120) Langove, Lango, Langah (Balochi: لانگو); Ланго, Лангах- plemię Beludżów, mówiące po Sulemani, w pakistańskim Beludżystanie, chociaż inne społeczności można znaleźć w Pendżabie i Sindh. Większość Langove posługuje się dialektem Sulemani języka beludżi, chociaż niektórzy mieszkający w pobliżu plemion Brahui mówią językiem brahui. Trzy najważniejsze podplemienne grupy tożsamościowe Langove to Meeranzai, Halizai i Shadizai.
Średniowieczne państwo muzułmańskie ze stolicą w mieście Multan. Leżało na północy współczesnego Pakistanu. Sułtanat został założony w 1437 roku przez plemię Baluchi Lango, którego władca Budhan Khan założył w 1437 roku dynastię w Multanie i uczynił je stolicą. Po zwycięstwie Ilutmisza, Multan stał się prowincją Sułtanatu Delhi i pozostał przez następne dwa stulecia. Armia Timura w Delhi w 1398 roku zszokowała sułtanat i doprowadziła do upadku administracji centralnej, a Multan przeszedł w ręce Langoi. Źródła są pełne zamieszania co do tożsamości Langoi i początków ich panowania w Multanie. Według historyka Abdu al-Haqqa, autora Tarıkh-i Haqqı (napisanego w latach 1592–1593), wraz z upadkiem potęgi sułtanów Delhi, Budhan Khan, wódz plemienia Beludżów Langa, zebrał swoje siły w Uchch i najechał Multan. Wypędził Khani Khanana i zajął twierdzę, w 1437 roku przyjął tytuł Mahmuda Shaha i został pierwszym władcą niepodległego państwa Multan.

Hello! Me again!
I decided to add onto this post because I feel like this might be helpful for other people who are looking to learn how to get into D&D, so I will answer your questions here!
- This is a website I use to quickly stat any character I make- note that this may not be allowed at some tables, it’s a matter of preference, but it’s very helpful if you want to have a balanced character without relying on dice rolls.
- This has a tonne of content that’s especially good in character creation and levelling up- there’s multiple books worth of content including races, classes, spells etc, and it’s fairly easy to navigate.
I personally wouldn’t recommend playing D&D solo if you’re just starting out, it can be a bit overwhelming- but there are plenty of communities on Discord and Facebook where people put out posts looking for new players- that’s how I met my current party! Also, if you find yourself joining a group where the playstyle isn’t working for you, don’t be disheartened- let the party know, and try your luck with a different group. Everyone plays differently, it’s part of what makes D&D so versatile.
As for versions, I would recommend 5e personally- it’s the latest edition (and easiest to grasp in my opinion) of the D&D books and there’s plenty of content for it online.
Side note: I should mention that I play D&D online myself, purely because it’s easier to find a group that way and finding in person games can be tricky, plus there’s less of a risk factor if you’re playing with strangers.
Race and Class combos are part of what makes the game interesting, and the answer to the best combination is: there isn’t one!
The best race and class to play as a beginner is best decided by the player themselves- whether you’d feel more comfortable playing a spellcaster or a tanky fighter or something in between, it’s all a matter of personal preference. Race wise, it’s the same thing. Which do you think sounds the coolest? If one springs to mind, pick that!
As user Song42 eloquently put on Reddit, “While you can match race and class for min/maxing in DnD, it's not like playing a video game either. The thing with DnD is that you don't have to pick the best class. You don't have to have the holy Trinity to be successful. It's a door to pick what you have interest in playing and go have fun with it. Ultimately, the dice are going to decide and throw the random chance in. You could land every attack, but roll 1s and 2s for your damage and do hardly any damage.
So, there really is no best class for each race unless you are specifically min/maxing, and I think at that point, you're missing what the game is about.”
Onto dice: there are 7 dice in a set of D&D dice: D20, which is your main one that you will be making most of your rolls with. This is used for initiative (unless you’re using something like Roll20 which is the website I use to play- you can still roll a D20 for initiative there if you want to but there’s a shortcut for everything online), for saving throws, attack rolls, etc.
there’s the D100, which you don’t really see much of unless you’re rolling on a wild magic table or something along those lines for a sorcerer- the D12, commonly a damage die, which is the same for D10s, D8s, and D6s and D4s. These can also be used to roll hit points, bardic inspiration and other things, but you only need to know what to roll for your specific character. A lot of the time if you need to use dice for damage or a spell, the description of the spell or attack will tell you what you need to use.
I would be more than happy to walk you through the character sheet once you have decided on your race and class for your first character, as there’s a lot of things to go over on there like modifiers, where to put what, all that jazz- but I hope this was helpful at least!
I'm gonna be playing my first DnD one shot soon, getting the Player's Handbook in a few days hopefully and want to get started making characters and understanding combat, does anyone have any advice? I'm not gonna be a DM yet I'm very new 😔
