Okay I'm gonna vent about it a lot more calmly on main here but uhhhh
Folks. Folks I would like to offer a gentle fucking reminder to people who find themselves dating or fucking any native spanish speakers:
Don't make jokes about our language being ridiculous or unbelievable or otherwise worth less than English. You probably think you're just being silly and joking around with us. You are not. Your joke has context, especially for those of us who have had our language denied us at various points in our lives. And even if we're chill about it in the moment, that shit sticks with you, that's why it's called a micro aggression.
I really don't need or want anyone to get self-shaming about this post, but I cannot emphasize enough how crushing it was emotionally tonight to be having a cute and fun back and forth with someone, only to have them crack that joke about "crazy fake letters" the very first time I pulled out a pet name in my native tongue. Like. I'm not gonna lie to you and pretend I'm not mad, I **abso-fucking-lutely** am mad.
But the mad came after the wave of just. Cold, hard grief. After the feeling of the wall going back up because now I have to ask myself if this person knows how fucking RACIST and SHITTY what they just said was, and will they know THE NEXT TIME something like this happens, or am I gonna be fucking tanking microaggressions the whole time we're together? I'm mad because I have enough self-love to be angry someone was willing and able to hurt me like that and still thinks the flirty vibe is đŻ copacetic, not because I think anyone who makes this specific mistake is a monster.
But like. I don't think people understand how painful it is to live your life in someone else's voice because of how aggressively, racistly monolingual this country [so named usa] demands we be. How much it hurts for the words that mean everything to you to be nothing more than a fetish or a joke to even people who want to love you.
Anyway, you can take the bitch out of mexĂcali, but you can't take the mexĂcali out of the bitch apparently, no manches lmao

talking about ready to go on this fine sunday evening
the very beginning of the song, before the guitars come in, and it's just like a synth sound, some backing vocals and bass, reminds me of kinda like old school hiphop. an opening like that could easily lead into a real rap beat, it's giving like early 90's and early 2000's hiphop. i was kind of expecting it to go the rap route when i first heard the song! but nope, in comes a siiiiick metal inspired guitar riff (jukka i owe you my life???) that's some chugging, i am also ready to go with a riff like this. hell of an opening.
his vocals come in one style, transition into another, then a new style for the chorus, and yet another for the second verse. FOUR vocal styles for one song. that's not so typical for pop music these days. i love how fearless he is with vocals in general, he's not afraid of sounding weird or funny. and even with the funny voices, he himself never becomes a joke, because he commits and puts his whole back into it. that is genuenly a skill, to be able to be so playful and still be for real.
and his singing in the chorus is good, very pleasing. i especially love his voice with the word"haluut" like he hits some soft vibrato in the second chorus right there, that is some good shit.
and guys. the way the chorus is built. it's incredible.
the long pauses in between words is so good and so... cunty lmao. it's like he is leaving room for the listener to jump to conclusions, only to call you and your mother and the whole country and culture out for being negative nellies who wish artists would fail (context for that can be read here)
so the first time hearing the chorus is like:
sä (who me?) haluut (oh? i do?) nähä (see what đŤŁ) ku mä (when you what đł) flomaan taas ojaan kuraiseen (ooooh snap he said that part out loud)
and like i said it's so cunty, it's so deliciously arrogant to open the whole entire album this way, because there is so much space in the chorus to expect all sorts of things. because it could go anywhere. like...
1. sä -> oh he's talking to me now
2. haluut -> he is calling out something i want and desire. that's very disarming as a listener, makes you feel on edge because whatever he is going to claim that you want, you either have to come to terms with him being absolutely bang on the money correct, which means he sees right through you and you feel exposed, or he is going to say something you don't want, which will be a whole different journey, could be funny, could be offputting, could be anything!
3. nähä -> oop, what is it that he thinks i want to see, is this going a voyeristic route? is he going to expose everyone for being horny for him? whatever it is he is calling everyone voyers, basically.
4. ku mä -> it's so very deliciously arrogant to just straight up make a chorus that starts by him straight up telling you, that you, yes YOU, want to see me [do anything]. he's like. you're obsessed with me, aren't you. and he is RIGHT. makes the listener a bit red in the face, don't you think?
5. flomaan taas ojaan kuraiseen / mokaan ja maitojunaan meen -> aaand (finnish) people know exactly where this is going now. he is calling out the culture, he is calling out the haters, he is calling out the negativity and the vahingonilo (schadenfreude?) in this country. and we know exactly who he is talking to, we all know these people.
KING SHIT.
THE CUNT ON HIM to make this the opening track because we know it's aimed at, you know, like Pekka from Janakkala or whatever, who spent all of 2023 huffing and puffing because he thinks this Käärijä business is ridiculous and a waste of time and so he told everyone who was excited about CCC and ESC that ultimately Käärijä would fail and embarrass himself and the whole country. So Jere knows Pekka from Janakkala is still mad that "mikä lie Käärepaperi se nyt oli" actually succeeded and continues to succeed, so he calls that shit out in the first fucken song. It's like he's saying hi to all the haters who put the record on with every intention of trashing it and complaining about it. and it is them to whom he is being like "why are you so obsessed with me honey, why are you here to peep at me, hmm?"
the gaps in the chorus are like the audio equivalent of awkward eye contact you can't escape. he's saying i fucken see you.
and then the one time he modifies the chorus, he says "mä haluun ajaa tosi kovaa, vaik pelti kolisee, hei baby i'm ready to go" and that's him informing everyone that he's going to continue to do whatever he wants to do, he doesn't care if he gets a bit banged up or bruised on the way, because he is ready. and then it goes back to like "you want to see me fail, but i'm ready to go". the confidence in all that is genuenly admirable and something that this culture needs.
and i think the rest of the lyrics, in the verses, are about that too. he's going full speed ahead because he does not care if he stumbles. he's doing what he wants, what he always wanted, it's his passion, and he no longer has anything to lose. he's not afraid of failure. he knows there are people who want to see him fail, because it would confirm their own sad world view, but he does not give a flying fuck and he's not going to let that kind of mindset affect him. so he is fucking ready to go.
and musically, this song combines all of the käärijä elements really well! like i said, the opening sounds first like old school rap, then like metal, then going into more of a dance beat, the use of different vocal styles, a strong message, proper attitude sprinkled with a lot of humour and some twinkle in the eye. and the way he switches between pronouncing ready to go the finnish way and a more "proper english" way, is also a fun little international Käärijä detail.
a banger of a song with the cuntiest attitude we've seen in a while. incredible.

