routine is the big boy in my life, if im trying to learn then doing the same thing each day at the same time really helps me to get into it? or do it at all maybe start your day w something simple, i wake up, get breakfast while waiting for kettle to boil, go upstairs with tea, drink while watching youtube, once my teas all gone i set up my amp and start practicing guitar, after i play music maybe respond to messages (if i have enough spoons) and draw if i can and then crash usually and read or watch yt or have a bath, sometimes walk my dog

if i dont wake up and get breakfast and tea right away i flounder and lose balance and cant! practice! and then i cant! draw! and then i cant read! all i can do is stare into space or watch yt

take breaks w/o ur phone or w/e, listen to lowfi music and dance to ur mirror or stick ur head out the window and breathe until its too cold or go for a walk (maybe take someone with u and have a long convo and get a little lost so u have to google ur way home, or maybe listen to good vibe music, my fave rn is shakey graves if u couldnt tell hahah)

i like to stim, like bounce my ball or stare at a sensory tube or sniff this woodfire candle linus gave me, thats what looking after myself looks like for me

also try really hard to go to sleep at an okay time and wake up early, the day will be longer and u’ll be active in the light which is gud if ur not a night worker

also just a heads up, get some vitamin D spray or somethin!

when learning is hard i still do it and maybe its shit and i dont progress (thats okay!) but then the next day maybe itll be a little better! also pup success at uni does not equal ur worth, just do ur best and also maybe evaluate what you value in your self, r u particularly kind? or can you make people laugh? or are u a great listener? idk uve got somethin i know u do, let that be the weight that holds you rather than your success in academia

also idk if u go out and drink but maybe take a break from that while ur struggling
