a lot of how he handles his anger is rooted in zanza’s influence tbh, but not all of it. the closing himself off and getting dismissive and snappish? fuckin absolutely zanza. the “MECHOOOOOOOOOOOON”? ... probably shulk, actually, though i could see zanza throwing some more fuel on it to make sure he did what he needed to be doing.

even postgame those reflexes are still there but it’s easier to work on them without an annoyed god sleeping in your head

the most likely of the colony 9 trio to hold a grudge, but they’re all tiny petty things (and tbh still pretty uncommon, that’s just putting him up against reyn, who has never held a grudge in his life and fiora, whose anger doesn’t last unless someone’s knowingly continuing to be a Bastard). definitely prone to the self-loathing spiral of “this thing isn’t working correctly and i can’t wrap my head around why so i’ll get angry at myself for it.”