The balls and attentiveness and care of Irving B to be like âHelly R would NEVER SAY THAT TO MEâ and go on a rampage to get his friend back, while Dylan and Mark didnât even notice that âHellyâ was obviously not herself based not only on her weird behavior but specifically on her fucked up comments to Irv
Irving B was my hero in this ep
Also his insistence on outing Helena was giving the same energy as those scenes in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Tell me this isnât the exact same energy Irving is giving Helena in this episode while sheâs busy spouting some bullshit.
Also (canât find a gif of it) the scene in Ripley where Marge first figures it out and yells at Tom, âDickie swore he would NEVER TAKE OFF THIS RING.â Same energy as Irving telling Helena that Helly was never cruel. (If you havenât seen this movie you should watch it but thatâs besides the point.)
This episode is so insane.
-innies waking up in the middle of the snowy wilderness with creepy animatronics of themselves and fake twin masturbation scripture
-HelenaâsâŚ..everything
-Irving serving cunt from start to finish and being willing to murder Helena Eagan for hurting his friends, knowing that Helly would approve, but instantly clutching Helly to his chest as soon as sheâs back and profusely apologizing for hurting her
-Helly being so overwhelmed and disoriented and having no fucking clue whatâs going on and being terrified but instantly knowing that sheâs safe because Irving is holding her and leaning into him and then watching him die for her two seconds later with no context I NEED TO CHEW ON GLASS
-Helena taking her war against Helly to a new level, in revenge for trying to hang her and sabotage her company and make her dad hate her, Helena goes and fucks Hellyâs boyfriend using Hellyâs body (I know itâs much more nuanced than, forgive me, but thatâs essentially how itâs going to feel from Hellyâs perspective) and just wow HOLY SHIT Helena is such a freak Iâm obsessed with her
-Helenaâs weird obsession with Mark and her hatred of Helly but her genuine ridicule of the dumb masturbation story to the point where Milchick just stares at her unamused but at the same time she leaves the tent with Mark in the morning just to go lovingly admire the legendary Dieter waterfall and her freaky sad attempts to connect with Irv by gifting him with a weird snow seal which donât land whatsoever and her sad need for a loving father figure but at the same time her unhesitatingly wanton cruelty towards him the second he pushes her boundaries farther than she likes IM CHOKING
-Mark S being such an adolescent boy that heâs willing to overlook Helly being odd and cruel and not herself and even say Irv DESERVED it and now Helly is going to feel extremely hurt and betrayed, not imo because of the sex like everybody seems to think, but because he spent like at least 3 days with Helena and a lot of time real close in that tent and still didnât even notice that it wasnât her. Understandable for Mark S because again, heâs essentially in an adolescent state of mind about this romance, heâs never experienced anything like this, but Iâd be pissed
-Irving being so fucking smart and badass (heâs obviously not dead for good I refuse to believe that), the numbers on the computer blending into almost but not quite âHelena Eaganâ, also everyone in this fandom being so fucking smart and clocking this shit from the very first episode even though I never would have noticed until now otherwise lmao
-Dylan screaming from the top of the cliff âLEAVE HIM ALONEâ and Irv saying âhang in thereâ
-the MDR innies being on the verge of fracturing in this episode, partly because of Helena, but Irv pulls them all back together in the end because of his resourcefulness and sheer love, because he knows that even if heâs lost Burt, he still has his family, and heâs totally okay with dying for them
-Irv screaming at Milchick âBRING HER BACK BRING HER BAAACKâ LITERALLY ME THIS WHOLE SEASON IRV
-I love Mark S but god damn he was so useless in this episode
And then this is not even considering the insanity that was LAST episode, including such hits as:
-Mark fucking reintegrating jumpscare
-Kier Eagan blackface
-Dylanâs wife lowkey liking innie Dylan more than her husband and possibly indicating an emotional affair is on the horizon cheating on her husband with her husband
-Feliciaâs heartbreaking convo with Irv about Burt
-Harmony Cobelâs entire story in this episode ending either possibly seeing a clone of a dead Eagan CEO??
God damn. I havenât made a text post in years

desperately need to know the context behind 'pill poppying'
hii, no angeline.com forum for this one because i think the admins wouldâve just deleted the post since the context steps into scandal territory and they donât want to talk about any of that laaaawl. check the context under read more because i don't want to clog the dash!!!!!!!!

