I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Artists For Humanity (AFH) for an amazing experience. Working with such a creative and supportive team has been truly inspiring. From the engaging projects to the valuable mentorship, every moment has contributed to my growth and learning. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic environment and to work alongside talented individuals like Jainan. Day 5

Having a supportive buddy like Jainan during my time at Artists For Humanity (AFH) made a big difference. He was always there to help, offer advice, and share experiences. Whether we were working on a project or just discussing ideas, their support made the experience enjoyable and rewarding. At AFH, having someone like Jainan to turn to for guidance and encouragement really enhanced my learning and made the journey even more memorable.

Day 4

An inspiring mentor at Artists For Humanity (AFH) was Jay, who led the 3D design team. With 20 years as a licensed architect before he switched to art, Jay showed us that exploring new interests is always possible. His extensive experience and encouragement were invaluable, helping us learn and grow. At AFH, mentorship goes beyond teaching skills it’s about inspiring and motivating us to pursue our passions and try new things. Jay’s guidance was a key part of our learning experience.

Day 3

A project that really inspired me at Artists For Humanity (AFH) is the art installation at the Gillette factory in South Boston. The client wanted to brighten up the front parking area, which was dull and uninviting. They suggested adding some nature-inspired art to make it more welcoming.

The team created artificial plants to surround the site, turning it into a lively and attractive space. The 3D design team, the graphics team, and the teens at AFH all worked together on this project.

Day 2

It looks like a place where intercultural competence is a big part of daily life. At Artists For Humanity (AFH), this means understanding and valuing everyone’s different backgrounds. Teens from various cultures work together, sharing their unique perspectives.

At AFH, this focus on inclusion helps everyone feel respected and heard. It creates a lively, creative environment where different cultures come together to make something special, showing that diversity makes teamwork stronger.
