उनके नीलकमल और गंभीर जल से भरे हुए मेघ के समान श्याम शरीर में करोड़ों कामदेवों की शोभा है। लाल-लाल चरण कमलों के नखों की शुभ्र ज्योति ऐसी मालूम होती है, जैसे लाल कमल के पत्तों पर मोती स्थिर हो गए हों।

चरणतलों में वज्र, ध्वजा और अंकुश के चिह्न शोभित हैं। नूपुर की ध्वनि सुनकर मुनियों का भी मन मोहित हो जाता है। कमर में करधनी और पेट पर तीन रेखाएँ हैं। नाभि की गंभीरता को तो वही जानते हैं, जिन्होंने उसे देखा है।

‘Reports of time capsule at temple site baseless’

AYODHYA: Reports circulating in the media about a time capsule being placed beneath the site of the Ram temple, Ayodhya are baseless, said Champat Rai, general secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, on Tuesday. “All reports about placing of a time capsule under the ground at Ram Temple construction site on August 5 are false. Do not believe in any such rumour,” Rai said.

His statement, however, comes after the trust president, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, on Monday had said that it is true and it will be done. But, he also said that he does not have much information about the time capsule. “It is 100 per cent correct that a time capsule, enlisting the history and facts related to the Ram Janmabhoomi, will be placed thousands of feet below the construction site. It will be done in order to ensure that there are no disputes in the future. A grand Ram Temple will be built here and all arrangements are in place for Bhoomi Pujan,” he said. “I do not have much information about time capsule, but it will be placed below the construction site,” he added. This comes after Trust member Kameshwar Chaupal on Sunday said that a time capsule, enlisting the history and facts related to the Ram Janmabhoomi, will be placed thousands of feet below the construction site to ensure that there are no disputes in the future. Chaupal, who is the lone Dalit member of the Trust, also said that soil from various teerths (pilgrimages) across the country and water from the sacred rivers is being brought to Ayodhya for ‘Abhisheka’ during the ‘bhoomi-pujan’ which is scheduled to be conducted on August 5 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, according to Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin after the ceremony to lay the foundation stone (bhoomi poojan) in which chief ministers of many states, ministers from the union cabinet and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are also likely to participate. According to sources, the ‘bhoomi poojan’ of the temple is to be celebrated on the lines of the festival of light — Diwali — with all temples and houses across the country to be lit up with diyas and candles. The Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, set up in accordance with the Supreme Court verdict, held its second meeting last week. In March this year, the ‘Ram Lalla’ idol was shifted to a temporary structure. The SC on November 9 last year had directed the central government to hand over the site at Ayodhya for the construction of a Ram temple.

The first ‘informal’ meeting of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, set up to oversee the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, will be held on February 19 in New Delhi, said Kameshwar Choupal, the lone Dalit member in the 15-member trust.“The first informal meeting, a kind of a get-together of the members of the trust, has been summoned for February 19 in New Delhi at the residence of the senior-most member in the trust, K Parasaran.”According to Choupal, the purpose of the meeting was to enable all the members to discuss the key points pertaining to the construction of the temple.On February 5, the Union Cabinet announced formation of the trust, meeting a three-month deadline set by the Supreme Court, which in November awarded a disputed plot of land in the holy city to Hindu claimants who believe the site marks the birthplace of the revered god.The decision, acclaimed by allies of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)-led government and Hindu religious figures, was announced in the Lok Sabha by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in line with a court directive that a scheme be prepared before February 9 to form such a trust and the land be transferred to it for the temple’s construction.At the same time, an alternative plot of 5 acres to be given to the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Wakf Board has been identified and was approved by the UP state cabinet on Wednesday for the construction of a mosque. It was not clear if the Sunni Waqf Board would accept the land, situated in Dhannipur village in Sohawal tehsil of Ayodhya district.“I am happy to share with my fellow Indians that important decisions have been taken with regard to Ram Janmabhoomi. These are in line with the verdict of the Honourable Supreme Court of India,” Modi had said in Parliament to chants of Jai Shri Ram by members of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) .Speaking over the phone from Patna, Choupal said: “I was the one who had laid the first ‘Ram Shila (brick)’ at the shilanyas on November 9, 1989. The Dharm-Sansad held at Prayag before the shilanyas had mandated that a Dalit would lay the first brick and I was named to do so. And I did. I was then a member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. 81-year-old #UrmilaChaturvedi, a resident of #Jabalpur, vowed that after the disputed structure collapsed 28 years ago, she will not accept food until the construction of the #RamTemple begins and now when #Bhoomipujan is going to be done for the construction of the Ram temple on August 5. Urmila sees her resolve fulfilled.

Urmila Chaturvedi was 53 when the structure collapsed in 1992. When there were riots in the country after the collapse of the structure, Urmila had taken a pledge that on the day the construction of the temple would start with the consent of everyone, she would take food.