  .  CONTEXT OF #PILLPOPPYING
TRIGGER WARNINGS: mentions of mental and physical struggles, drug dependency, harassment, invasion of privacy.
there are some layers to this so i will try to explain: first of all, poppy struggles both physically and mentally (she doesnât have much energy most of the time, really bad migraines, insomnia, anxiety, depression), so sheâs pretty dependent on her prescribed meds since these help her keep up with the crazy schedule as an idol / be a normal human being lmao.  sheâs been dependent on them ever since she was a little ballerina held by high expectations! she needed and still needs help!!!!!Â
sheâs never shared this with fans because, ofc, itâs nobodyâs business! but that changed when a saesang started spreading rumors about seeing her pill popping before stepping on stage during the LUCKY GIRL SYNDROME era. angels and others immediately went after the saesang for being a freak and for invading her space, but some people were left wondering if they were right... stans of other groups jumped on the rumor to attack poppy and hiraeth, but angels usually always clapped back with are u rlly believing a saesang?! anyway. poppy nor their management acknowledged this topic or rumors.Â
but then!!!! before the group started prepping for their (then controversial, now iconic) ARMAGEDDON era, one of yvanâs known saesangs (who their team had already flagged as dangerous) broke into poppyâs bedroom and filmed the mf cocktail of meds on her bedside table, and some of the medications shown in the video were banned in south korea. and yes, this caused a massive media frenzy with police getting involved for two reasons: a saesang committing a crime and poppy being accused of possessing illegal medication.
and well! the truth was that poppy had all the proper documentation and medical history to prove she wasnât breaking any laws, but, of courseeeeeeeee, the media and knetizens didnât care at first, and the whole situation exploded without the facts. other stans added fuel to the fire, not because they cared about her being a possible drug addict / a criminal, but because they juss wanted to talk shit!Â
anyway. the saesang eventually admitted they did that to turn public opinion against either kaia or poppy, as their fans were getting a little too cocky and kept bringing up yvanâs bullying scandal which was soooo old news!!! charges were filed against the saesang, but none were filed against poppy due to the authorized documentation of her meds. even so, the incident kinda hurted her public image, and the group faced a wave of hate (not only because of this. the other two were getting hated on for other reasons, too) until management released a final statement clearing poppyâs name. they emphasized her medical history and explained the misunderstanding around the medsâ mmmmm legality
as time went on, things started calming down, and the scandal even sparked conversations about idol's mental health and started leaving her alone. but ofc not everyone were ready to let such a scandal go!!!!! so, some people clung (and still clings to it) and created the hashtag #pillpoppying to try to drag her reputation down. ironically tho, what was meant to be a smear somehow turned into something funny for angelsâŚÂ like yeahâŚÂ they probably were very :/ when the tag started trending but then they realized how ridiculous it was. like even poppy addressed it on bubble eventually, saying that she hated the hashtag not because of the context, but because she found the gameplay funnieâŚÂ so yeah, this ae.linkieâs context is tied to one of poppyâs old scandals. itâs kind of like, âu canât use this to hate when we already think itâs funny ourselves. even poppy thinks itâs funny!!!â
#⸺ ďź ĂŚ. ⯠asks.#poppy 'i so totally have my drg problem under control' kim#idk how to tag this#like is this lore territory? not rlly. this is more scandal territory#yall... i talk so much abt the group lore but the sillies have so much going on to i really need to start sharing more abt them#maybe that anon who said i was gatekeeping them was being REAL but i didnt listen..... wow.............#lia. im so sorry it took me weeks to reply i do things at a snail pace my bad#i dont think angels use this linkie at all bc. scandal. but it exists and its funnie#fun fact poppys old twitter handle used to be something like poppying too so yeah. another silly layer to this

tbh to me c!sapnap is on the same level of betraying c!dream as c!sam. It may seem far-fetched considering what c!sam did and considering we don't have much real lore content with c!sapnap or c!dreamnap, but when you look at what we DO have, it's kind of a picture
like, he's not just some stupid or short-sighted character, as it might seem at first glance - we have a ton of evidence that he understands perfectly well that prison makes c!dream physically and mentally ill, but he agrees with it. In the dialogue with c!michael he literally says "dream fucked up, prison fucked him up in another sense, but it doesn't matter, cause dream has to get better and become *my* dream again, let him stay in prison and improve, even if it breaks him idc", like wtf is this? funny, but at the same time, c!sapnap doesn't visit dream more than once, how will he know that c!dream is making progress? In c!sapnap's head, prison is supposed to be a rehabilitation for c!dream, only no one checks his progress in stopping being a "fucked up", he either sits there completely alone or people go there to hurt him and c!sapnap understands and acknowledged it, but he doesn't give a shit. I'm sorry, but this gives off sam's "I thought I broke his will to do something like that". He obviously doesn't care about c!dream and just wants his good old *convenient* friend, and he doesn't care about the consequences.
But he's not just passively harming c!dream, he's doing it actively. If the threat could still be interpreted as an emotional outburst, something he could say and regret, then his other actions clearly say the opposite. Like, the dude literally stalked and harassed c!dream for months after he found out where he lived??
The revival book was more important to him than torture. Even in the beginning, he didn't care about c!dream's reputation, when c!wilbur and c!tommy dragged it into the dirt for no reason, and he repeatedly went against c!dream or supported things that directly harmed c!dream. For me, one of the most telling scenes is c!sapnap and c!george's meeting with mexican dream's ghost, where c!sapnap, without any reason, pins the explosion of El Rapids on c!dream, and then, when he finds out that actually c!quackity was the one who did it, c!sapnap immediately says that they urgently need to go and find out why he did it, to check if he's okay and all that. This is literally the attitude you'd expect from c!tommy, to attribute every bad event to c!dream, but no, this is his so-called best friend! And of course, he only wants to know the reasons for an action when someone else does a bad action, but not c!dream - well, of course, cause it's clear that c!dream reasons are "being evil" or smth.
So, I've been in my c!sapnap hate arc for over two years now and you all should join me lmao
I didn't think I'd write SO much, but emotions took over after reading the new chapter of your fic and some of your posts, sorry abt that :"^
[context a & b]
Honestly, in my opinion his betrayal is almost worse than Samâs, which is saying something since he literally enabled and facilitated daily torture. But like Sam wasnât Dreamâs self proclaimed brother, and at least Samâs delusion kinda makes sense. Sapnap is just like - the chicken tastes rubbery and overcooked, so I put it in the oven and then it tasted burnt, so I put it back in the oven to help the taste and at some point Iâll take it out of the oven and then itâll taste good again. No idea how long thatâll take, and no donât be ridiculous Iâm not gonna check on it. I swear though if anyone touches my chicken before it tastes good again like so much as removes it from the oven or seasons it Iâm gonna throw it in the trash⌠vs Sam whoâs like - the chicken tastes rubbery but I spent money on it so Iâm gonna put it in the oven and turn it to charcoal so at least then it wonât be a complete wasteâŚ
ya know? Like at least Sam was corrupted by power, financial benefit, manipulated a bit, and had the blood of a âchildâ on his hands. Sapnap doesnât even have that, he has a life long best friend who he heard made a speech about not caring about anything and then later a speech about wanting to control everyone, a fish in a item frame and a letter saying âthanks for visitingââŚ
Well I donât know about the âeven if it breaks himâ I donât think he is thinking that directing about Dreamâs suffering if that makes sense, but Sapnap is delusional no doubt. I also donât know if he even cares that much about the book in general, he just doesnât seem to give a damn about the torture. He seems to really just be about the fear of what Dream might do and how he needs to be stopped before that.
And you do have a point, in the beginning even as his âbrotherâ he on many occasions went against him, down to the very first disc war where they killed him multiple times. I mean if Sapnap werenât American, heâd have probably been right alongside clingy duo in Lâmanberg and stuff⌠oh I had no idea about the El Rapids thing but am also not surprisedâŚ
What do you even mean, I am literally an engineer of this Sapnap hate train đ choo choo! I be shoveling coal to keep this engine running ya know. like literally the more lore I watch the more he actually just kills me.
but anyways, I mean you read the chapter (and presumably the one before) so you know my thoughts on Sapnap lol. ;D
#No worries lol Iâm pretty sure contagious XD.#but anyways I mean you read the chapter (and presumably the one before) so you know my thoughts on Sapnap lol. ;D#dsmp#c!sapnap#c!dream and c!sapnap#hello there#dream smp#can you imagine being punz and Tommy in the finale talking about Dream just being simple in the beginning - it was just George⌠and Sapnap.#dreblr#did someone order an essay?

