I like watching/rewatching shows (most common rewatches are Legends of Korra, Arcane, and Castlevania), drawing (considering getting into digital art and animation too at some point), writing (aspiring writer lol, though not as a career), talking to/hanging out with friends (my favorite people in the world!), D&D (mostly DM now but I enjoy being a player also), cooking & baking (shall one day be able to make any food), martial arts (do Taekwondo, but looking to get into stuff like BJJ, Boxing or MMA at some point) and many, many other things!

Was apart of the petre community longer and way before I was apart of the therian community so I gotchu bro

There's not a lot of resources for specifically pet regression since age regression overlaps with it quite a lot and so it's often paired with agere even if it is it's own thing

General regression definition is that :

Regression is when someone regresses either into a younger mindset or into an animal mindset either to cope with mental disorders or stress or it can be recreational. Regression can be both involuntary and voluntary and regression is always sfw and should not be associated with nsfw at all 🚫

Pet regression is when someone regresses into a more animal like mindstate. It's been described as feeling hazy or like one is in a dream and a lot of behaviors become more primal and tied to instinct where you're no longer really thinking like a human but more animal, not unlike a mental shift actually! But with pet regression it's usually a lot more like- softer sometimes (in my experience, can vary for everyone) and the term is called [xanimal]space or headspace instead of mental shift and you usually feel more younger than what a mental shift would feel (think of pupspace instead of a wolf mental shift). These animalistic behaviors when you're in this softer headspace can mimic other animals and for pet regression in specific, claiming a "pet-type" is taken a lot more casually than theriotypes (usually based off vibes) and so even if you may be a dog therian, you could also regress to a bunny because it just feels nice because one of the biggest reasons other people pet regress is because of the comfort it gives people so if you wanna be a little baby bunny even if it's not your theriotype because it makes you happy then go for it dude!

Also pet regression isn't just limited to domestic animals! I was a dragon regressor (among other things) and I've seen unicorn regressors on reddit

Also unlike mental shifts, most times, apart of the petre community culture is voluntarily inducing the headspace (even if it can be involuntary) by watching cartoons or looking at moodboards of baby puppies or playing puppy games and stuff.

Petre gear is honestly similar to therian gear, you have the ear headpands and the tails and collars are very common. Also chewelry and even actual pet toys. Sometimes, because of the overlap with agere, some pet regressors also use adult deco pacifiers and baby bottles.

There's honestly more I could prolly rant about but I hate being a yapper 😭 so if you have any questions, I'll answer them through ask !

In terms of community, I'd suggest maybe make a sideblog for trying out pet regression (if you want too) and look through the pet regression tags ! The tumblr regression community has always been the most active next to Instagram. There's also ageretwt / petretwt if you wanna try Twitter, also check out r/copingthruregression on reddit too

One more thing is that, because you're a minor, even if petre is mostly populated by others your age range and even if it's a sfw community, please be super careful with weirdos ! Creeps will be in every community so just yea- be cautious ! Not all adults are horrible but basic internet safety 101 and all that. Also if you end up feeling like the petre community is something you wanna delve deeper into than I would recommend not to get a caregiver or a handler just yet (cause of ur age) but it's really up to you, or if you do want to have someone take care of you like that, try and consider a close friend !

yall would not BELIEVE the month(s) ive had. ....ok actually yeah you probably would,

k so. broke a bone for the first time. that was fun. ....is it weird that that's only mostly sarcastic? ....anyway, im not gonna tell yall a whole bunch about what happened because i Do Not Feel Like It (sorry, maybe if u ask me more i'll elaborate? but rn its just a bunch of scribbles that i dont feel like untangling), but uhh. basically ther was a landslide, and i broke a leg, and got a whole buncha other more minor injuries, and the hospital staff were absolutely lovely and i do feel kinda bad for scaring them so much. but also. it was mostly not my fault. ....it also wasnt their faults, it was just unfortunate circumstances.

anyway! so, because of that, i learned how to use crutches, and learned a lot more about hospitals and the like. i prolly shoulda kept yall up to date WHILE i was recovering, but, uh, in my defense, i forgor. mainly because i was a bit busy with.... well, recovering. and trying to trick my brain into Not trying to get me tf outta there.

i also miiiighta gone into a bit of a Trance, probably to heal? gave the staff a right ol scare with that, whoops. shoutout to my brain for. basically everything, actually.

