I love to practice floorwork! This one is where I begin in a seated kneeling position to nock my arrow. *. Then on one knee, still in the seated position with one leg extended outward to the side, I lean forward as low as I can go. *. Remaining balanced and as still as I can, I draw and aim my English Longbow and release the arrow. *.. Thwack ... as the arrow hits the target! Had a good day at the range today. Got some strange looks because I have my @wickstick_stabilizers 3D bars on my hunting setup. To me, if I have the stuff to use, I am going to have fun using it. I must say that the stability of this bow was never better. Plus the @bowmar_archery nose button being added to the equation made for an epic combo. More practising with different bow styles and positions in the kneeling and seated stances. Learning more ways of adjusting my English Longbow to the tilted, horizontal, flat bow positions. Keeping in mind coordination, balance, focus with technique, form, draw to encourage good aim and release of my wooden arrows. I also wanted to exercise my upper and lower body muscle strength, suppleness of movement and flexibility of handling my bow and positioning my body in small and tight spaces.