ranking crew members arrivals on serenity based on how chaotic they are, from most normal to most chaotic
wash
seems like a fairly normal job interview
the main chaotic elements are wash's mustache
and zoe taking an immediately Dislike to her husband-to-be dsjsjs
inara
again, a fairly normal negotiation between mal and inara
points for implied secrets and mysterous backstory inara isn't willing to share
and for the immediate UST between her and mal
and the fact that she reads him to filth
you could probably switch wash and inara either way and make a case for either tbh
zoe and mal
go together since they do this at the same time
chaos points go to mal for picking the oldest most-beaten up underdog ship he could find and going "yup. that one" while someone is trying to sell him on newer, less broken down ship that still y'know. works
she doesn't even run at first lmao
and for zoe thinking he's ridiculous for it but then going along with it anyway
points also go to this being two platonic life partners Becoming That after the war because theyâre like âwell we lost but fuck that weâre in this together for lifeâ
kaylee
meets mal while getting dressed after having sex in his engine room
successfully identified what was wrong with the ship mid-coitus
mal going from uncomfortable to baffled to impressed in like 5 seconds
kaylee accidentally steals her one night standâs job without even trying. power move on her part tbh
book
âiâve been out of the abbey two daysâ
funnier (and sadder but shh) when you know he has a Complicated Past so he got out of the abbey, was convinced by a cheerful mechanic to fly with them, and immediately is like âoh no not this shit againâ
figured out who the mole is before the captain
proceeds to knock dobson out with two punches
hey isn't this guy supposed to be a shepherd??
accidentally lets dobson out of his room. if he had not done this the whole episode may have ended differently?
you could probably switch w/ kaylee and make a good case for it. but since book's happens in the context of more chaos this feels right to me
jayne
i mean
was tracking and planning to shoot and/or kill mal and zoe
on a different crew
held at gunpoint, mal realizes jayneâs actually pretty good at what he does
manipulates him into turning on his other crew
hiring negotiation at gunpoint
jayne shoots one of his other crewmates
i don't think this would go over well in HR
simon and river
the og chaos storm!!
simon shows up all weird and mysterious and evil-seeming (heâs just nervous)
has a big weird box heâs strange about
they donât even know river is there at first so sheâs technically a stowaway
accidentally lead an alliance agent onboard as heâs trying to arrest simon and recapture river
the rest of the crew technically meets river naked in a cryobox
and find out this random girl they met 20 minutes ago was victim to horrific medical abuse and experimentation
simonâs chaotic chain-of-events unwittingly gets kaylee shot, oops
they end up on the run from the alliance not because of the crimes the CREW is doing but because of simonâs crimes (itâs ok they were justified)
this part isn't even because of the tams but just the fact that their arrival coincides with a reaver chase. this is murphy's law: the episode
one of the passengers they took on board DIES at the end. like heâs a cop and he's hurting people so itâs fine. still fully chaos that is a direct result of simonâs (again, justified, but still) choices jdhdhdhs
and yet they still have 3 new people on board because of river
net crew expansion stays the same, somehow
mal needs a drink
simon has a concussion

I think some people are a little too hard on the Naruto vs Neji chunin exams fight because, like, Naruto is saying all this stuff about destiny not being real and breaking through your fate and then wins because of the Kyuubi. Which obviously comes off as contradictory to the seemingly intended message.
But like, it's hard to remember this now that we've seen the rest of the show (and how being a jinchuriki is a huge part of Naruto's power and importance moving forward), but, up until now, the Kyuubi has basically only been detrimental to him. Literally the reason he was unable to do basic shit like clones, as well as the reason he was abandoned as a child and just hated and mistreated by everyone throughout his youth.
So like, Naruto having a speech about one's supposed "predetermined destiny" not being important, and driving that point home by winning using the Kyuubi's power, isn't an example of him being destined to win -- in the context of the series up until this point, Naruto's "destiny" has been to lose and be ridiculed because of the Kyuubi. So having him win using its power, and impress people in the stands, comes across as much more resonant if you take it in the original context IMO.
Don't get me wrong, that fight still bugs the shit out of me in several ways lmao. I mean, later on the show just falls directly into making Naruto the chosen one, fated to win all along, which makes the scene hard to appreciate, and also like. Neji was born into slavery and the show doesn't even attempt to address that moving forward. Maybe they could've worked it if they actually addressed and changed the Hyuga clan moving forward, AT THE VERY LEAST when Naruto becomes Hokage and marries the clan heir, but like, again, most of my problems with it just come from the fact that I know it'll be undercut later on.
I just think it's a little shortsighted to criticize the scene for having Naruto win bc of destiny while decrying destiny, because in context that's really not what happens.