But short answer? Keith’s their comfort blorbo, and it’s incredibly easy to have that become “can do no wrong ever it MUST be EVERYONE else!” and…not recognize that kneejerk bias. Ask The Real Fandom Olds TM who’ve participated in fandom culture since the 80s and 90s and that’s a key issue with Current Fandom and especially younger fans (ie, probably our generation and younger.) Add in that a lot of us online trend (in my antidotal experience) towards having untreated anxiety or depressive symptoms and/or undiagnosed neurodivergent brain wiring that an individual might’ve not quite learned how to cope with yet (and many come with emotional regulation symptoms) in addition to…human brains really just Don’t stop developing until mid20s regardless of someone’s birth gender and brain development is particularly chaotic and…well.

That’s a recipe for a volatile fandom, and since the VLD Characters in particular were geared towards Teens or Teen Nostalgia? [Comfort Blorboing Intensifies.]

Now, in one fic series Idea, Keith DOES become the Red Paladin again, but he has to work for it. Really work for it. Like, the Team is still incredibly hurt that he left and never really apologized for ditching them before THAT Scene where Jiro is forced to step in s4. I think I have in my notes somewhere [coughs] prolly a random post or very buried DM to a friend that Red Lion finally outright takes Keith for a joy ride (much like Blue and Black did with Lance and Shiro) and literally has him bouncing around in zero g and gforces until Red’s really willing to accept him back as Paladin. (Also it makes me feel better.)

The one you asked about is actually a Redo of The Black Paladin’s episode following alteanroyals’ prompt of “what if Shiro’s the one who fights the clone, and the clone gets to just come home. Have his own name.” Because, c’mon. The visuals would’ve been incredible, and Josh Keaton and Studio Mir adores Shiro and Jiro even if the EPs and arguably NONE of the writers (even the better ones trying to patch job before bailing out) gave a shit about Jiro as his own character.

So. Back to Keith.

He actually tries flying Black Lion, same as the (egh) canonical episode…and…

WHOOPS. He gets lasers shot at him for his efforts (hA HA~)

Allura steps in, and has a battle of wills against Black Lion, then realizes that what has Black so torqued is Keith tried to dominate the Lion. (Imo? The only reason why Keith could fly with Black in s2-4 was because of the bond they both had with Shiro. “Help me help you.”) And well. Allura’s learned a thing or two: trying to dominate a Lion does NOT work. She learned that for herself with White Lion, she’s now realizing that’s why Black Lion accepted Shiro as it’s Paladin over Zarkon at all. So Allura changes tactics, senses Shiro’s Quintessence still inside Black Lion nearly two years after he vanished, and calls the others in. They do a reverse-balmera ceremony via their voltron bonds and pull Shiro back out—in his OWN body, tyvm.

And well. Remember how it’s technically a “Shiro vs CloneShiro” prompt? Yeah, they fight. (I’ll try not to have them totally wreck the place. All Shiros are Good Shiros.) And when Black Lion comes for them now that the Lion can get a clear shot? Red Lion also comes.

Because Keith isn’t the only character who holds the needed qualities for a Red Paladin. (Reactive instincts, laser focus, loyalty, but often emotionally volatile.) Jiro does too. And unlike Keith, Jiro stayed even when he “no longer” had a Lion to fly from his POV, and he struggled with the rest of the Team to adjust to Lions that no longer suited them in the wake of Shiro’s Absence. So Red chooses Jiro and flies to him. (Black would’ve saved Jiro, too, even though Jiro wasn’t Black’s true paladin. But seeing a Lion accept him, and further proof that he’s not just a poor copy but his own person and even a Paladin in his own right?)

Basically, in starting writing and continuing to ruminate on ideas, I realized that Gemini works best as a single fic, so having Firm Consequences make more sense. Other tidying up?

-Allura and the Paladins take the Castle and immediately head out for the Altean Colony while Shiro (and Black Lion at Black’s literal insistence) go after Jiro. (And with Shiro here to lead and analyze + Convenient Recap/Alternate Explanation, Pidge is able to shut down the virus far earlier before it makes the Castle truly dead in the water.) Haggar never gets her claws into them.

