keep our guests waiting for too long. Data remembers quite clearly what happened the last time he failed to entertain my friends. Come along you two." Fajo made a move to leave before turning back. "Oh, and if you could smile, Faith, you'd look so much prettier."
If Faith could rip out his throat she would.
She slid her arm around Data's as they followed Fajo out of her room. "Imma kill him. I swear," she muttered so softly only he could hear it.
Data leaned in close. "Starfleet officers do not condone homicide."
"This one does."
Data sighed, bringing his free hand up to rest over hers. "Faith…"
"I know, I know. I was kidding. Mostly."
"No whispering you two!" Fajo barked over his shoulder.
The halls of the ship were more standard than Faith expected. Clearly, Fajo liked the finer things in life. She expected his ship to reflect as much. But it seemed to be made more for function than comfort.
They arrived at the dining hall and he led them in with a bright smile.
"Kornok, Dulcer, Enil! My friends!" he greeted the three slender looking aliens with comically large round eyes and squared heads.
"Fajo!" The shortest of the three, Kornok, said as he approached the other man. "It has been far too long!"
Data and Faith hung back as Fajo made his greetings and small talk. The Vangar kept looking at them with interest until the female Dulcer pushed past Fajo and approached.
"Now what have we here?" she asked, circling the couple.
"My dear friends, meet the first in my new collection," Fajo said proudly. "Lieutenant Commander Data, the first and only sentient android in existence."
"Fascinating!" Kornok exclaimed and Dulcer continued her scrutiny.
"Hello," Data said dutifully. "It is a pleasure to meet you all."
"My, how well he speaks!" Dulcer exclaimed.
Faith clutched Data's arms tighter when she realized Enil was staring at her in an almost leering way.
"And the girl?" Enil asked.
"Oh, you'll get a kick out of this," Fajo said. "Faith is Mr. Data's girlfriend."
The Vangar began whispering excitedly in another language and suddenly all three were circling Faith and Data with rapt attention.
"A girlfriend? The android has a girlfriend?"
"Fascinating! But he doesn't have emotions! How does that work?"
"Is there an intimate nature to the relationship?"
Faith was already hating everything about the situation. The last question was asked by Enil and made Data speak up.
"That question is inappropriate," he said. "I do not mind answering questions that do not pertain to the intimacy of my relationship with Faith."
You tell him, babe, Faith thought to herself.
"Modesty! I love it!" Kornok laughed.
Fajo laughed as well. "Come now, let's eat! We can discuss more over food. I'm sure you're all ravenous."
The three wandered away from the couple, firing all sorts of questions at Fajo as they took their seats.
"This is going to suck," Faith muttered as she and Data followed.
"Yes. Yes it will."

Here’s track 2 of SOARA’s 4th drama CD~! The actual track is 23+ minutes long so it’s cut into two parts again ^^ This track runs from minutes 0:00 to 15:04. Still quite long but, it was kinda difficult to actually cut it into parts XD
A special thank you to @ryuukia for sharing with me~!
※ Please don’t re-post the English translations without permission. Please like and re-blog instead of re-posting ^^
Under the cut, enjoy~!
Track 2: [~現在~今日も元気にレッスンです!] “~Present~ We’ll face our lessons excitedly today, too!”
[0:00]
DANCE INSTRUCTOR (JUNYA): Alright! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8…
JUNYA: Sora-kun, you’re a bit too fast.
JUNYA: Ren-kun, don’t look down. Look in front.
REN/SORA: Yes!
JUNYA: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8… (laughs) Nozomu-kun, that’s a great smile! Can you still do more?
NOZOMU: Yes! I can still do more~!
SORA: (tired) Nozomu-kun’s really lively, huh?
NOZOMU: Leave it to me! Being lively is my specialty!
NOZOMU: Spin here and then a killer pose!
NOZOMU: Yay~!
SOSHI: Sensei, looks like it’s okay to make Nozomu do 10 more of these.
NOZOMU: Are you a demon?! I might be lively but 10 times is too much!
MORI: Soshi, too… The fact that you can speak normally after this… You have a lot of energy, huh? (sighs)
SORA: (panting) Well, Mori’s more fit than I am…
REN: A-a-are you okay, Sora-senpai?
SORA: Ren-kun, the pretty boy at first glance is actually a kendo boy so obviously, you have a lot of stamina.
REN: Obviously, you say…
SORA: This is bad! At this rate, I’ll…! I feel like I’ll be the only one who’s super weak…!
JUNYA: Ah, no~ To me, Sora-kun seems super energetic!
JUNYA: Alright~! Let’s do one from the top again!
SOARA: EH?!!
JUNYA: Okay, that’s a great response~! I’ll be dancing with you in the next one so try to keep up.
JUNYA: Here we go! Okay, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8…
[02:00]
SORA: (sighs) It’s over.
SORA: I overcame… a lot of things.
SOSHI: I think you mean that you did your best but I feel like that sounds like something else.
SOSHI: Hey Sora, don’t sleep on the floor.
SORA: But the floor’s cold and feels good!
MORI: I understand that but, you’ll get dirty, Sora.
MORI: Here, a towel. If you wash your face you’ll feel refreshed.
NOZOMU: Yep, yep~! Nozomu-kun will also wash his face, be sparkling clean, and be dripping with water~!
SOSHI: What a good puppy. (Soshi starts petting Nozomu) There, there, did you get all clean~?
NOZOMU: Woof, woof, woof—Hey, Soshi-paisen! When I said ‘dripping with water’ I meant like, the way hot guys do, not like dogs do!
(Nozomu spills water)
SORA: A-a-ah…! That’s cold! The water’s splashing!
REN: Ah, geez, Nozomu. Your hair’s dripping wet. (Ren wipes Nozomu’s hair with a towel)
NOZOMU: Ah, sorry, Sora, Ren.
REN: I wonder why even though you dried your face, you didn’t dry your hair.
NOZOMU: I wonder why, too~!
REN: You don’t know either? Ah, come on. You’re getting wet here, too.
NOZOMU: Eh, which? Where, where?
REN: Your nape. Give me the towel. If you don’t dry off properly, you’ll catch a cold.
NOZOMU: (laughs) That tickles!
REN: I’m not playing with you! Stay still!
NOZOMU: Y-yes…!