I love how everyone except Eren and Zeke are soooo out of the loop now. There is a literal GOD and his Demi-god children in there, watching their every move. When Eren emerges from the paths, he is gonna sound like a mad man trying to explain the shit he saw in there lmao.
Armin: Eren please, you are not making any sense!
Eren: They are in the waaalls Armin...
Armin: What are you even talking ab-
Eren: THEY ARE IN THE GODDAMN WALLS!!!!!
Wait I want to add something before I get into more talking points.
Eren: I'm done. I give up.
Armin: Oh thank god.
Megatron: No this is too easy. Why are you giving up?
Eren swallowing nervously: I...um...I made your dad angry.
Optimus and Megatron look at each other in confusion.
Optimus: Cybertronians do not have fathers.
Zeke scrambling for his life: YOUR GOD! HE PISSED OFF YOUR GOD!!!!
Optimus and Megatron staring in horror.
Optimus: What in the Allspark did you do?
Eren:...It was an accident.
Primus tearing a veil in the fabric of reality to enter the real world, in human form but powered up by the Primes and speaking in all of their voices: EREN JAEGAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eren: I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I-!
Zeke screaming in sheer terror.
Megatron raising his servos in surrender: Frag this! I'm out!
Levi done with life:....this might as well just happen.
So obviously, Eren and Zeke are the only ones who have the full context of everything that's happening right now, but Primus has been interacting with a few other characters in AOP that would probably tip them off to Primus' true nature.
Erwin technically doesn't count because all he has is a picture to go off of and he's assuming that it's not Optimus based on how it's drawn. Just give Erwin five minutes alone with Primus and he'll figure out that Primus is a deity.
Pieck is obviously the person in the cast who still alive who's been interacting with Primus in most. The only reason she hasn't figured it out yet is simply because she lacks the information. But Pieck has been shown to be ridiculously smart, so once she has the information, she'll piece together that Primus is actually Primus.
The other two characters would have any idea what's going on, is Mikasa and Levi.
Remember when I brought up the fact that I wrote Primus making a vow to protect Mikasa. Yeah, if you reread a few of the chapters you'd recognize that Primus gave the Ackermans an extra power up because he wanted to protect Mikasa. The blue of energon Mikasa and Levi get when fighting? Primus. The voice they hear in their heads, guiding them and advising them on how to fight? Primus.
Also, side note, Kenny hasn't had his little power up....yet.
But other than that, everyone other human would be in the dark. Maybe Optimus and Megatron would piece it together if they get enough information.
(Keep these asks coming. They are fun to write, especially since I've been sitting on this chapter for 4+ years. I need to talk about it.)

Today I had the stupidest of dreams, but I think people around here enjoy reading that kind of stuff so:
I dreamt I was in my village apartment watching a VHS movie (this context made it feel SO real because we have an actual VHS player that still works irl) and the movie in question was an Osmosis Jones sequel.
You can't imagine how realistic that shit was, like... The animation was so freaking good I genuinely asked myself in the dream if I had seen that movie before even remembering there is no such sequel apart from the TV show.
I can't remember what the movie was about BUT I can tell you it was FULLY 2D animated and it reminded me of those 2000's disney sequels that are so strange that feel uncanonical LMAO. All I remember is that the characters that appeared were Ozzy, Thrax and a made up character (maybe a germ?? Don't know, he was a nice dude tho).
For some reason, the three of them were planning something? But it seemed like Ozzy didn't want Thrax there and Thrax was planning smth evil on his own but tried to look like a chill guy. I remember the made up character telling him "Yeah!! I love Dragon Ball" and Thrax was like "cool".
And it was so ridiculous because when Thrax's revealed his actual plans he said smth to the made up guy like: "you better stick to what I say if you want to keep liking dragon ball" WHAT THE HECK HAHHDHDHD And btw, Thrax said at some point "fuck" and I remember me saying "YAY, THIS TIME THE MOVIE IT'S ACTUALLY PG 13" LMAOđđđ
At some point by the end of the movie, the VHS was broken and couldn't play what was left. It's so funny to me to think my brain can imagine all that but it doesn't want to give it an actual end.
Anyways, if you've made it this far, I hope you've enjoyed my story.đŚđĽ¸

a family member of mine just got engaged to his partner of the last several years
lore rekindled got a 30 minute readalong video made about it by DazzlingKate22 (the same person who made the "Is Persephone a Mary Sue?" video among many others) which is just absolutely amazing and overwhelming at the same time
and now the shit-talking train over the "never apologize for being sicilian" panel from S1 of LO has pulled into Twitter and people are dragging the FUCK out of it, i'm literally crying over how funny it is
hey webtoons i don't think your constant mass marketing of this series is working because this post is popping off way more than literally anything else regarding LO on twitter LMAO
it would be so genuinely hilarious if this one out of context panel from like 4 years ago is what gets people in the mainstream webtoon audience talking about how ridiculous it is
like it's not even a recent scene where people could go "wow this comic really went down the tubes", it's an old ass scene where people are going "wait this comic is still around, who the fuck reads this" đđđ
so yeah, today's been pretty fun LMAO
#fr tho i haven't been on twitter in so long i forgot how savage y'all are#it's funny but i also know just how brutal it can get too#i literally had to recover an old sign in to see what was going on with this after ppl were talking about it in discord#i'm still very happy cozy here on tumblr but it's fun to watch the folks on twitter finally get their hands on this#also the ppl who have been part of the anti scene for years releasing all the pent up frustration that they could never let out#y'all are being so validated rn#anti lore olympus#lo critical#lore olympus critical