-Keith formally leaves the Blades. He had a family, and he turned his back on them. Those relationships won’t be what they were before (ie, symbolic in losing his Red Paladinship), but this time he’s willing to put the work in to repair their trust in him. Meanwhile, the Blades never were going to help him find his mother intentionally no matter how many times he sacrificed his life for them, and his life and the lives of all the other Blades ultimately meant very little to Kolivan and the Blades as an organization. He surrenders the knife to Krolia, and walks away if Team Voltron will let him stay. It not, he can do better good with the Rebels. (Infiltration was Pidge’s thing, anyway. He’s the showy diversion maker.)

-Lotor returns to Orionde. But when he faces the Ancients and White Lion again, he stops attacking and running from his sins. He sacrifices his full life force, and the Drained Alteans revive fully restored. The tragedy his family caused and he ended up perpetuating ends with him. (That does leave…y’know. The Galran Empire without an Emperor. But hey. IF I finish this fic, that’s potential sequel material, baby!)

…anyway. Point is, Keith Antis put a bad taste in my mouth, but the point of “Keith loses Red” wasn’t to punish Keith (okay…maybe a little. But that was still mostly Black blasting lasers everywhere. For catharsis.) The point was, “There are consequence, and while some relationships can be repaired or make new ones with the same people after you’ve hurt them, others can’t. You lose them. It’s important to put in the work, but it’s also important to accept loss and endings, especially after you’ve fucked up.”

And well. I felt that Keith Losing Red, Jiro Gaining Red made things narratively tidy.

This could include smaller waist, smaller wrist, smaller arms, etc. But somehow they always give them big boobs if the reader is female/AFAB (imo reader fics should try to be inclusive and it just takes me out of the fic when the fic's reader character gives off “typical skinny anime girl with big honkers” vibes). Omegaverse fics where the omega/beta reader is just a skinny twinky anime character makes me so mad because YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE THEM SMALLER!!! JUST HAVE THE LOVE INTEREST BE MUCH BIGGER AND STRONGER JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. I UNDERSTAND the desire for size difference and physical power imbalance (bcoz same 😌✋). But just highlight how big (or strong) the love interest/s is/are, not how small and petite Reader/YN is. Make the reader character feel suffocated. Make them feel the heebie jeebies. MAKE THEM FEEL SMALLER!!! TERRIFIED!!! SUFFOCATED!!! HAVE THEM OVERPOWER THE READER, NOT WEAKEN THE READER This is honestly easier to ignore with monsterfucker fics (in my own humble opinion) because no matter how big you are, the other person/monster is bigger (and stronger). A fic that explicitly describes a reader with straight hair

As someone with curly hair and dealt with various mean (an understatement) things throughout her life until recently, this just irks me. It just takes me out of the fic. Even if it's a fic that only had the reader straighten their hair for no plot relevant reason. No. I would not fucking do that, that's nasty It's actually very rare that reader is given an explicitly straight hair, jut implied

Accents that are written so strongly in a fic that I just can't understand it.

Common in COD fics with Soap in it. Like I don't know if you are making fun of him and other Scottish people or if that's really how Scottish people talk. Now it prolly might be a skill issue because English is my second language and my grasp on the English language is based on how school taught it to us at a young age and my exposure to various media and the internet at a young age but still.

No punctuation and all lowercase

I don't mind bad grammar or spelling mistakes (if it's not THAT bad) because I know that English can be hard for people who are not exposed to it at a young age. But it does slightly bother me if there is no proper punctuation because it makes it harder for me to read it, same goes to all lowercase fics (it's fine if it's short but it slightly hurts my eyes when it's 2k+ words)

Bimbo Reader where the other characters (the love interest) clearly don't care about reader's interests

Boo. Jail for them other charas. Not all of them are bad. I actually liked some of them but that's because the characters in the fic took interests in the BReader's likes and hobbies and showcased their dynamics. Now, I do understand that the writers are into degradation and dehumanization that a Bimbo reader fic can give but again, I'm just not into it.

Characters that are too ooc that it might as well be a whole new character

FUCK YOU!!! I hope your favorite female character from a shonen anime becomes a housewife with no other personality other than wife and mom.

Reader having an explicit callsign (COD specific)

I just feel like is the same as giving the reader chara a name. Kinda like how Simon is Ghost, Johnny is Soap, and Kyle is Gaz.

Reader being given specific descriptions (even if they don't have any explicit name) such as hair, body type, outfit, etc.

