What can I say about @amberarden ? I could write a book about this real-life princess! Today I wanted to feature my “sister” from the Show Yourself video🎵 (psssst have you seen it yet? Link in bio! 😉) she’s also basically my sister in real life too! I consider Amber (and her husband Eric) family. ⠀ ⠀ This girl is one of the most supportive people I have ever known. She is endlessly generous, positive & joyful. Amber & Eric traveled to Utah to help us film a music video not once, but twice!!! Just like Anna, Amber braved the cold & the “deep deep deep deep snow” (which we are standing in here- it was up to our knees!) & not only acted in the video, but also stood next to me for every shot, throwing a jacket on me in between takes to keep me warm. She was constantly encouraging me, & taking bts on her phone. AND y’all she looked so ridiculously fashionable & cute doing it-whether in costume or not! (On my off days I was in sweatpants & no makeup- but she always showed up on point! Haha) But that’s Amber! A true princess - even when she was out of costume the kids at the resort came up to her and wanted to meet her! She inspires smiles wherever she goes.❤️⠀ ⠀ I want to be more like her. On the days when I’m consumed by pain, fear or depression, I think of Amber & she inspires me to keep smiling, keep striving to serve others, & keep doing what I can to make my little corner of the world a better place. There’s a part of me that’s sad that everyone in the world won’t get the chance to be friends with Amber Arden. I don’t know what I did to deserve her light in my life, but I am so so grateful God brought me a friend like her. She wove wonder and joy into gowns, hope and song into crowns, and poured love into all she made. She outfitted royals & peasants alike, and was unaffected by status, age, heritage, color or shape. All the Kingdoms subjects were winsome in her eyes, and worthy of her magical touch. Toddlers stumbled & bumbled about in the gossamer wings she adorned them with. Creatures came from faraway lands to be transformed into what they always dreamed they might be. And of course Princesses and Queens were robed in her magical regalia. ⠀ ⠀ One day the Fairy Godmother traveled a great distance to see a newly crowned Queen, who was struggling with her identity. While observing the Queen’s plight, she witnessed something transformative. The Queen had also traveled a great distance, to find her fate, and when she arrived, she found exactly what she was looking for all along: herself. The magic that came from her acceptance transformed the Queen into pure Spirit right in front of the Fairy’s eyes, and for once in her life the Fairy Godmother wasn’t required to do anything but testify of the happenings that occurred. “Here I am I’ve come so far...“ 🎶 Here’s just a little sneak peek of me ‘showing myself’ filming at the insanely beautiful @icecastles_ ! GUYS WE ARE SO CLOSE!!! The music for this cover is still top secret, but here’s a little bts visual to remind ya that it’s coming soon! I keep going MIA b/c I am so busy finishing up the video with my amazing team (aka my incredibly talented friends & family!) that I keep forgetting to post updates! But I promise, this one will be worth the wait. ⠀ ⠀ Usually I’m not so confident... but this one is something else. I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this inspired and led to do a cover. The way this all happened was downright supernatural; I really believe God’s hand is on this project. I don’t know how else to describe it. 🙏🏼 ⠀ ⠀ We have so many surprises in store, and I can’t wait to share them all with you! I don’t ever want to over-hype anything, but I can truly say I think this is one of the most beautiful projects I’ve ever had the honor of producing. And it’s all because of my friends & family who are a part of this. They are SO talented, and I just cannot flippin’ wait to introduce them to you-some of them for the very first time! ⠀ ⠀ As I sing these lyrics, they ring so true in my heart. I’m a new, more complete version of myself now -more me than I ever was before. I have come so far. Not because I’m anything special, but because I’m surrounded by the best people who’ve taught me so much, because I’ve worked so hard and refused to give up, and most of all b/c I’ve trusted the Lord with my future. I still have so far to go, but I feel like I’m finally starting to create the projects that matter the most. I usually don’t feel like this about covers, but this one is special.