FSR Rambles 15 times Shadow took the kids
Dark's utterly confused face here sends me every time.
Because DARK knows that Shadow doesn't actually give a rats ass if he's okay. HOWEVER.
This is where Dark's weird understanding of lying comes in.
Because I have faith in you you can see right through Dark's clear lies.
His phrasing is ridiculous paired with his expression being deader than a fish.
Dark is lying through his teeth here and guess who taught him how to do that... :)
Vio and Shadow-
Vaati fell for it. Lmao. Not like he hasn't been betrayed before.
Shadow tries intimidation buuuuut-
Well shit that only goes so far when you haven't proved yourself to act on said intimidation.
Shadow is still afraid of Vaati, and we know from Zelda's fight with him Vaati isn't easy to kill soooooo.
Reasonably so I'd say.
Dark is saying what we've all been thinking "Lmao let's just pull out Vio and the McGuffin sword"
Lol wait- Oh yeah Vio can't because of Dark.
Haha. Woopsie.
Dark going to just deal with it himself and being reeled back by Shadow is sweet to an extent.
Dark's confused about what this physical interaction means, whether or not this counts as a hug. Because let's be real Vaati isn't something he considers as a threat rn what else is his mind gonna focus on?
Shadow's angry Dark's so reckless but Dark's unfazed by the entire situation.
It's sad to consider Dark probably assumes temper tantrums are a normal behavior considering how frequent everyone he's watched so far has em...Just a thought.
Ngl Shadow's use of the word "Fool" in the OG manga always got a laugh out of me. His dialogue is so evil villain I try to capture that in FSR Shadow.
Shadow wanted to try to formulate a plan with Dark to get Vaati to go away but Dark questions why they'd even do that. Flabbergasting the fuck out of Shadow.
Dark HAS no sense of people working with HIM. Obviously Dark would know what team work is since...He's literally watching the team work pride parade but no one has offered HIM team work.
Vaati just bosses him around after all.
Dark's thought process on how his existence works is on full display.
He's alone. He WORKS alone and no body but him is going to get things done. Thanks Vaati.
...There's also the angle to consider he's actually learned this behavior in some capacity from Link...Link HAS been doing this shit by himself for a long time now....
So Shadow offering help is smth that gives him pause.
In the last pane the motif of Dark Link being his own cheer leader/being generally self aggrandizing pops up again.
His wording just being odd aside, he doesn't communicate what he actually WANTS to do, just that he needs Shadow's help getting close...
and from the quotes around help and the knowledge Dark can move fast as fuck on the reader's side, it's implied Dark is just placating Shadow's idea of helping rather than Shadow being actually useful in this interaction. At least from Dark's perspective.
Shield is up boys RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.
Shadow points out reasonably Dark is not being a very good team mate. XDDD
Be nice to him Shadow he's new to this whole "Team" thing.
Panel 2 here is funny because Dark makes the most NON Dark Link expression it stands out particularly just because it's funny but also like, take note of what he called Vaati here.
He just called him "Vaati".
Not "Master Vaati" or "Lord Vaati"
Just Vaati... HMM.
He also flung himself at Vaati full force so there's that.
OH FUCK IT'S YAOI- Oh a serious note...
Prepare to get bamboozled.
Yeah there's a reason Vaati is fucking confused. Dark was taking another conversation out of context to try and comfort Vaati.
So if there was any doubt about if that was what Dark was doing or not: Let me put those questions to rest that is what he was trying to do. XD
The kiss particularly is funny considering...Well yeah Shadow did kiss Vio a lot.
Shadow being, reasonably flabbergasted at this interaction just gets a laugh out of me.
Vaati's got nothing to say that shit hah. Dark isn't making MUCH sense in this interaction.
Dark does show he's still loyal in some way to Vaati though.
Turns out: Vaati's just not in the mood to deal with Dark's nonsensical behavior and points out an...interesting caviat to the whole "let's recruit Dark link" plan.
They have to kill him.
In no uncertain terms, to destroy the curse would be to destroy Dark Link. So having him on your side really doesn't mean anything. As he'll do what he was created for by nature.
In a way it brings you to question how much free will Dark truly has in this equation. Also, it makes you kinda realize in a messed up way Dark and Link both suffer due to the curse. They're chained to each other on a drowning ship.
Shadow's hypocrisy on display again. He JUST helped this dude and now thinks about killing him. XD
But also: What's the answer to this?
It's a train track scenario in a lot of ways.
Also since Dark's a curse, destroying his body or hurting him won't do much good to actually get rid of the curse itself.
His body will just regenerate or he'll retreat into the headspace.
There's also the thought of, if Link died, what WOULD happen to Dark Link...
Dark is insanely hard to argue with. Because dude can read you like a book and play you like a fiddle.
You can't LIE to him and he'll speak how he feels based on what he's seen.
Like, Dark isn't even just slinging the "you're gannon" ace up his sleeve card at him. He's bringing up things Shadow himself has actually DONE. And that pisses Shadow off.
No matter how much Shadow removes himself from his past self, he still DID those things.
And it does bring to question which of these two are more "Moral".
Dark hasn't killed anyone while it's at least heavily implied in the manga Shadow at least COULD HAVE and shows the willingness to do so to Vio at least.
Dark's "reason" for not killing people is "They stop being fun."
Dead people are boring. Like Link's dad. Which is just, a roast and a half.
Dark takes his aim and fires. Bro doesn't miss a shot. He'll drag everyone.
Shadow also has hurt Vio.
Really the idea Shadow and Dark have a LOT in common is a theme.
Like Shadow can get pissed off as much as he wants at Dark, he's done WAY WORSE than this lil demon guy and can't even argue about that.