SOSHI: He really is a dog. I’m sure he is.
SOSHI: A big dog that’s a lot to deal with.
SORA: Yeah, I can tell. Nozomu’s a dog. A puppy.
MORI: Come now, you guys. Don’t treat your cute kohai like a dog.
MORI: Come on Sora, go wash your face, too.
SOSHI: Guess we have to take care of the clingy toy dog, too.
SORA: Who ya callin’ a clingy toy dog, hey!
SORA: I am a man who is a wolf at heart!
SOSHI: (with a sarcastic tone) Yeah, yeah, sure. A wolf. Got it. So cool~ (he pats Sora’s head) There, there, good boy~
SORA: Awoo~! Hey! Don’t come at me just ‘cause you’re tall!
MORI: That’s becoming common for Soshi now, huh?
[04:15]
(water splashing)
SORA: (sighs) I feel so refreshed~ My body will be super sore tomorrow for sure. Ah, is it time to head back?
SORA: Ah, I was right on the mark. 6 PM.
SORA: Time to review “LIFE IS AMAZING”.
SORA: (breathes in) Finally, huh? (sighs)
SORA: It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m not alone this time.
SORA: It’s what everyone decided.
SORA: It’s a song that everyone agreed to and supported me with.
SORA: (sighs)
(Sora’s phone vibrates)
SORA: Hm? It’s from Wakatsuki-san. What’s it say?
SORA: “Everything’s all in place~!” (laughs) What’s with this sticker?
SORA: Wakatsuki-san’s really good at finding appropriate stickers. That calmed me down a little.
SORA: Let’s see… (Sora starts typing on his phone) Thank you for going out of your way to report to us…
NOZOMU: What? What are you looking at, Sora?
REN: Sora-senpai?
SORA: Uwah! You startled me… Nozomu and Ren?
REN: Sou-nii told me to go wring Nozomu’s hair.
SORA: His hair’s that wet? Geez, what were you doing?
NOZOMU: (laughs) It was wetter than I thought~
REN: You were checking your phone, Sora-senpai? Did something come from the agency?
SORA: Ah, yeah. Wakatsuki-san contacted me about our preview video.
SORA: The PV was supposed to be released at 6, right? SOARA’s RE:START Series. A song with all five of us after a while. For “LIFE IS AMAZING”
NOZOMU: Ah, I see! That was today, wasn’t it?
REN: Nozomu… It’s important so you should remember it…
NOZOMU: I knew the day but I couldn’t remember the exact time.
NOZOMU: Alright~! I’ll go retweet it to help advertise, too~! Ah…! I left my phone there.
SORA: I already did it~ Advertising’s important, right~?
REN: Yes. I’ll do it later, too. So, uh, senpai…
REN: How was the reaction…?
SORA: It looks like they’re saying “it’s amazing!” or “it’s cool!” That’s great, huh~
SORA: Well, there are also some so-so reactions.
REN: Ah… Is it a reaction that says something about how it’s different from usual?
SORA: Well, that’s right. I understand anyway~ They’re people who have been listening to our music since the beginning after all.
SORA: Compared to a solo or a duet, it’s easier to tell a unit song’s atmosphere.
REN/ NOZOMU: …
NOZOMU: You know, Sora? I really love our new song.
NOZOMU: All our songs before were good but this one is exceptionally good!
NOZOMU: Singing and performing it is super fun and it makes you excited! I wanna hurry and perform it live.
SORA: Nozomu…
REN: Me, too…! I love it too, senpai. “Life is Amazing” is a song that we can sing because of who we are now.
REN: The past me wouldn’t have been able to sing such a grand song. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to follow with all the challenging and powerful lyrics.
REN: No… Even more than that, I couldn’t imagine myself even singing back then.
REN: If I did sing, I’m sure that it would have been with a small voice.
REN: It’s not only because I lacked skill then but my feelings about it weren’t strong as well.
REN: This song is important to me because it’s proof of how much I’ve grown by being able to follow with such a strong song.
SORA: Ren…
SORA: Ah, um… Am I being comforted by you two? I wasn’t really…
SORA: I guess I was…
SORA: Yes, I’ll admit it. I was honestly curious about it. Also, a little bit scared. Like, a lot of things might happen again…
NOZOMU: Sora…
SORA: But, I know now.
SORA: Just like when I told everyone that I’ll be sharing my burdens, I challenged it while knowing the consequences.
SORA: I have to receive those results properly, too.
REN: Senpai…
[08:41]
SORA: Hm, Sensei? You’re still dancing?
JUNYA: Ah, I just thought of starting the choreography for my next work.
JUNYA: Your lessons are already over so, rest assured.
JUNYA: Review the parts you had trouble with and try to work on it, okay?
SORA: Yessir~!
MORI: It’s already this late but you’re still working. Sensei, you had another lesson before ours, didn’t you?
JUNYA: Yeah, I did. Oh, by the way, those boys are from TsukiPro, too.
JUNYA: They were going to start filming a PV next month. They’ve started practicing the choreography for that.
JUNYA: It’s got a lot of steps so we had to start earlier.
SOSHI: From the same agency, huh… So that’s why I thought there was someone who looked familiar when we were arriving…
MORI: Eh? You greeted them when you weren’t aware?
MORI: I knew who they were.
MORI: You need to remember the faces of the people who work at the agency. It’s an important part of this job, too.
SOSHI: Ah, damn. I got lectured.
SORA: Yeah~ Sou got scolded~ I knew who they were, too~!
SOSHI: Shut it.
SOSHI: I entered the studio last so I really only got a glimpse of them.
MORI: Sou, that’s not an excuse.
SOSHI: Yes, I’m so sorry.
SORA: (laughs) He got scolded again.
SOSHI: You better remember this later.
JUNYA: I’ve been having lessons since this morning with a lot of TsukiPro artists.
JUNYA: TsukiPro is such a good agency to actually secure rehearsal times early, huh?
JUNYA: That kind of method is the best in the long run so I’m not regretting doing a lot.
MORI: You’re right. I think so, too.
MORI: Normally, we perform as a band and don’t really dance. But, during the joint live, we all had to do a dance.
MORI: That time, I thought that it was good that we did lessons beforehand.
NOZOMU: Ah~! You mean for “Dear Dreamer.”? When the song run was done, they sudden;y said, “okay, let’s start counting!” and they started adding choreography! That totally surprised me!
