I am so proud

I honestly couldn’t be more proud of Matt, Harry and all the others of the cast and crew who work their butts of to make Shadowhunters so amazing. 

They deserve this so much and I am so, so proud of Matt and Harry for portraying one of the most realistic lgbtq couples on tv nowadays. The love they have for their characters but also for Malec is astounding and we are so blessed to have them as our Magnus and Alec <3

Also, Shumdario has risen so everyone thinking their friendship was damaged can now kindly leave.

I'm with you on the speech thing. I can't watch people I like make speeches either. I don't know why I just feel really awkward watching them even more so if it's happening live although even when I know what they say from seeing it on gifs or articles or whatever a lot of the time I still can't get myself to watch the speech. Like I really wanna watch Matt and Harry's speech but I just know that I'm not going to be able to do it. So frustrating ugh.

Unpopular opinion

I saw a photo once in instagram of Matt and the caption said that she wished (the user) that Matt would come inside of her. Now, I know there are some certain people in the fandom. What triggers me is that she tagged him in the photo. He won't comment on it, that's for sure but he will see it. Imagine how uncomfortable he would be.

The same happens when people tag both Harry and Matt in those edits of them, not like Magnus and Alec but as themselves, wishing it would be real. Wishing they were romantically involved.

I know that that exists in every fandom, it's a given. But I don't think that they should know how you want him to bench you or that you wish they were a couple.

The same happens with this unncessary hate for Esther. Look, I don't follow her but I know she supports Matt in everything he does and that she is nice and damnit, that should be enough for the fandom to quit their temper tantrums. Just because Matt won't bench you and choke you (as I read in another post), you get the right to throw hate on her girlfriend (possibly fiancè). If Harry were in the same position, Shelby would get hate too.

All I'm saying is keep it to yourself and your mutuals. Matt doesn't need to know about how you want him in bed. Esther doesn't need your hate. Harry doesn't need to know about how all you wish Shumdario were a couple and not the good friends they are.

I would hate to see Shumdario dies just because some of the fandom are in dire need of to see them as a couple and make it awkward