The question of how much Dark truly means here is also up in the air as Dark will just say things on other's minds.
Reminder Dark is straight terrified of Shadow Link and just kinda shuts down when Shadow gets peak pissed off at him.
Dark sees Vaati as a fool who needs his help, and seeks Shadow as a threat who's going to hurt him.
Usually actions would speak louder than words, but in Dark's case feeling someone's emotions is 10xs more important. And what Dark knows is Shadow genuinely despises him.
Haha remembering the time pig dad abused you.
But this time Shadow takes the place of gannon being the threatening imposing force.
Thought to consider: Shadow's fear of gannon is reflecting in Dark's fear of Shadow link because...Well Shadow is a piece of gannon. They're in a way afraid of the same entity.
Shadow puts the mask back on and tries to be good boy.
Visually Dark's tendency to grab his hat and keep it close is similar to an animal keeping it's tail tucked between it's legs.
Welp, the beans have been spilled. Dark IS still working for Vaati...Kind of.
In Dark's own words it's not "For"
but Dark never makes sense to anyone other than himself so...
He also just, assumes Shadow knows what he's there for. Which is amusing. Dark in general assumes everyone else should know everything he does.
The comparison to Zelda is baffling but if you really think about it, Dark does make some semblance of sense here:
Link protects Zelda.
Dark protects Vaati.
Tis the same thing. According to Dark Link.
Dark Link in his own words is a hero.
Shadow's reasonable question of "What's wrong with you" is such a genuine reaction to that shit it makes me laugh. Dark's actions make no sense to Shadow but Dark's affections for Vaati aren't logical hah.
Dark wants to see Vio tho and Shadow just, shuts down thinking about this situation
He didn't give Dark an answer so Dark just goes to pick flowers. XD
Shadow's in a tight situation here. What's the best course of action?
"What to do with Dark Link" and "How to introduce him to the others" is a very...difficult one to answer.
If Dark was a mindless curse with no person attached it'd be easy to just destroy him guilt free. But he's not.
Shadow can't tell if Dark's behavior is genuinely malicious or if he's just socially inept (Third option Shadow: He's just acting in accordance to the curse.)
And another thing: How does dealing/handling Dark affect how Shadow should be treated?
After all they're very alike.
Final panels shows Dark offering up a flower to Shadow.
This page is both hilarious and disturbing.
Dark offering up the flower with a cute lil hopeful expression, paired with a happy looking eye on his chest.
Shadow accepting it and being like "Ah we're cool then right-"
only to see Dark vomiting up a bunch of flowers is just, funny. I find it very funny.
"You like one!? :D HAVE A BUNCH MORE!"
It's a reminder Dark really has no sense of how horrifying he is as he's trying to be nice here. XDDD
Which Dark being able to be kind (In his own way) is again smth worth noting. Dark isn't stuck JUST making people misseriable as he actively tries to do the opposite.
Dark continuously breathing out pollen is just a very funny thing to me.
The sense of "I've fucked up" seeping back.
I was listening to the song "Nuts" from adventure time while working on these pages. I feel like that song kinda relates to Dark and Shadow's relationship.
"You're so annoying you pitiful old man. I'd like to help you but I dunno if I can. I thought you were nuts. But, you're REALLY. REALLY. REALLY NUTS."
Actual page shit:
Shadow understands what Vio meant now. XD
Running away from your issues just FEELS easier in the moment sometimes.
Shadow's confessions of being "not a hero" and being terrified about their future make Dark visibly sad.
The comment "We are afraid of very different things Shadow Link" is I think the first time really Dark's directly addressed Shadow as such without the quotation marks or general disbelief in that name/title.
If it's not, at least the moment is impactful because Dark is giving Shadow respect in a way he typically chooses not too.
Shadow is very much afraid of Vaati, so Dark not relating to that emotion is a stand out.
Him fidgeting with his hands is a detail I just find cute.
"I feel that thing you hate" - directed at Vaati is Dark confessing he feels pity for Vaati. Since in FS Shadow says he despises pity.
Dark explains WHY he pities Vaati, he just finds Vaati utterly pitiful. XD
They have a little moment of bonding over their shared experiences with Vaati.
Dark mimicking Vaati here showing what he wishes Vaati would say to him:
Dark Link wants praise and affection and relationships with others.
But due to his very nature it's very difficult to actually gain these things, and the people he's spoken to outright deny him of these in any meaningful way.
Shadow's question of "Aren't you afraid of what he'll do" just gets "I like Vaati" in response. Pff.
Yes we know buddy, very insightful.
The 2nd to last panel shows smth very insightful:
Firstly that "Nobody loves Vaati" Any care Dark DOES have towards Vaati isn't just him mimicking someone else as it's safe to say everyone hates that guy haha.
More disturbingly:
Dark Link doesn't consider himself a "Somebody" and starts trailing off at the end of his sentance.
"I think it's sad, but it's his own fault...he rejects the only-" and then stops.
Dark Link referencing himself as the "person" Vaati continuously rejects but stops before he calls himself a "person" verbally.
You could imagine his continued sentence would be "He rejects the only person who cares about him"
Somebody's hair and eyes changed.
Instead of being white at the roots Dark's hair shifts to being Vio's complete hair color.
This is where we dive into psychological horror realm.
What IS Dark if not a person. IS he a person? What qualities does he have that make him a person?
Dark struggles with the distinction of if he's a "real person" or not but quickly dismisses it as smth Vio has been thinking. Which...Is true but also, considering his line about "Nobody loving Vaati" despite very much so caring about Vaati. Dark's identity crisis isn't exactly smth he has a firm grasp on.
PAGE. LIMMIT. Wrote this while sick so I'm sure I missed shit Aghhh.