REN: Exactly. The other units followed easily as if it was a given.
REN: They do dances normally and they could remember the choreography easily. I was really panicking then.
SORA: Like SolidS’ Tsubasa-san and those three from Growth, right?!
SORA: I really panicked a lot then! The dance was only showed once and they could already dance most of it!
SORA: It made me think, “What are these people?!” y’know?
SOSHI: And then, the one who’s panicking and dancing desperately behind them was our Ohara Sora.
SORA: Shut up! Even I… knew that much!
REN: So you knew?
JUNYA: Well, remembering choreography is a talent but it’s also something that takes getting used to.
JUNYA: Dance is a fixed form to a point. But it can also be freestyle so I understand the feeling of not knowing what comes next.
NOZOMU: Oh~! Is that so?
JUNYA: It’s pretty simple but there’s really not much steps that are very showy, you know?
JUNYA: Plus, dance should be something that anyone can dance regardless of the costume they’re wearing, and skill level, when the music plays, right?
JUNYA: Today’s should’ve been adjusted to your level, though.
NOZOMU: Oh ye~ah! The choreography lesson today didn’t scare me so it must’ve been that.
SOSHI: Oh yeah. Whenever we go to rehearsals or to a venue, the production staff were dancing along at the end, too.
REN: The chorus is pretty lively after all.
JUNYA: I think it’s important for idols to have dances that are easy to remember even for normal people, rather for your fans.
JUNYA: If that happens, the song will be a big hit, too.
NOZOMU: And then we can go wild together during the live!
JUNYA: Exactly. That’s important, right?
NOZOMU: It totally is!
JUNYA: That’s exactly why we choreographers do our best to make dances easy to copy but unique at the same time.
MORI: I knew it was obvious but, making choreography requires a lot of thinking too, huh?
MORI: We don’t really know much about dance so that was very useful to know.
JUNYA: I tend to talk a lot when it comes to dance, y’know~?
JUNYA: Like, for example. Even though they’re all idols, there’s a lot of difference between the choreography of idols from Japan and those that are K-Pop idols. There’s a lot of instances where they go all out with their dances that they’re pretty hard to copy.
JUNYA: A lot of those steps are kinda cool so I try to incorporate them sometimes, too.
MORI: I’ve seen those in videos, too. They all look like they’re professional dancers.
JUNYA: Yeah! Over there it seems like dancing is a must-have skill so if you try to debut as an idol there, the hurdles are definitely higher.
JUNYA: That sounds troublesome, doesn’t it?
MORI: Now I feel so glad that we’re a band in Japan.
JUNYA: You guys do a lot of work that are similar to idols but under the agency label, you’re “artists” aren’t you?
MORI: Yes. There’s never really been a division between those who do idol work and those who don’t.
MORI: But, the work we do receive is somewhat different.
MORI: There’s a possibility for us to actually do work like acting in dramas or stage plays but our main focus is music.
MORI: Though I think there would be opportunities and things that we want to do that would play to our strengths, too.
JUNYA: It’s wonderful that you want to do and your visions for the future won’t be imposed on you by the agency but rather something that you’ll be discussing together.
JUNYA: But I’m sure that there a lot that might not be easy to do.
MORI: It looks like it, yes.
MORI: It makes me so glad to have joined an agency where we could learn a lot about things like that.
JUNYA: (chuckles) I guess you could say that. TsukiPro is quite a large agency so I guess it’s flexible and kinda stable, too.
JUNYA: And so, everyone in SOARA, please relax and just make good music. I’ll be supporting you as a fan, too.
To be continued~

[Translation] Empire Stage & Behind the scenes
With this I am done translating the Tsukino Empire pamphlet (it took me 2 months haha but well). This ends with the cast introductions and interactions + chapter titles.
@clearui helped me proofread this time too. Thank you~
Don’t repost my translations!
✩ Cast team & Introductions ✩
【First Fleet & Gravi】
Hajime: ~That’s all. All 6 Six Gravity members will be in your care
All of them: Please take care of us! ※smooth
【Second Fleet & Procella】
Shun: Yaa, everyone. Hello. It is an honour to meet you like this. This time the stage is the universe! The universe…… is certainly magnificent, isn’t it? Source of life, the origin of everything. The beginning, and at the same time, the end. 0 and 1, 1 and 0. In the world with an infinite of hidden possibilities, stars are glimmering, they are also born and disappear……. The existences living there are the same. In this extraordinary and vast world, however, we, who are very small…
Kai: All 6 Procellarum members will do our best!
All of them: We will be in your care!
【Third Fleet & Alive group】
All of them: (whoa this is difficult) ※Because the introductions are ending in a place different from the theatre, this is not the first meeting.
✩ Shooting the main visuals with the leaders ✩
~Hajime and Shun are in the middle of the shooting~
Sora: Ko, …… Kou-kun?
Koki: ? Sora, did something happen?
Sora: To be honest…… I’m so nervous I could throw up but
Koki: Are you alright? (bitter smile)
Sora: I’m probably not alright. What’s with this team selection?
Koki: This selection means that each unit’s leader is delegated to participate in the meeting
Sora: That is the problem
Koki: Haa?
Sora: Aside from Kou-kun, especially the others are all charismatic leaders, or, talented leaders, while SOARA’s was not decided with those standards at all! It’s because I was the first one to say something! Because of that, it felt like I was forced into this! I’m good at photo booths, but wearing costumes like this and being surrounded by cameras and people during photoshoots is something I still can’t get used to…
-slam-
Shiki: Mm? Aah, Sora, Koki, good job
Sora: !! ?? G-g-g-ggood work to youuu ttoo!
Shiki & Koki: Calm down ※Shiki’s military uniform was impressive & suits him so well that Sora got even more nervous
✩ Somehow the mood is? ✩
~During the joint rehearsals~
Kai: -pants-
Arata: Good job~
You: Oh yeah! I guess it’s only natural, but there are a lot of action scenes~! I keep sweating!
Iku: Ahaha, if you treat the practice as it was the real performance, I think if you can put more effort into it, don’t you think?
You: I see, I like that thought
Dai: Iku, that was smart
Arata: Even so……
Rikka: The spirit beasts are cute, aren't they?
Aoi: I’m healed. Fufufu, Ruri, come here?