That's an OC with extra steps Now, I would have to explain myself a little bit further here. I am referring to when a fic just straight up describes the reader character that might as well be a description for an OC (giving them specific eye color, hair color, body type etc. combined). I am not talking about fics that is something on the lines of chubby!Reader, curly!Reader, etc. These are fics made because most fics are made with assumption that the MC is skinny, has straight hair, and vaguely European or American or white or light-skinned, and it does makes others that do not fit this demographic alienated. These fics are there to make others feel included and seen. And I fucking love them

Characters who have some kind of mental disorder (let's say anxiety) being babyfied or owo-fied

Neurodivergent characters being infantilized

Now for my (possibly) unpopular opinion

Y/N is fine, actually

I want to say that in my heart of hearts. Y/N and their cousin, [Name], isn't really that bad or immersion breaking. Y/N is like a self-insert we play as. They are here to represent us. They are our eyes and ears. It is our player character. Our avatar. We are them. They are us. I don't mind a fic going: "Y/N!!!" instead of You hear someone shout out your name because in my opinion it just fits the pacing and the vibes more. Of course, it is better to minimize the usage of Y/N but if you feel like it fits the pacing/wording/situation/overall vibe/feeling better, using Y/N might actually work better instead of various alternatives. Sometimes a nickname or epithet could work but sometimes, good ol' reliable Y/N L/N is just better.

Again, I want to say that there are fics that had the stuff from the above that I enjoyed and even if I didn't, I know that it was very great but not something that I, myself specifically, liked.

Kuro turned around and saw his best friend looking at where you are, Kenma looked at him then and the captain defended himself. "I'm just happy, don't be spoil it."

"So she's finally said it huh?"

Kenma is not a fool to not notice that you two has finally had something going on between you, he knows it just by watching those silent exchange of smiles and stares, Kuro is too obvious as well.

Kuro frowned and he realized that you have become much closer with his best friend too, did you mentioned something to Kenma? "What do you mean finally?" he asked, his arms crossed over his chest while Kuro just drank some water and left him with no word while he followed him like an idiot.

Kenma still didn't say anything, you trusted him about it and even if Kuro is his best friend, you've become his friend too so he's not gonna give him say anything and he won't even tell him that he sort of helped you realize what you feel for Kuro.

"So you guys are still just friends?" He asked as his eyes are focused on the screen as you both sat beside each other, you shrugged and leaned your back in the wall, "Well, yeah. It's not like Tetsu is making a move but he asked me to come and watch you guys play." Kenma paused his game and looked over at you with a knowing smile, "You wouldn't consider that as a 'move'? He's technically saying that he wants to see you support him." he pointed out, Kenma saw you pout at that.

Kenma secretly smiled at that, you're too bothered for a crush it seems. You froze, it's not like Kenma mentioned Kuro specifically but you just knew that Kuro has fangirls, you see lots of them in his social media and they weren't just mere fangirls they're all stunning and you've seen some of them tag Kuro in pictures, he's that popular but what would you expect?

"Kuro is probably tired of taking care of the team alone he also needs someone to like assist us and stuffs like how you guys assist Karasuno. He's excited in picking, he's even doing the interviews online even if we're here." Kenma said it full of nonchalance that you didn't suspect that it was a plan.

When Kenma heard your silence, he knew he hit the right spot.

"T-That's great, I mean you guys prolly need it so bad if he's taking this seriously."

Kenma nodded and turned off the game before he looked at you just to see that troubled look on your face, he felt bad really but he knew you needed a little help in realizing things. "He's been looking for a manager for months you know…so yeah he's working hard to get a good one." you nodded your head and forced a smile.

You honestly don't know why there was a faint bitterness in you mouth when you stood up and pat Kenma's back, "I hope you guys get a good one, I'll go ahead." you told him before you walk away with lots of things on your mind.

You don't understand why you felt something like a burn on your chest when you realized that there are lots of girls around Kuro, you didn't like it.

You can't be jealous…right?

End of Flashback

You were busy washing the dishes when Kuro suddenly startled you from behind, he was lucky you didn't throw a glass at him but he earned a smack from you for doing that, "What are you doing here, cat?" you glared and he let out a low chuckle. Kuro likes teasing you, when you're annoyed he could notice the tip of your nose turning a little red with your cheeks.

It was endearing and if even if he's shy to admit it, he won't deny the fact that seeing you like this actually makes his heart race. "I'm inviting you, chibi-chan will be practicing with us tonight. You wanna watch?" when you were done in washing the dishes, Kuro gave you a dry cloth and helped you dry your hands before you both made your way back to the gym.

