Twenty-three years ago, "Shaman King" first aired on TV today!

This was one of my favorite shows growing up. It was more than just a shonen anime. It was about friendship, spirituality, teamwork and life itself. Based on a manga by Hiroyuki Takei, we follow Yoh Asakura, a laidback kid who is destined to be The Shaman King.

He is also quite an outcast who neither had any human friends but all that changed when he met Manta Oyamada upon transferring into his new school. They have met foes who all coveted the Shaman King title and friends along the way. It had a unique art style that made it stand out from its other anime contemporaries.

Every character is complex and diverse. You have a Chinese warrior like Ren, an Ainu named Horokeu, a German necromancer name Faust VIII, and also an Afro-American medium name Choco whose powers manifest from making people laugh. I unfortunately grew up with the 4Kids version and am glad it got a Netflix revival which is a lot closer to the manga. I was surprised to check the manga and it was pretty brutal.

I do apologize for sounding a bit emotional, but this was my whole childhood. As someone who's been abused as a kid, I find comfort in this show. It taught me that things will turn out to be alright in the end and I have the power to choose my destiny.

In my very interesting bleach side characters era.I am so in love with their dynamic and what they could have been if Kubo focused on side characters more.I have been in love(and I mean IN LOVE)with Rangiku since I was 12 and to see her again after all this years is just..... beautiful and then the way she looks in TYBW like.....OMG I'M GAY!

Shounen Jump has official announced that Hunter x Hunter will broadcast a special PV through their official Youtube Channel on Monday 26 Dec 2022 at 18:00pm JST Time.

The news comes as a nice surprise, after it was earlier announced that the manga would soon stop releasing weekly chapters in favour of a new release format possibly due to the which is currently being discussed as of today.

Dragon ball- Shenron