Ruri: -peep-
Yoru: Arai-kun, Raa-kun, come here?
Arai-kun & Raa-kun: -running lightly-
Kai: I was wondering. Is this the feeling of being part of a co-ed class?
All of them: Relatable
✩ That’s right, let’s go and eat ramen ✩
All of them: Good job, everybody!
Ken: Rehearsals ended safely today too!
Nozomu: I’m tired!
Kai: Wha, tomorrow my muscles will absolutely be sore~
Morihito: I know. I feel like my sides and some other unexpected parts will get sore…...
Soshi: Mori~, why do you always say things like that ? You’ll get sore in unexpected parts?
Morihito: I’m also wondering about that…...
Sora: Teyaah!
-tugs-
Morihito: Ouch! Sora!? It started to hurt already, don’t cling to me!
Ken: Really? Teyaah!
-tugs-
Morihito: Ken too!? You certainly jumped on me just now because you heard that, didn’t you!? Ou-ou-ou-ouch
Haru: This interaction gives me a deja vu feeling. I feel like I relate to Mori-kun when it comes handling the current situation.
Aoi: Ah, ahaha, is it because you’re both the intellectual older brother type? (bitter smile)
Iku: Eh, no, rather than that, their common feature is……
All of them: (…… the glasses?)
~Meanwhile~
Rui: …… (about to die)
Ren: Aaaahh, w-w-who is this!?
Arata: Calm down. Compared to his usual composure…… to be honest, he’s completely exhausted now.
You: Rui-kun, are you running out of stamina?
Rui: …… that’s not it
Ryota: Ah, another attack?
Rui: This isn’t…just exhaustion
Ren: Y-yes?
Rui: I’m in the middle of creating new skills while listening to messages from space……
Ren: I s-see!
Ryota: No no no
Arata: It’s fine if you don’t give a serious answer
Shun: Eh, you don’t hear them? These messages coming from the space!
Ren: Eh, eh, eh?
You: It’s getting confusing, so please shut up
~In another place~
Rikka: Fuu…. It’s already completely dark. It feels today went really fast.
Koki: Right? Personally, I like the night’s tranquility though……
Yoru: I understand that. Reading the stageplay script at night makes me feel like I can make more progress
Hajime: I also run through the entire script in the evening
Mamoru: If you go to university, and you have a lot of work, physically, you cannot keep doing that (sly)
Hajime: I heard from Kou that Mamoru gets more inspired to compose music at night
Kou: Hajime-san seems interested
Mamoru: Eh, eh, eh~!? This is sort of embarrassing~!
Rikka: You seem happy (smiles)
~In yet another place~
Kakeru: I’m hungry!
Koi & Tsubasa: Me too!
Dai: Well, my stomach feels very empty……
Shiki: Mm? Then, shall we go and eat some ramen?
All: Let’s dig in!
Shiki: Wait, all of a sudden there are a lot of people
Tsubasa: Finally! Shiki’s treating us ramen ramen ♪
Shiki: Wait
Haru: What kind of ramen are you going to have?
Arata: Any is fine already. As long as the portion is big, I’d eat anything
Shiki: Wait wait wait wait
Kurotsuki: Oh, sorry, Shiki
Tsukishiro: Didn’t expect to be this many people.
Shiki: Hey, managers!
Hajime: Then, shall we go?
All: Ok!

[Translation] SOARA Drama CD Vol. 3 - Ano Hi, Bokura wa - Track 1
To the wonderful person who shared this with me, thank you very much! This is a very fun drama CD!
Also, I’m not sure of the track titles since I don’t have the CD itself so please bear with me titling them “Track 1/2/3” ^^ ※ There are some medical terms here and since I am not medically well-versed, please do tell me if my description of what a rotator cuff is is wrong XD
SOARA Drama CD Vol. 3 [Ano hi, Bokura wa] (That day, we were...) Track 1
Under the cut, enjoy~
SOARA Drama CD Vol. 3 Track 1
(writing on chalkboard)
TEACHER: And so, this is completely different from middle school. Though there might be a lot of anxieties and confusion, I’ll try my best to turn that into hope and excitement.
SORA: (yawns)
TEACHER: Hm? Hey, you there. You seem very sleepy, aren’t you?
SORA: E-eh…?! Ah, I’m so sorry.
TEACHER: (laughs) I don’t mind. The entrance ceremony just finished and I may have been speaking for so long already. Sorry about that. I he— (his voice fades slowly)
SORA: Woah…! That surprised me…
MORI: It’s great that he didn’t get mad, huh~?
SORA: Eh? Ah, yeah, I’m glad. He seems like a nice teacher. Though he talks a lot.
MORI: Right?
TEACHER: Oh no, I strayed off the topic again. We were supposed to do introductions, right?
TEACHER: (flips open his notes) Let’s see… Going by alphabetical order, the one sitting in front… You! It’s you, isn’t it?
TEACHER: Shall we hear from Arihara-kun?
MORI: Yes. My name is Arihara Morihito. I graduated from Takami Middle School.
MORI: I visited this school during a field trip and I fell in love with its atmosphere so I took the entrance exam. I heard that the school clubs are wonderful too so I’m looking forward to it.
MORI: It’s nice to meet you all.
(students clapping)
TEACHER: Arihara-kun’s so calm even after introducing himself first. How wonderful!
TEACHER: It seems like you’re excited about the school clubs. What club were you in during middle school?
MORI: Ah, I was part of the student council so I didn’t join any clubs.
TEACHER: Ah~ You do look like the type to be in the student council!
MORI: (a little flustered) Do I really?
TEACHER: You might do well in this school’s student council, too. Ah, by the way—(his voice fades out)
SORA: (quietly, to Mori) You were in the student council…?! That’s so amazing, Arihara-kun. You’re so smart!
MORI: I’m not really that amazing. Our school didn’t really have a voting method and it was mostly decided on recommendations only.
MORI: And um, I’m fine with being called Morihito or Mori instead of ‘Arihara-kun’.
MORI: That’s what they called me during middle school, too.
SORA: Got it, Mori…hito… Hm… Mori!
MORI: Yep.
SORA: Being recommended is even more amazing. That means you were pretty popular, right?
SORA: To me you just became a really awesome person!
MORI: What’s that supposed to mean?
