i fear the problem is that people see trans men talking about their problems and only see MEN, not trans people. and not to sound like a raving mra incel, but you shouldnt hate people because theyre men. you shouldnt automatically discount peoples opinions and oppression because they are men. and this is such a tumblr problem i think, because communities get so isolated that people only see the most annoying and shitty takes from the other side of debates in screenshots making fun of them. its how we got from joking about killing terfs and transphobes to joking about killing trans men. you, and i mean YOU, are not immune to falling into an echochamber.

Anyways I think more people should realize that plus sized Targs are a thing that makes perfect sense within the world of asoiaf. Not only do we have multiple canon cases of plus sized Targs that aren’t just Aegon the Unworthy (Aegon II, Viserys, Rhaenyra, Helaena, Daeron II) but the royal family would have more access to food and luxuries. It’s not bad for a person to be plus sized, like it’s not evil, it’s perfectly normal and as much a part of their appearance as hair colour or fashion taste. I feel like people took “Targs look otherworldly and beautiful” and twisted it into “they only ever look like what we as modern biased viewers view as beautiful,” which ends up going completely against their descriptions in the books. Plus sized woman with a aquiline nose becomes skinny woman with a button nose. Be better people. BE BETTER!!!

I had a dream last night about an AU where Vasco and Machete were switched. Vasco was the cardinal, and Machete was the Florentine ambassador. Machete was pretty much the same minus the religious guilt, and more confident, while Vasco had a somewhat small dose of religious guilt. Vasco still got assassinated unfortunately, and Machete went down the deep end and thought that was God's way of punishing them both. He then shot himself at the place where Vasco died :/
