Genuine question, how are you able to stomach dip and pip’s sex jokes??

two parts to this, i guess?

the first is that i am an adult with a broad social circle. a lot of people talk about sex in life, friends make sex jokes, discuss sex, even coworkers bring up sex. i have my own personal issues surrounding sex but i can talk about it and hear about it without being bothered as long as it’s not about me personally

the second is that i acknowledge that a fair amount of people who are really bothered by their jokes see them as parental figures, so i understand the discomfort. i don’t see them as parental figures, i don’t have parental figures. they’re my two parasocial weird friends who make me happy, and my friends make sexual references in general so i’m usually unfazed by whatever they say