TEACHER: Then the next one is… Ohara-kun!
SORA: A-ah, yes!
(Sora suddenly stands up)
SORA: Um… Good afternoon! I graduated from Daisan Middle School! My name’s Ohara Sora! Ohara Sora is my name~!
SORA: I’d be happy if you remembered my name associated with a big open field under a blue sky!1
SORA: Ohara Sora~ Please take care of this Ohara Sora~!
SOSHI: Sora, you sound like you’re in an election.
SORA: Shut up, Soshi~ Ah, he’s from the same middle school as I was but please don’t mind him.
SORA: Ohara Sora’s hobbies are karaoke, trying out different restaurants, etc. Oh, and I’ll still continue to grow taller from here~!
SORA: I’m looking for a girlfriend so girls, please, speak to me while you can~
SORA: Ah, but anyone’s free to go and do karaoke and eat delicious with me~ Let’s play a lot!
SORA: It’s nice to meet you all!
(students clapping)
SOSHI: That’s great, Sora~
SORA: Ah, thank you~ Thanks, thank you~!
TEACHER: Thank you. It just got a lot of fun, huh?
TEACHER: So Ohara-kun’s a light-hearted mood maker, huh?
SORA: (laughs) Thank you very much!
TEACHER: Ah, then next one is um… Okuda-kun?
OKUDA: (nervously) Yes, um… Um… (his voice fades out)
SORA: Uwah…! I was so nervous… Well, at least now it feels like I’ve just overcome the first obstacle!
MORI: Ohara Sora…?!
SORA: Eh…? A-ah, yeah.
MORI: By Ohara Sora, you mean… Don’t tell me…
MORI: You’re the Ohara Sora…?!
SORA: ‘The’…?
(Mori suddenly stands up)
SORA: Uwa—e-eh…?
MORI: Woah…! Woah, this is amazing!
SORA: Eh? E-eh? What?
MORI: (in awe) I knew that you were from a school in the same [Saitama] prefecture, but to think…! To think that I’d meet you in a place like this…!
TEACHER: Okay, thank you. Then, next one up i--
MORI: Ohara Sora-kun!
TEACHER/SORA: Eh?
MORI: I…
MORI: I’m your fan!
TEACHER/SORA: Pardon?
***
(cicadas chirping)
SOSHI: (sighs) (to himself) How many times have I been back to the hospital, huh…
NURSE A: Kagurazaka-san, sorry for making you wait.
SOSHI: Yes. (Soshi stands up)
NURSE B: Oh? Soshi-kun, are you alone? Where’s your father or your mother?
SOSHI: My younger sister suddenly got sick yesterday so they’re taking care of her.
SOSHI: I’m only here to listen to the medical examination results so I think I’ll be fine alone.
NURSE B: A-ah, I see…
SOSHI: I’ll be fine alone.
NURSE: Soshi-kun…
DOCTOR: It’s a rotator cuff tear.
SOSHI: Yes.
DOCTOR: Shall I explain in detail?
DOCTOR: The rotator cuff is a set of small muscles, tendons, that are connected to the shoulder joint.
DOCTOR: It’s an important part in order for the shoulders to work but—
SOSHI: Doctor.
DOCTOR: Yes?
SOSHI: Will I be able to… play in my next match?
DOCTOR: Hmm…
SOSHI: I’m a starter player. I think that it’d be troublesome for the team if I don’t tell them properly.
DOCTOR: I think it will be a little difficult for you to play in the next match.
SOSHI: Is that so?
SOSHI: By that you mean… it’ll be difficult for me to play in the matches after that, too, right?
DOCTOR: Yes, that’s right.
SOSHI: I understand.
DOCTOR: I heard that Kagurazaka-kun is a very strong player. Your coach gave you such high praises for being able to be the leading player that will take the team to Nationals.
DOCTOR: I think it won’t be a lasting problem in the future if it’s only light exercise or fun play. However…
SOSHI: Doctor.
DOCTOR: Yes?
SOSHI: I don’t have an idea how many high school students play basketball. But, I can imagine that there are a lot of exceptional ones.
SOSHI: I… I managed to even go to Nationals once.
SOSHI: No matter how much I practiced, I managed to stand in a place that many people couldn’t go to.
SOSHI: I think… I’ll probably remember the scenery, the feeling, and even the smell of the air during that time forever.
SOSHI: I managed to make good memories.
SOSHI: I played basketball with all my might.
SOSHI: I’m satisfied.
DOCTOR: Is that so?
SOSHI: Yes. Of course, I won’t lie that I did feel like I wanted to try going to Nationals again this time.
SOSHI: Still, I think that I’ve already done what I had to do.
SOSHI: That’s why it’s not them [who I think are at fault], it might be me.
DOCTOR: Kagurazaka-kun, even if you can’t play basketball competitively anymore, your life will still continue on.
DOCTOR: It’s not like what you’ve accomplished is for nothing. You can still do a lot more with the willpower you have inside you.
DOCTOR: I feel like if it’s you, you can do a lot more than play basketball.
DOCTOR: Please take care.
SOSHI: Yes, thank you very much.

(automatic doors to the hospital open and close)
SORA: (in a panicked tone) Soshi…
SOSHI: Sora? You… Why are you here?
SOSHI: This is the university hospital, you know?
SOSHI: Did you come all the way here on the train?
SORA: It’s… When I came to visit you at home you weren’t there and…
SORA: Auntie said that Rise-chan’s sick so she couldn’t come with you and… Rise-chan was crying so…
SORA: So… I thought that I had to go to where you are.
SOSHI: I see.
SOSHI: Well, the medical exam’s over.
SORA: Eh? For real?
SOSHI: For real. I only came here to listen to the results so it wasn’t that long.
SORA: Ah… I see… And so?
SOSHI: Well, how do I say this? I guess I played too much basketball back in middle school.
SOSHI: Guess I have to find a new hobby.
SORA: (starts crying softly)
SOSHI: Stu~pid~ Why are you the one crying?
SORA: I’m not crying!
SOSHI: Even though I’m not crying.
SORA: That’s why I’m crying! (Sora sniffles)
SOSHI: See? You really are crying.
SORA: (in between sniffles) I mean… You did your best a lot… at basketball and…
(Soshi walks closer to Sora)
SOSHI: Sora.
SORA: What?