Everytime this fucking fandom finds a new ridiculous reason for hating on liam I just keep wondering how they imagine a 1D reunion? Do they think they would do one without Liam lmao? Like if you want that you will see you precious faves with him and will have to deal with it? I dont want one because i dont want to imagine the kind of shit Liam would get and think that most people would not deserve a reunion either way but i just dont understand this deranged behaviour while simultaneously waiting for a reunion...
you spoke my mind, anon. all these people are mostly solo fans. they just want some reason to hate liam. they just wait for him to do something and then immediately start spewing mean shit; creating weird, baseless narratives about the boys hating liam secretly. some even find this funny & trendy, and they just directly jump on the hate train while not knowing any fucking context. it's fine if you don't like someone, but it's really not that fucking hard to ignore them.
what's highly appalling to me is the perpetual jokes about liam's physical appearance, 'speculations' about who threw him against the wall (ridiculous that people are still joking about someone's physical abuse trauma), and the restraining order jokes.. like ???? how do they find these funny and quirky? it's borderline bullying. and the jokes about the reunion being only about 4 guys. but in actuality, the boys genuinely love & support each other.
and same. i literally don't care for a reunion anymore. sure, i miss the boys, but i really don't want a reunion if this is how it's going to be in the future.

love this podcast so much! this is probably a bit of a nuts ask but i just wanted to let you guys know that you've genuinely helped me in real life- I was approached by two Mormon missionaries today (i live in the UK so it was Unexpected to say the least) and for the entirety of the conversation I was remembering how you mentioned on one of your episodes (99% sure it was you guys) about how being on missionary is most Mormons' first experience of the wider world so you should do your best to be polite etc. all the context you gave genuinely helped me navigate the conversation so much lmao, you guys are entertaining AND educational 10/10
oh wow!! daaaamn, good for you!
and yeah, that sounds like something we would say. I (G) can't seem to dig up receipts right now but the tl;dr is that oftentimes, door-to-door evangelism of the kind mormon missionaries and jehovah's witnesses engage in is less effective at converting people, but highly effective at reinforcing to the group's members that all outsiders are Cruel And Sinful and therefore you should never leave The Church because that's where the only good and kind people are.
but also, like, 90% of the time the reason I (G) try to be kind to mormon missionaries is because they're like 20 and have never been allowed the simple joy of a macchiato (but must try to fill that void with vile concoctions of dr pepper, gummy worms, and half 'n half, apparently.)
also, let the record show that "being kind" does not mean showing any interest whatsoever in converting to mormonism, or leading them on to that effect! but it costs $0 to wish them a nice day and be a shining example of how wearing spaghetti straps does not in fact lead to sacrificing live goats to satan.
anyway. we're proud of you, anon! glad you like the ole podcast đ¤
âG
yeah this is awesome to hear!! and even to add onto this, that sort of advice is pretty good to utilize just in general when talking to people from these ultra-conservative, super-sheltered (and yes, usually religious) upbringings. like G said, you don't need to lie to them and make them believe that "oh yeah totally i'm absolutely going to see you this sunday and I sure will consider changing the entirety of my belief system/morals!" but, yknow, just be kind. it's good to do even for Normal Regular people you see on the street. but this isn't sesame street so I won't start that brand of schoolyard lecture.
semi-related, but a little tangential: my super-strict catholic high school used to invite mormon missionaries to come and 'speak with' specific religious classes (usually the TrulyCatholic bitches took these) every year. and every year we heard about how "lol the ridiculous mormons keep coming and being nice to us to try and talk about their religion as if we're EVER going to change our minds and believe in their FAKE and WRONG version of christianity?? isn't it so stupid that they're so patient and kind to us even as sister catherine anne stands back and lets us bullyâI mean, debate these guys? anyways I wonder when the moronsâI mean, mormons, will stop coming back. đđ
"
and to this day I still think about those guys! because I never understood their willingness to come back every year, and I could not fathom why they were consistently so nice. learning more about mormonism through this podcast has really helped my ex-catholic ass look at the outside world and be like "oh, we were the assholes. I mean, I knew that already, but shit." and tbh i'm sure they honestly loved coming to my school, because nothing will solidify your own stance/opinion on a group of 'outsiders' than a mob of privileged ravenous catholic teenagers. anyways, let that be a refrain for you on your new day-to-day: don't be like the catholics, be kind. amen đ

Can i get some cool spanish language facts
The word with the most amount of meanings depending on phrase and context is balls (cojones)
Despite our mostly Latin roots due to the Roman invasion, we also got invaded by the moors, which implanted Arab words into our vocabulary (and gave us a ton of Arab buildings and Arab names to cities and towns but that's not the point). Some of my faves are "fulano", "aceite", "estrella", "almohada", "azafrĂĄn", "jarra", and "comino". They stand for "just some guy", "oil", "star", "pillow", "saffron", "jar with handles", and "cumin"
I. I had to use Google translate for that last word. What the fuck.
WAIT NO THAT'S NOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT I WAS TALKING ABOUT CARAWAY. BUT STILL WHY THE FUCK DOES THE WORD CUMIN ACTUALLY EXIST
Uh. Anyways.
A common insult throughout Spain and latam is "me cago en [x]", which stands for "I am shitting/going to shit on [x]" and then you just add whatever you want. The most common variations are shitting on family members or ancestors, but there are also other funny alternatives like
"me cago en la puta" (I am shitting on the whore)
"me cago en tu sombra" (I am shitting on your shadow)
"me cago en todo" (I am shitting on everything)
"me cago en la hostia" (I am shitting on the communion wafer)
Fun fact our word for communion wafer ("hostia") is actually a pretty common swear word with multiple meanings lmao. It's also used to describe a very specific way to hit someone
Which. Yeah. We have a lot of wonderful ways to insult someone and as a person who's fluent in both English and Spanish lemme tell you that Spanish is superior in the insult aspect hands down like y'all don't even come close to the shit we got going on in here
There is also this one phrase that we have when someone is so incredibly lucky it becomes hateable/ridiculous (that my mother says to me and my father a lot lol) which is "tener una flor en el culo"
It stands for "to have a flower in the ass"

yeah dude the way caesar reacted to your ask seemed excessively defensive. i think that on some level there should be an expectation/responsibility for compassion when we are posting about violence like animal cruelty online (even as a meme), at least on blogs where it is not something you would reasonably expect to see. and i guess it is his choice not to, but it is definitely not ridiculous of you to ask. he said its your job to create your own experience, but if everybody randomly posted animal violence and then got angry would somebody asked for it to be tagged, then that would be impossible. his own logic relies on the (correct) premise that other people are less of an asshole than him.
Exactly! I absolutely agree that we need to create an online environment thatâs safe for ourselves and our personal needs, and to expect some amount of deviation outside of our comfort zone.
But using tags is rendered completely useless if even one person refuses to use those tags, especially for commonly upsetting or triggering content. And like you said, in cases where itâs not something weâre expecting to see. So if Iâm the one responsible for curating my online experience, but Iâm not being given the context to do so, somehow Iâm the one at fault for asking for the proper filters. Ok. đ I understand that we have no way of predicting what will upset those around us, but a certain amount of empathy and understanding is needed if weâre going to get anywhere in life. It costs nothing to be kind, and to instead react with purposeful and inflammatory misinterpretations (to the point of negatively impacting their own well-being, it looks like), says a lot more about them than it does about me. Plus, they literally told me to block them, since they would be refusing to use tags. So I did. And apparently that was an issue, too, lol.
Itâs just wild to see how far theyâre going to misinterpret what I wrote, and to project their clearly significant issues onto my words. I made a request, and was denied, so I followed their suggestion and blocked them while acknowledging that I wouldnât be getting that kindness from them. And somehow that translates to (and I quote, because I just checked and theyâre STILL going on about this, lmao), âframing them as a huge piece of shit,â âlashing out,â and âharassing them to all hell.â
Like, my post is right there. All I said was, âI clearly wonât get any compassion here, so Iâm peacing out, and I hope nobody treats you in this way when youâre upset and need kindness.â And theyâre making post after post about it, talking about how Iâm accusing them of being a horrible person, how Iâm in an echo chamber of entitlement, etc.
I donât know who they are or what theyâre going through, but theyâre clearly in a rough place if they feel the need to latch on this strongly to a simple request and unfollow. They made the choice not to use the tag, so I acknowledged that and blocked them, yet theyâre the one creating a whole ruckus about it. They didnât have to post it publicly, but I guess they needed the validation. Who knows.
Thank you for your support in this, though! Itâs been a while since Iâve been caught up in any internet drama, so I guess it means Iâm managing to surround myself with kind-hearted people outside of this. đ