"That sounds fun, I'll watch." you told him as you both walked inside the gym, he gave you a slight tap on your back as he walked you back to where Karasuno was, "Just bringing back your manager, see ya later Y/N." he waved goodbye to the boys and you sat beside Nishinoya, the libero just smiled quietly before standing up to start stretching because they'll be playing next.

Just like what was planned you were dragged to watch Akaashi, Bokuto, Kuro, Lev, Tsukishima and Hinata play against each other, a 3v3 match. Kuro was sitting beside you as he watch Tsukishima and Lev tried blocking Bokuto, "Surround him! Make the block wider!" he instructed the two, Bokuto slightly hit the block for a rebound and when Akaashi set the ball for him he hit it nicely.

Kuro stood up to join the game and helped Tsukishima and Lev in blocking Hinata. You laughed a bit upon hearing Bokuto telling them that it's cruel to gang up on him like that but the small crow proved himself and made past the three blocker successfully.

The game ended and you enjoyed the match, Kuro kept on saying that he was impressed of Hinata's amazing wipe as he walk you back to where the managers are sleeping. "Thanks for helping them train, Tetsu. I know Kei could be a little cold and salty but he's a nice kid and Shoyo is the sweetest, I really hope I'll witness the battle of the garbage dumpster. Good luck to both our teams." you smiled as you stopped in front of the room where you guys are sleeping.

Kuro nods and slightly pinch your cheeks, "Hmm, we'll do our best to make it happen." he said with the sweetest smile, when he let go of your cheeks you bit your lower lip as you shifted your weight from foot to foot while silence ruled between the two of you.

Kuro decided to break the silence with a low chuckle, "I should go…" he whispered but you held his wrist and he looked at you, waiting for you to talk but you just smiled before you tip-toed and kissed his cheek.

"Goodnight Tetsu." you told him before you entered the room, silently waving goodbye while Kuro stood at the exact place obviously frozen.

I honestly forgot when it started, perhaps it's been going on before I was even aware of what it was. All I know was that it's always been her.

Most of the people around me would often tell me how huge my presence is despite of my height, but I don't feel like that especially if there's obviously one person who couldn't see me despite of my "strong presence" all these years.

“Yuu! Are you paying attention to me?”

When I jerked out of my thoughts I realized that she was sitting across from me, and her brows were furrowed as she rant on how I was not listening to all the things she was saying, if she only knew.

All the words she says is etched on my mind and heart right away, that's how huge Y/N L/N's impact in my life. All my life I think I've known her, it's technically how it was, we've known each other for so long to the point that sometimes we knew each other more than we know ourselves.

As I take a look at her right now, all I could see was how the sunlight was emphasizing her beauty underneath its rays. She had a lot of guys crushing on him but none could make a move because of me.

They all thought we were dating, probably because sometimes that's how it looks like. We go to school together, with me carrying her bag, we'll be going to the club and at the end of the day we'll go home together as well.

I wish that was how we were.

Just as I was thinking of finally telling her what I feel, he came.

The moment I saw her watching Kuro Tetsuro of Nekoma closely, I knew that the years I had by her side wouldn't mean anything now that he's here. And I'm not a fool not to notice that he was into her as well.

I kept going and told myself that if it's for her happiness, I'll be fine, I thought that if I'll bury thesw feelings and prioritize her happiness over mine it won't hurt as much but I was so damn wrong.

That night where I saw them hugging each other as she admitted her feelings, I felt so small. A lot of questions formed inside of my head as they held each other while I watch in the sidelines.

If we hadn't met him, I wonder if she would have been mine, if I was fast enough to tell her what I feel where would it bring us?

I've been moving on and as much as it pains me to distance myself from her I ain't got a choice but when she cried when I wasn't talking to her I actually hoped that maybe I had a chance but just like before I was wrong.

It was crystal clear, she likes him so much. Her smiles when she's with him was way different when she's with me, she gets all flustered when Kuro is around and she's always searching for him around the court.

I love her more than she could ever imagine, I love her everyday, I love her even before I know what it means and I love everything about her.

I'm hiding in the dark as I watch her stand on her tiptoes just to kiss him on his cheek and that was the moment I knew that I had to let her go.

I knew I have to let go even if she is the most beautiful dream of mine.