SOSHI: Thank you.
SORA: (continues crying)
***
SORA: Ah… I cried…
SORA: I cried after a long time.
SOSHI: Yeah, you totally did~
SOSHI: I got anxious about someone being bothered by your wailing in front of the hospital so I had to take you somewhere else.
SORA: Well, sorry about that.
SOSHI: Here, water. Hydrate yourself properly or else you’ll collapse from dehydration.
SORA: (opens the bottle and starts drinking) I would’ve preferred carbonated water though.
SOSHI: Oh-ho~ (he starts snatching away the water bottle from Sora)
SORA: A-ah, I was lying! Sorry! I said, sorry!
SORA: Thank you very much! I’ll treasure the valuable water that you gave me.
SOSHI: You should’ve just accepted it just like that, y’know~?
SORA: U-uwah…
(Sora continues drinking)
SORA: When we were in middle school, you used to drink big gulpfuls of water, huh?
SOSHI: I looked cool, right~
SORA: I thought that you should just explode.2
SOSHI: Hey, you.
SORA: That just means that you were so cool. Though it’s annoying.
SOSHI: I see.
SOSHI: Well, that’s obvious?
SORA: Learn some proper manners! Courtesy, humility!
SORA: Ah, geez. This might be late but you looked real cool when you played basketball, Soshi!
SORA: Great job.
SOSHI: Yeah, that’s right. Thank you.
SORA: Yeah.
SORA: (gets up from the swing) Alrighty~ Let’s go home, Sou.
SOSHI: Roger~
SORA: (gasps)
SOSHI: What’s wrong?
SORA: Lend me some money, Sou. I didn’t bring money for the fare home.
SOSHI: Don’t you have a card with you?
SORA: I didn’t think I’d be riding the train so I didn’t bring it with me!
SOSHI: For real? What were you gonna do if you didn’t see me?
SORA: I only just realized that now, too!
***
(alarm beeping)
MORI: O-oh…
MORI/SOU: I fell asleep…
MORI: Sou…?
SOSHI: Mori.
SOSHI: Um… Is this… Sora’s room?
MORI: Yeah… Looks like it…
MORI: Where’s Sora…?
SORA: (snoring loudly)
SORA: (sleep-talking) W-w-w-wait, I can’t eat anymore… (laughs)
SOSHI: Looks like he’s sound asleep while having a really bizarre dream.
MORI: A-ah… (laughs)
MORI: Ah, I remember now. Sora suddenly said ‘It’s a SOARA drinking party!’ when we were on our way home from our walk last night.
SOSHI: Well, even though he said that it only felt like we were drinking juice. Either way, it’s what he does before a deadline comes close.
MORI: He might get a great idea when he comes to later.
SOSHI: Mo~ri, you’re always spoiling Sora no matter what happens.
SOSHI: Ah, I remembered something, too.
SOSHI: This guy got too caught up and--
SORA: (sleep-talking) No, that’s not steak…
SOSHI: He kept bringing up our high-school memories.
MORI: Ah, right. He brought out some pictures and—Ah! So that’s why I had such a nostalgic dream.
SOSHI: Dream?
MORI: Yeah, I saw a really nostalgic dream.
MORI: It was about the day I shouted ‘Ohara Sora-kun!’ out loud during our first day’s self-introductions.
SOSHI: Uwah~ That totally happened.
SOSHI: Just think how we all reacted after a model student such as you suddenly shouted and grabbed a boy’s hand.
MORI: (chuckles) I wish you’d forget that.
MORI: I thought ‘Ah, what did I do?’ afterwards. I was too overcome with emotion that time so please let it slide.
SOSHI: You’re still a serious fan of Sora’s music even today though.
MORI: As expected from Soshi, you know it so well.
SOSHI: I know it even if I don’t want to.
SOSHI: Oh yeah, I had a nostalgic dream, too.
MORI: Eh? You, too?
SOSHI: Yeah, it was a dream from when I found out I couldn’t play basketball anymore.
SOSHI: Guess I remember it so well, huh.
SOSHI: Like the cicadas chirping, or the sunlight, or the smell of the hospital’s hallway and stuff. It felt too real for a dream.
MORI: I see.
MORI: Um, Soshi, this might be a little late but…
SOSHI: Hm?
MORI: I was really shocked when I heard that you were going to quit the basketball team during summer vacation.
SOSHI: You were? Why?
MORI: Why, you ask. Of course it’s because I was unaware of one of my friend’s big problems.
MORI: And then, when I found out, you were already decided on quitting. I think that’s why I was so shocked.
MORI: It would’ve been nice if you could have told me over text or on the phone. I wanted to be there for you even though I probably couldn’t do much.
SOSHI: Ah, well. Weren’t you away overseas during vacation?
SOSHI: You were dragged by your musician parents on their European tour, weren’t you? I thought it’d be rude to tell you some bad news while you were enjoying yourselves overseas.
MORI: Rude, you say. I just—
SOSHI: Ah, I know. Sorry. I’ll definitely tell you if something similar happens in the future.
MORI: Absolutely, okay?
MORI: But, I’ll pray that nothing like that happens again. I don’t want that kind of problem to happen to my friends.
SOSHI: Guess you’re right.
SORA: (sleep-talking) Yes~ Number one, Ohara Sora. I’ll sing now~
SOSHI: He’s still sound asleep. Whenever I see this guy’s face like that I feel like nothing bad’s gonna happen.
SOSHI: It makes me think of how peaceful it is~
MORI: (chuckles) Yes, that’s a good thing. He’s so sound asleep, huh~
MORI: I’m glad I set an alarm. If I didn’t, the two of us would probably still be asleep until late like Sora.
SOSHI: Totally.
SOSHI: Hm? What’s the alarm for anyway? Do we have something to do today?
MORI: Eh? Now that you mention it…
(knocking on the door)
NOZOMU: (over the door) Sora, wake up!
REN: (over the door) Sora-senpai! Are you awake?
REN: (bangs on the door) Please wake up! And also, do you know where Soshi-senpai and Morihito-senpai are?
REN: (over the door) If we don’t leave for the agency soon, we won’t make it.
MORI/SOU: That’s it!
MORI: (scrambling to get up) Ren, Nozomu, I’m sorry!
