Close ups. ^.^ i was contemplating if should gloss his lips... But i stopped myself. I like my boys not to have glossy lips.. The paint itself shines sometimes. I glossed his eye well a bit and that's it. I tried all paints, acrylic, watercolor and gouache, and my winner is gouache, tho it dries faster and gives a matte look, it gives more natural look than acrylic. And it is easier to clean if there is a mistake.. Tho it is harder to learn using airbrush with it but it is easier to clean coz all i need is water and i do not have to use thinner... Tuesday shot is a close up For #myweeklydoll_kahel #myweeklydoll How many years i have this acrylic eyes... I always thought of changing them to silicone... Like enchanted, doll bakery and mako... I have them on my other dolls... But this acrylic just catch light so good with less effort!!! I could not graduate from acrylic at all. They have more options and if done right they are really great and i don't have to spend a fortune. My silicones were so sensitive, dust collectors and have greater potential to yellow. Silicones are great for those dolls that have strange eye wells... Coz they are soft, you can squeeze them right there.. But with me who loves dolls with long bangs and cat eyes and anime colors... I am still learning how to use the airbrush...and i got a really cheap one... I've been figthing with sealant too..so when the paint came out with lots of texture... I was so done lol so i just leave it and told myself to practice with strokes for the meantime. It turned out to my liking.
