Unilever: SHOP2GIVE #AddDreamsToCart
There are 2.8M out-of-school Filipino children. Last August 20, Unilever launched SHOP2GIVE #AddDreamsToCart: A 24-hour E-commerce campaign where a portion of every purchase of a Unilever product goes to UNICEF to bring back some of them to school. In this campaign, the logos of 36 Unilever products and all its SKUs were hand-drawn, and their names changed to names of kids: “Ponds” became “Pam,” “Dove” became “Diane,” “Sunsilk” became “Sunshine,” even “St. Ives” turned to “Yvette." The agency convinced Unilever to allow these logo violations to happen so the children Filipinos could help through the campaign could be personified, making shoppers buy into the cause and purchase the products.
Drawings of these products with kid-name logos were splashed across all of the Unilever brands' social assets, the E-commerce site, Manila's billboards, and other collaterals in the lead-up to the event, and the actual day of SHOP2GIVE itself. Unilever and Lazada once again aim to invite millions of Filipinos to extend a helping hand with the click of a button.

Who are Chloe, Dianne, and Axel and Why Have They Taken Over Your Favorite Brands’ Accounts?
In the latest development that has taken the online world by storm, your favorite brands’ logos and names were replaced with hand-drawn art and children’s names overnight. This collaborative effort elevates the online shopping experience by giving shoppers the chance to help send out-of-school children in the Philippines back to school.
Given the success of last year’s Shop2Give campaign, which has expanded across multiple Southeast Asian countries, Unilever and Lazada once again aim to invite millions of Filipinos to extend a helping hand with as simple as a click of a button. As you shop for your favorite Unilever products during this Super Brand Day on the Lazada platform, part of th proceeds from the sale will be donated to UNICEF. And although the online shopping event will be held on August 20 with an accompanying Facebook Live event, you can begin filling your cart with your Unilever staples as early as August 16.
For 24 whole hours, Unilever will also give Lazada a fun and adorable makeover, transforming the interface of this online shopping giant into what looks like a kid's art gallery. All participating Unilever product photos will be replaced by hand-drawn renditions of the product while product names will be changed to children’s names.
As an added treat, shoppers can cop the following deals:
-Up to 80% off on Unilever products with a collectible voucher -A free Shop2Give tote bag for the first 1,000 shoppers -All day flash sale of up to 70% off -All day free shipping with a minimum purchase of Php 300.00 -Lazada vouchers with up to 30% discount beginning August 17

Shop2Give: A Shopping #ForTheKids of UNICEF hosted by Unilever PH and Lazada
Being able to shop for a good cause is considered as an achievement for me. The idea is quite different from the others, making it stand out from all other shopping campaigns. You, yourself, for sure could not let this good opportunity pass by.
Shop to Give is a partnership between Unilever Philippines and Lazada for the benefit of the children of UNICEF. Unilever will be taking over Lazada’s platform for a 24-hour shopping event that enables consumers to participate in charitable shopping. Unilever’s Shop to Give brings a unique take on Lazada’s Super Brand Day by integrating social consciousness into the platform and involving consumers in supporting UNICEF.
Shop to Give is Unilever’s innovative take on Lazada’s Super Brand Day. Dedicated to children, the 24-hour shopping event offers online shoppers the opportunity to help support the kids of UNICEF.
When the clock strikes midnight of October 17, a 24-hour shopping event will allow consumers to support disadvantaged children through UNICEF, as Unilever Philippines and Lazada launches ‘Shop2Give’.
For a full day, Unilever will take over eCommerce platform Lazada, quirkily transforming the online shopping giant’s interface. Unilever will revamp images of their products with children’s hand-drawn images, bringing focus to the beneficiaries of the activity. With Shop2Give, the kids are the ultimate beneficiaries.
Shoppers can enjoy up to 80% off on Unilever products when they visit lzd.co/shop2giveph. They can even purchase “buy one, give one deals”, a meaningful initiative that treats shoppers to massive discounts, but also donates to beneficiaries of UNICEF.
When purchasing Unilever products on Lazada, online shoppers can use the promo code SHOP2GIVE, or collect vouchers to receive even more discounts on their carts when they check out. A donation will be made to UNICEF that benefits children for every purchase made.
Have you noticed that Unilever brands change their Facebook profile and cover pictures?
They were able to transform their brand pages kicks off the Shop to Give campaign. It is a prelude to what will take place on the Super Brand Day, details of which will be revealed on 17 Oct.
Why were their previous brand photos replaced by children’s illustrations? The drawings are children’s interpretations of the Unilever brands’ key visuals. Showcasing their artwork gives them a voice and an active role in the campaign, differentiating it from what may be similar initiatives.