MORI: Me and Sou are here with Sora. We just got up and we’re gonna get ready now so—
(Mori starts cleaning things up)
SOSHI: Mori, we can leave the cleaning for later.
SOSHI: Come on, wake up, Sora! (Soshi pulls the futon from underneath Sora)
SORA: Huh? So-Sou…?! Woah! Wh-wha--
MORI: Good morning, Sora.
SORA: Eh? Mori?
SOSHI: Come on, get up. Wash your face. Come on, go, go.
SORA: Sou?! (Soshi starts to push Sora) W-w-wait… E-eh?
SORA: E-eh…? Where am I? Who’s here?3
MORI: Your name is Ohara Sora. You’re the composer and leader of a youthful band.
MORI: We are your members and we’re currently hurrying because we’re running late.
SOSHI: We’re all supposed to be at the agency today, right? We have to be there in 20 minutes.
SOSHI: So, come on, hurry up and get ready.
SORA: Eh? W-wait, don’t push me, Sou! Ahhhhh!!
REN: (laughs nervously) W-well, at the very least, it’s great that we found the three of them.
NOZOMU: Th-though it sounds like a lot’s happening on the other side of the door, huh…
REN: Yeah. Nozomu, shall we wait for them while drinking tea?
NOZOMU: Yeah, let’s~

Translator’s Notes:
1 Ohara Sora is written in kanji like this “大原 空” the “大/oo” character stands for “big/large” and the “原/hara” character can be found in the word “原っぱ” which means “open field/plain”, thus, “大原/oohara” can mean/can be alliterated to “big, open field”. And of course, “空/sora” means “sky”.
2 Sora has mentioned in another drama CD before that “all cool people should just explode” XD
3 Sora actually confuses asking “Who am I? Where is this?” so that’s why Mori answers him like that.

Wedding Planning with the Quell Boys ❀
Growth | SOARA | SolidS | Quell
Izumi Shu:
He was the epitome of calm and collected. He breezed through the variety of selections you prepared for him, picking the best ones in a matter of minutes all while being his courteous, gentlemanly self. When he couldn’t be there because of work, he had Eichi tag along if the brunet was free.
He couldn’t help but laugh at the way you stared awestruck at him during suits shopping, finding it a little unfair that he couldn’t come along to look at wedding dresses with you, but he still wanted to follow tradition.
Once it’s the day of the wedding, he feels a mix of excitement and fear which makes him rather restless. However he’s banned from doing anything by Eichi and the twins, the three of them assuring their beloved leader that they have the final preparations under control and that he should just sit back and relax (maybe even take a short nap so that he’ll be more refreshed for the ceremony). Unfortunately, this just makes him even more restless as his imagination starts to go wild.
He finally breathes a sigh of relief once he’s at the altar, only to frown at his best man, Eichi for carrying a handy cam with him even though you two have already hired professionals to handle capturing the memories of the big day. He soon relents with a chuckle when the music starts, his attention returning to the doors to watch you walk down the aisle.
He remembers the look on your face when the two of you went suits shopping, wondering if he was making the same expression right now and suddenly feels a rare moment of self-consciousness.
Of course, the tables soon turn again once you start exchanging vows and you’re in tears but also blushing at his straightforward promises because you knew without a doubt in your mind that he would keep every single one of them.
Horimiya Eichi:
He’s got so much energy that he could rival Nozomu! Just the thought of planning a wedding makes him so excited! Of course, his job as an idol and Quell’s mom meant that he couldn’t be there to help out as much as he wanted to. But he still called or texted regularly to make sure you were okay and to ask if there was anything he could do to help you with over the phone.
Naturally, the brunet is jealous that he doesn’t get to go dress shopping with you but he manages to distract himself with other things…like the camerawork that would go into recording your precious day. His ex-AD habits kicking in, he’s in total control of everything from camera positions and lighting right down to each camera’s individual lens and shutter speeds.
He spends most of the morning of your wedding doing that until Shu finally finds him and brings him back to his room to help him get ready. Once he’s dressed, the panic sets in and he’s freaking out over everything.
Does he look alright? Oh, why was his hair always so unruly?! Wait. What about his vows? He could’ve sworn he wrote them down somewhere but where?
At the same time he doesn’t really care about all of that because of the excitement that you two were finally getting married today!
But he’s also scared of what could go wrong. What if one of the lights stops working? Or someone trips over a camera cord and accidentally unplugs it? Oh god, what if someone forgets to press the record button?!
All these mixed emotions have him ruffling up his hair, turning it into an even bigger mess.
Utterly lost at what to do, best man Shu looks to the twins for suggestions when they nearly give him a heart attack.
“How about a shot of vodka? I heard it works great for stuff like this!”
“Vod—where did you hear something like that?!”
“Ah, I heard about that too. I ran into Soshi-san from SOARA in the hallway just now and he said something similar. He said he heard it from Koki-san so it must be true.”
He’s more than a little skeptical but decides to head to the bar to ask Shiki for some advice (Tsubasa spitting out his drink once he hears what’s been going around).
One way or another, Eichi somehow finds himself at the altar waiting for you. He takes a few deep breaths to calm himself down when he finds it stolen by how lovely you look walking down the aisle. In that moment, his mind turns completely blank, all his worries and stress melting away with every step you took towards him.
Once you stand beside him on the altar, he feels his heart welling up at the fact that you two are about to start the rest of your lives together.
Kuga Issei:
He goes along with most of your decisions; you both have similar tastes so he doesn’t really have a complaint about anything. There is one thing he’s scared of though, and that’s how fast everything is going. It seemed like it was only yesterday that the two of you started dating but now you’re already looking at wedding invitations together.
He’s worried whether he would be a good husband but once he voices his concerns to the other Quell members he receives a short chuckle from Shu and a pat on the shoulder from Eichi, assuring him that he was more than capable of making you happy while Ichiru starts boasting about all of Issei’s good points and how crazy someone would be if they didn’t want to marry him. Of course Issei has a talk with you as well, asking you one more time if you were really sure that he was the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.
On the day of the wedding he looks calm but everyone knows better about how nervous he actually is. What calms him down is Ichiru squishing his cheeks and then pressing his forehead against Issei’s, reminding him how much you two love each other and how he’s gonna be there with his older brother every step of the way.
While he watches you walk down the aisle, he finds his heart filling with gratitude. He went from having no one else but Ichiru by his side to both of them finding a family in Quell. And now, his family was only going to get bigger.
He blinks in surprise once you place a hand to his cheek, looking worriedly at him as you wipe away a tear. He places his own hand over yours, shaking his head with a smile to assure you that he was alright.
Both of you are about to face the minister when you hear best man Ichiru shout ‘Shut up, I’m not crying!’ and turn around in time to watch the black haired idol snatch a tissue from Eichi’s hand and blow his nose into it while the brunet laughs.
Kuga Ichiru:
He doesn’t really get what most of the fancy stuff is…but he’ll do his best to help out! His intentions are there but his energy soon dims after looking at one too many fabrics of the same color. Seriously, what was the difference between champagne and antique white?
Unfortunately his brother/best man is just as lost, shaking his head once Ichiru looked at him.
You can’t help but laugh at their confusion, coming to their rescue by asking Eichi to take over while you went to meet up with some of your friends and Rikka for wedding dress shopping.
The next few days, the raven haired idol is all pouty because he was the only one that hadn’t seen your wedding dress yet. Even Tsubasa got to see it for crying out loud! Meanwhile, all Ichiru had to go on were vague descriptions he happened to overhear from the other Quell members talking about it.
Still with each passing day, his heart was also pounding more and more and before he knew it, it was the day of the wedding.
His brain decides to shut down in the middle of his practice vows and he soon begins to forget even the simplest words. Issei tries to suggest the infamous vodka shot only to have Shu shoot the idea down.
But still, nobody knows Ichiru better than Issei so he’s instantly calmed down by his older brother’s words, remembering the feelings from when you two first decided to get married.
Once he sees you walk down the aisle, he bites his lower lip in an attempt to stop the tears in his eyes from spilling. It was at that moment that he realized how far he’s come: from him and Issei being the runaway children at sixteen, to becoming part of Quell, to now…where he was about to start a family of his very own. You offer a small smile once you reach him, Ichiru replying with a nod and his usual grin.
Watching the two of you, best man Issei finds his own eyes wet with tears at the sight of his little brother getting married and smiling so brightly next to the one he loves. A tear streams down his face while Eichi pats his shoulder, the waterworks already starting on his end while Shu silently reaches for his handkerchief with a knowing smile.

[Translation] SOARA - Wonder Wand Drama Track 3
For some reason, Tumblr won’t let me upload the third track’s audio so I’ll just post it as a text post for now ^^
Track 3 - [LIVE Behind-the-Scenes (With a Handy Camera)]
Under the cut for length, enjoy~
Track 3 - 「ライブの舞台裏(望のハンディカメラにて)」 LIVE Behind-the-Scenes (With a Handy Camera)
(camera beeps)
NOZOMU: It’s me, Nozomu, behind the camera again~
NOZOMU: We just arrived at the concert venue!
NOZOMU: I’m going to interview the SOARA members as they come down the bus now~
SORA: We’re finally here! SOARA’s the best!
MORI: We’ll do our best.
SOSHI: Yay~ Just kidding.
REN: G-g-good afternoon…!
NOZOMU: Ren-kun’s too conscious of the camera so his movements are a little stiff.
REN: Shut up, Nozomu.
(they walk inside)
***
(people chattering)
NOZOMU: (quietly) We’re in rehearsal right now~! We’ll do our best.
SORA: SOARA’s about to start rehearsal! I’m the leader, Ohara Sora. Everyone in the staff, we’ll be in your care today.
SOARA: Please take care of us!
(applause)
***
(equipment being tested in the background)
MORI: Moving around too much here will be a little dangerous considering the stage’s lay-out. What should we do?
(Soshi playing drums in the background)
REN: Excuse me! Can we please increase the volume at the beginning?
(guitar playing in the background)
NOZOMU: Is the lighting for this part already okay for the real event?
***
NOZOMU: We’re in the middle of make-up right now!
NOZOMU: Alright, a question! Who do you think is behind this white facial pack~?
SOSHI: You’re gonna film even here?
NOZOMU: Yep~ You can tell from the voice, right? It was Soshi-senpai!
NOZOMU: He’s taking care of his skin before the live starts~
SORA: I… still can’t… get used to seeing Soshi use a facial pack…
SOSHI: Leave it. I’m the one who thinks that the most.
MORI: (giggles)
***
NOZOMU: (quietly) Here’s a special footage of the meeting before the concert begins~
NOZOMU: (quietly) Reading the official script of the schedules and arrangement for the live, we can figure out what part we need to work on and what part is already good.
MORI: What should we do about our positions during the emcee part?
MORI: Do you have any suggestions?
SORA: Is my position during this part already good enough?
REN: I’ll be walking onto the stage after the back dancers have come out, correct?
SOSHI: And I’ll be right behind him. Is that correct?
***
(people chattering)
NOZOMU: I’m back! It seems like they’ve already started seating people around the stadium.
NOZOMU: The fans’ voices might be faint but I can hear them through the monitor~!
NOZOMU: Thank you for coming today!
REN: Thank you very much!
SORA: Ah! That girl. She was there during the first live, too!
MORI: Eh? Which one?
SORA: There. Um… By the goods corner. The brown-haired one wearing a white dress.
MORI: Ah, I see. Her face is easy to remember. I’m happy that she’s come again and again.
SORA: Right~ Have fun, okay~
***
(people chattering)
NOZOMU: Alright! It’s finally time to start!
SORA: Is everyone here?
SOSHI: Wait a sec.
SOSHI: Ren forgot his glove so he went backstage to get it.
NOZOMU: Ren suddenly got all nervous. (giggles)
NOZOMU: Is he gonna be okay~?
(Ren running)
REN: I’m so sorry for making you wait!
SORA: Alright! SOARA, let’s form a circle~
SORA: Let’s charge our engines~
MORI: Let’s.
SOSHI: Oh? You’re letting him do it, Mori?
SORA: You’re gonna make my cry! Those words have malice in them!
REN: Uwah~ Nozomu really has gotten taller.
NOZOMU: Are you having trouble? Want me to bend down?
REN: I’ll get upset if you do. It’s fine!
SORA: Alright, everyone. Are you ready?
SORA: Let’s give our all to the music and let’s enjoy this to the fullest!
SOARA: YEAH!
(audience cheering)
